Papa John's Pizza in The Vale of Glamorgan

Wanted to order an couldn't check out as the store was closed even though it was only 9.30 Haven't ordered from them for ages an wont be bothering again

I ordered a pizza. It took an HOUR to come. When I got it, there was a MASSIVE hair on it. 🤮 Never ordering here again.

Not bother trying to complain. Big man manager likes to give you nothing but attitude and never accepts responsibility. Can clearly see why your reviews are already so low before mine. You're an absolute joke. Someones gonna have a word with you about your attitude problem one day! 👍

Great service, somehow I messed up, thinking I'd completed my order for a pizza as well as some sides. The confirmation came but just the sides. I called the store and they went above and beyond to resolve it, suggested I order the pizza as a collection and they would pair up the pizza with the sides delivery. Did this which didn't quite work but at no extra cost they sent the sides and pizza to my house in two separate cars, one after the other. Great customer service.

Pizza always fantastic and by far the best in Barry. We order every Friday.and never had a bad pizza.

Best pizza in town, if you can ask that Rob the pizza chef in there to make you the pizza, you can call it majestic. Also, he is a bit hot👀

Pizza swimming in grease. Tasteless and very little toppings, even tho we paid for extra.

Tried to order a pizza and they wouldn't take cash cos of covid,absolute joke,it's companies like this that will send us back to lockdown,none of the staff had masks or gloves on,joke shop

Got out of Barry island late, the team in papa’s where very nice and help us to a nice meal even if we made them close later. Smiles and great service.

As my regular pizza palace was closed I took the (extremely poor) decision to use Papa Johns in Barry. I ordered my pizza through the UberEats app at 20.02 and it advised my pizza was due to be delivered between 20.35-20.55. I kept an eye on it and when it was 20.45 it was showing as out for delivery and as I live about a mile away i thought it wouldn’t be long… how wrong was I! At 21.05 I called the store, just in case something had happened to the driver, maybe an accident, fallen into a portal to another dimension or alien abduction. It was, however none of these. My pizza, that was cooked and on the way to me actually wasn’t, the manager advised that it was very busy and that mine was still waiting to be made (though obviously to fiddle their Uber figures) they’d marked it as done. I requested it be cancelled, a as I wasn’t willing to wait 2HOURS for a pizza and they said they would and refund me…. THEY DIDN’T!!!! They actually, around an hour later marked it as having been delivered!!! I complained to Papa John’s directly via social media and they gave no f**ks as I’d purchased it through a 3rd party. Luckily Uber refunded me the following day. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SH*TSHOW

More tomato sauce than pizza. If I wanted a tomato sauce sandwich I’d make one. Seriously stop it it’s not how you make a pizza. 50% base, 10% sauce, 20% cheese & 20% toppings. Sort it out.

Over priced and the manager looks like he could do with a wash

Was served as soon as I entered. Very helpful ,sweet girl with multi coloured hair was very helpful and when I told her it was our first time she was excited for us and let us try all the dips. Gonna be getting our pizza from there from now on.

Wouldn't give them one star. I use Papa John's all the time and I've had a good experience before here. However on the 18/11/20 my pizza was delivered to the reception of my hotel and it was stone cold. Despite over 30 attempts to contact the shop no one would answer. Absolutely shocking, disgraceful boll0cks. Domino's is across the road. Their pizzas might not be as good but at least they come hot. Dogsh1t.👎

Imagine 'cheap and cheerful', but it's opposite day. For what you get, it's a bit of a ripoff. The crust for the pizza has decent texture, but the flavour is just not there. It's a bland vehicle to deliver a miserly amount of toppings. It's not even an exciting vehicle in the metaphor either. It'd be like someone bumping a Honda Civic of flavour into a wall at 5mph after buying it for twice its value at a dealership. Even the desserts and sides can't save it. They're just as expensive and utterly average. The staff are friendly at least. It's a shame they can't be allowed to cook anything more than the pre-assigned guff that the upper management of the franchise dictates. There's better choices to be had in Barry.

The food was lush and they called me to check where the address was before leaving so the driver didn't get lost and the food go cold. Really good service and delicious food!

Initially ordered a delivery on rugby day however the delivery time did not meet expectations and had to cancel the order the manager at the store offered me £10 credit due to the inconvenience however a few days later reordered and had an issue online where it didn't give the discount I contacted Louise the manager of the Barry store who told me not to worry she would sort this order with head office. We all make mistakes and mistakes do happen however the way Louise treated me when things went wrong was outstanding and therefore has kept us as a customer! P.s our order from you last night was spot on and delivered very quickly thank you

🙄 late and missing some of the order, rang and was told i have to wait 40 to 50 mins for remaining items to be delivered.

Nice pizza, good size, reasonable waiting time, gave me a free drink for waiting 15 mins.

Delivery quick and efficient pizza very greasy and flavourless, garlic dip awful, taste like (well not nice) chance here to add more flavour...and not favour quantity over quality..which includes chuking a pickled chilli on the side, on a scale of 10 for service 10 on same scale for quality and flavours....2...yuk!!! America may like but we don't .

Ordered pizzas at 7.15pm and told 35 mins. Still waiting at 8.50pm. 2 phone calls and promises of delivery. 2nd call, the driver had apparantely been on the road for a while. Didn't fancy late and cold pizzas, swiftly cancelled. Delivery man arrived with pizzas and apologised on behalf of Papa Johns that we had to turn away. No apology from the Manager.
