Papa John's in Doncaster

Can’t believe how much this place doesn’t care about their customers...it’s just sad when you have a lovely family night planned and something like this spoils it. When you call and ask where your order is and they say a few minutes away (it’s been 20 minutes we we speak) even thought the tracker said it’s been delivered 40 minutes ago!!!!

The food itself tasted good, however the order was not complete. I ordered the vegan sheese & tomato pizza with extra mushrooms and the special garlic dip, however there weren't many mushrooms on the pizza and the garlic dip was not there. The hot buffalo wings which were ordered for my brother turned out to be piri piri wings instead. We had also ordered the tropical drench drink, however we received the tango orange which was dropped at our door. Overall, the food did not taste bad but it is definitely not worth the price as the buffalo wings came to £6.49 and there were only 6 of those. We expected better.

Falls somewhere between takeaway and restaurant standard, absolutely delicious. Pricey but not too bad if you take advantage of the offers they have on.

I was in Irish bar pissed out me head and fancied a pizza so I rang em and said to can u do us a pepperoni and bring it across to Irish bar over road they said no so I had to go and get it and I tripped over and did me arm in should they have delivered it I wouldn’t be in a and e waiting for an ex ray

I had never visited a Papa Johns before and a workmate suggested it from JustEat. Initial thoughts were bloody hell its expensive which was closely followed by its just like dominos. Then I went to their website and it’s a lot cheaper, they prefer PayPal and the garlic twists are to die for. Use their website and look for codes, oh and the pizzas are cracking!

The food, the service and the staff are absolutely shocking. My order arrived 10 mins early, cold, dropped and unfit for consumption. I was promised a replacement only then to be told I was lying and that a replacement would not be issued and I would not get a refund. The head office is as useless as their franchisees. Avoid these clowns at all cost, idiots

Really quite shocked how poor this shop is. After having the phone put down on us for ordering too slowly, we should have cut our losses, but we rang back and placed an order. When it arrived it was stone cold and wrong and the delivery guy was at best rude. When we rang up to complain, they just slammed the phone down on us twice. Do yourself a favour and cook up an Iceland pizza at a fraction of the cost and without the abuse and apathy.

Nice pizza. And the ingredients are fresh just as they say. Only down point for me was that I felt it was heavier on the stomach than normal. But no issue as it still tastes nice warmed up next day. By the way you have to try their garlic dip it's devine

Don't usually try new things but since i started working just across the road i thought i'd give them a try and I've never been more satisfied in my life, i never do reviews etc but papa johns are so good i feel the need to review it as 5 STAR take away place, 100% recommend, best pizzas ever!!!

Delivery came fast in twenty minutes and delivery driver was funny having a laugh I loved his sense of humour will definitely ordering from there gave him tip he said it's OK I ask his name jb he left fast

Normalmente nos entrega de fichas. Nos pensamos que este Papa Johns una oportunidad para un cambio. La base de pizza era pastoso, coberturas eran extremadamente soso. Los lados eran sosas y poco hecha. Me sabía un poco mejor después de 10 minutos en el horno. Muy caro. Al dominó también es caro, pero habitualmente no buenas ofertas que tratamos de aprovechar. Pero parecía muy poco frente a la oferta de Papa Johns. Nos dieron un descuento de 10 libras 50 libras de comida. En general, una comida decepcionante para un montón de dinero.

Si estás buscando una buena pizza, un sabor más fresco y tenerlo en casa. Esta es una buena opción. He tenido papa johns antes (normalmente hacia el sur) y a pesar de lo que los otros dicen, no realmente recibido comida fría, así que quizás una anomalía extraña? I used the mobile website to place the order around 655 which forced me to pay by card and no option to pay on collection, I was spending more than I normally would just to try an alternative to the usual dominos as the offers papa John had on weren't as good but having past the store a few times I wanted to give it a go. We ordered half and half for me and my daughter to share. The confirmation said 15 minutes, I arrived just after 710 and was told by the girl on the front desk that it was currently in the oven and would be 5 minutes... These 5 passed, then another 5 then a few more, she saw me lookin more and more perplexed and she went to find out where it was, bein told by the girl boxing the pizzas, well tell him he'll have to wait it's not ready yet, I would've walked at this point if I'd not been forced to pay by card on the app.. I did point out shed told me 5 minutes over 10 ago, I appreciate things can get busy but if you're told somethings in the oven with 5 minutes to go then you assume 5 minutes or its gonna be burnt, it was a further 10 minutes before the pizza finally came and it looked like it had been thrown together, slices varying between an inch and 4 inch,ham on 2/10 slices, unable to tell which half was which cos it looked more like 3 or 4 different types. Horrendous experience, more expensive than its counterpart round the corner with less deals to combat that and I would say not as nice either.

Pizza arrived cold and wedges un cooked and hard inside, called them up and they said another pizza and wedges would be sent out and would receive after 45 mins, over 3 hours later only just received second pizza after several calls to papa johns, now the pizza is hear and more wedges, the pizza is terrible really strange flavour and isn't thin crust that I originally ordered. The wedges are again in cooked inside, how can a restaurant chain get away with serving food this bad. Will never order from here ever ever again, shocking food and service

Placed a delivery order on the evening of 02/02/16. We ordered 2x large pizza, 2x portions of chicken wings and a portion of wedges. The wings were fine but the wedges were hard and uncooked in the centre. Now for the pizza: as Papa Johns are one of the big 3 premium chains we expected something special and were looking forward to sampling a top drawer takeaway but how wrong could we be? The pizzas were lukewarm, very dry and tasteless with crispy (weird) toppings. The only way we could tell which pizza we were eating was with the colour of the toppings on them, they were really bland and boring. In all honesty Asda pizzas are much better. I rang up and asked to speak to the manager and was handled by a young lady. When I informed her of our findings she just said "we won't cook them like that next time, sorry." In fairness, I did tell her we didn't want to use their "if you don't love your pizza, we'll deliver another one free" offer because of how bad the food was but there wasn't even the offer of a partial refund. Garbage food coupled with garbage customer service, really upset, won't use again..
