Ordered as a takeaway, chilli beef had no veg or sauce, Hong Kong style chicken clearly had food colouring, bright red and tasted of pure vinegar, no sweet at all. Really awful, we are locals and will never use again!

Used to like this place, food used to be good: since Covid: 1. Only accept cash??? Why. Not sure reason behind it 2. Restaurants is closed so ordered a takeaway; while waiting I asked if I could use toilet paper: answer was no sorry: we do not have one!!?? Seriously? Why can’t a customer use a toilet? Not impressed

One of the worst chineses I've ever tried, we were in the area on holiday so gave here a try. The chilli beef was burnt it was awful no taste!! Never been anywhere to only get 6 chicken balls for the same price as I normally get 10! Portions were small, chow mein was absolutely tasteless! Fried rice just seemed to he boiled! The pots of sauce were tiny! Prawn crackers were the best thing probably! The beef was nice in the satay but the satay sauce didn't taste of much, chicken too yung was nice. Feels like a huge waste of £50 none of us enjoyed it.

Tried this at the last minute after finding our regular takeaway was closed. Wish we hadn't wasted our money. The quantity of food was plentiful and it was hot and ready on time. The same can't be said for the quality of the food, Egg Fried Rice - funny metallic taste, no egg and didn't look fried. Prawn Chow mien - 3 prawns and skinny vermicelli noodles. Chicken with black bean and green peppers - full of red pepper very little sauce or chicken Lemon Chicken - nice Honey Pork - dried out and over cooked Chicken S/S Balls - nice Kung Po Beef - totally inedible, full of cashew nuts, water chestnuts and raw chilli and far far too hot and yes we like hot and spicy, beef tough. Put this one down to experience will not be using again.

Being the top rated Chinese takeaway within Wareham we gave this establishment a try, we were not disappointed. Having seen some of the less favourable reviews, as a word for anyone else, ignore them. The phone signal at our site is “not the best” almost non existent, so had to drive and take the risk that the cue would be out the door, we arrived at about 8pm on a Friday evening, although busy it was not overrun. Attended too within seconds of my arrival and given a 10-15 waiting time. Fellow take away lovers, it was worth the wait. We had salt & pepper ribs, ribs in capital sauce, torpedo prawns, followed by pork chow main, sesame chilli chicken, and a chicken curry. Everything was delightful. Next time I’d ask for the onion to be removed from the curry order, a little too chunky for our taste.

My boyfriend and I were staying at Parkdean holiday park in Sandford for the week and were in search for a Chinese takeaway that we could eat at our caravan... we were not disappointed! The drive from the holiday park was about 10 minutes, we managed to park right outside the takeaway which was great! We brought an insulated bag with us so our food stayed hot on the journey home. We were served quickly and the wait was only about 15 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious and still piping hot when we got back to our caravan, we ordered: Chicken chow mein Satay chicken on skewers (extra sauce) Duck with mushroom Special fried rice Prawn toast Sweet and sour chicken balls Absolutely faultless, thank you very much

We were on holiday and decided to get a Chinese we were looking in wareham and originally decided on another Chinese. However due to parking we ended up nearer this chinese so we thought we would look at the menu and it looked clean and a lovely shop so we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did! We had crispy chilli beef (which was actually crispy not chewy and the best I’ve tasted) pork chow mein (was not full of sauce and had crispy bean sprouts not limp which was amazing) chips which were for the children if they got hungry spring rolls which wee nice and salt and pepper spare ribs (an a must to try! They were incredible!!!) the service was amazing, we did have a 25 minute wait for food but this gave me confidence it would be fresh and it was still piping hot when we returned to our campsite around 10 mins away. The price was great too I’ve always recommended to my mum who holidays there too and we will return when we are next on holiday

This restaurant/take-away has a food hygiene rating of 4, how is that possible? We wanted take-away and ordered house special chow mein and pork fillet with ginger and spring onion with fried rice. While we were waiting we looked around and realised we had made a mistake by coming here. There is a heating unit above the entrance door that has not been cleaned for months, all the light fittings have a thick layer of grease and dust on them, the carpet is frayed, the paintwork needs some serious attention and there was a bunch of dead flowers on one of the tables. As for the food, the fried rice had not been fried and the rice was overlooked and therefore starchy and clumped together, the pork fillet was mainly a container of onions and the pork itself was tasteless and like rubber, the chow mein appeared to have been cooked previously and had been heated up on more than one occasion. We had one mouthful of each and put the whole lot in the bin. A complete waste of £17.

