Just had an awful pizza from this place. Tasted like it could've been a day old. Dry, nowhere near enough sauce, it was like I could taste the lack of enthusiasm for their job that the person who made it has. You lot ruined a pizza for me, I take that pretty seriously. I hope you all have an equally disappointing evening.

Absolutely incompetent to say the least you place an order wait 40 minutes after calling 3 times he answered the 4 and he tells me they have no delivery drivers WHY DID YOU ACCEPT THE ORDER IN THE FIRST PLACE and then 1 hours past by the guy won’t even answer the phone what a great service by the way I still get to see that refund.

Very rude staff! When I had problems with delivery, they were not trying to help at all. As a result I didn’t have any food delivered despite having paid for a large pizza!

Called three times and was told my order was sent out- waited over two hours and did not get any food. Waste of time. Impossible to get staff to understand what I was saying.

I have ordered some food here expecting it to be very good but when I opened up the pizza, the crust and the shape of the pizza was very bad and uneven. The cut slices were awfully done in both ways which was not cut evenly and wasn’t cut properly, when trying to take slices out, the whole pizza was moving and the slice wasn’t torn off even though I was using two hands, though the taste of the food wasn’t bad and was alright but the toppings were falling off a lot which I don’t know if it is usual. Overall the delivery service was good even though it isn’t the company’s personal delivery, the quality was bad and the food was alright, I didn’t have a good experience with this papa johns.

They didnt pick up the phone. Gave me the wrong drink and I ordered another drink and that didn't come.

Usually good when I order from them but I think their quality control has gone down because the pizza I just ordered is pitiful and I’m very dissapointed as a long time customer. I ordered two selections of beef and onion and some jalapeno and I’ve got about 15 pieces of beef and 17 little onion bits scattered onto my pizza as if it was an afterthought. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m not sure if I’ll order from them again.

Ordered a large pizza, but they made a medium size pizza in a large box. Not pleasant at all.

Ordered a few pizzas here and should have read the other reviews first. It’s definitely more miss than hit. The pizza barely had any toppings and the crust was stale. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Outdated and incorrect prices advertised in store, one staff to serve and make pizzas. Very little hygiene standards observed, card machine was not working and they don’t take cash.. left disappointed again.

Ordered a pizza as was working a nightshift, an hour had past and I rang the store to see what was happening I was assured it was on the way and sorry for the delay they'd throw in a freebie and it was 15 minutes away. 25 minutes later tried to call them back and got no answer and food was never delivered. Requesting a refund for £33 odd poor service and lies wish I just ordered from dominos.

Very bad experience there is a guy(with bread)i think he is either a supervisor or manager he was very inconsiderate attitude to customers I've order my item online and according to the status the item was ready to collect however when i attended the shop I've asked my item is ready for collection he ignored me and walked away carried on what he was doing so rude i felt so disappointed it made me to call him out he responded and gave me my pizza by this time it was cold i had to discard the pizza very inconvenient and not the right attitude i think they should remove this and this not the first the is very rude and unapproachable

Delivery sent me the wrong pizza and forgot my drink, called them and was promised to be refunded, but never received. Then I called four times about it every time they said give it a few more days for the transaction to proceed but it has been a month still nothing. Gave up

I ordered Italian sausage and pepperoni, and a thin base pizza folded in half with next no filling, wings were served cold and a little under cooked for my liking. Wouldn’t be ordering again from this branch.

I can’t speak for anyone else but my experience tonight has been brilliant. Not only did they deliver our pizza but given a couple of situations they provided another pizza. Very good service, very nice pizza.

Put simply, the pizza is terrible. It tastes awful, with cheap products and a doughy, undercooked base. And it's so expensive! Just go to Pizza Pilgrims down the road.

Ordered pizzas, pizzas didn’t arrive now waiting refund. The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. The orders you have given are sent to an unknown address and you cannot find anyone to help. You can't get a refund and the employees are rude to you.

