Ordered a delivery at 7pm. Finally arrived at 9pm Had to call at 8pm to findbout where it was. Was told it had been ready for 10 minutes but no driver had come to collect. At 8:15pm we finally had an update it was out for delivery.... It then took 40 minutes to get here (for a 15 minute drive) When it arrived all item were stone cold. Where it had clearly been left to go cold. When I rang the store to express my upset. I was only told "Its cold because no driver came for it" as if that was my fault. I had to request a refund as they offered no help or to even rectify the situation and not once did they every apologise. I have had to take my complaint to head office, was this is the worst service I have ever received

Never order online from them, they'll organise the driver, but when the driver can't get to you, they will say "we have no responsibility, not our problem, no refund"

Ordered through Ubereats and arrived a completely different side than i had paid for, a really sad looking pizza that was like cardboard with barely any sauce and a drink

Everytime I order from the Dagenham one it is just disgusting or something is wrong. Never get any with bacon on they don’t cook it and it comes looking like ham. Revolting

Terrible customer service (pappa john’s dagenham)! Big lies when promoting bundleIs. When i ordered a pizza bundle (buy one large pizza get one free), added them in the basket, money was immediately taken out of my account and when i called to amend my order, the person on the phone said that he cannot give me the second pizza for free because there is no such promotion and when i asked why they promoted on the website 50% off of pizza and he said nothing he can do and hung up the phone! Avoid at all cost!

the driver was SO stupid he stood a pizza box on its side 💀 🙄... here's your plain pizza and a side of toppings.. just casually smiled and said sorry, call just eats... I put in for a refund immediately, called the papa John's and they just said go deal with just eats, they delivered it, no attempt to even consider doing another pizza. so I need to order somewhere else now, spend more money and wait for a refund eventually from just eats 😟

Extremely poorly run. People working here lack basic skills and communication skills. Was told a refund would be issued. Told to wait 4-5 days and never came. Was able to provide proof of order and then told to wait 7-8 days for a refund. Absolutely poor. Still no refund. Previously they added the wrong toppings on the pizza. Delivery driver also poor expects you to pull the food out of his own bag. This place has gone down hill fast. Please avoid this chain/Papa johns. Run by unintelligent people. Other places much better. Will never order from here again. No help.

My pizza was delivered to me like this, do I need to say anymore? Pretty unacceptable seeing as I paid £20+ for a squashed pizza. Rather just get a Domino's next time, never got a squashed pizza for them and they give me my complimentary sauce with my pizza rather than solely providing the 2 sauces I paid for as extras. Disappointed, I hate giving reviews but there is no complaint email for Papa John's, so.

I walked into the store yesterday(20/02/2024, 5:18pm) but the gentlemen’s face was a no-entry sign⛔. They do not bother about a customer walking in so I had to call them and try to open their face by asking “which pizza is the best?” the employee did not seem to be interested in helping me so he replied “Everything is the best” keeping both his ears on earphones. I managed to penetrate my voice through his earphone-blocked ears and ordered my two large pizzas any way but the pizza was less cooked than the guys have customer service manners. I cursed myself for entrusting them with my food and walked home to never see Papa John’s again. This was what I have seen, I wonder what happens inside the kitchen.

The staff were rude when we asked to exchange a side and the pizza taste like the inside of mattress. If half a star was an option I would give them that.

Rubbish app and website tried to order from Dagenham store to be told its closed but it isn't! Then tried to order from elm Park store, let me order and.then told me I had to come collect it which I couldn't. Very very poor customer service. Loyal customer lost.

Pizza took an hour to deliver and was cold needed reheating in the oven upon delivery also pizza ordered was tasteless and bland with little toppings, have had far better pizzas prior to this and have been tasty with fairly quick delivery.

I would give Zero if I could. Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered online. And it said the food was delivered. But nothing. 20 mins pass so I ring the shop. I’m told the driver will be here soon. Turns up 10 mins later STONE COLD ! I told the rider to wait while I call the shop. And then he rode off they blatantly refused to replace and send out fresh hot food ! Left with no dinner. I will never ever use this place again. Absolutely disgraceful. And that’s an understatement. I will take this as far as I can with head office as well.

Spent nearly £200 for a staff lunch treat, ordered an hour ahead of lunch but had to wait a further 2 hours for delivery and still some items missing! A really poor experience and most certainly won't ever order from here again.

I ordered a large pepperoni and onion pizza for collection. I get to my home and the pizza is very dry. There is barely any tomato sauce on the pizza. I called the store and spoke with 2 men. After explaining the problem they said they did nothing wrong and then disconnected the call. They did not offer to a credit or any other assistance. This is my local papa johns but after this horrible customer service experience I will not return. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this location as they have very poor customer service and the quality of the pizza is not as great as it could be.