Have thought about getting a take away this weekend no access on line and no place out side to pick up a menu as not everyone can come up to collect a menu and would need to order then have it collected by a third party, seeing that your food was so lovely think you are missing out on a lot of housebound people who would love to enjoy your food but can't get you takeaway menu or collect in person

Two ladies + 12 & 14 yr olds.Arrived 9:45pm and asked for a table which we were (severely and) ABRUPTLY TOLD "we close at ten thirty!"Whilst looking at the wall clock, I coolly asked the female 'greeter' if she'd like us to leave .. and she repeated "we close at ten thirty!"So I repeated MY question. The only other two people inside were already dining and appeared as uneasy as 'greeter' made us feel! She told us to sit by the window and we did.We persevered because our 12yr old wanted to experience Chinese food and the only other food available was in local pubs .. so we stayed.I've experienced lots of Chinese food and must say the flavours here are second to none .. quite exceptional in fact .. so all praise to the chef! It's just a shame we were greeted SO badly by possibly one of (if not) THE most unwelcoming sullen Chinese women God put two feet on!I kept calm. Possibly aggravated her with my insistent 'CUSTOMERS' charm, banged down my cutlery after she ignorantly BANGED down our dishes and decided the only tip I would give her is this one:YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION!

We usually head to the Pandada before a trip to The Rex Cinema, as the restaurant is just opposite, opens at 17:30 and we can be assured of swift service, so we don't miss the start of the film. I've never had a bad meal here; the crispy shredded beef is really good, as is the Thai Red Curry and the salt and pepper chicken. You can also get a decent bottle of Chianti at a reasonable price and the service is always efficient and well-mannered. We recently grabbed a take-away order from the Pandada too, and it was consistent with our dining-in experiences. I would recommend the Pandada if you are in Wareham and looking for a tasty bite to eat that won't break the bank or leave you running late.

In this part of Dorset, there is a shortage of decent Chinese take aways. We decided to give Pandada a shot.We decided £20 a head for the set meal was a bit steep so we went with a selection of the menu. There is no online menu that we could find so we had to go in person to see what what to order. We got a free goodie bag when our food was ready, which was a nice touch.Take away gets a 20% discount from the menu prices which makes the prices a little better. So on to the food. Well starters were all good. We had the mixed hor d'oeuvres followed by duck pancakes. You get 6 pancakes with a 1/4 duck, so if there 2,3 or 6 of you, all well and good. The mains were a bit of a let down. We had beef with ginger and spring onion, pork with ginger and spring onion, chicken and cashew nut and chicken satay, all the dishes looked like a container full of onions in gravy with a few bits of meat in. The chicken with cashew nuts did have some other ingredients in, but on the whole, very onioney mains. Very poor considering they are charging £5.50 to £6.50 each dish.So my advice is not to bother or just go for a load of starters.

We had high hopes for Pandada (given that Wareham's other Oriental eateries are very average) but, alas, we came away underwhelmed. The Yellow Bean Chicken main course stole the show- 'stole' being the key here, as it appeared that the majority of the meat had been stolen before we even picked the food up (maybe the chef was peckish?). I've never seen so little chicken in a 'Yellow Bean Chicken' dish (maybe 4 or 5 small chunks, max). But, if Yellow Bean CARROT is your thing, you're in luck- the dish was positively bursting at the seams with small carrot cubes?! The biggest shame was that the actual sauce itself was rather tasty. But, alas, we felt robbed. The Quarter Duck was served pre-sliced/crumbled and was average (and very crumbly), and the dim sum starters were particularly forgettable. The stand-out dish was a Spicy Noodle concoction. In short, proceed with caution: there's every chance you'll get ripped off. Unless you crave tiny carrot cubes, in which case you're quids in.

I moved into the area almost a year ago and really wanted to try this restaurant. Although I was put off by the fact that there never seemed to be anyone dining in there. I did notice however that lots of people got takeaways from there so I finally decided to try it and boy, was I happy I did. The whole process was so easy. I got the number on here, and chose the Szechaun chicken with egg fried rice as I noticed a number of recommendations on here for it. It was ready within 20minutes. When I went to collect it, it was all ready to go. The helpful girl at the desk pointed out where I could get a takeaway menu (I didn't have one so originally tried to order something not on the menu). The food was absolutely delicious! The rice was cooked to perfection and even had a hint of a flavour which I haven't found in other Chinese restaurants and the chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I can't comment on the atmosphere as I didn't stay and eat in but it seemed pleasant enough to me. I am already looking forward to my next "takeaway night" so I can try out the rest of the menu. My favourite part is that I wasn't left with that horrible chinese-y aftertaste that you can get in some Chinese restaurants.

I am local to Wareham and while I don't often eat out, dining here is a pleasure.Food is authentic and not too salty. Decor is subtle as is the backround music creating a relaxed ambience. Staff are all Chinese. Being reasonably well versed in Mandarin, I find it easy to get along. The main purpose of this review is to tell you that it's the best option around, by a long shot.Secondary purpose is to call out an unfair opinion given by another reviewer.dizzyfairy_11 gave a bad overall rating despite mentioning that the food was very good and the starters were overpriced (some people want everything for nothing I suppose).His/her gripe was with the perceived bad attitude of staff. By her description, I gather that dizzy has not had the pleasure of the mainland Chinese idea of professionalism ie. Not acting familiar with a client or patron as being over friendly may obviously be construed as false. Another point that may have escaped fairy_11 as it does every other xenophobic bigot, is that English is not the young waitresses first language. I can attest to the fact that it is in fact her 3rd language. Bearing that in mind, she probably gets by as best she can, even thought she has narrow minded westerners rolling their eyes at her all day long. Try speaking Chinese, as I do. Or are you so high and mighty that learning another's language is beneath you? Some good advice when dealing with people from other countries: Do not attempt to engage with the ignorant preconception your parents likely instilled in you to believe that people in the service industry need to shuck and jive when ever you decide to grace them with your presence. It's disgusting.Peace

Set meal for two with extra salt and pepper squid because we love it, bottle of house wine, all for £43, bargain. Waitress friendly. Love the food here.

