I had a pizza from the Dagenham branch a little while ago, and was very disappointed, you needed a magnifying glass to see the toppings, terrible and tasteless

I dont like to leave negetive reviews but unfortunately I am in hopes that the issues are resolved. The Heathway Papa Johns has gone downhill. The last four times we have ordered from here its just been really below their usual standards. Very thin, stingy on the toppings, lukewarm and stiff. Considering we have been ordering from here for over 5 years and its always been nice, hot, fresh and juicy but the past few months it has been rubbish. Dissapointing. I do hope they sort it out because up until recently it has been really good. I will leave it a while and order again in a few months in hopes they bring their standards back up. I should add we get it delivered but when tracking the driver it has always been picked up and brought straight to us and we are only on Oxlow Lane so 2 minutes drive.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! We placed an order and rang to chase up the delivery. The store said they couldn't find the address on Google Maps despite being given the full address and postcode. They have also delivered to here before. They also would not cancel the order and issue a refund! Instead they kept hanging the phone up and saying they will get a manager to call me. I've heard nothing!

Pizza delivered after 45 minutes when we live 3 minutes away. Driver was taking a very long route to deliver. Pizza delivered very cold. Desert we ordered not delivered. Had to call and ask then took long time to deliver missing desert.

The wait time for the pizza was 25 mins. And i agreed to it because I thought it would be worth it. But the product i received was lacking in both quantity and quality. I order a chicken fajita Pizza around 6.30 pm 4/11/2024. An old man who looked like a rookie was preparing my pizza. I can understand that someone needs to have some experience to master the job and it may take time to prepare a perfect pizza. The pizza was undercooked and i was okay with it. But the quantity was very poor. Literally no cheese and the topping was for name sake. I didn’t return the pizza back to store just for a reason it was night time and i didn’t want to make a scene. A rookie can make mistakes on cooking it. But cant make mistake in the quantity he serves We are paying the money not only for the pizza, we customers are paying money for a brand, a quality we get and quantity to full-fill ourselves. Please bear this mind and treat your customers right. Thank you.

Ordered a delivery at 7pm. Finally arrived at 9pm Had to call at 8pm to findbout where it was. Was told it had been ready for 10 minutes but no driver had come to collect. At 8:15pm we finally had an update it was out for delivery.... It then took 40 minutes to get here (for a 15 minute drive) When it arrived all item were stone cold. Where it had clearly been left to go cold. When I rang the store to express my upset. I was only told "Its cold because no driver came for it" as if that was my fault. I had to request a refund as they offered no help or to even rectify the situation and not once did they every apologise. I have had to take my complaint to head office, was this is the worst service I have ever received

Never order online from them, they'll organise the driver, but when the driver can't get to you, they will say "we have no responsibility, not our problem, no refund"

Terrible customer service (pappa john’s dagenham)! Big lies when promoting bundleIs. When i ordered a pizza bundle (buy one large pizza get one free), added them in the basket, money was immediately taken out of my account and when i called to amend my order, the person on the phone said that he cannot give me the second pizza for free because there is no such promotion and when i asked why they promoted on the website 50% off of pizza and he said nothing he can do and hung up the phone! Avoid at all cost!

the driver was SO stupid he stood a pizza box on its side 💀 🙄... here's your plain pizza and a side of toppings.. just casually smiled and said sorry, call just eats... I put in for a refund immediately, called the papa John's and they just said go deal with just eats, they delivered it, no attempt to even consider doing another pizza. so I need to order somewhere else now, spend more money and wait for a refund eventually from just eats 😟

I recently tried the pizza here and BBQ wings. Boy, was that an incredible decision!!

Extremely poorly run. People working here lack basic skills and communication skills. Was told a refund would be issued. Told to wait 4-5 days and never came. Was able to provide proof of order and then told to wait 7-8 days for a refund. Absolutely poor. Still no refund. Previously they added the wrong toppings on the pizza. Delivery driver also poor expects you to pull the food out of his own bag. This place has gone down hill fast. Please avoid this chain/Papa johns. Run by unintelligent people. Other places much better. Will never order from here again. No help.

My pizza was delivered to me like this, do I need to say anymore? Pretty unacceptable seeing as I paid £20+ for a squashed pizza. Rather just get a Domino's next time, never got a squashed pizza for them and they give me my complimentary sauce with my pizza rather than solely providing the 2 sauces I paid for as extras. Disappointed, I hate giving reviews but there is no complaint email for Papa John's, so.

I walked into the store yesterday(20/02/2024, 5:18pm) but the gentlemen’s face was a no-entry sign⛔. They do not bother about a customer walking in so I had to call them and try to open their face by asking “which pizza is the best?” the employee did not seem to be interested in helping me so he replied “Everything is the best” keeping both his ears on earphones. I managed to penetrate my voice through his earphone-blocked ears and ordered my two large pizzas any way but the pizza was less cooked than the guys have customer service manners. I cursed myself for entrusting them with my food and walked home to never see Papa John’s again. This was what I have seen, I wonder what happens inside the kitchen.

The staff were rude when we asked to exchange a side and the pizza taste like the inside of mattress. If half a star was an option I would give them that.

Rubbish app and website tried to order from Dagenham store to be told its closed but it isn't! Then tried to order from elm Park store, let me order and.then told me I had to come collect it which I couldn't. Very very poor customer service. Loyal customer lost.
