Ordered pizza and wings both were terrible. Pizza’s dough terrible texture, cheese didn’t taste nice and pepperoni too salty, the wings were just outright plain. I was super hungry and I still didn’t enjoying eating this

I have been ordering from them for the past few weeks and they are always spot on. The pizza is absolutely delicious and cheesy yummmm.

Placed an order at early hours of morning 2:30am on Sunday morning to be precise and I can tell you my money was best spent. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the delivery driver very friendly called me saying not to disturb anyone, That was great. Over all I would 10 out of 10 based my experience.

hi I didn't actually receive my order

Ordered spaghetti, garlic bread & chips. Chips were soft and remained hot through meal. Bread arrived a bit soggy from condensation, but tasted okay. The spaghetti surprised me, first time purchasing it. Meat sauce on the bottom, spaghetti on top, with cheese topping. Was then baked. The cheese clumped solidly, causing it difficult to pull up a fork of food. Tasted okay, it was warm, large portion (suitable for two), and overall, okay. But unlikely to order again.

The delivery driver was friendly and food deliver early.

It was the worst experience ever Do nit order from then They shout at me because they didn’t bother to came up at the room although i was let them a private note regarding that! And when he call me he said „u comming or not? Or i go?“ So i was payd the food but he whanted he would live without delivering. Worst disgusting pizza ever !

My first Deliveroo order was food from this place at 11pm my first night in London. I was so tired I didn’t read reviews for either Papillion or Deliveroo - huge mistake. This “restaurant” marked my food as delivered (57 minutes late) but it wasn’t. I tried getting help from Deliveroo app but the only options were “live chat” or “call restaurant.” I tried both but there was no answer either way. I left comments on Deliveroo Instagram - they said email them. I did, and they sent me boiler plate “we have investigated and we can’t offer a refund because the restaurant says they delivered your order” emails. Finally after pressing for details about their “investigation” they admitted that Papillion admitted they had not delivered the order but they said it was my fault because the restaurant was unable to deliver and attempted to contact me but was unable to, so my contact details must not be up to date. I replied saying 1) I had just signed up for their app, so of course my contact details were up to date, and 2) the restaurant is lying and did not try to contact me - quite the opposite as I tried to contact them and they ignored my call. I sent Deliveroo screen shots of my verified phone number under contact info and of my call log proving Papillion never attempted to contact me. They still refused to offer any refund saying they would take the restaurant’s word over my proof. At this point I didn’t even care about my money - I was just horrified Deliveroo would keep this restaurant on their platform and knowingly keep letting them blatantly scam people through their app. I told Deliveroo this and asked if they would remove the restaurant. I also said they need to offer customers better recourse for problems like this. I’ve never heard of such horrible experiences on any other food delivery apps. Clearly others have found a way to prevent these kinds of scams and other problems. What I got in return was a boiler plate “thank you for your feedback” which I know was them saying “we don’t care.” I asked for details about how exactly they would fix these issues, which executives they would make aware of this serious problem, etc. They just resent the original plate “sorry you were unhappy with your order” email, which I really think was either a bot response or some 12-year-old at the company thinking they were funny. I have since learned from many other online reviews that sadly MANY other people have had similar problems with Papillion Grill AND with Deliveroo. Don’t trust either of these companies.

The pizza was a mediocre quality and the 'stuffed crust' couldn't be tasted at all. After reaheating the leftovers (what I do with all my delivery pizzas) the pizza got hard and gooey, like I ordered it a couple of days ago, not just a couple of hours, never had that happened to me. And again, the stuffed crust is definitely not worth the exrra £3.50, there was a minimal to no amount of cheese inside. Not happy, won't re-order again.

Absolutely fantastic! Enjoyed the meal happily and it’s was hot obviously very good quality plus the price is affordable for an after hours meal. Five stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delivered the food half an hour early and tried to say I can’t get my food as I didn’t pick the call up when delivery was here. Didn’t expect my food to come half an hour early. Staff was very rude and had attitude when I complained about food arriving earlier than expected.

They claimed that my order had been delivered, which it hadn’t and then the phone line was user busy every time I tried to call.