This is my husband and I's favourite restaurant, we rarely eat out anywhere else in fact, the food is authentic and delicious not like the greasy tasteless rubbish you get at most Chinese takeaways. We eat in and takeaway frequently and have no problem with waiting for an order as it's worth the wait!

We have recently been refused service twice for a takeaway. This is after making the journey to come in to the town to place an order after the phone rings and rings. It's quite obvious that they cannot handle more than three tables in the restaurant. I would say to this, employ some more staff or don't open at the weekends. It is a shame because the food is good, but not not good enough for us to beg for service. We will never be coming back and would advise anybody who asked to avoid it. The owners don't care if they have your business or not. Go somewhere that does!

Food was actually really nice (quite expensive) but we definitely didn't experience service with a smile! Service was a little slow and the only waitress was very stern. The lighting was very dim and given how much the bill came to i think they may have been able to afford to turn the lights on! May not return but really fancied a chinese and it was the only one in the area.

This place is 2 extremes. The food is very good, but the attitude of the woman who serves you is bordering on that of a prison guard with a bad hangover. This place could be packed every night if they had good service. Can someone please explain to her that her attitude will be just keeping customers away and they would probably be much more successful by hiring in staff with good customer service skills.

We thought twice about entering what looks like a run down Chinese but actually the food was very good. Very few customers eating in but plenty of take away orders. The waitress was rather offhand, possibly because she was taking table orders, telephone orders and serving all at the same time. She gave us a nice smile when we left though! Because she was so busy our food was delivered to our table slowly, dish by dish, whereas it would have nice for it to have been served all together. Excellent beef and green peppers in black bean sauce and Singapore noodles. The crispy pork belly was a bit of a disappointment. Overall we would go again.

We ate here in mid April and regreted it:- the waitress was miserable to the point of rudeness- the resto was cold on a cool evening- we were the only customers (surprise!) apart from a slow stream of take away customers - that didnt add to the atmosphere.- the food was bland and matched the poor atmosphere.

Firstly, I don't come from a town renowned for its culture so I'm not looking at this from a superior position. The food was excellent. The service patchy. When we went into the restaurant, there was a guy waiting for a takeaway and a couple sat at a table eating. The waitress was taking a phone order when she deposited the menus on the table with an uninterested demeanour. When she eventually returned to take our order she did show more interest and was happy to take our requests for adjustments to the menu. IE - mushrooms instead of peppers. The problems we had came from the customers that came in afterwards. Shortly after we arrived a group of four guys came in. They had obviously been enjoying their day and were a little loud but they were not rude and kept themselves to themselves. Just a few minutes later another group came in. From the over loud conversations and the 'banter' they started giving to the four guys, it was apparent that they were locals and, presumably, regulars. The six new people changed the whole atmosphere of the place and were so loud and obnoxious that, after our starters, we arranged for the rest of our order to be a takeaway so we could leave ASAP.I know that the restaurant cannot always control those coming in but these people have affected me from recommending eating in the restaurant.

Too tired to cook so we had a takeaway, unusual for us, from Pandada Chinese Restaurant and very nice it was too. Tasty but not over spiced and msg as we have found chinese meals can be. and we will use the service again when we need another takeaway.Glad I thought to bring a menu home!!

My fiancee and I visted during the chrimbo limbo and a saturday night -we were the only people in there! There were lots of people collecting takeways but otherwise it was empty. We had a delicious meal and it was a shame the place lacked any atmosphere.

There really is something for everyone at this restaurant.Nothing appaers too much trouble. The wine list is as good as the quality of the food, which the cheftakes a pride in serving just as you like it.We will now bw regular visitors.

As Chinese takeaways go I think this one is good. The food was less standard and had a more home cooked taste about it than the average Chinese takeaway. I agree with some of the others that a smile from the girl who serves would be nice! I would recommend the food here.

After reading previous reviews, we were very wary about booking a table for 7 at the Pandada, but we had a delicious meal with prompt and friendly service. There were two other groups dining at the same time, as well as people collecting take away meals. The restaurant was comfortable, pleasantly lit and conveniently located in the centre of Wareham.

Food was fine, but the owner was very quiet and unfriendly - having said, the singapore noodles were great, probably best to stick to take away!

Exceptional food and lovely service. We are both vegetarians and there’s a great range of options and it was all delicious. Highly recommend
