Had a take away from here last night absolutely delicious one of the best takeaway’s I have had .would highly recommend them.

Just popped into Paprika for my usual takeaway. BT have messed up their telephone lines.The usual telephone number - 01792 850888 is not currently working.The staff told me to try 07594 228842 for the interim.I was also informed that the 01792 850888 number will be back soon!So try the mobile number if you cant get through or pop in for your takeaway!Make sure you dont miss out on the best indian curries in Gower!

Take away 15 jan 2021. Eaten a curry on a Friday night for 20 odd years so I know what I’m talking about. Extremely disappointed- king prawn & puri starters were horrible- prawns tough and inedible with far to many onions. Main courses of mirchi korma and tandoori chicken bhuna were very bland and poorly cooked. On a brighter note ordering, customer service, collection and hygiene were 10/10. A new chef(s) needed urgently. Bryan Evans

Incredible food and service, the open kitchen is the cleanest you'll see. The customer service is second to none, the most helpful polite people here did everything to make my dad's special order exactly as he wanted it. Highly recommended.

Food quality is no better than any other run of the mill Indian take away. Staff are the rudest I have ever encountered. A mere suggestion to advise costumers the cash only payment policy whilst taking telephone orders led to full on unprovoked confrontation. When the staff say ‘if you cared to read the menu in full, you would have noticed that it is cash only, no one forced you to come here and if you want food just pay and wait in the corner’ you know you are not at a respectful establishment. This was quickly followed by ‘this is not fast food but a curry house. You will have to just wait’. This was totally unprovoked as there was never a conversation about waiting. In the end I had to plead with the owner to stop talking to me.NEVER AGAIN WILL I VISIT THIS CURRY HOUSE

We live about 25 minutes away from Paprika and visited tonight to pick up a takeaway and it was well worth the drive! The service was great, really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. We chose a favourite dish and went with a recommendation which was great. We will definitely be visiting again!! Highly recommended

We had a takeaway from here while staying locally on holiday. My son has a dairy allergy and they went out of their way to make something special for him. This does not happen often! The food was all really delicious, lovely flavours and loads of choice on the menu. I wished we lived closer so we could come back!

We have an Indian we love where we live, and dont often find one as good, however we can honestly say this one is. Fantastic food, great staff, fairly priced. We really enjoyed it. Cash only taken. Will use once more before we leave.

Called in last week and had an amazing meal for the family. Both curry dishes were delicious, very generous portion of chips. The staff are super friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The homemade chutney is so tasty. Looking forward to popping down again soon.

When you return to a restaurant, I know you're not supposed to order the same dish BUT I couldn't resist. I wasn't disappointed. I was dying to have the giant prawns. The Jildeen Prawn dish tasted just as good as it was 2 years ago. My parents had a mild chicken dish. Dansak. My thought it may be a little spicy for my dad I took in some yoghurt just in case and he had wolfed it down. We managed to make our meals last 2 days too. I'm sure we will be back very very soon.

One of the best Indian takeaways ever. Clean, huge range of unusual meals, and very little floating oil on the top of the meals when opened. Every time I’ve been there, I’ve always had a little extra thrown in by the owner. I live 30 minutes away, but the trip is worth it it for the quality of food.

Paprika has knocked Madras (Sketty takeaway) off the number one slot in my most fav takeaways. Its the cleanest most professional takeaway I've come across and food is wonderful. The spices and balance is spot on and seems less oily than most which is great to see.... and feel after the meal :) Hope they continue to cook great Indian food into the future, well done guys!!!

You will not go wrong. Went there last night for a basic curry last minute. It was made fresh in front of me. Asked for the added Vindaloo. Believe me this was the BEST special recipe I have tasted, perfectly balanced starts of mild then hits with lots of flavours undertones. This is an exceptional place. You like curry go, just GO! We ordered a take out from this place whilst staying in gower. The food was so good were were blown away by the quality and freshness. As a family of 5 we all found something to cater for our varied tastes. Highly recommend if you like your Asian flavours.

The best take away curry I have ever had, I have not yet had a bad meal. My husband and colleagues are making our way through there very varied and excellent menu. Easy to park to collect your meal, also when you go into restaurant to collect meal absolutely spotless premises with excellent friendly staff who are more than happy to advise you on choices if you are unsure. We manage a caravan park and I have to say this is the only Curry House in the area that I would and will recommend to our many visitors to the area.

