Papa John's Pizza in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Order here every other week food is always consistent plenty of toppings Never had any issues expet once whitch the restraint sorted out for me

Placed an order at 7pm two phone calls hour and half later food arrives stone cold , garlic bread was like a rock pizza base gooey , rang the shop back to tell me it couldn’t be cold it was straight out of oven for delivery, he actually argued that it couldn’t be cold an ice berg had more warmth to it , absolutely waste of time and money

Lots of improvement noted lately. Love their pizza, served hot and timely

We always normally have nice food from here in the week ,we wont be going back there on a Sunday again food was awful .We was there 14.10 pm the only ones in shop,when we got home the pizza was very thin and dry and tot pops were very dry and burnt very unhappy with food this time and felt we were putting the girl out ordering our food she was very miserable didnt even smile

My 2 pizzas took an hour to arrive. I consider this to be a long time when I live a 5 min drive away. One pizza is fine but the other is like slop, try and pick a slice up and the topping is just sliding off. Wouldn't order here again.

45 minutes after the app said it was delivered my pizza and sides turned up. All cold and the pizza dough was still raw. All of it inedible. Terrible.

Great pizzas and some great offers, fast service and friendly staff when instore. Only one complaint the garlic sauce is just a bit too buttery but otherwise great fast food.

Ordered food yesterday evening..bn on the loo all morning....so some disgusting person hasn't washed ther hands or very poor hygiene..never again...ruined my weekend..bith in bed..

The Manager of this store is an absolute colossal plonker. A bully to young employees who is blinded by his wealth. No compassion whatsoever, no leadership material. Probably trash is more useful than this Manager. Its a bit foolish to bully your own employees considering it's the 21st century, where standards have improved and of course, the internet will not hesitate to cancel you for your disgusting treatment to your own employees...

We have ordered 3 times in the last 4 weeks every time there has been something wrong with our food either the wrong pizza has arrived or on collection the pizza has been wrong again, tonight it was wrong toppings again on our 2 pizzas the onions on the pizza tasted stale overall it was awful, we won’t be ordering again from papa johns instead we will now use dominoes pizza.

Fast service, friendly and helpful staff and some good offers especially on Wednesdays.

ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. Having ordered 4 times, 2 deliveries were so late (an hour to arrive) they offered a discount off the next order. One delivery still took 45 minutes to arrive. The final delivery didn't arrive even though the website said it had been delivered. Attempts to telephone resulted in a message, "This number cannot accept calls." Refund requested. Only ordered the 4th time because the kids asked me to. I'm left with 2 very disappointed, very angry children. One star because zero stars isn't allowed. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL OUTLET.

Really wasn’t great. Came quickly enough but the pizza wasn’t nice, edible but not nice. Didn’t bring my dip and drink I paid for. Definitely not worth the £30 I paid. - dominos next time!

This place is a bit of a clown show, pizza turned up and had been stored on it's side, so half of it was complete mush. Ordered a box of 4 Magnums, was given 2 seperate ones instead of a box, and the lady delivering said she had thrown in the second as a favour because the delivery was late, didn't understand what she was on about until she had left. So got half a pizza and half the icecream I ordered. Have ordered a pizza previously with extra mushroom, and the only thing on it was mushroom, yeah so just badly managed so beware.

Worst pizza in aberdare not cooked literally looked like they had kicked it to the front door . Took forever to arrive considering it wasn’t even cooked, do not recommend.

We waited two hours for 2 pizzas and when they got here they where ice cold. Not very impressed and will not be ordering from here again

Ordered for delivery at 20:44, order was confirmed then at 20:54 I had a text and email saying the order was cancelled. Called the store but got no answer, tried ordering again and the store was closed.

Great deals to be had but of late the pizza's haven't been very tasty

I went in to order a few large pizzas last night , I asked if they could replace tomato sauce on one of them with garlic butter to have a large garlic pizza and cheese , they said NO , I ordered a small garlic pizza with cheese , I have been given a garlic pizza with no cheese....I ordered a xxl meat feast and never mentioned bbq sauce and they made it with bbq sauce....worst place they do not listen to customers they just sell you whatever they want , 30£ order all messed up , they should be ashamed...Will never return and for someone that wants to spend 30£ every few days , take your money elsewhere as they don't respect customers... I wanted to go back but I had guests at the house and they were hungry we had to eat as it is...

