The food just hasn’t arrived. And I requested a partial refund, but when I phoned to follow up, the restaurant said they couldn’t do anything. I’m starving and livid.

I ordered via Just Eat. The food never arrived. I phoned to ask for my money back and they refused. I am starving and angry.

I ordered 3 pizza's from the App - the delivery never came so called to enquire what was happening, they said they had "NO DOUGH LEFT" and offered a credit for a free pizza. As I don't live in the UK, I said I wanted a refund, but that seemed to fall on deaf ears. After numerous emails asking for my money back they STILL won't refund my money. Even though they clearly admit they were sorry for the problem, they will only offer a free pizza. I have to say I've never used Papa Johns before, and I will never be using them again. Customer service is appalling, and to make up some rubbish that you have no dough left is laughable. If they do this to everyone, they're keeping money that doesn't belong to them! If we all just walk away and give up, they're onto a huge money scam

Really enjoyed this , this time , been disappointed in the past , but everything was great on this occasion . Food was hot and tasty , delivered fast , the tomato & Herb dips are really nice , the deal for what i had was reasonably priced . i do not like potato tots tho , they taste horrible when they get cold , would prefer a option for chips

Absolutley horrible. Waited 1 1/2 hours for delivery. Everything was cold and even when warmed up tasted horrible! Do not buy food from here, you can easily do better with an Aldi pizza.

Delay in Delivery to soham it will take more than an hour. So no point of ordering again from here. Now it’s over one hour but still we didn’t receive the order yet.

I stayed in Ely during a business trip and this was next to my flat. There were times when all other places are closed and I found that this is a Great spot for late night pizza, service was quick and the employee is very helpful. Would come back again no doubt.

I felt I had to write a review because I know the ratings here aren’t so good and want to share my thoughts. In keeping with what others having said, in the past I have known the delivery to take a very long time (up to 2hrs). Despite this, I come back to Papa Johns because the food is by far the best out of all pizza delivery options in my opinion (lots of good options for dietary requirements) and I always get exactly what I’ve ordered, no problems like with other takeaways. Having said this, customer service has also really improved recently. A few weeks ago my food came within about 15-20 mins. Most recently it did take an hour and I had anticipated this so didn’t mind, but I got an email apologising for the wait and giving me a code for a free pizza! Thanks Papa Johns :)

Customer service is shocking! My Wife ordered a stuff crust pizza, this pizza arrived and was a strange non tasting cheese.. we then called the store and they mentioned that they had run out of normal cheese so gave her vegan cheese (why wasn’t we notified before delivery) they then said they will give us a free stuffed crust pizza next time. We have just called and spoke to someone and he basically said there is no way we will be getting a free stuffed crust pizza? Shocking!

2nd time ordered across a year and messed it up yet again. 1st time took my order and money online and they never delivered, they then randomly tried to redeliver the next night at 11pm waking whole house up including my baby. This time ordered a pizza, which actually arrive this time, but wrong toppings on it even though the label was correct. man on phone acted like its my fault, customer service to rectify is just as bad as the pizza. tried twice messed up twice so wont be going here again.

Disgusting customer service. They should be ashasmed of themselves for the shitshow they are running there. Ordered food at 6pm on a Thursday and it takes over two hours to arrive, with nothing more than a “sorry”. This place is a genuine disgrace and really need to reevaluate what they are doing with their lives.

I rang Papa Johns the person who pick up the phone was rude and said he didn’t have my order and after arguing with him and gave him my order, reference number, my address and my telephone number and my name he found the order and said his driver will be with me, I will not use papa John’s again as the service and food was really bad.

Orderd a brownie and ice cream it had been an hour called up and the man on the phone was very rude. They said it takes 40-45. Maximum for delivery but still not Received it an hour later. Not impressed Staff are rude and not on time.

Cannot fault Papa Johns Ely. The pizza is always great and consistent whenever I go throughout the year. I always go in and collect, normally weekday lunchtimes. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.

We ordered a pizza and a cookie and we waited for it to be delivered. It was extremely late, so was about to ring when I noticed the pizza had been left at my back door. I rang up to ask why it had been left at my back door and it was cold, The man on the phone said the driver had tried to ring the phone number and had knocked on my front door and my back door, so just left it by my back door, I said that the driver had not rang my phone or knocked on my front door and I was told that the drivers do not lie, so I replied with, well I am telling you that they do. I got a response of well what would you like me to do. Well I would like you to resend the order and I got the response of the conversation above and when I informed them that I had cctv and that I wanted the order resent, I got told, we will resend the pizza and that's it. Well they resent the pizza and my husband had returned from work and was in his van on the driveway and the delivery driver said, I have a pizza for number 12 and he was busy in his van, so asked her to go to the front door and she said, oh how do I get to the front door but it was the same delivery driver, but according the man on the telephone she had already tried my front door, so why didn't see know where my front door was? Absolute rubbish Very bad customer service , absolutely disgusting way to speak to someone.

