Panku Frome in Mendip

An amazing experience, from start to finish first class. We visited on the Wednesday for the steak night, £40 per couple for 2 8oz sirloins and a bottle of house wine. No corners cut the food was excellent and the ambience of the building and mellow music made it very special and memorable. A big thanks to all the team for making this a “never to forget” evening.

Fabulous restaurant. Staff incredible. Owners welcoming. Food always of a very high standard. So sad they are closing on 16th December.

We went here for our anniversary and had the most amazing meal! All the dishes were absolutely delicious with so much flavour. Rounded off with an incredible dessert. The service was friendly and helpful. Could not recommend more. We will be back. Thank you!

Absolutely lovely meal here to celebrate a birthday. We had a number of small sharing plates and as a big meat eater this place really makes vegetables fun!!

What a treat this pub is nestled on top of the mendips. It’s like stepping back in time. When you walk through the door you forget it’s the 21st century. Sadly there are few of these untouched traditional pubs left. What could be better than a cheese and onion roll and a pint of farmhouse cider… maybe it’s time to bring back the mendip wall fish :)