We decided to use Papa Johns for the first time, they claim to use the best ingredients etc, normally we spend as a family of 4 about £20-30 from local pizza takeawas, this meal cost us just over £50 even with special voucher offers otherwise my meal would have been £90. The main problem was that we ordered a veggie pizza with 3 additional toppings which contained meat. They missed out all our topping choices @ £1.80 each Therefore I ended up with a wet veggie pizza, it tasted of nothing, this would be typical because we are meat eaters. Feedback: 1) bad quality control 2) I am also reminded again, that if I had ordered this meal via uber eats app this issue would have been resolved by a robot easily, at least a refund would have been provided without faff and soften the blow, therefore, it’s frustrating that there is no slick way to get a refund when papaJohn’s get things wrong (they shouldn’t at all considering the pizza price) 3) Having a fancy app does not help when there is no effective way to get my refund back… god knows how many £5’s you accidentally keep because people can’t be bothered to complain. It won’t happen to me again.

Very delicious pizza, fresh and tasty each time. My child can eat this everyday if you give her the opportunity. Clean environment and customer service is excellent. I will give them 5 stars if they wear gloves to prepare their meals.

We ordered for delivery but accidentally selected collection and as we attempted to cancel our order when calling the store, they tried to 1.overcharge for delivery fees which is £1.99 but we were told to pay £3.00 in cash, 2.they lied and said our order was ready even though we called 4 mins after placing the order, 3. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, they clearly don’t speak English as their first language but they pretended to act like they had no clue about what we were saying. We spoke to an Asian man name IJAZ. Ordered food for delivery and it took ages. I was given a weird, horrible tasting vegan "special sauce" instead of the garlic and herb I requested. I also ordered chocolate scrolls and ended up with squashed, upside-down cinnamon scrolls. I'm not happy and expect a refund. Will not be ordering from Papa Johns again.

Ordered food over and an hour and a half ago still not arrived. Called over 25 times and no answer either!!!! Called from a different phone number and they answered! So the store are purposely ignoring my calls also! AVOID

This is our local Papa Johns and we find the quality and service to be excellent. Every order we've made has been delivered on time, well-presented, warm and tasty, plus it was always delivered with a smile. Definitely recommend.

My usual pizza place. I have ordered from here for many years. Always had a good service and food was always as ordered. Deliveries are also reasonable, usually about 45 mins. Staff are nice and happy to help.

Found a hair in my pizza and they gave us the wrong dips, that i payed extra for, i called them and they didn’t do anything about it. They sounded like they didn’t care! Would definitely avoid them.

Got given to e wrong drink so rung up and asked for it to be swapped they said they would and hadn’t after 45 minutes I rung back and they was saying I lied and did have the right drink after then my partner took the phone as told them we didn’t and asked to just refund it and they said they will deliver it within 20 minutes and that was 40 minutes ago

The best pizza you could ever buy in Dagenham is definitely from PAPA JOHN'S. I really recommend it to everybody beacuse of it's diverse menu, high quality ingredients, fast delivery and always good customer service especially from Simran, being always extremly polite and helpfull. Good job Dagenham team !

Found 2 hairs in my pizza. Called up the store and they acted like they couldn't find my address which they delivered the pizza to. The staff were rude and clearly did not care about the health and safety issue. Stay away from this horrible place!

Pizza was okay at best, but MASSIVELY overpriced, and over-hyped. No surprise they are going bankrupt. Unless you are a fan, avoid and save money.

So ordered the most basic pizza a cheese one! Waited for over one hour then called up was told they were busy and the driver should be leaving on a few minutes when asked how long was told “well he is driving so 10-15mins so that would mean for a margarita pizza so now after one and a half hours still no pizza. The issue is. I calll to confirm being late nothing when ordering to state time delay app now changed so you cannot track your order. Staff generally not interested. However this may just be a Sunday thing as normally during the week I have not had any issues with ordering and delivery but as a paying customer these are the issues that will lead me to go elsewhere. I think it may be worth someone from papa johns to see what the issue is even tho this is probably a franchise and therefore not really there problem. And by the way when the pizza did finally turn up it was burnt!!!

Attempted to order pizza for delivery this evening and got a phone call a short while later to say that the driver would meet me at the entrance to my block. I explained that I had a little one to look after and that I couldn't come down. The guy on the phone then told me that the driver isn't going to deliver the pizza then. Since when does an employee tell an employer what they will or won't do? I've ordered from this shop numerous times and never normally need to worry about this situation. I resent even giving one star. One lost customer.

I ordered a vegan ice-cream, along with a vegan dessert, a non-vegan one was delivered and I can't eat it because I'm lactose intolerant. I offered to exchange it in store and was told that I can't, despite the fact that it would make me sick if I ate it, so it's useless to me. I felt that it was incredibly unreasonable, they were unsympathetic and did not take my dietary requirements seriously. Do not shop here. The cinnamon scrolls that were delivered were disgusting - overfried, too much icing and dry. The rest of the food was also cold. I'm not sure how, I don't live far from the store.

Hot and Tasty pizzas! Very helpful staff. Was able to collect my 2 XXL pizzas in 15 minutes for the fourth Saturday night in a row. Staff sounded a bit tired over the phone but still very polite and helpful.