This is truly the best takeaway in Swansea ,can't praise it enough , every time you order the standard is excellent . The open kitchen shows how lovely and clean and well organised the venue is . The staff are very friendly and obliging . Best takeaway ever . Looking forward to next time

We’ve just had a take away (under the order name of Owain). Thank you, we all thoroughly enjoyed as always. Worth driving to get our curries from you rather than our local and more convenient curry house. The poppadoms were fresh and not at all greasy. We loved that the naan bread was fairly flat and not thick and doughy. Our main dishes were delicious too. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for our curries. The gentlemen who serve are always welcoming and friendly and love a chat. That’s what makes us come back as well as the fantastic food. See you soon!Owain and Elizabeth

We had a family wedding at Fairy hill in February and decided to try Paprika one night .

stopped in when passing one evening, really good selection of food. now often phone order while travelling down to North Gower the menu is online.

We had friends in from out of town and wanted a take out so no one had to cook. We didn’t have high expectations but were all positively thrilled with the many dishes we ordered. Ample portions, top notch sauces (tiny bit too sweet ) tender lamb and freshest veg, perfect blend of spices in every dish. Lush! We’ll be back . Thank you!

It was a cold night and I didn't fancy fish and chips like the rest of the family. So I ordered the above dish. Ok it wasn't cheap under £14. But boy did it hit the spot. The prawns were massive and they didn't skimp. Gorgeous sauce. I made it last 2 meals for myself. I was given 2 papadoms in addition to order. My mouth was watering a few days after. I will be back. Happy customer.

On a weeks holiday in the Gower we found this little gem of an Indian. We visited twice in the week and have got say it’s the best Indian food we’ve had. The Manager was also really friendly and helpful and chatted about the different dishes and spices. I would definitely recommend this takeaway it won’t disappoint.

Staying locally and on our way back to our holiday home decided we should have a curry. Best decision made. Really clear menu, friendly staff and efficient service. Good quality curry, full of flavour and good portions. Menu available online. Would definitely recommend and when traveling in the area would make a detour to have again. Car park available to use.

Decided to order food from paprika as we are on holidays in the area, I must say we were not disappointed. The food was out of this world, so tasty and flavoursome. It’s not the cheapest Indian around but well worth The money. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend this place. Only drawback is they don’t take card- only cash.

Tried paprika thanks to TA as on holiday in area. Gentleman who took our order also designed the dishes so was able to advise on gluten free options for me. Actually there was very little I couldn't have and he was well informed as we also discussed cross contamination with the oil. The food was fabulous and there was lots of it- far too much tbh but Take that as a compliment! The shop was clean and inviting and you could see into the kitchen to watch them cook. If you live or are visiting the area be sure to pay them a visit!

Having had a very good takeaway over the Christmas holiday, we decided to do likewise at Easter for a family gathering.

Another delicious meal from the boys at Paprika last night. This takeaway is an absolute gem, and we are so lucky to have it just round the corner! Food is always delicious, reliable and of a consistently high quality. We have a friend with a garlic allergy, and they are quite happy to cater for him. I am hurt and baffled by the nasty comments made by the previous gentleman, and wonder what his motives were. He certainly wouldn't have had a bad meal, and the comment that Bangladeshis can't cook is blatantly racist. Most 'Indian' restaurants in this country are owned by Bangladeshis! Ignore this man's acid remarks, this is a brilliant little takeaway, and I thoroughly recommend it!!

Whilst working away, the guys had an urge for curry due to eating kebabs for the previous 2 nights. The issue I also have in remote areas like this is the fact that the Indian cuisine is more like “Anglo English Cuisine” than an actual curry.

We had a houseful of 14 family members over the Christmas holiday and decided a good curry would be a special treat for dinner one evening. My wife has to avoid garlic in even microscopic amounts, so we phoned up in advance to ask if they could cope with that. No problem, they said, everything is made to order. We therefore ordered, giving them about 1.5 hours notice of when we wanted to pick up the food. We arrived at the shop to find everything ready and a very helpful man (sorry, forgotten his name) went through our order and made sure we could see which were the garlic-free dishes. Couldn't have been more helpful - and was appreciative that we had given good notice, so he had time personally to prepare the special spice/flavouring mix needed.