Food arrived early and hot. Good place for people who don't want added salt. No salt on the garlic bread, chips or pizza. Garlic bread, good, soft with crunchy crust, slight chard. Chips, saltless and soggy (but hot). Pizza, as far as I could tell by sight or taste, had no herbs. What pepperoni I could find was under the cheese and its taste was masked by a heavy, bland sauce. Pizza was boring, but cooked properly without burning.

I would rather go hungry than eat here again

We ordered food on deliveroo and they marked it as delivered but never actually delivered the food, we called over 20 times and they pick up the phone and hang up. They refuse to issue a refund when we went to the store and are extremely rude and unprofessional. They literally we don't like you and we don't like people, how can someone that works in customer service even say that. Ridiculous.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I ordered over £90 worth of food, they did not deliver the food however marked it as delivered on Deliveroo. Deliveroo were unable to issue a refund as they said it was the restaurants driver and not theirs. They also mentioned they had communicated with the manager via email and the manager refused to issue a refund. Deliveroo said I would need to get in touch with the restaurant manager directly and request a refund. I called them to speak to their manager everyday for over a week, and everyday there was a new excuse why the manager was not available. First they gave me several random names for who the manager is, then they said he had a car crash and was in hospital, then they said he had Covid and was in hospital, then they said they did not know who the manager one and last but not least they actually told me the manager was dead. I came to the restaurant at the allotted time advised by one of their workers, again the manager was ‘not there’ and the man got aggressive, started shouting and swearing at me and physically assaulted me and I had to call the police. I will definitely be pressing charges. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Do not order from these incompetent, unprofessional and clearly deranged staff.

Good hasn’t arrived, restaurant not picking up phone

The order was late 1h. I tried calling them when the order was late 10 minutes, only after 20 minutes of continuos calling, they finally answered. Food was cold and tasteless. They added items we didn't even order. Some items were missing. I tried to cancel when it passed 30 minutes mark but they didn't even let me do that. That's the last time I'm ordering from them.

Forgot my drink and disputed it, cold pizza and terrible customer service. Not happy at all.

Food was cold some missing. No bbq sauce at all on wings, just dry and cold. And frozen... Not fresh wings. Just overall a underwhelming experience. I called and they said sorry your food is leaving in 5 mins.... But it come over 50 minutes later.

Look at the number of reviews on just eat regarding this company. You will see Vale all but negative. The customer service is appalling. They are very deceitful by claiming they have delivered food, which is a lie. The staff are very aggressive. When approached requested a refund the member of staff assaulted me. Stay well clear of this company. The employee has made terroristic threats.

Absolutely delicious hot freshly made pizzas. Delivered within 20 mins of ordering.

Food delicious. The pizzas are lovely; the desserts are really nice. The problem is the delivery driver: He is the rudest most impolite delivery driver I have ever encountered. He even tried to, in my opinion, intimidate me because he failed to read the instructions about which buzzer to press when the instructions were clear. It's unfortunate as the staff at the takeaway are really nice.

They don,t deliver your food and they are rude. Never order or visit. When you call about your order they either ignore you or pick up and gas light you.

Highly recommended. I live by Devons Rd E3 which is 2 miles away from restaurant. Delivery 23 hrs per day . No delivery on their info is 04:00 - 05:15 per day.

Ordered from them waited over an hour of the estimated delivery time and still didn’t receive my food. The excuse of the restaurant was that the driver delivered the food to 2 unknown people on the street while i was eagerly waiting for my food. Yet the restaurant deny to send me my food or give a refund. It’s atrocious, very bad service and humiliating.

They messed up my order with two things.

I accidentally put in the wrong address however even the wrong address didn’t receive my order the delivery driver took it he didn’t even call me once but they still charged me

The food was cold. The drivers got my order wrong and had to go back. When he eventually arrived the pizza was horrendous I felt there was spit in the coleslaw and overall the worst takeaways I’ve ever gotten. Left me physically in pain to be honest changed the course of my night.

ordered around 5:30am. food was hot and ok. however, the chicken burger is just those small fillets you can buy locally its not the actual chicken fillets thats given from most of the take away shops that do burgers, so dont have big expectations when you're reading the menu. lasagna is the same as all the other restaurants. barely any meat in it, and tastes exactly the same as if i ordered from anywhere else. drink was amazing. delivered cold.

