Arrived and seen by multiple staff, no one made eye contact or come over, seated and ordered drinks, some time later I had to ask for them and had to re order, they arrived and had to ask again for a forgotten drink, understand if busy but was quiet

Really tasty fresh buffet. Well worth a visit

Traveled from Stoke to give this a try for my birthday meal. Upon arriving it was packed full and had to wait to be seated. We were seated right next to the food trays which was extremely busy people crowding all around causing a gentleman to fall into my chair. Asked the staff to be moved which they kindly accommodated. Food was okay, nothing to shout about. Went up for ice cream in which there was no bowls. asked for bowls, it was a 10 minute wait until any had been brought over. Once finally having the ice cream it just tasted off. Staff were very accommodating however food and atmosphere are just not it.

Was really looking forward to going here, but I was a bit disappointed. There was plenty of different foods to try but was very basic. I took my 2, 12 year olds with us and had to pay same as an adult as they go off height not age, which was 140 cm didn't feel like they got value for the money as it was £23.99 each.

We love this place, you dont expect it but the staff are really friendly. Now looking around at the people is... Interesting. Its another breed of people who eat there. You're there for one reason only and that is to stuff your face and i was amazed to see that reflected in the size of the people eating there. I was shocked but then felt a bit stupid and couldn't quite enjoy it in the same way for fear of turning in to a grease loving lard arse, stacking my plate in a strategic manner so i wouldn't have to walk past everyone that fourth time to fill my plate yet again...you can freely pick the prawns out and leave all that icky veg. Fine dining this is not, but boy is it fun... Until it's time to leave amd face reality. The food is cooked really well and tastes delicious. It's reasonably priced and you can't fault the entertainment, watching people pick out prawns and leave all the icky green veg. Admiring the lack of impulse control resulting in them leaving plate after plate on their table for the staff to take away so they no longer have to look at the result. All so they can get up and go and waste another plate of rice or vegetables they foolishly thought they were going to eat instead of the fried prawn toast. The pure shame on people's faces, yes its all fun and games until you have to go leave... feeling dirty and ashamed. Take a look at the staff, i couldn't find a single overweight one there. Whats the secret. If you can control yourself then the food is very good and the staff nice and the price reasonable ... Its whether you can contol yourself that's the question ... You have been warned.

I been there in last Saturday and i got sit upstairs and there is a boy called safal, he is very nice and humble person, nicely talk with everyone and try to manage everything properly. i want to give this review to safal as well and the environment is also very great and nice i enjoy a lot .I will like to visit again in future . Everyone should visit once in such a friendly Environment.

Great buffet place tucked away in the centre of Chester, nice food selection mostly Oriental & Indian. Staff are friendly & very proactive in collecting plates & getting drinks. I'd definitely go again. What would I change...? I'd drop the price for kids, it's a little too expensive for them imo when other buffet places offer it much cheaper for little ones. In general though very happy with my visit. Thx 👍🏼

Fantastic buffet, all food was brought out fresh, no replenishing on top of existing food, masses of choice & cooked brilliantly, everything we tried was delicious, can't wait to go back, if I had to find fault it would be that the tables are too close to each other but that has not put me off from returning, excellent :-)

Such a lovely place. Price is very reasonable. Staff are very helpful and kind. Paying 23.99 for buffet including tapaneki, sushi, chocolate fountain and all the food is so great. And 241 cocktail and cocktail at lunch and after 8 pm is even great. 😊

This place needs to start again food was warm at best . The bar was slow we had been there 15 mins before drink orders were taken. Waited a further 10 mins for it to arrive and it was disgusting not prepared well it was either a cocktail mix as it tasted syrupy or it hadn't been shaken as it was like a film of spirit on the top. The bathrooms were unclean a mass of hair in the urinals .. then the communal sink had a broken tap just lying in the sink. Avoid

This is a great buffet at a good price there is a wide range of food. Dinner is better but it's price reflexes this .

