Super spicery chilli sauce ruined my kebab

Food and service always excellent

I didn't have any issues with my food but my husband asked for no sause and they put it in, so he binned it. Waste of money.

The food is so good, but the service is not good

They gave me cold food that looked like it had been frozen for a while don’t recommend anyone this takeaway I wish I could give zero start be aware this garbage takeaway

I wanted something to eat, chicken. I wanted to try the paragon square burger, they had a commercial with chicken I ordered 3 pieces of chicken with fries and a coke. 2 minutes after I ordered, the man was ready, I also asked for garlic/chilli sauce Chicken was at the bottom of the box. Fries were too cold and soggy There was no crispy skin on the chicken, so they had been laying for some time. The garlic/chilli sauce was super good Hope the kitchen had a bad day The premises are super nice, clean and tidy.

Smashing food and very polite staff. We ate here twice during our Hull weekend and were not disappointed. Really reasonable prices and meal deals 👌

Paid £5 for donner wrap, gave them a £10 note and they tried giving no change, if you are drinking be careful of these guys as they will short change you!

I had a donner wrap and chips and when I got it was pink and red all over. I felt sick when I ate it and now have food poisoning. I have been sick so many times in the past 3 days.

Cheap pizza hut waited 30 mins for a pizza I preordered it wasn't even busy they where cleaning the fryer

Been a couple of times recently, first a doner kebab, 2nd time hotshot pizza, both times the food was excellent, served quickly by friendly staff

The wrap was good, we could eat comfortably because there were seating inside, the prices are normal, so not expensive, but I think a friendly service is needed. 👍🙃

Awful. Got a mixed kebab at 12 quid and it was dreadful. The 'beef' was some cheap beef burger cut into quarters. Donner got left. Ended up in the bin

Only takes cash. Never have the food that you want, only have left over food for you to order. You never get warm food and they don’t give you the correct sauce!

Awful takeaway. Never has donner meat and it’s meant to be a takeaway in town. Staff are very very rude and literally had a go at me because I didn’t hear him shout my order. Needs to get a grip off the place because the food is very cold. And a women who works there with ginger hair is also very rude

Had myself and 2 other people waiting on food and they switched the lights off making us wait in darkness. Started shutting the door shutter before we even managed to walk out. Didn't expect much from a kebab shop but food wasnt even edible.

One star as I can't rate zero.order was wrong the owner called us liars when we questioned the order, he charged for the items we didn't receive. Rude and aggressive, food was awful, will definitely not order again!

Really bad customer service, food looks old and very cold and burgers are very dry they dont put any sauces on them, will not buy any food from them even if l die of hunger. Avoid this place.

The place is very clean. I ordered 3 pieces of chicken and few chicken wings with chips. I liked the chips and the wings. I wasn't happy about the pieces. It tasted like it was there for few days. I could be wrong

Has a toilet but wont let anyone use it because of covid 19 regilationa and has admitted not been able to clean to the standard of covid 19 regulations committed by the council.

The night staff are sometimes rude but in general the service is good, best chips in Hull easily.

This was a little disappointing for me. They say all you need is a good customer service to provide a solid experience but this place which I visited for the first time a few days ago defies that usual rule. From the off, the location is situated near the train station in Hull and the shop sign (which looks very outdated) is a little daunting - but it was late at night, I'm still getting to grips with Hull and not much was open (that I knew of) at that time on a Wednesday night. Inside, it seems the fast food chain looks a lot more modern than the external sign on the shop suggests. It seemed relatively clean, there was room for seating, it was nicely laid out. Signs for the food were clear and easy to read. Pricing seemed average and reasonable. The customer service from the people here was actually above expectation for what you expect from a place like this and early on in the experience, I found myself rooting for this little fast food chain hoping I'd found one of those rare gems that I could continue to return to for ages to come. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. Despite the above expectation level of friendliness of the colleagues and selection of food that matched the sort of things I like from this style of fast food establishment - I was immediately hit with the obstacle the fast food chain only accepts cash and has no facility for card. I find it incredibly weird that in 2019 - a fast food outlet (an actual building - not a little chip van) based in the city centre with an ideal location nearby the train station still doesn't have card payment facilities but none the less, I requested the order I wanted and asked if they would put the order on for me while I visited the nearby ATM (of which the takeaway employee kindly directed me to) and the man accepted this. He even confirmed whether I wanted salad, salt, etc before I left even though I had left no payment before I did. When I returned, the order was ready almost straight away and payment was fast. Waiting time was incredibly fast overall and so I really looked forward to the Chicken Wrap and Chips I had purchased. Quite frankly, the food was very underwhelming. The chicken was dry, the wrap had nowhere near enough mayonnaise (further amplifying the dryness) and the chips lacked flavour with no addition of any sauce - which I can appreciate, as I had to get money from the ATM, I could not request but was not offered either. The cost of drinks were 80 pence for a can, didn't oblige to buying this as I'm aware of the 24 hour Tesco nearby in St. Stephens, so opted against this cost. All in all, I deducted a star for the lack of card payment facilities and another star for the overall taste of the food. It's a shame really, based on the customer service here, I actually really was rooting for this to be that rare gem of a takeaway I could fall in love with. Sadly, with the lack of card payment facilities, and the taste of the food which did not make up for the obstacles encountered - this shop will likely, in my opinion, lose a fair amount of business to similar nearby chains just a few shops down (However, I have yet to try those nearby takeaways).

If I could rate this takeaway 0 stars I 100% would. Ordered a chicken wrap after being so hungry to bite into it to see pure raw blood, the wrap was charred and tasted like a flip flop. And as for the chips, they were so soggy and absolutely disgusting. Even the staff were as unpleasant as the food. Absolutely diabolical wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

The quality of this food is amazing, although once I asked for mayo on chips, dont ask why, i expected it to be terrible but it was still ok 3ven though I had a lot of it. I wish they upgraded their seats, my friend Alex Pelham had the same situation, overall I've only ever ate the chips, lads lads lads foing this for the medal

Absolutely fantastic place, great value for money and staff are always friendly. Sometimes they're even up for a chat. The food is excellent, some of the best fries I've ever had, spiced well. I can't speak to the whole menu, but everything I have had has been excellent, never been disappointed here. Only thing keeping it from the full marks is that they don't take card payments. Fix this and it'll be top spot for this place.

Food was nice and the prices where reasonable, but let down by the customer service, no thank you, no goodbye, person behind the counter doesn't even look in your direction with a face like a slapped arse

We came across this place while exploring the town centre. Plenty of people eating inside so we picked up a menu for later. They don’t deliver and took a little bit of finding again but it was worth it. Their chicken was lovely, chips a little soggy but lovely chip spice. The kebab meat was soggy and greasy but edible and the salad fresh. Garlic bread with spicy tomato was a little soggy but actually tasted really good. Garlic mayo was lovely but the chilli garlic was a little odd, maybe this is a local delicacy?

Food is beauts so very addictive the sauces are something else highly recommend if in hull you must try ideal central location

4.50 for chicken n Donna wrap... Donna was from last night and cold.. wrap small and they placed it in the chip carton so only got 25 chips (counted).. asked no salad and got sloppy salad.. walked across town to take back.. gave same sloppy bread... Donna and chicken... and then complained at Me!

Food was gud price was gud service was gud but I had 2 wing's missing from my order and I didn't want to complain to them I didn't feel confident enough too plus the food was enough. I paid for them as part of an offer but didn't get them.

Every Saturday I go for a takeaway, for the order I get the 20 minute wait is excellent and the food is always superb. Since moving out to Hull for university the only thing getting me through the week is another takeaway form Paragon Square Takeaway.
