Ordered/paid online to collect. Drove half hour to get there to be told they weren't taking online orders. Asked why they still took my money and guy muttered something about the system not working anymore. Didn't take card either so went home empty handed.

Pizza was cooked, then it took 15 minutes from it being “quality checked and sliced” to then receive a cancellation from uber delivery and then a reschedule confirmation. Pizza arrived luke warm. I called twice and guy assured me I wouldn’t receive a cold pizza. He lied, the store is less than 7 minutes from my place of work. From ordering online and order confirmation it took 48 minutes to arrive. The “quality seal” was also broken.

Used to use papa johns alot before it closed and reopened won't be going back again ..... disappointed in the quality this was suppose to be a papadias philly cheesestreak by the picture provided you can see its nothing off the sort

I had an issue with my Papa Johns pizza last night from the Taunton branch - they had forgotten to add the bbq base sauce to the pizza!! I tried getting through on the phone for over 20 minutes with no answer so phoned the Bridgwater store to explain my issue and that I couldn’t get through. The pleasant lady on the phone spoke to her manager (in the background). He was very rude and said he “wasn’t interested as it’s not his store”. It seems it’s all about the profits these days not the reputation of the brand. Papa John’s is the brand and all in all it’s fallen well below par. Tasteless over salted pizza with arrogant/rude managers who don’t know basic customer service if it slapped them in the face. Fresh, made to order supermarket options are the way forward…and about a fifth of the price!!

Waited for months for them to reopen. But when we ordered today the food was shocking. Well over cooked more like a biscuit than a pizza. And it was cold. No dips as ordered but when we opened the cookie for desert which was burnt! someone had put the sauces in with the dessert. Very disappointed.

First and last time ordering from papa johns. Starter was stuck on the parchment paper which just crumbled, the pizza didn't taste that nice the base and crust tasted like the pizza pans needed a really good clean, the base sauce was burnt in certain parts of the pizza and left a horrid taste in your mouth that we ended up binning most of it. Won't be wasting my money here again

A friend told me he thinks Papa John's is better than Domino's, so I thought I'd give this Papa John's a go; one trip to this Papa John's left me thinking my friend had lost the plot. I ordered a standard base pizza and It was awfully soggy and the taste was very so-so, akin to what you'd expect from a £5 local independent pizza place. A truly dissapointing experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews, as I believe in spreading positivity, but I'm sorry to say I'll be heading to Dominos in town instead of heading here again.

Absolutely shocking ordered at 8pm on just eat never received ordered food never answered phone in over a hour of constant calling Absolutely discusted shall be calling head office Monday

Normally always go for papa johns but this store in particularly makes very low quality pizza! Bought at least 10-12 times over the past 2 years or so since its been open and only the first month of its opening was a quality pizza, will never be buying from this branch again. Always a disappointment.

5 STARS. We had vegan works, gluten free vegan garden party and vegan chili freak. Excellent quality and taste. Just in time.

Is what it is really, eager but inadequate service, but what should be expected from a pizza pick up only establishment.

Normally we’ve our pizza from here, but recently it’s gone a bit down hill. We’ve had several pizzas now which were not up to the usual standards. Tonight’s was sent back it was so bad. Such as shame, as when they get it right every couple of months it’s very good! Still better than dominoes, but too expensive for what we have recently received.

Delivered 1hour 10 minutes after online order, stone cold, unable to arrange a refund straight away, told to use online complaints procedure to obtain a refund. Will not recommend or use this outlet in future.

Worst pizza I have had in my life I used to like papa johns this was awful only finished 2 slices

A pretty damn good meal! Ordered a medium Amarillo sauce base with cheese, grilled chicken, olives and mushrooms. The toppings were well spaced with a decent amount of cheese to sauce. The crust was cooked to near perfection, with just a small amount undercooked deep within the crust. The toppings were generous for single portions and the toppings held together well when eating. Slices were cut to a good evenness, but not quite equal. I ordered some Bee Stings which were dough twists, filled with red chillies, pepperoni, cheese and topped with honey. They were delicious and well packed. The dough was pretty well raised and baked throughout. Honey was a little too liberal for my liking, but as standard, pretty damn nice! (Tasted delicious even microwaved the next day for 20 seconds!!) Overall, the food was great! The food was quite hot, but borderline warm. Hotter would be better, especially as it is close to my residence. It had clearly been sat on a hot plate for 5-10mins pre-delivery, but it was moist and hot none the less. Compared to my local Dominoes, the food was better prepared, healthier toppings, faster delivery and a far greater quality. Both are delicious, but Papa certainly has the edge across all areas. I would recommend asking for a Garlic and Herb dip, as the Special Garlic sauce is absolutely revolting!!! But the latter is mind blowingly delicious! Customer service was great. I had an issue where ordering online took my payment twice, but this was refunded immediately. The girl over the phone directed me to where I needed to go confidently and accurately. Very helpful and 5* phone mannerisms. Rating a 4 star, as the food needed to be hotter, and the dough needed to be docked a little better, allowing a better crust bake and rise. Bar that, it was sensational. I would highly recommend for solo, family or even party event food ordering.