Food was an hour and a half late, rejected a refund and told hope we enjoyed our food which was cold.

Don't usually have an issue, however tonight we ordered at 8pm. 9.30pm still nothing, order not updated online, called 8 times, no answer so my partner drove to store. As he arrived the driver called to say he couldn't find the address. When it turned up, it all looked pathetic, hardly any cheese, Limited pepperoni and added chicken I didn't want. The oreo bites were 1/3 of the size that they have previously been. Partner ordered extra cheese, this was clearly missing, hardly any stuffing in the "stuffed crust" and it wasn't fully cooked. Won't be ordering again.

Food was delivered 80 minutes after ordering when they had stated a 25-40 minute wait. The problem was they stated it had been delivered at the correct time, only for it to be a further 30 minutes late. No one answers the phone so you can't even check if it's gone missing or just late. When it finally did arrive, the pizza was wrong. Will mot be ordering again. In the end we drove the pizza back only to be told we now have to email head office for a refund...

Ordered scheduled food for 7:15pm was delivered half hour late, cold, and wasn't even cut properly

1 hour 30 minutes in total 20 minutes after it was ordered I had a message to say it was on its way so it must have been in the drivers car for 1 hour

Second time that the order has been messed up/missed until I've called to chase them on delivery. This time the pizzas were not great, greasy, stodgy, bland and there was so much bbq sauce I could barely detect the pizza. Will not be returning, try one of the others....any of the others.

Useless, messed up the order twice, refused to refund for kissing products. Gave me an email for customer service as shop doesn't do refunds but customer service would. Got ignored all 3 times I've emailed

Order extra dip and like so many times before just don't deliver it. I don't care if it's only a dip it's the principle IV paid for something I want it. I ring them up oh we ran out 2 days ago, so why not call me and let me know that as I had to put my number down on the order. I ask for the manager as they won't refund me, he's not here then all of a sudden I get passed on to manager. It's just email here if you have a problem. This branch is by far the worst run IV ever seen its the stupid leading the idiotic. I'll do you a favour go to dominos Instead and leave this pathetic place well clear!

I can see why they have such a bad review I had to call them twice to see what was going on and I was told that the delivery driver is in Sutton and he's busy with another delivery Sutton is a very small village so how is that possible

The food whilst ok, I ordered ice cream and got a fudge brownie, which was overcooked and not what I ordered. When I rang they said they tried to call me, no missed call or explanation.

When we first started ordering from this branch 3 years prior the delivery was great and quick. The food came warm and it was tasty. Unfortunately, the service and especially delivery has been less then satisfactory. Now as of our order today and previous orders; delivery takes an hour or longer even though they mark it as delivered it can take an additional hour to arrive after it's been marked as delivered. Which is ridiculous since we are within a 10 minute drive from the facility; more accurately less than 10 minutes as it is just a mile radius from our home. Tonight the order was accepted at 18:16 ; it was marked as DELIVERED at 19:23 and we called at 19:25 because we DID NOT have our order even though it was marked as delivered. We were informed the order was on it's way. 19:52 my husband is on the phone with the branch to check on the order AGAIN. Once again they said the order was on its way. I'm writing this review in real time and awaiting the delivery so I can mark its arrival time. 19:57 still no food. Oh wow....over two hours after placing the order. 20:12 the delivery driver calls to ask for the address. Food has finally arrived at 20:16 on the dot. Utterly ridiculous that it took 2 hours for the food to arrive.

Ordered two pizzas, two sides, one drink, and an extra dip. The 7up zero was not provided to the driver or substituted, and both pizzas were specifically ordered with onions only to have none. The food did arrive hot and in about 40 minutes. The additional garlic and herb dip was also missing. Overall very disappointing, I would have expected to at least be compensated for missing items. EDIT FROM 1 STAR: The soda was delivered the next evening, without any further contact with the store, which is appreciated.

Tried a couple of times, terrible wait (over an hour both times, once was a week day afternoon). Food almost inedible with missing toppings. Head office complaints with them is also a joke. AVOID.

Late food, missing items. Call to check up on order took 10mins to answer the phone and then when questioning the driver about the missing items he said call the shop and of course they now will not answer the phone atal. Shocking customer service!!!!