Huge well cooked portions and wide, imaginative menu catering for all tastes. Friendly fast service.

We have had a few takeaways recently from this small takeaway in penclawdd and think the reviews do not do it justice. Their meat is excellent quality, freshly cooked you can see the kitchen and cooking when you order. Chicken shashlik and tandoori particularly good as is the nan. Service is excellent and friendly. We ordered 3 meals as a holiday treat while staying just down the road in Penclawdd . The food was good , all ready within about 15 minutes of us ordering . Prices fair .

We are so lucky to have Paprika in our village. Always a treat and reliably good - and we try most things on the menu. Friends who come to stay are always enthusiastic about a Paprika take-away. Friendly service but you need cash.

Well to start on a good note!! The Customer Complaint was dealt with expeditiously and courteously. The complaint however, was having ordered a £30 takeaway and being given, quite frankly, tasteless, watered down food was more than disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and obviously frozen...

Me encanta un buen indio, y eso fue genial. Agradable, buen tamaño de la porción que añadían, no grasienta, y puedes ver los chicos cocinar sus comidas. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

This I am glad to say is our local but if it wasn't I would still travel to get my Indian from them. Great food, staff are great, waiting area is spacious and comfortable, open kitchen and it is spotless. If you want to try something new just ask when you call or arrive and they will give you some ideas of what to try, make sure you give the speciality section of the menu a go well worth it. Can't say enough good things about them you need to give them a go you are really missing out on the best Indin takeaway in Swansea if you don't.

I live at Rhossili on South Gower and the first time I made the fairly long journey to 'Paprika' on North Gower, I sincerely hoped it would be worth the effort.I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, the waiting area was clean, attractive and comfortable and being rather indecisive about what to order, the gentleman serving me was so incredibly helpful, asking me what I liked then making suggestions in the menu and offering to make dishes to my taste; I was SO impressed!He was very patient with me despite my dithering and I eventually made my decision with his guidance!I drove back home with my nose doing a rumba with the smells emanating from the footwell, I settled down with my husband and a glass of wine, it was then our taste buds were treated to a medley of the most wonderful flavours!Well, I can not praise 'Paprika' highly enough for their service, extensive and varied menu and their first class service!We have been many times since and have also used them when we have had friends to dinner.Why cook when 'Paprika' do it so much better!!

Our local Indian Takeaway is best by far.Staff so welcoming and food is always top notch,Tikka Masala is my Favourite and other half loves the Tikka Kebab.Service is very quick and food is prepared within 15 mins of ordering.

Given how isolated we are on Gower, I am thrilled by the quality of the dishes at Paprika. The folks there are always friendly and our orders have always been correct.

Decided to skip my usual Indian to try Paprika because of the reviews. Unfortunately my experience did not live up to my expectations. The staff were friendly and everything was efficient. The taste of the food was so-so but what really let it down was the poor quality of the meat used, particularly the lamb, which was hard and chewy. I am used to much higher quality than this for much the same price.

Taz, Mox and the very friendly team at Paprika provide consistently excellent food.Very helpful with gluten free diets. Don't miss it! Top knotch takeaway!

Used by us quite often a cracking little Indian takeaway where the food is outstanding and the staff always welcoming. We have never had a bad meal everything is piping hot and if you want something they don't have they will make every effort to accommodate you.

Excellent indian great friendly service as well spotless. Got talking to the owner and seemed familiar links to the natraj and simla in bridgend over the years i will be back...probably this weekend ;-)

Wonderful food from a huge menu of dishes we'd not seen before..........and we are Indian food connoiseurs! So nice to see it all cooked before our eyes too through the open kitchen. We noticed that people were coming for their takeaways from some distance too - so it's fame is spreading......

This has got to be one of the best indians ive been to in long time. Its amazing how they remeber your name and what you normally like. The 5 star food rating is a bonus. The takeaway is very clean and staff are very helpful. The food is delicious and always the same standard. I will definitely be coming back again.

Service is good food is good. I went twice, both times everyone enjoyed the food. I liked the way you can see the chefs working as you go in the shop. Price was also fine.