The best of the best pizza place and we have to apologise to the papillon pizza as our payment didn’t go through but from A to Z they are simply the best. All now I still have not got my food and I ordered at 4:20 it’s now 6:40 am. Not happy with the service at all

The pizza dough,cheese and even the toppings tasted and looked completely different for what normally is delivered. Felt like I ordered a pizza from a completely different company but with the same name.

I called the restaurant to find out where my order is and was told it is 2mins late. After 10mins went by I tried to call again and no one answered. I than tried every few minutes as I did not know where my food is. The food arrived 30mins late without any communication. I am very displeased and probably won’t order from here again!

Food was an hour late the drinks we ordered didnt come and the chips wasnt ordered and mozzarella sticks only came in a portion of 3 not happy at all

Papillon pizza is the very best pizza place in the city and by far the very best in terms of quality, delivery time and not to forget their wonderful, friendly, kind and sweet people working for them. Love you all and we recommend papillon pizza to all as they are simply the very best. We had a problem entirely our fault but it is sorted straight away by a wonderful man called AJ. There was a mix-up with the delivery driver, so the people at the restaurant made me a new fresh order and the cook delivered it to me himself. Absolutely amazing customer service, and great communication. They called me to let me know when they prepared the new order. The food itself was piping hot, fresh and very delicious. I really like this place because they make great pizzas, but they have really outdone themselves this time. Thank you so much for the great customer service and fantastic food!

Garlic bread was tasteless and food was supposed to arrive at 3:45 and turned up at 4:25.

I ordered a quarter pounder and chips at night, but had it for breakfast it came so late that i forgot i ordered it. Restaurant service is atrocious. The burger was like fried cardboard, i ordered because it was the only place open, but i advise you all to starve rather than try the food

My food was 1 hour 45 minutes late. The food was still cold. The customer service was bad. Restaurant did not pick up any calls. Should have cancelled order but still said it is arriving.

I placed an order with them via deliveroo, order never arrived and no one answered to me when I tried to call numerous times. When I called the next day looking for a refund I was shouted and sweared at and the man hung up on me because his brother had taken the food to me apparently and he didn’t believe me. I have no records of them calling me, they did not answer to me when I called and they refused my calls the following day. Total scammers, robbed money from me. Avoid at all costs

I ordered online through Hungry House. They confirmed with HH that they’d placed the order. I waited an hour and, nothing. I contacted HH who confirmed that the restaurant had confirmed. I waited another 20 minutes. I called the restaurant who said that I was too far away and that they “hadn’t sent my food”. I tried to ask why they had let me order in the first place if I was to far away, why they confirmed with HH that the food was on the way, and why they hadn’t thought to let me know my order had been cancelled. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude, talked over me constantly, never stopped to listen, called me “dear”, and kept explaining that I was too far away, as if he were explaining it to a child, when I questioned why they hadn’t cancelled my order. I had to contact HH to get the order cancelled and to get a refund. I’ve since looked at the reviews and they seem to have a history of doing this, and of claiming people’s numbers weren’t working when they ask why their orders weren’t cancelled. Terrible service, will never order from here, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. In fact, would actively recommend that people do not order from here.

Pizzas were perfect. Always get loads of toppings and they modify my pizza exactly as requested such as half portion of chilli. Been using this shop for 5+ years and have had only one issue years ago. Highly reccomend them.

Onion rings were soggy and lacking onion, burgers were dry, "hot" chicken wings were tingly chicken nuggets with bone. Only things good from this shop are the pizzas, bbq chicken wings and desserts.

I tried calling to confirm the delivery, but I couldn't reach them and it never arrived although I was charged. There are two other people living in my house who can confirm that nobody knocked.

Order arrived before the time it was due. Even though there were some complications from my side, the managed of the restaurant was extremely understanding and respectful - even offered to call me to explain the situation even though it was my fault as I ordered it to the wrong address. Will not order pizza from anywhere else because the food was still hot when it arrived. Perfect in every way!