Not very understanding on the phone.. Keep asking you to repeat or they say I'm not sure. Why stop the green chilli at the side

I really enjoy eating papa john's, Food has always been tasty, the marmite scrolls are awsome with the pepperoni pizza lovley, but a little disappointed with the bee sting, it wasnt spicy enough, but very tasty. And disappointed that they dont do the garlic knots anymore or at the moment, Staff lovley and friendly, Untill next time!......

Placed a large advance order for a birthday, I was not disappointed. The staff were very helpful, they happily assisted me in making sure the order was correct and met all the differing dietary needs. The food was ready when I arrived to pick it up, and even after a 20 minute drive home, the food was piping hot when opened. The sides, pizzas and desserts were all delicious, and more than we could eat. I will happily place another order, large or small.

Papa johns in aberdare.. delivered me the wrong 2 pizzas, added a side on and charged me. When i rang the manager she informed me that i would drive down to the shop for a refund and could i take the pizza back.. um no i cant keep ur refund and i will never return to ur shop. #dominoespizza it is 😂

Waiting times are rediclous !!!! considering when we asked an hour after we put our food order in how long it was going to be. The women on the phone said she would ring the driver then informed us it was going to take another 10 - 15 minutes. 20 minutes went buy still no food so rang back the shop they said the delivery driver got lost on the last order and shouldnt be long. 15 minutes later we recieved cold food. Then we asked the delivery driver how long he has had the delivery in the car for he said 10 minutes 😂😂 will not be buying from this pappa John's again. Will definatly go to another chain.

Love Papa John's pizza. Always have a great pizza from them, love the special garlic dip too... All hail Papa John...

Vile. I am not one to leave bad reviews for businesses usually, but this was almost inedible. The "pizza dough" tested and smelt stale with a distinctive aroma of cardboard when ordered supposedly "fresh". Was even worse when warmed up. The "garlic and cheese" sides were the same dough as the pizza with no hint of garlic. Hot chicken wings were ok to eat but looked like they'd had the sauce just splattered over them. I understand this is a franchise and I can appreciate the need to keep costs down, but this was something else, it was easily one of the worst examples of takeaway food I can ever remember eating.

Fast delivery and food piping hot when arrived.

Wedges were hard in the middle and cold, not cooked tidy. Didn't think much of the pizza either! The "special garlic sauce" is revolting. Had to give one star or I couldn't post this!

Bloody Ridiculous! I’ve been waiting 1hr for my damn pizza, and as I am writing it still hasn’t arrived! I haven’t Eaten since 4PM and I am Starving! Hurry up Papa Johns!! Also Upgrade you’d pizza oven as pizza always goes cold by the 4th Slice!!!!

Had a pizza here just before Christmas. I normally have Dominoes but find them stodgy and cheap tasting. The pizza I had from pappa was lovely, tasted like restaurant quality. A few days later we had a load of guests so i ordered a load of pizza from pappa again. This time is was no better if not worse than dominoes. It was stodgy and the Hawaiian had virtually no ham. In all Rubbish for nearly £60 worth of food.

Always have a good experience here, the staff are friendly, even willing to add a vegan cheese to my pizza that I had purchased from one of the large supermarkets. I've never had delivery as I live outside the delivery area, but the service I have received in store has always been great. The one time they got my order slightly wrong (didn't add mushrooms) they gave me a large Pepsi as compensation. To the reviewer who had to wait twenty five minutes for a delivered pizza, do you not understand pizzas have to be cooked before they leave the store?

Ordered for 18:00 arrived at 18:25 live less than a 5 minute drive away from the shop so little disappointed by the delay. Wedges were cold and a little under cooked. Pizza was nice but alot more spicy than the Domino's equivalent which was a surprise and could have done with a bit more cheese. Overall not happy with my first experience and unsure if I'll order from there again.
