awful shop - do not use. awful service, didn't deliver the pizza and lied to say they did - constantly changing their story. Said they could find the address, then they couldnt, said they rang the bell, then they didnt as it was after 11pm.

Do not order from here on just eat I ordered my food over an hour I waited they was quick enough to take my money and my food never arrived I'm Soo mad

Took my card details and staff told me the card didn’t go through and I will have to pay cash. Next day when I called there was different staff and refused to help said he didn’t have any system to contact the owner. There is no direct phone to contact papa johns. I filled a form and there is no acknowledgement received for my complaint so I am in agony now that I have lost £47.54. Avoid Ilford papa john seems to be fraud. Pizza was delivered after one hour with no sauce and for that they have charged me twice. Can I rate less than 1?

Went to order pizza from this store. On arriving I was told 2-3 minutes but was waiting for more than 15 minutes. When I got home I realised one of the toppings was wrong, and when I called the store about this the store manager picked up saying “he took my order and he knows what I said” and that “he is the manager of the store so he knows”. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and lacked communication skills to deal with a complaint.

Went for collection the first time. Waited 15 mins before we left, arrived 10 mins later, went to collect order, waited 20 mins before the guy who served us went over to a stack of boxes that had been there since we arrived and handed it over. Pizza was warm not hot, having sat on the side for 20 mins. I've ordered for delivery since and it is always this temperature. Don't get me wrong Papa John's is really good, tasty pizza but you want hot food not warm to room temperature. Other locations I hope are better. Give this one a miss. Papa John's pizza good. This location bad.

Got a takeaway pizza with my daughter her friend and this is always good and ordered online. They are always on time and the food is always very good. They always have offers so look out for them which make it better value for money as well. Staff are always friendly and helpful

Really enjoyed our 2 pizzas greek and sweet and sour chicken. Phoned up and ordered then collected 10 minutes later, no problems.

We ordered online, and have in the past the pizzas are OK usually good value. On this occasion waited and waited, checked online and the order had not been processed. Rang the store and was told the system had crashed, we asked about getting our money back and told this has to be done via the website. There is nowhere on the website to do this and the customer service number is only open during office hours and during the week! So no pizza no money back, and then when pressed if we could simply go in and get the pizza from the female on that night we get a load of abuse! So, we follow this up with email to the customer service department, and a phone call and no resolution or even an apology, what a disgraceful organization.

I am Papa Johns biggest fan but last night i ordered pizza from the Ilford branch as a treat for my boyfriend who usually goes for pizza hut. My local Papa Johns is Upminister and i swear to you their pizza in there would make you forget your name.... Yes that is how tasty it is. I have converted many of people to Papa John's with the prized Upminister branch who are quick, friendly, clean and food arrives in good temperature. Anyway the pizza and wings i ordered last night were minging. The pizza was soggy and would not separate like how the pizza i usually order does. The wings were yucky and we left some as they were not edible. Both the boyfriend and i woke up with a tummy upset as the pizza just did not taste right. We ordered a large half & half of Premium Hawaiin and The Works. It was disgusting. I will not lie and waste anyone's time but do not order from the ilford branch whatever you do. I should have read the reviews before ordering and just had a pizza hut which i have had before and is decent.

I contacted my local store (Ilford) on Sunday 09/11/14 at 23.00 as I was going to order online and wanted to confirm if they were still delivering (I have had issues with this store refusing to deliver in the past due to lack of drivers as well as other excuses.) Even though Papa Johns website stated that the store is open until 00.00 (midnight) on a Sun, the store manager, Gagan said he would not be able to deliver due to QUOTE "dangerous people e.g. black people in the delivery area" UNQUOTE. I cannot believe what was uttered from his mouth - is he for real and is this the kind of appalling service Papa Johns Ilford offers by refusing a delivery order one hour before closing time due to ignorant and prejudiced views?

Wrong order.- ham was similar to peperoni. - hence order was ok !!!! Food horrible - wedges under cooked. Pizza horrid- manager not interested just said everything cooked the same.

I bought a festive feast meal which included two pizzas bottle of coke coleslaw chicken wings garlic bread and I also added dips potato skins. Delivery turns up no dips or bottle of coke. Had to notify the driver who got someone else sent out with the remainder of the order. Got the bottle of coke and the dips but still no coleslaw. As my pizza was now half eaten, cold and half of it was late I called to complain. The boss wasn't very helpful and asked me ignoring I wanted some one to drop it off.... I said I didn't want it now, and that I think I should be refunded. He told me he will not refund me and rudely slammed the phone down. I had a lot of patience for the man who took my order in the first place as it was his first day but I have to say the manager was disgusting rude and not at all some one you would want as a manager as he doesn't put out a good example. Lovely delivery driver Lovely man who took my order But the worst manager I have EVER come across in my life!!

Great pizza tastes very nice but the service is kinda poor THEY HAVE GREAT DEALS buy one get one free always available which saves a bit from dominos And pizza hut making the value for money very good I recommend it ignore the other guy

After a long day, being away and just wanting something easy to eat, I tend to use takeaways. Over time have learnt through experience which ones seem to deliver good service and above all good food. Papa Johns was one of these places, and I believe even as franchises there are quite strict guidelines for the owners running the restaurant. Anyway I place my online order as usual, and within 30 mins the delivery guy turned up. Unfortunately they had forgotten the drink and dips. The driver was very apologetic when I pointed this out, and promised to go back and bring the missing items. He did return, with the bottle of drink, another 30 mins later, pizza now cold, but again had forgotten the dips. A very disappointing meal. Assuming the driver had gone back and mentioned the error, and the supervisor or manager calling to apologise they would have continued to get my business. As it is, no more Papa Johns, Pizza Hut here I come.