I’ve order here quite a few times and I would say it’s very hit or miss.The cheese pizza is either really hot and cheesy or stale and over baked.Sometimes the crust feels very tough and chewy but the jalapeño papa bites have always been delicious with the perfect kick of spicy and deliciously cheesy.The garlic pizza stick doesn’t taste very garlicky and the garden party pizza often taste dry and the vegetables don’t taste fresh and can sometimes be a bit slimy.The Oreo bites are really tasty,the cream cheese icing is delicious with the perfect Oreo crumb.Sometimes they do give a variety of different sauce pots which is great but usually they stick with the garlic and herb which can get quite boring.

ordered food, items didn't arrive, told driver who couldn't give a flying F, phoned restaurant who similarly couldn't give a flying F, asked 4 refund for the missing items, they said they would resend the items, explained we didnt require them anymore...... no refund still, papa johns and its employee's obviously don't give a flying F, terrible all over

Very poor customer service and management had a guest order missing called up and there said there have sent it called up 5 min later and there said there don’t have drivers it was the worst experience I have had with this store compare the market before you buy I will not recommend this store at all times and the food was not properly served

Walked into the shop and the person working there looked at me and didn’t even acknowledge myself and carrion talking to the other worker. Walked out as again no much of customer service as far as I experienced can’t even comment on the pizzas as I wasn’t served

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered 2 Large pizzas 2 sides & bottle of drink on the website, I tool about the pork and paid. When the food came the pizza had pork, I called papa John's in Hoxton to tell the the problem and the woman on the phone that said she was in charge, told me " we have a GLITCH on the website sometimes, but this is what came on our machine and you got that " so I said to her, your saying your self you have a Glitch on your system sometimes, so please replace my order with no pork. She said sorry I send you what the system told me to do can not do anything. I was upset my family couldn't eat And had to wait another hour for something else to arrive. This is not exceptable I paid £32.98 and got nothing from papa johns. literally my money went staight in the bin. Never Ever will be eating from PAPA JOHNS in HOXTON again.

Genuinely an awful place. Pizza is unsatisfactory and the service is terrible. It’s like they intentionally f up your order. If you bravely decide to order in the shop be prepared for the moodiest unfriendly service you’ve ever experienced and don’t even bother asking them about the offers/deals as they’ll treat you like some idiot child.

Trash pizza - ordered 2 pizza’s, 2 Sides and drink deal. Garlic bread showed up burnt, pizza is undercooked and the crusts are pretty raw, tots under cooked and they delivered the wrong dips and wrong drink. I called to query and the manager was very aggressive and called me a liar, until he realised he was in the wrong and kindly gave me a refund which I do appreciate but customer care was plain awful. I won’t be ordering from here again.

They accept the order online but when you go to pick up the delivery they said someone already picked the order,You can cancel the order.Very lazy people working here.They don’t want to make the order.Uber,Just eat,deliverro,Stuart should investigate it.They are wasting time. Took my niece for a pizza. The person taking my order picked his nose twice (right in front of me whilst entering my order on the till) he then scratched his beard and shouted at me to shut the door, even though it was open when I walked in and started talking in another language to his colleague right in front of myself and another customer as we waited for our pizza's (his colleague was sitting on the counter top like he was in a playground). I only paid for the order because the person taking the order was not the person making the pizza. Shame really, Papa Johns pizzas make tasty pizzas with freshly neaded dough but the lack of etiquette is really unforgiveable.

Soggy dough stingy on cheese and piled toppings into centre of pizza with half cooked boiled onion that dropped off all over in the box.

Yesterday on 28 August 2023 we went in the hoxton store to order pizza it was 11:30pm at night. As we entered the store they started shouting we closed please order online we will not take orders. I was an ex-pizza hut area manager and I know the rules very well. We understood and we ordered online. 2 XXL and one large pizza. We collected the order. We then asked them for dips. We just said " can we please get more dips brother" the person fair skinned and with beard replied " brother this is not charity shop" we got confused for the answer he Gave then said " you need to pay it's not free" We said that's fine we never said we wanted free or we won't pay or anything like that. I am going to write to the headoffice email as well as this is an abusive language used on work. They shouldn't be treating customers like that. To prove all this I have a voice recording on me for the conversation as I was speaking to someone and my call was recorded also this conversation was recorded. For more proof I guess the store had enough cctv to cover this. Please do needful actions.