Panda Mami Chester World Buffet all you can eat. Great for families. Located close to the Roman amphitheatre. £14.99 each. Lots of uniformed staff cleaning tables and clearing up ring away if anything dropped on the floor by the buffet trays. Noticed if the containers were nearly empty they bought out a trolley with a new container of food and not just refill the old ones 👏👏👏 Depends if you like a buffet or not. All looked delicious and kids enjoyed the ice cream and sweets stand 😁. We tried a variety of foods and all tasted delicious. 8/10 👜 handbag restaurant review today. Smiley face emoji is hiding me filming 🤣

Lots of choices of food, I was stuffed after my first plate but went back for more later on

We came here for lunch today, we were met with a warm welcome and all the staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, especially the girl who waited on our table. We had our autistic daughter with us who doesn’t do well in noisy environments but it was so calm and relaxing in there that she managed to enjoy herself too. The good food and kind staff definitely make me want to return. I definitely recommend visiting this established.

Yesterday, my two friends and I visited Chester, planning to explore the Cathedral. Unfortunately, it was closed by the time we arrived, so we decided to take a stroll around town and find somewhere to eat. That’s when we came across Panda Mami—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the variety of food on offer was exceptional. We’ve been to several all-you-can-eat restaurants before, but this one truly stands out as the best we’ve experienced. The quality and freshness of the food exceeded our expectations, with a fantastic selection of dishes catering to different tastes. Everything was well presented, delicious, and constantly replenished. Whether you're a fan of Asian cuisine, grilled meats, seafood, or desserts, there’s something for everyone. We left feeling full and very satisfied, already talking about our next visit. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back.

Best all you can eat I have been to! Amazing quality food! Great customer service

Well what to say, we rang up and booked a table for 6.30, we arrived at 6.25 and our table wasn't ready for us and rather than names the maitre d had numbers on his sheet and asked us to take a seat and wait, 15 minutes later we were seated, the place was chaotic with some staff working at full capacity and other staff simply standing around talking to each other, I suppose it doesn't help that we were seated next to a drunk couple and there teenage daughter having an argument and on the other side of us three overweight men talking about there sexual conquests, then onto the buffet which felt like a scene from moses leading a mass exodus and the food was like something from the school canteen and overpriced which is a shame because I'm quite a foodie and partial to a Chinese buffet. On a positive note the Eton mess was excellent and the toilets were spotless. On the whole I'd score the place with a very fair 5/10. Simply too noisy and chaotic to enjoy a nice meal with my wife. Visited here last week for lunch. Booked a table before hand but plenty of room if you didn't. Great selection of food, even for the fussier people there will be something they like. Table service was great aswell and cleared your dirty plates so you could get more

Good food fairly priced for what you get, Chefs cooking on site were attentive to picky customer requests and allergens, 1 main thing i'd love to see is a more proffesional staff that will watch their tone when speaking and how they speak If you're in the area and not sure what to grab, Just go in here, plenty of selections to chose from, sushi, curries, pizzas and lasagne,bbq to icecream and sweets everything for the family.

Went here on Friday for the first time tryed to get in in the past always full. Can't believe how well organized the place is service was spot on and the food you could not fault, but a bit two busy but that shows how good the place is.

Not a bad little place. Food variety wasn't bad but a few things very over cooked and dry. Spring rolls were cold, as were chicken nuggets and onion rings. As it was a Saturday night it was busy so lots of food was empty or on the last bits. Puddings quite nice with a chocolate fountain, but should be labelled for allergens. Overall 3 out of 5

We were slightly late due to parking issues we tried several times to contact but were unable to as message on there phone saying they are not Answering as they are fully booked they gave table away after we showed attempts to call they magically found us a table

Arrived with only 45,mins until change over to evening menu. All good still hot and very tasty. Place was very clean and gent servicing tables was pleasant and active. Would recommend.

I had visited Panda Mami two days ago with some friends,and our experience was memorable, the food was truly delicious and my favorite was the chocolate fountain! I had the pleasure of being served by a wonderful Romanian host , and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. She patiently answered all our questions. Throughout the meal, she was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend visiting Panda Mami, not just for the delicious food but also for the outstanding hospitality provided by this lovely Romanian waitress.

