Papa John's in Oadby and Wigston

I recently ordered delivery and I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the pizza and the efficiency of their delivery service. Firstly, the pizza itself was fantastic. Despite being delivered, it arrived piping hot and fresh, with all the toppings perfectly intact. The crust was just the right balance of crispy and chewy, and the cheese was beautifully melted.

Friendly staff, hot and delicious pizza! The Garden party pizza and chicken poppers were excellent choices.

We found mould in the base of the pizza. I called the Oadby Papa Johns, they said they'd call me back. They haven't bothered calling me, so I'll be in touch with Leicestershire Food and Hygiene.

This store used to give you massive crusts as a cost cutting technique. They have stopped doing this, however, you may want to take a magnifying glass with you if you want to see the toppings!! They have got rid of the short female manager that was miserable and rude. Close the store, brings the brand down

Shocking!!! (Oadby branch Leicester Leicestershire) Was my go too pizza place wouldn’t go there now even if was free. Rude and disrespectful shocking service from all including management. Cold food poor quality and not even right toppings. Had delivery driver shout and throw pizza at me because he was stressed he been to the wrong house twice and it’s all my fault. Well, and truly, and oddly a disgrace.

I ordered a pizza and 2 sides and over 1 hour later the order still was not on the way. I called the store and they were disgustingly rude and said they do not care and that the driver will leave after 10 minutes. After waiting for over an hour and half it still didn't come. When it came after 2 hours it was freezing cold! Avoid this papa johns at all cost and the staff/ lady on the phone should be fired

I'm a regular pizza eater and the pizza I ate from the Oadby branch was very poor, tasteless and unappealing to the eye. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to it all day.

The toppings were barely there and what was visable was very small pieces, uneven distribution of toppings. The stuffed crust cheese and Pepperoni was very poor in taste. The BBQ base sauce was unevenly spread out on pizza base. Very very disapointed. We usually have dominoes and I now regret ordering your pizza. I will not order again. Back to dominoes for us !

Had a pizza from here on Friday night and my other half has been I’ll for his pizza after he eat it and he’s been on the sofa with stomach ache, cramping feeling sick

Rude!!! Awful over cooked pizza. Terribly rude Manager, no customer service skills whatsoever, argued with me that pizza left the oven hot and not overcooked, by the time I received it pretty much cold, crust was inedible, meat was crunchy. Asked for a refund but was told that because more than two pieces had been eaten then no refund would be given??? Despicable way to run a business. Sallyann

First accepted order, then cancelled after 20 mins stating outside of delivery area. If it was outside of the delivery area, the order shouldn’t have been accepted and I would hate gladly place an order elsewhere. Customer service improvement much needed.

HIT OUR CAR, THEN TRIED TO LEAVE THE SCENE.... Yes, seriously, the driver side swiped our car because he turned too late at the top of the T- junction and actually hit our empty, parked car! He then proceeded to deliver our pizza as if NOTHING HAPPENED, and tried to leave. Our Neighbour caught him! Later we could see it on our doorbell footage and gave that to the insurance company. But it gets WORSE.... so then we start the process of his insurance handling the claim, and then he suddenly withdraws it! So now WE had to pay our policy excess as otherwise we wouldn't know if our car was safe to drive with our children in it! Absolutely AWFUL-- and I equally blame Papa Johns as they took NO responsibility for their 'on the clock' driver who hit a PARKED car (no one inside it), who then tried to leave the scene of the accident! No doubt he is still employed by them, and has suffered NO CONSEQUNCES, only us-- --Update-- may 2022 The man who hit our car still hasn't paid so now it's been given to a solicitor whose going to represent us at small claims court. Will update as required... And by the way, great job hiring a completely unethical individual PAPA JOHN'S!

Disgusting hair cooked into the pizza

I paid 7.99 for a large pizza collection only and it was well worth it. A few times I've tried to take advantage of deals that I get text to my phone but they never give you what the offer is on the text so I rang the shop and they're useless no help and today when I was in the shop ordering my £7.99 pizza it was obvious that the people who work there have no people skills whatsoever they look at you with blank faces when you order I don't think they speak very good English to be fair but if that's the case why have them taking orders ?

Order never turned up. Rang 3 times over the course of the week with promises that the manager would call me back. Never did. On the last call I was told manager is on holiday for a month! Find it hard to believe a whole store operates for a month without a manager. Still waiting for my £45. Not happy, shocking customer service

Customer service is appallingly rude. Triggered several anxiety attacks for me after speaking to the lady at Oadby's shop. Do not call this store.

The food was left on the front door for 30 mins and I had no notification to say it was outside so it was freezing when I actually got my food.

It was really nice but too pricey for my budget. It was a Sunday treat because I was waiting for someone to fix my car and it was open and we had no food in. We have a vegan in our house hold and she enjoyed the treats and pizza and there was a good variety. If it was cheaper I would shop there often

Phoned up and was told the order wasn’t received, was meant to be arriving at 20:00 but arrived 21:25, the food was lovely but was a bit disappointed by the late time

Food was cold. Delivery person called but he didn’t understand me very well. Said he was out side my door and he wasn’t. Then argued with me saying he was outside my door. I found him at the wrong house down the street.

Delivery one and half hours late. Don't mind if that's how long it takes if delivery estimates let you know. Waited for 2 hours and had to change other meeting as waiting. Also app said it's delivered one and a half hours before it was, which is confusing as makes you think the food has been delivered to wrong address. Glitch in the app needs fixing

MY FOOD WASNT DELIVERED. I had to go and find the delivery person. Tried to tell me that he couldn’t find my address so would stay where he was so I could get it from him...?! Tried to explain that I couldn’t because I had a baby in bed but spoke such little English couldn’t understand what I was trying to tell him. I’m the end I had to run and ask my neighbour who also had a small baby to watch out for my son whilst I went and found the delivery driver and collected me food. Not one of my neighbours has had any issue with delivery from anywhere since we all moved in (we live on a new estate). So I have told them all to NEVER order from here. The food was stone cold AND burnt, and COVERED in onions after I specifically requested none as I have an intolerance. So after all of that, all went in the bin. APPAULED.

