Lovely and clean rooms. Great food. Lovely staff

Hotel is really nice. Reception staff can be a bit slow. Staff in the gym and Spa are lovely, helpful and efficient. Bar and restaurant staff are also lovely and friendly! Great location to visit Liverpool, Manchester, Blackpool and it has a nice woodland walk on site.

Lovely hotel. Nicest room I've stayed in, lovely big TV. Staff don't really know what's happening though. Having paid online I was told when I checked in that there was an outstanding amount to pay for the room till she noticed I'd booked through Agoda. Then took a £50 security deposit but couldn't take payment through my phone. Went to check out this morning and the guy also said there was an outstanding amount to pay. I told him I'd paid in full through Agoda and he just said ok that's fine. Surely it should say on their system that you've already paid?

Good for an outing, in the country side

Should be far better than it is , someone needs to get outside and clean it up, rooms are miles away from reception and you take a shortcut using the fire escape, all very grubby outside, staff are lovely and piano 🎹 great fun

Just did carboot. Not been inside the building. Car boot was massive on Bank Holiday Monday

Such a beautiful place the staff are just another level. So kind and friendly. The food again is 5* this place needs so much sharing so people know about it as it really is a fantastic place. They are offering 241 on all lunch and dinner menu from the a la carte menu 241 cocktails 🍸 and even 2 fantastic offers on Groupon.

Fabulous Mothers Day 3 course lunch Wonderful food, great service, lovely location, this is the 4th year we have been here for this special occasion. We returned for mother's day 2024, lovely refurbished restaurant and lobby and function suite, absolutely beautiful. Our 3 course carvery was exceptional, each course was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. Service was very good, and the staff were all knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous . We all( 8of us) thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and will definitely come again. We thought it was good value for money, as the quality of the items was 10 out of 10. Thank you all
