Panjab Street Food in Redbridge

We ordered Gol gappe first one was so sweet full of ketchup taste owful, Yoghurt Gol gappe was full of sweet sauce and sweet yogurt no seasiong or sour taste! The filling was without seasoning No salt or spices,they put 2-3 chickpeas boiled one without salt.. Then we ordered another batch of Gol gappe to make without sauce they made one with awful taste green chilli sauce without any seasoning or sour sauce! Such a waste of Money!!! So disappointed! I would have appriciate if they would have showed a little effort as their prices are high! 😑

Just tried mixed veg steamed momos and they taste amazing. It is reasonably priced as well.

My first time in this cafe type resturant. I must say the sraff at the reception was very helpful. Ordered goal gappa's with mint water, very tasty. I was tempted to get somthing else as I saw everyone else eating burgers so I ordered a noodle burger i must say it was very tasty and made fresh. Prices are very reasonable although I thought the mango lassi was on the high end price. Lovely atmosphere, the place was full. Good music. They need to put some paper towels in wash room to dry your hand as there were none but I was offered some at the reception. Only one staff managing the reception, serving and clearing tables. He managed very well. Very good service. I will def go there again.

Went there this Saturday. Ordered a tiki chaat and chips. I didn’t like their tiki chat . Tiki’ s was very small filled with runny sauces. Price seems high compare to the quantity of plate..my son liked the chips 🍟 but for me it was filled with oil.Their noodle tiki burger was quite tasty 🍔😊👍

Have been trying to call them for the last two days, based on the opening times have been there and it’s been closed.

We had fried momos ,very bad experience momos sauce should be spicy its too bland ,momos stufed by vermiceli i just saw their video on instagram thats why i poped in but not satisfied 👎

Good food. Though being a fan of proper Indian spicy food, here the food is so tasty though not spicy. The flavour is so perfect and can feel the satisfaction of eating Indian food. Good place to go with the vibes of Punjabi music.

Whenever I wanna eat something only one restaurant comes into my mind it’s none other than Panjab street food infact I always feel like I’m in Punjab I have really great experience according to me it’s one of my favourite restaurants in whole uk 🇬🇧 because the quality of food is really amazing 🤩 it’s real taste of Panjab if I talk about the staff they are also helpful before I went there I thought in uk I can’t find my taste but luckily I found it here thank you so much all team but unfortunately they don’t do home delivery I recommend to everyone they should visit here .

Food over Punjab street food is such a delicious one i have tried different varieties in all street food and all have amazing taste. Highly recommend and must try their chaap , spring rolls and momos. The staff over there is very friendly and their service is amazing. I would say if anyone misses the taste from back home must come over here and try their food.

decent food, however they probably should list ingredients on their menu as i got the papdi chaat and there were peanuts in it, which is a very common allergy people have.

Sorry to give a late review and for a food I took away in the summer, delayed due to giving some time to see if this store pull up their socks. It appears not, I hope it was just a one off bad experience, however not keen to give a try again. We took a take away, appeared to me that the cold storage food was fried rapidly in hot oil. The inside was still cold , not much to comment on taste

The quantity is not sufficient compared to price.

The crispy gyoza was so good, I’ve been craving it ever since I walked out of the restaurant. It was made pretty quickly too, in around 10 minutes! By far my favourite, especially because I am not the best at handling spice… however, the prices are so great. Very affordable, with amazing portions of high-quality food! The atmosphere was great. I loved the music selection- you guys have good taste! It was a bit too loud though, but this was a minor issue on my behalf. The air conditioner was not working by the way, so it did get super warm when I got here. Otherwise, everything is really nice!

My recent visit to Panjab street food was very disappointing. We waited for more than 45minutes for “street” food, which is a significant delay, especially considering the time when it wasn’t busy and the person taking our order said 10min maximum for food to be delivered .However after a good 15min wait we were informed that they didn’t have the food which we had ordered and were given choice at what’s available,to pick. So after 45min the food was finally delivered and I must say the quality was even below average. The Manchurian was just packed without frying and we could feel the ice of uncooked frozen Manchurian not fried properly.The “much recommended” dishes ,the momos and their famous “chaap” by the manager at the till ,were just unpalatable.What’s more concerning is the health risks with uncooked food served so confidently by this restaurant. The restaurant was not even apologetic for the wait time and with the appalling quality and service of food this restaurant is a no go recommendation for others. One star as I had to write the review,otherwise doesn’t deserve that as well.