Service has declined over the years, I love the food but unfortunately the people working there really don't care, ordered and paid for collection, Google says it's open but yet they are closed... Will I get a refund?

It says any large pizza 9,99£ but they charged me 11.75 and told me that they can’t refund

The worst service ever. The manager and all team are very rude but, mostly the manager. They are unprofessional and unhelpful also, there’s no hygiene when they manage the food. We could notice that they increase the price as well but the team don’t want admit that and don’t give an explanation. Don’t waste your time and money to get the pizza in this shop.

Used to come to this place years ago and have been treated with love and kindness back again by the manager Mr.Ahmed Fresh and delicious pizza as it is Papa john’s on the top of that great coustomer service makes it to love the place…

The Worst Shop Ever!!! Never in my life ordering food from you guys again. Disgusting customer service. Made me wait outside in the cold for 25 min waited for 1 hour 10min the food. No evidence of driver making his way neither the food being cooked or anything. Once finally reached them on the call they were not even letting me finish cutting the phone. Straight rude. It’s unfortunate to have such unprofessional workers. Even under pressure there should always be respect. Total disrespect I’m really disappointed!

We ordered double pepperoni, all meat and greek, BBQ wings and potatoes. All of them were great and delicious. I really recommend the pepperoni pizza. Best choice for a party night. Also, staff were friendly. (special thank to Ashad)

0 for 3. Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery, both were wrong. One was a half and half but was missing all the meat and the other was missing all the additions. Both boxes were labelled correctly, the pizzas were just made wrong. When I called in they offered a free pizza as an apology. This third pizza was also wrong and still missed the additions. At this point it's just carelessness at best. When asked they initially refused to correct the mistake and acted as though they were not liable to take responsibility for their own mistakes, quote "we can keep sending food out, the delivery is too much". Appalling attitude. As I didn't want to wait to eat again, I accepted an offer of sides that they eventually agreed to deliver. 1 of 4 items was correct and I had to work and chase to get it resolved.

We received this email saying that we were having 50% off spending over £20. I Went to the placeand asked for 2 XXL pizzas 11.99 advertised. They charged me £24, i told em to apply the discount and they said that the discount was already there even tho was advertised at 11.99 and they say that they have %50. Very terrible experience. I wont ever come back. And already let my friends know about this.

Placed an order late Monday, and received it promptly while the food was still hot. The delivery driver was wonderful and genuinely went out of his way to find the address, thank you so much!!!! It's lovely to see that there are kind people in this world :) . Sadly I didn't get his name, good people ought be rewarded. I hope papa johns will.

Awful. Order didn’t arrive for ages, so I rang them to check and was told (rudely) that the driver had called me and rang the bell, neither of which were true. The guy on the other end of the phone then said he would ‘send the driver out again’. About a minute later I got a call from the driver to say he was downstairs (he didn’t ring the bell). I walked down to meet him and he was incredibly rude. Needless to say the pizzas were freezing. All in all a terrible experience. Avoid at all costs.

If I could put minus 1 I would! Second time I have ordered a bulk order for my company (15 pizzas) and it has been over 1hr late. I ordered for 4pm and it is now 5.25pm with no deliver. Not only is there no delivery but the shop is no longer answering their phone so I am not even sure if the pizza is still on it's way. DO NOT ORDER if you are ordering more than 1 pizza. Very disappointing!!!

The individual who took our order was very patient with our painfully long deliberations. The medium pizza we ordered was inexpensive and unexpectedly satisfied 2 human appetites. They did the half one topping half other business for us which made us happy. Fantastic

Came here at 10pm. They had 3 people working and none of them paid any attention to me and tried taking my order. Being the polite person i am, i waited for nearly 20mins cause they all seemed busy 1 guy was on the phone, another was making the pizza and the other guy seemed like he wasnt interested. I decided to leave and go to the kebab shop across the road. staff at papa johns need proper training.
