Don't come here for breakfast! Little fry up would have been ok were it not for cold in the middle reheated cheap sausages, pineapple slice on the bacon and......garlic bread instead of toast! I was so looking forward to actual toast! GARLIC BREAD! On a 'fry up' 😂

Very impressed with the food we had today with Delyth in Y Pantri and the excellent service here. What a treat to have professional bilingual menus. Welsh speaking staff was also appreciated by us. I had Y Pantri Special Breakfast that included a pot of tea for just £4.50. And it was a nice touch to have the bacon on a bed of pinapple. We will definately call here again soon.

Seriously, the worst breakfast ever in UK since 5 years. The milkkoffee was based on instant coffee with cooked milk, not even mixed properly, milk-skin on top. The sandwich with cheese and egg was a real loveless collection of grated gouda and the supermarket-egg-salad was an addon the plate. The panini could have been done by my 8 year old daughter not worse. Never ever we will return.

Had a chicken with stuffing and cranberry sauce panini, very dry, no cranberry sauce and very strange stuffing, more like toasted bread crumbs. Service and coffee was good though. Very charming little cafe, would go back.

Very very tasty and a nice cup of tea. Located on the High Street in the centre of Lampeter. Delyth has been running Y Pantri for forty years. Every thing tastes homemade. Croeso Cymraeg bob amser.

No idea whether this cafe is any good or not as we were totally ignored. The waitress came by three times to clear tables or serve food to other tables, and completely blanked us every time! She might have been busy but it doesn't hurt to at least acknowledge your customers and say 'I'll be there in s minute'. We left after ten minutes and went to Greggs, and that was rubbish too.

Like a good book, don't judge this by its cover, we had a nice coffee stop here. Tables very well spaced, good service, friendly and quite inexpensive. Better than a chain coffee shop.

Environment is lovely, Service is friendly, food is ok. But portions are poor! I left and went to buy a pasty in Greggs up the road. Disappointing because it's a lovely little cafe.

Y Pantri is an unspoiled traditional cafe offering a good menu of home-made food. We had a special local fruit cake that was delicious. Others' meals looked good. Service delightful.

I gave a 2 star review as the waitresses where very polite and happily helped us with our issues. Me and my sisters went for food here on Saturday night for my sisters birthday.. first I'd like to point out we were the only 4 people sitting in having food our food took ages to arrive. 3 of us ordered the lasagna and one of us ordered the spaghetti bolognes. On the food arriving all 3 lasagnas where burnt!! The spaghetti was undercooked the food was disgusting!! I was starving so I had to eat what I given.. 2 meals hadn't been touched apart from eating the 2 slices of garlic bread that came with the lasagna.. after having enough we refused to pay for the 2 meals that weren't eaten after a number of back and forwards from the waitress speaking with the manager we got asked to pay for 2 meals, our drinks and pay £5 for 4 slices of garlic bread!!! Which obviously was not going to happen. The lovely waitresses as hard as it was to deal with dealt with it very well and in the end we only paid for 2 of the meals and our drinks. Unfortunately would not recommend coming here for food, maybe for a drink at the bar yes but food is a massive NO NO!

We have been going to this lovely hotel for years and have fallen in love with it.. however, in recent times we have noticed a turn around in new staff ans to be frank, they have not been given sufficient or proficient training in general, we have also noticed a decline in the food at the hotel... we think that it just needs a bit of re organising in the management sector to bring g it back up to scratch.. it is still beautiful and idealik for a relaxing stay.
