good pizza,friendly staffs and quick service

Pizzas we're below average. Not enough sauce added which was unusual. Toppings were scarce. rare to be disappointed with papa John's pizza but this was that time unfortunately.

Absolutely hopeless delivery driver, couldn't find our house and instead of calling me he decided to go back. I had to call and ask where is my order and they replied saying "the guy couldn't find your house so he came back" absolutely rubbish and I recommend you from now on picking up your order

Ordered cauliflower wings last night and the order turned up with just a few in and the rest was potato tots. They had obviously ran out and not bothered to call to ask if I wanted a replacement. Asked for a refund on call and the lady manager who can’t even understand english properly said no for refund and did not even offer anything, Disgusting customer service . Do not order from this branch , save your money , #waste of time.

I would recommend the chicken fajita.

Ordered 2 pizzas from here and after started to eat the first one noticed a long black hair in it. Immediately stopped eating it and checked the second one and there was a hair in that one too! They were under the cheese imbedded in the pizzas. Phoned them up and they weren’t having any of it so I told them I’d come back to the store. Once I was there I showed them the hairs (I have blonde hair) and they tried to blame it on me. Not sure how someone could plant a hair inside the cheese but they weren’t apologetic at all. Then they asked how old I was. Not sure what my age has to do with it, I was old enough to buy the pizza (and I was over 18). Finally got my refund and then they begged me not to leave a bad review. Awful service, I was treated like a liar and judged because of the way I was dressed & my age. Would never give papa John’s my money again. Teach your staff 1) how to wear hair nets and 2) treat your customer the way you would want to be treated. Awful

Just walked in. Got told any order will be 45 mins!!! As though didn’t want to serve me.

Ordered on app to collect at holyhead Road! When we arrived we recieve a phone call saying the store has closed now (still open on the app and accepted our order) we needed to then drive to cheylesmore store. So this took extra time and caused arguments between everyone. So not happy and won't be ordering from papa johns again.

Food was delivered on time and quality was really good

Collection time 11.20, opened up 20 mins late: should of been open 11am. My order was accepted for 11.20am collection, got the 'thumbs up'. Still waiting for pizza 11.30am.

Paid for ice cream but was missing from order

Bought a small pizza but it wasn’t small though, perfectly baked, with some good stuffings

I love it. It's so good it will end up making me fat if I keep eating it so much

Driver turned up, I answered the door for the driver to realise he delivered my pizza to wrong property. Then went to COLLECT my pizza, fresh one requested. After 9 mins driver back with OLD pizza not fresh. Cold and disappointed 😞 expected better from a large chain.

Service from Ben was excellent, food ready for collection in rapid time.

Couldn’t get the website to accept my order for some reason, but the staff sorted it quickly their end. Always use this branch as the food is delivered quickly and it never disappoints!

The delivery driver didn’t enter our postcode when trying to deliver the order so ended up at the wrong site and then we had to direct him via FaceTime to get to us - we pre-ordered to ensure it would be there on time as we were having a customer meeting.

Really happy, as a vegetarian with kids, Ben really delivered...half and half pizza. Stuffed crust and considering I live 20 mins away the pizza was still hot when i got home. Great service, great pizza

The time that the delivery was delivered was not met and I never got the food .

Food was hard as if it had been waiting on the side for a while, incorrect dips were received. Overall not very happy.

Food didn’t get delivered so I’m not able to to give an accurate review on taste or quality. I tried to call the restaurant and didn’t get an answer.

Average pizza, over priced. Delivery driver late, rude and aggressive. Actually thought he was going to attack me. Would not order from this takeaway again, don’t need the stress.

The Pizzas are really nice and well made, in-fact way better than Domino's and Pizza Hut. I always call to order and then collect it from here so never had a problem with waiting times. They always have got great deals on collection.

Papa Johns pizza is about the best I’ve ever had , not ordered from here before , persuaded by my son to give them a try and I was really impressed with how good it tasted.

Great food and service/delivery

Thick layers of onions chunky non edible! The bases of the pizzas was just soft and soaked im grease..cheese super thick

Ordered at around 6pm. Told delivery would be 6.25-6.45. At 6.50, I chased via the app who sent a text message stating the delivery would now be 7.05pm. Called restaurant at 7.10pm to be told that my order had not gone through and they would start cooking immediately and deliver in 25 mins. Asked to cancel and get refund as I was going out and was told that they would call back after speaking with a manager as cancelling was not possible. After 10 mins no call back and so I called again stating that noone would be here to take delivery 1 hour 40 mins after initial order. Finally managed to cancel order but now have to wait 7 days for refund to be processed. 🙁

It took far too long to arrive, they only updates I got were after I sought them out and there was no effort to inform me of the delay until then

Absolute rubbish!! Didn't deliver the correct order and when I phoned to complain couldn't hear because of noise on their line, said they would phone back but didn't. Don't waste your time or money!!!!

ordered online. delivery time was average. lots of pineapple on the pizza as i ordered DOUBLE pineapple. ya know it's right. tasty pizza and the filled crusts are amazing. some cinnamon thingies and this was a great experience. lovin papa johns

Great place to get a delivery or collection from plus you can order in the place too...... Also can get a drink from this place (pop and water) and also can get something vegan aswel

Foods good when it eventually arrives. If you order on the app be warned that it will show as delivered long before you actually get your food. When you ring to find out where it is you will inevitably be told it has just left this second and is 5 minutes away. If you ring again 10 minutes later they will still tell you it's 5 minutes away.... They will also offer you a free medium Pizza as an apology but when you actually try redeem the free pizza they have no record of it. Probably best avoided.

Worst delivery driver I ever seen and met ,just sitting in his car not even making a effort to look for deilivery address ,then being rude, when I had to go to his car to get my order, very lazy

Good as usual but a taste i can only describe as branstone pickle was predominant in the meat piza. Not very pleasant.

Poor value for money vs competitors. Small and expensive and toppings were very stingy.

Excellent as my partner and I was hungry anyway. Will do this again

The pizza was bland and dry. The sides were tasteless and couldn’t taste the topping. The cinnamon scrolls were lacking in cinnamon and the brownies were over cooked and no soft centre. Going back to dominos!!

Delivery time was 17:50, I left the delivery address 19:00 and the food was not yet delivered. I am not even sure if it was delivered, and if it was, to whom was it delivered

Super incompetent staff pretended how not to hear me during calls, laughs, unprofessional. 1:30h late delivery cold food forgot my toppings and refuse to give me a refund

I’ve reviewed Papa John’s Cheylesmore before. Reliable local pizza place but I must admit the pizzas are bit too tomato-y and greasy. Not bad but average. What gets me ordering are the sides and especially the scrummy Marmite Scrolls, I sometimes pop in just to order them - but £4.99 for 8 is pricey without a special offer. Chicken poppers quite nice and potato tots with cheese are ok too. Give me the Marmite scrolls!
