Was very quick service, would only be able to give 4 stars as the cheese sticks were burnt to a crisp on the edges. Apart from that, lovely food!

First time visiting a papa John's and was not disappointed excellent pizza generous toppings friendly staff good quality ingredients would choose them over domino's every time only one improvement they could do and that's a little more cheese 🧀 😀

Stupid manager and staff reason for this review is staff and manager think they are run papa johns management that’s tha reason they close many of store in uk is management read this change your staff and manager for bad behaviour and bad service better to go Pizza Hut or domino’s they have good standards

Wish never order from here wish I just ordered from domino's worst pizza I've had in years ordered the all meats lol looked more like a cheese pizza trust deals are not worth getting stick with good quality domino's

Great pizza quality it was well cooked and well cutted. The pizza was hot. The delivery service is excellent. The desserts are damn good. The offers was good. I got buy one get of free. Timings are cool they deliver food till late nights.

Ordered a XXL Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza on the phone. Almost no wait time and the staff was very friendly. On to the actual food, pizza was very hot and delicious. As a meat eater, I am definitely coming again and those of you who are vegan or vegetarian, I do recommend you give this place a try. Food is relatively cheap, but the quality of food does compensate for the slight expense compared to other priced takeaways.

They do the best dough in st albans. I’ve been going here for over 18 years and they still are the best and reliable. Only feedback i have for them the quality of their cheese has gone down over the years. 18 years ago their pizza tasted like a piece of heavenly food but i can understand they need to cover the cost using cheaper ingredients but unfortunately this has an impact on quality

Horrible, staff standing by the bins next door smoking and then going in not even washing their hand’s going to make pizzas. Disgusting, will never buy again

I am very upset by their service today. I app was not working properly, and I ended up getting a vegan pizza with very little cheese. I asked the Papa John's for my money back, or a free pizza or a cash delivery, but they couldn't be bothered to even help. I feel like this is committing robbery and I will tell everyone to avoid having your money stolen by them. They leave customers dying of hunger for another hour, and it is ridiculous! I'll never order from them again. Hope they shut down for good! Farewell criminals!

Spent 100 papa john points only for the order to be cancelled because the account is a ‘fake’. Called up the store and a very rude woman answered saying “we all know it’s a fake” and refused to hear us out. Was fully expecting pizza night now im stuck with pasta night. Been done over by Italy twice in one year now.

Attempted to get pizza to pick up using a family account with rewards points. However the order was cancelled immediately so we called the branch and they told us, very rudely, that our account was fake and refused to serve us as well as threatening us with the police. We decided to go to the shop to see if we could talk to them but they locked us out of the shop 45 minutes before the supposed closing time. Not happy.

Ordered for delivery - 2 HOURS?! later still not delivered - called store & spoken to rudely by staff told if I wanted my delivery order to come get it as they have 1 driver and is raining ... (didnt know some british drizzle affected delivery) went and collected, again rude staff throws order on counter walked off without 2 words. "Better pizza better ingredients" should be changed to a true statement of "might get a pizza if we can be arsed, run out of ingredients and rude staff"

Ordered at 18:40 after two hours wait I collected in person no apology just they only have one driver not acceptable when spending over £20 and delivery charge

Order was taken only cash.. waited for 40 mints for collection.. wasted my time.. oven was not working and the guy keep asking me to waited. Poor service.

Slightly less warm than we would've liked, but still tasty.

I have ordered multiple times from Papa Johns and I never was this disappointed. First I've ordered a Chicken Club without onions. The delivery came and the pizza had onions on it and for some reason BBQ sauce as well. I called them up they have sent out another pizza and everything went smoothly. When I started to eat after a couple of slices I saw black hair cooked in on the pizza and this is horribly disgusting. I have called them up again talked with a man on the phone who did not understand what I was saying and after a while he just hung up the phone on me. What kind of employees are these? I am very disappointed and will never order from there again!

Since last 2 deliveries we get cold pizzas never made fuss out of it but today's issue and behavior of team & manager isn't acceptable. Duty Manager Mr. Karin need to learn good customer service. Very very poor service. Thinks he's doing a favour by offering discounts to already fully paid customers. Doesn't follow any work ethics. If this is how the managers behave can't complain about other team members. Delivered wrong pizza and not ready to accept / replace with right one. Definitely NOT EXPECTED FROM PAPA JOHNS...

My favourite Pizzas come from papa Johns. I have been using this brand for years and never had any issues till last night. I got 2 pizas from Hatfield branch and both wetr burnt. Was too tired to return them. Staff training issues i would guess.

