Parcs Restaurant in Peterborough

30 years after moving to Peterborough………..Attended a special “casino” evening with U3A group, some thirty or so people and many other people. The restaurant was busy, the service was very good, the food was delicious and inventive, the ambience was warming. I am definitely going again. These students, after a hard day of lectures, tutorials or whatever, worked their socks off to produce excellent results and so many happy and satisfied customers …..wonderful. I was impressed.

We had a party of 12 for Christmas lunch and it was excellent! 3 courses, beautifully prepared and presented. The team at Parcs Restaurant and the young people learning their art are all sensational. The food and the service was tremendous. Great value and highly recommended!

After a 20 month gap because of the pandemic we were delighted to be back. We were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome. The 3 course meal plus coffee was delicious from beginning to end. It cost £30 and that included a large glass of good quality wine. Amazing value for fine dining. We are looking forward to our Christmas lunch in December!

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was very impressed. The food was tasty, well cooked and there was plenty of it. The pork Wellington was tender and the smoked mackerel starter was very tasty - smoked on site. The service from the students was very good - it was attentive but not overbearing. £11 for a 3 course meal is excellent value. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

The food is cooked and served by the students at the college. What a great job the trainers do moulding the youngsters in to trained hospitality workers. We are Always welcomed by the hostess and well looked after throughout our visit. We go for the three course deal whenever we visit and I would recommend more people to try the food here! Our department try and visit a few times per year. Please come and try it!

.....so you have to make allowances! If you can do that you can have a pretty good 3-course lunch sub £10. Hours limited to term-time weekday lunches and Thursday evening specials. Good value, somewhere between 3 and 4 stars (we need a 3+!).

The trainees at the Parcs excelled themselves, food was really good and delivered by friendly and well trained students. Would recommend for a group meal any time. A;lso great value.

A group of 26 enjoyed Christmas lunch on Monday. Good selection of choices on the menu. Every dish was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Hot plates for the main course always appreciated. No complaints just praise for the delicious food. The young serving staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and contributed to a great dining experience and a happy festive ambience.

Christmas lunch with friends at parcs today was a treat, cooked by the students, all the food is fresh produce no freezer to oven food in this establishment, so refreshing to eat food that has all been cooked from scratch. served by the students. Very attentive and well supervised, each course was served quickly but not hurriedly. Warm atmosphere. The pate was especially good today. All the staff make you feel very welcome, will certainly return. Only other comment parcs needs to extend there opening to include Friday

A very professional, welcoming and friendly restaurant. This location was chosen for a Christmas meal with work and no-one attending were disappointed with the experience. Fast, efficient service, well mannered learners (in training) who were attentive to every need, beautifully presented, hot and very tasty food all topped off with a very festive feel. This is a training establishment and students manage the restaurant. While some people might find this concerning it is the most professional and attentive working restaurant I've had the pleasure of eating in for a very long time.

The food was fantastic; it looked beautiful and tasted superb. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Parcs. What a great Christmas lunch!

Had a nice meal and these young students are trying hard hopefully they will go onto to do great things. The standard was high and they were trying very hard to please. The meal was well cooked looked nice and tasted even better. Well done

Visited Parcs for level 2 cook off, food was excellent as was service. Highly recommend visiting. It was great to see the students working to industry standard!

A little different in as much as the restaurant is part of the college giving students the opportunity to practice and showcase both the hospitality and culinary skills. It’s also different by the fact that the quality of the food and service would put many restaurants I’ve visited to shame

I visited Parcs tonight and the food was outstanding as usual. The service was the best I have received in any restaurant. I highly recommend for people to visit this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

We have been to a number of themed evenings which were amazing. Food is fabulous and I love being served by the students who work so hard to make sure everything is perfect. Prices are low for the high standard of food. Everything is almost too good to share in a review as a little bit of me feels it's a secret that should be kept, so that I can always book a table :) Having said I am doing a review as I want to acknowledge all the hard work and high standards that make this such a good place to dine. Booking is always easy, as staff and students are helpful and organised. I also love the fact that tips are used to benefit the students in going on trips, so do leave them a nice tip.

This is an outstanding restaurant. The food is excellent and the price is ridiculously low. The service and hospitality are the best you'll find anywhere in the city. My wife and I absolutely love it. They have theme nights and different cuisine types every Thursday evening and the lunch menu is excellent too. You really should go.

Very nice restaurant run by the students as part of their course. Meal was very well cooked and presented. A good selection on the menu. Students worked extremely hard to make sure all was OK. Well worth a visit and worth the cost.

We attended Quiz Night at Parcs Restaurant.The student staff were very polite,attentive and very professional,obviously very well trained!.The food was excellent,value for money,tasty and well presented.We really enjoyed the quiz unfortunately we did not win.

Have heard good reports so went to bake off evening ,Really nice 4 course meal plus coffee or tea included in one price.Well worth a try.Bar a little pricey for the venue .Staff and students couldnt do more for you.An enjoyable experience.Look out for there speciality evenings.All food is produced on premises by students.

One must remember that this restaurant is run by trainees however they should still be offering service akin to a "real" restaurant.

Having been recommended this restaurant several times I finally decided to try it, and was certainly not disappointed. The service, which was performed by college students is flawless and the food, which is all freshly prepared on the day was excellent. Furthermore the meals are very reasonably priced. We will certainly go there again.
