Paradise Street Food in Glasgow City

We are regular customers of paradise street food. The food is 10/10, out of all the places we have tried it is the cheapest in all Glasgow with huge portions and amazing taste. Service is fast and efficient. The staff are very friendly we were given complimentary cakes in our last visit. Thanks to all the staff members and management. Our favourite spot for food. Keep up the good work!

This will be worst restaurant in glasgow city and the worst restaurant experience in my entire life,they are very disrespectful and they don’t know how to behave to customers.first time we orderd food for takeaway and they taken the order and when we reached there is no food for us.second time same,we ordered food and later they called back and said you don’t have food,by the time we are almost close to the restaurant for food.

I had the worst experience trying to order charcoal chicken. They took the order and then called us back telling they don't have food for us because of a previous issue we had with them for the same reason and their very poor service many months ago. They were very rude and disrespectful.

Very bad experience from the restaurant. When they confirm the order for takeaway and on the way they call back and told they don't have food for you. It's just because of that last time they confirm the order of my friends and time when they reach it was close . Very bad experience in Glasgow.

Just called them to order some meals but got the worst service i have ever seen!! Few of my friends tried to order before here and they were fooled by their service and told me not to order there, they denied my order . Should have listened to them. Worst service ever!!

I went there to order an half charcoal chicken with rice - the service could’ve been better. I was waiting for my turn to order but it seemed like they were slightly disorganized, leaving me unsure if I should order again (spoiler alert - I ended up repeating my order) The half charcoal chicken was OK. It wasn’t exactly dry but it wasn’t exactly moist. The flavour was OK. There wasn’t anything special about it. But the portion was HUGE for a great price

1st time ever trying Syrian style food and it was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and have me advice on what was nice for a first timer. We ordered the chicken shawarma wraps and they tasted amazing, the wrap was thinner and different from other shawarma places I've been to but it tasted great and very reasonable priced for the amount. Will be back for sure.

I was charged £14.50 for the mixed starter despite this being £10 on the menu. I was told the extra £4.50 was because I ordered this to take away, but this additional cost isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu or restaurant signage - I was only told when my order was ready and I had to pay (when it was too late to change my mind). I asked for a receipt and they panicked and added the extra charge as 'custom items'.

Really good food and so cheap fancy restaurants will charge you 30£+ and it’s never gonna be good like this. Highly recommend this place

I was really saddened by my experience in coming in to the restaurant. I was suggested this restraunt by my friends and managed to reach there 45 minutes before closure today from 30 miles afar. But the lady and the guy in front stall told me there's only chips, nothing else is left. It's too disappointing. Hopefully you can sort something too have enough food till closure, otherwise it's a shame🙄.

First time having Syrian food. The roasted Chicken is well flavoured and perfectly done, crispy outside and tender inside, the meat just falls apart. The spiced rice has unique burnt flavour with is so good. £11 for a whole chicken with rice and pickles good for 2 persons. Simply awesome! Returned on 30/7/2024 Tried their charcoal grilled chicken this time, very flavourful but you get more charred bits compare with the regular roasted chicken, overall still a very good dish. The rice and thin flat bread were very good. The chilli paste was absolutely delicious and you have to request more if you love spicy food, it enhances the whole dining experience. The okra however was not to my liking, tomato paste sauce, tangy and bland. Overall a good dinner with very reasonable price.

Lovely Halal Syrian Restaurant. With a variety of selection include Vegan Menu. With a resnable price, Also there is a good selection for kids meals and Nutela Choclate oven Baked . The Startar especially Homus and yalangi(Staffed Grape leaves) they are the best in Glasgow. The Rice is tasty. And they give us lahmaahen(Mince meat SPECIAL Syrian pastry ) Freshly made . I love it from A to Z And will definitely come back again.

We buy takeaways, mostly charcoal chicken and rice. We have never been disappointed with it. Well cooked and filling with ample quantity. The staff are really friendly as well. Location is convenient if you’re visiting the city centre.