The delivery was quite late but we were OK with it. The delivery guy was great! The food was just hot. Would prefer it a little hotter next time. Very good overall, thanks!

After a negative experience, we decided to give Papa Johns another try over the past few weeks and I have to say the service has been spot on. The pizza has been delicious and the customer service from Miss. Patel is outstanding. She is very friendly, helpful, accommodating and polite. We will continue to use Papa Johns as long as the pizza and people remain good! Thank you guys!

Long wait for a two star pizza 🍕over priced and quality not what i expected

Absolutely awful. Ordered delivery, it was late. By the time it arrived the food was cold and when I rang up to ask where the order was the person on the other end was extremely rude.

Best Pizza on the go. Affordable and delicious with ridiculous offers all time. Even if you late to pick up, they keep it warm and fresh for you

If you’re looking for a burnt overpriced pizza, half your order missing & rude customer service with no-one in the shop wanting to come up with a solution or refund then this is the place for you. Most disappointing inedible pizza we’ve ever had. Charged £37 for a burnt pizza and 1 side, rang up to say we had items missing from the order and that we’d been charged incorrectly all the woman could do was keep shouting the order down the phone and not offer a solution or refund!

Don't do halal, put off for Muslims

Excellent pizza, excellent service. Watch out for the offers though, you're not saving money on anything, they just make it look like you are. If you do some quick calculations you'll see ! Food wise though, can't complain.

Saw spider-man advertising this place on a roundabout and thought I must try it. I was not disappointed. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

It used to be the best pizzeria in Leicester at one point. However, they now have a bunch of unpassionate cooks in the kitchen and it reflects in the quality.

pizza game was strong. just like a big ball of greasy dough in a box. bacon was greasy, but a good kind of grease like hair gel greasy. also loved the dude on the phone who can't speak English, he tried and ended up getting the order bang on. soz to the delivery dude for keepin him waiting, and being greeted by bennett.

Paid via Visa. Had iPad screen to prove this payment had gone through but had Manager of the shop on the phone demanding cash, several times. Spoke to Just Eat and order had been paid in full Via Visa. Papa Johns is rubbish at Customer Service. Will never order Papa Johns again.

When I searched for Pizzas takeaways that deliver in my area, Papa Johns came up on the search. I placed my order and was given a delivery time of 30 mins. An hour later I phoned and the employee I spoke too told me they haven't made it because they don't deliver to my address !!!!!!! - They have my details in front of them !!!! why the hell couldn't they phone me and tell me this ? BAD BAD customer service - be aware ordering from the Oadby branch. I would phone up after to confirm your order (defeats object of using just eat).

Had to knock a star off on food quality because when you order extra fresh tomato you expect more than 4 tiny pieces dumped in the middle of the pizza when paying a pound

Papa johns is one of my favourite pizza places to go too ever! Now they have one local to me makes it even better! :D The staff here are always super helpful and always do everything they can to help :)

Had to ring to advise only one dessert had been delivered, was quick to send another and apologise for the mistake, used these many times and only issue we've ever had :) Food as always, amazing :)

ordered pizza and sides for myself and family including my 4yr and 2 year grandsons. ordered at 5.11pm over the phone. told an hour for collection. got there for 6.15 to be told the order wasn't ready after watching them run round for 5 minutes scratching their heads and yelling at each other. told they would do them straight away. told 10 minutes. waited in my car for 25. went back in to be told they hadnt done them yet. another run around of 4 staff...all looking at me, scratching their heads etc. offered me a bottle of pop as compensation. waited as customers came and went with their orders. watched as all staff (except the lady) swapped roles fro rolling dough, handling money, going to back room and handling crash helmets, boxes, bags, keys, back to handling dough - no gloves, NO WASHING OF HANDS, an absolute disgrace. i was then, finally, given my order. which was wrong. they had missed an item. gave me a cookie as compensation. to add insult to injury, the pizza wasnt all that! and the free cookie was burned.......my poor grandchildren didnt get to eat until 7pm. not acceptable, especially not a 2 year old. disgraceful. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. i will also be contacting environmental health regarding the extreme poor standards of hygiene.

terrible service. food took over an hour & half to arrive. when it did... it was cold. the pizza which we requested had less sauce was absolutely covered in sauce. very greasy. after eating a 1/4 of it both my partner and I felt pretty ill. after calling to complain the member of staff said sorry and offered us £5 off our next order... when we said.. 'is that it?' they continued to say we were lucky as the manager would usually on give £3 off!. at least with dominoes they deliver on time and if they get it wrong they hold their hands up and credit the whole meal to your account - especially in the case where you order a lot from them. wont be ordering from here again.

The pizza at Papa Johns is excellent and we feel it's the best in Oadby. it is expensive but they offer a lot of money off vouchers and offers so check on the internet beforehand. Be careful, the garlic sauce is more like garlic custard! Yak

The store accepted order and then rang me to say they are too busy and will not deliver for only desserts (my order was £16) unacceptable.

Late, but they rang up to tell us they were going to be and amended the time so major kudos to them. Much better than most places around here. Unfortunately, the pizza was salty, greasy, and made me queasy. Not my thing.

Worked out much cheaper than going to Papa Johns directly. Shame I couldn´t choose half and half pizza like you can do on the PJ website.

Very enjoyable and it was delivered within 20 minuites so I was very impressed.