My pizzas were always good, until they got my order wrong twice last yr and it took 1-2 hrs to send the right one. Since then, they would make no effort. Just rush it to prevent the same situation, but the dough, crust and toppings are either to chewy and burnt or the cheese is sloppy/wet. Its terrible and now just order from another account, because I don’t have this problem and the pizza is made properly

Honestly, not good at all. Firstly, they called me to tell me no vegan nuggets. Okay, fine I can take that loss. The man kept offering me chicken nuggets or chocolate? I kept telling him I'm vegan but he still was offering. Tots were NOT fully cooked. Arrived cold on inside. I am 99% sure there is a mix of real cheese with the vegan cheese. HAIR in tots and 2 hairs on one pizza. I understand hair is not uncommon but 3 is too much. I did NOT enjoy at all and disappointed. I would call them, but never have a good experience calling them as they either not answer or they just offer replacement. Why would I want a replacement from a place I'm not happy with? Unlikely to get a refund. Will write an email and hope for response.

Try to avoid this store. Didn't had the experience and enjoyment with my order today. It took 50 minutes to deliver, out of which 30 minutes showing status as "CHECKING AND CUTTING", for which I was told; It's "system issue". Obviousely it was barely warm when delivered, despite warning that it won't be hot if out of oven for long. Didn't wanted to put extra burden on the outlet in this pandemic time, so didn't returned. But check and keep in mind when ordering from this store. Update 1: I've been sent £5 gift code which can be used at next order. Nice gesture.

BBQ chicken pizza had tomato instead of BBQ sauce and cheese was burnt - also didn’t have any other toppings as advertised. Chicken was still partially frozen so had to throw away. Wrong drink given and the potato tots were stone cold. Delivery driver also threw the pizza at us rather than handing it? Seemed in a very bad mood, giving us a dirty look and slamming his car door (we heard inside our house) Avoid!

Wrong drink received, ‘BBQ chicken’ pizza had missing toppings, and normal tomato sauce rather than bbq. Disappointed

I will save you time and money, don't try any of the pizza place in Hatfield. There is a reason why they always have a discount its because the pizza is bad. Just buy a frozen pizza from Asda it is way better.

I always was satisfied with Papa John’s pizzas, would regularly order but this was the last time I ordered from Papa John’s ... never order again. My Chicken Club pizza is full of onions and no meat. I found once piece of bacon and couple pieces of chicken, the edges had too much bread ... the other pizza - BBQ Texas Chicken pizza had a weird taste. Feels like pizzas were not cooked enough. 3 of us normally finish 2 XXL pizzas but this time we had to throw half of them away. Will not order again.

Five stars for a fantastic gluten free experience...I had given up ever eating a good gluten free pizza ever again from a high street purveyor of the Italian dream, but these guys came up with the goods...I shall return...

Over 30 minutes late for a team lunch. Was told the driver had already left, only to call back 10 minutes later and speak with someone else who told me the driver would be leaving shortly. Wouldn't use again

Just ordered a vegan pizza and they used their normal cheese! Obviously a mistake but I can’t consume dairy and I didn’t realise until I’d finished a slice that it was different to normal! I also wasn’t given my dip. I order from here weekly so very disappointed and discouraged.

A good papa John's. The staff here are always lovely, the pizzas are good and they're open late. Ticks all the boxes for a papa John's. Don't get me wrong, it's still papa John's, the pizza isnt amazing but if you're after papa John's this is definitely a good one! Would be 5 star if finding parking here was always easy but can sometimes be an issue depending on time of day

After some of the bad reviews I wasn't sure if ordering from here would be a good idea but, my pizza was good! I enjoyed it! Nice and hot with quite quick delivery. Shame there was no signature pepper but that’s a very minor detail.

Good pizza love it but it takes over 5 minutes or 3-5 phone calls for them to pick up.

I love the food don’t get me wrong but it’s always 50/50 chance that I have to wait for over an hour for my food! I could have gone there myself walked home and eaten! Some days I get lucky and some I don’t. Then I call up asking where it is to only get a hardly understandable mumble from them blaming the driver but yet the food turns up piping hot. Get your delivery sorted please. I don’t know weather it’s cos I order from just eat or what but this isn’t on.

Surprisingly mediocre. I don't often comment on fast food venues, but when I do, I do make sure they are actually meh. Meh! not only is the papa john site mildly sad, so too is the delivery service for this hatfield branch. I am not really mad, just ' I R Disappointment'. If you are hungry, go elsewhere.

Warning- identity theft. As a revenge for a bad feedback stuff has signed us up for a complete saver scheme that now costs me £15 a month. Police is getting involved

Restaurant is really hit or miss. Had delicious pizzas delivered previously but this time the pizza was slightly overcooked and was cold. The sides were also cold. Waited nearly an hour for food to be delivered.

Waited over an hour for my pizza to arrive. When I rang up asking what was happing they said they had a sudden rush of orders and it was round the corner be 10, 15 mins. I live 5 minutes away. Poor service