We use this takeaway a couple of times each month. They are always really friendly from the moment you ring them to when you collect it, always on hand to recommend new dishes. Their mushroom pilau rice is fantastic and they recommended a dish to us called tandoori chicken chilli masalla and since then that's all we ever order! Every thing is cooked in front of you and they often chuck in a few free poppadoms or chutney. Nice to see they have a 5 star hygiene rating too which is always reassuring. Ample parking outside. If I could improve it I would say add a delivery service but that's just me being lazy!! Fantastic guys, well done!

I have a takeaway from here weekly. Last night I had a Beef curry half madras. Only recently have they started beef curries. I have to say it's was the best curry i have ever had. Loads of beef. Big chunks and loads of it. Very tender and the sauce was as good as ever. Loved it !

Because of my job I've worked and lived all over Britain this is the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Friendly staff excellent food 5 stars every time.

The quality of the food here rivals and surpasses alot of Indian restaurants. If you are looking for quality Indian food this is the place to come. The Goa fish is just the best I have ever tasted. To say this is the best in Swansea is putting too small an area on it. Go and enjoy ! !

Not being keen on takeaway Indians but tempted by the good reviews we tried this last night and it was amazing! Goa chicken, garlic rice (outstanding) popadoms and chutney tray. Will go out of our way to call again soon.

I must admit that I have eaten from far to many Indian takeaways but this has to be the the best by a long way. We had a selection of different dishes all but my favourited had to be the Chicken Shakuti. The staff were fantastic taking the time to explain how each dish was prepared and cooked and with the open kitchen layout you can watch your meal being freshly cooked

My recent chicken shakuti tasted amazing but I nearly swallowed a round shaped bone which it contained which put me off finishing my meal, looked like a neck bone. One act of carelessness can lose valued customers. This dish should contain breast meat but there were small strands in it as well as chunks of meat. Very disappointing.

The best chicken chilli balti ive ever tasted. Always willing to try new dishes and the boys there are very pleasant and helpful an will let you taste ur food incase u want more spice. Since coming here ill go nowhere else.

I know exactly where on the M4 to ring for my takeaway. Phone number programmed into hands free and I don't need to refer to a menu as I always know what I want. It's always ready when I arrive and still steaming hot why I get home. Lovely food and friendly staff. Makes me want to travel more often.

This is a gem of an Indian Takeaway on the zig-zag bit of the Penclawdd main street. Penclawdd may be better known for its cockles and lavabread but it should be known for Paprika. When I am travelling back home I now know where on the road I am twenty minutes from Paprika and can phone through (hands free!) my order and its always waiting for me to pick up as I drive passed. But its well worthwhile making a detour if its not on your route home.The quality of the meat has always been good and I can never resist a sweetly moist Peshwari Nan - not the dry crumbly stuff you get from many takeaways.If only they could put out a few bistro tables and chairs outside this would be a fantastic place to eat out.

Ample parking, easy access, clean open kitchen, gorgeous food (which doesnt take an age for your order to be ready) and helpfull friendly staff! As i said, unmissable!

I am a regular to this takeaway and refuse to go anywhere else, because no other Indian in Swansea compares!!! Amazing food, clean, modern deco, friendly and welcoming staff. I recommend you go to try this hidden treasure if you havent had the pleasure to do so already! 5*!!!

We went to Paprika Indian yesterday and it’s the first time we have visited this Indian takeaway and I must say that this is by far the best Indian I have ever tasted in Wales! We had the Kochi Chicken, keema Nan, chicken jalfryzee, pilau rice and a few other dishes. The food was delicious, I would recommend you try this amazing takeaway! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place is immaculately clean and very swanky with a 5* food hygiene rating . I know I will be a regular there!!

Great friendly service, open kitchen, clean comfortable waiting area, easy parking, great portions and good food. Not too far for many Gower campsites, it's what your second cooler box is for. Only down side is the cash only but a small supermarket around corner has cash point.

Some of the friendliest service in any Indian in Swansea.The food is fresh and delicious. The best garlic rice I have ever eaten - actually tasted like garlic and had garlic in it!They have a REALLY nice waiting area with a view of the open kitchen.Great free off street parking.The onion bahjis are a bit bready for my tastes but not terrible.They only accept cash.A great place for locals and anyone staying in the nearby campsites and caravan resorts.