My Husband went in to grab a pizza for me on our way back home from Cornwall. We were shattered and being Celiac it’s hard to find gluten free food on the go. The staff were SO helpful and double checked everything without us even having to ask! The food was delicious too, thank you so much! 😊

Excellent service (we ordered and collected on site), very polite and friendly. Pizzas were very good too - ingredients were fresh, not greasy with good flavours. Place looked very clean.

It's a very good place for pizza, crusts are crispy, and toppings are tasteful. Also, very short wait times so your not starving f0r too long.

Shocking ! can't order and them bring it out to me. but they will deliver to an address. I'm a delivery driver and 200miles out. I don't see the difference in letting me call the order in and bringing it out. COVID-19 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pizzas were poor quality & taste and they completely ignored the topping changes I'd requested.

Worst pizza around. Dough is so chewy I’ve never had anything like it. Dry, tasteless food. Tater tots undercooked, and stuck to the box. Can get better pizza from the freezer in Iceland

Service inside is a bit slow, but other than that, decent takeaway pizza. A bit less greasy if you get put off of Dominoes by that. A slightly bigger menu too.

Fantastic pizzas. Love how there's so many vegan choices. The staff always seem happy and helpful. Highly recommended.

DO NOT ORDER IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES!!! Received an order labelled as VEGAN Marmite Scrolls and inside was something that was not marmite but potentially cheese and hotdog. Rang the store spoke to a kitchen worker (the most senior person there) and they said it was fine to sue them! I have a dairy allergy and he suggested that I go to hospital!!! I asked him if he knew about food allergies and he said no, not much!!!! Luckily my allergy is not anaphylactic but god help anyone who is! He couldn't tell me what it was I had eaten because he couldn't see it!

The pizza itself is very nice definitely worth the money but it’s takes ages to be done and the hygiene of the staff isn’t acceptable while I was sat waiting for my pizza to be maid some of the staff were messing around and most of the girl have long hair I don’t know why they don’t wear the little blue hats to keep the hair away as I was worried that I will find some hair in my pizza and also one of the girls was ill and she kept sneezing when she was making the pizzas not very impressed with that

Nice food!! be careful when ordering online though- it's very easy to get caught up half way through your order into singing up for some complete savings member ship thing- I didn't really understand I just thought it was all part of something they did themselves when ordering a pizza through them then found this company was taking £15per month but I had no idea that was what I was singing up for.

I like it. It's loaded with toppings. A bit more expensive, but it comes with quality.

Amazing food but my god the wait is ridiculous. I would think it has to be an average of 30-45 mins for pick up. I’ve sat down and eaten two courses faster.

What a joke . Went to the store placed my order with one member of staff and then told to queue up to pay. Waited patiently for 40 mins and then another member of staff informed us that one oven was down and they were using the other oven for on line orders so all the customers in the shop had their orders cancelled . What brilliant customer relations. Will not bother to go here again. If I was anyone else and you are desperate for one of their pizzas then order on line as this is given priority over people who visit the store A very angry EX customer

Hmmm where to start. Offers on website exclusive to misleading cool methinks go old school ring before making a trip. After ringing for 5 mins hang up check number and opening ring again after nearly 5mins get close to hanging up and giving up. Phone was answered by obviously a disinterested female teenager. After a very pushed syrly exchange. Nope offers are for delivery and we are too busy to deliver ok how long a wait for collection 60-80 mins. Seriously I could go buy one go home heat oven have a shower put pizza in wash car and eat pizza in that time. Hmmm good service and fast food DON'T GO PAPA JOHN'S BRIDGWATER drive to Taunton one instead more polite and service quicker!