I visit there lost of time but now they reduce the quality, taste and quantity of their food this time I visit the golgpe was very solid I eat 1 that stuck in my stomach and I feel very bad pain till 10 minutes never recommended

I m visiting here still they opened this shop to be honest the all of the staff is very friendly.. mostly we always served by Jass he is always nice to us. If I talked about food it’s amazing all the things in the menu is superb tasty. And the another thing I liked in this restaurant is hygiene they are using proper hygiene while making all food items. I went to this place couple of days before for the food eat in with my family members as this place was recommended by one of my friends she was went there usually When u went there I was waiting for the table 10 mints no one give us the table then once I got the table, the food was really bad it was not fresh ,soya champ was not look like soya as it was shown in the picture… I’m not going to went this place again ….0/10 No one let us that is self service or not it was my first visit there

Worst food i have ever seen. The food is really feel stale. We paid 3.50 for this spoonful of gajar halwa which was too sweet and completely stale

Referred by a friends and just pop in suddenly and order gol gappe, malai champ and burger …..honestly writing it took me india for sometime the spicy golgappe 😋😋 such a wonderful place if missing Indian street food …❣️ Eventually, 26 alphabets of English can’t describe my feelings 🥰😇

I tried their paneer noodle burger which was actually quite nice, a bit too spicy but nice. I also had Malai tikka chaap- it was nothing like what it should be …literally just poured full cup of double cream on chaap and thats all it was. Very disappointed by chaap. I would say if you go there get a burger or noodles but definitely not Chaap.

The day Monday and Tuesday was seriously very bad experience with them as the staff is not cooperative and irritating . The Noodles was there famous but that day I just leave the food as it is! The staff on reception use punjabi villagers language and don't have way to speak with costumers Once there we visited on sunday and that day i get my old excellent taste and excellent service 💯

I went there today for dinner with group of friend and the food is fabulous!! The staff is very polite and positive. Unfortunately, the table and chair is very dirty where they never clean when food is on chair or table. The bathroom is very disgusting and not cleaned. The window is in very bad condition and all cold air coming in from dining table.

Went to the restaurant 2 weeks ago. Loved the food. Gajar halwa and golgape was fantastic. Good customer service.

Amazing and quite reasonable Indian restaurant in ilford. Must try chole kulche and gol gappe. They should work on quality of Momo's I think. Decent and sufficient indoor seating. Overall a good restaurant to be in for Indian street food.

I service was so attitude and rude way and they added chat masala on Momo's I told them I don't want chat masala they just removed from top and chat was stick to Momo's they even not done it properly cooked it was like improper cook this is not at all good service and I clearly mentioned I don't want chat masala and I not guiding your customers or anyone this is the thing what happen and even though you are showing attitude in your reply for me I spoil my day because of your faces and attitude

I had an amazing visit to Panjab street food ilford today. I ordered Gol Gappe, Tikki Chat, veg Afgani chaap, Veg noodles and Indian Chai. The food was very yummy and delicious. The Gol Gappe were crispy and filled with tangy water and chutneys. The Tikki Chat was sweet, spicy and flavourful, with potatoes, and sev. The veg Afgani chaap was tender and succulent, marinated in a creamy sauce and grilled to perfection. The Veg noodles were hot and tasty, with vegetables and soy sauce. The Indian Chai was refreshing and aromatic, with milk, sugar and spices. The only thing that I would suggest is to have more spicy water for the Gol Gappe, as I like them to be more fiery. But other than that, everything was perfect. The service was friendly and fast, the ambience was cosy and colourful, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Indian street food. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

Checked the reviews after the visit and seems like some of them are bang on point! Ambience lives up to the names ‘street food’, chaotic and not very clean. The girl on the till was unsure about the items we ordered. At first she said it would take about 25 minutes later she changed her mind and said its not gonna be that late. We ordered, sat down and then was waiting for the food only to be told that the mains we ordered were out of stock, and was told to choose something else but we asked for refund. On hindsight I guess it was good we didn’t get to try the food looking at other reviews, call it blessings in disguise 🙏

Dirty, grubby, the kitchen was disgusting. If health and safety were to inspect, they would shut them down, for sure.

Nice ambience and decent food. I have tried pani puri, chola kulcha bun, noodles, noodles burger etc. Taste is really good but I would suggest people to only go for spicy option if you have decent tolerance level :) Overall good is quite good and close to authentic.

Now the boy from last 2 weeks treated us with very kind and friendly however he served us in such a way that your delicious food become more tasty 🤤 ..... Got kicked out after ordering my food due to my ethnicity

Ordered 4 things - chole kulche : ( they are not traditional chole kulche but are patty in a bun ) don't go by the name as it's not authentic - mixed veg momos : ( they are literally taste like the frozen ones from the Sainsbury's and got steamed in the store. No taste at all, if you are from Delhi, you would hate yourself why did you order it - veg noodles: this was ok and nice spicy but had a different smell of veg, which you might not like it - afgani malai chaap: it was full of Cream poured. A bit disappointed by the taste of it as chaap itself did not have the expected texture. Overall I did not like the food much :(.

I just ordered one item and was told to wait 20 min, after 30 min I went back to ask about it and looks like they forgot and started arguing among themselves and again told to wait 10 min. Finally after waiting 1 hr I got my order. It was not even that busy and every person who came after me had their food and left.Too much wait time and no customer service , not even a sorry from staff .food was okay but not worth the 1 HR wait time

Quality ingredients, awesome taste, far better then other Gujarati street food shops! I tried Gol gappe, Dahi gol gappe and all momos variety. Just awesome.