We booked a table online for a Saturday evening. We arrived early to find quite a few people waiting. We sat until our turn which was actually the time we booked for. The staff were very attentive and the food choices plentiful. Drinks are ordered and brought to the table then you can help yourself to food as often as you want. There is a griddle area cooking prawns, chicken, beef and corn etc. A conveyer of moving plates of suchi and similar is a nice feature plus pizza and lasagne available too. Most of the dishes are Chinese and Indian based starters and mains with deserts, fruits and ice cream and a chocolate fountain to finish off with. An enjoyable experience although we did go at a busy time. A more relaxed quieter time may be less stressful but it didn’t spoil the evening.

The prawns were under cooked during one of lunch visit. They have to be careful with this. The lamb dishes have suddenly disappeared from the lunch menu

Amazing food and variety! I've been to only 3 or 4 A.Y.C.E places and this eas the best, food was really nice and has more pudding choices than any other I've been too! Unfortunately the ice cream machine stopped working before we could grab some! 100% would come back again! Atmosphere was good, tables are quite close to each other but you have enough room to get around, staff were great and clearing tables quickly! There is also a car park right next too it and it cost £5 for up to 2 hours which isn't too bad

We visited Panda Mami on a Saturday night around 7 pm. Even though we did not have a reservation, we were given a table within 15 minutes. The restaurant is split over two floors. We were seated on the upper floor. It could be better as once you have collected your food, you must go past the queuing people waiting for a table and up a spiral staircase. There was a good selection of different foods, including Indian and pizza. The Chinese selection was excellent, and there were also plenty of desserts. All of our food was very hot and fresh. Drinks were served quickly. The cost is around £23.00 per head, which is reasonable. The staff were busy but polite. Overall, we would visit again. My only advice would be to book in advance.

First time eating here for my birthday and the food is great plenty of variety and taste great to. Well worth the money and the staff are great to and it's well worth the money, definitely recommend this place.

Fool was delicious everything. And had so many many halal and vegetarian dishes to had. The service was excellent. All staffs were so friendly and helpful. Specially 🇧🇩 bangaldeshi one waiter brother he take care of our babys need and everything. We enjoyed our meal and full chester through their hospitality. They deserve to go back again

I've put a 3 because we were disappointed as when we got there for our booking for my daughters birthday around 1pm we were told the was no sushi and other things as they only put them on in the evening this does not state on the Website be booked for the sushi as my daughter had been before and loved it. Apart from this food was lovely and staff great but will go else where next time

I have been avoiding Panda Mami for several years, as the last time I went I was bitterly disappointed. Went back there today at the request of my kids, and the place is unrecognisable! The food was fresh and delicious, there was a wide variety of choices and the service was great. Will definitely go again.

Nice place, interesting food, rice, pasta, various fish, meat. I really liked good spicy chicken with spicy noodles. I recommend dropping by for dinner. The service was pretty cool. Prices also quite ok.

First time coming to Panda Mami and overall rather impressed. Fantastic selecting of Chinese and English food, including desserts. A few Thai dishes and Indian dishes were joined by a small sushi conveyer belt and a grill where you can order thin steaks and fish to be cooked, all included in the price. Value for money is good for the selection and the drinks aren't too expensive. My main issue with the food and the reason I gave it 3 out if five is that the duck was honestly the worst duck I have ever had. Halfway back to the table I could smell it and it didn't smell appetising at all. It wasn't crispy and was shredded to the level of sawdust. It honestly made me feel sick after I tried a tiny amount in a pancake. Overall decent experience but I won't rush back. The service was decent and friendly and the value for money was good. **Update - Response to Panda Mami** I appreciate you taking your time to respond to my review. We will definitely be returning as the selection was excellent and one dish didn't ruin our evening.

Excellent food, very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The food was hot and fresh, the choice of Chinese, Indian, Thai, Italian catered for every taste. The Sushi and grill cook was a delight! Food is absolutely lush here, so much different choices there will absolutely be something for anyone here. Staff are quick to remove finished plates/cutlery/glasses and staff are also quick to serve any drinks etc that is requested. Love this place. For the price it is absolutely fantastic.

Service very poor, receptionist was very rude answered the phone whilst dealing with us had a full blown conversation for about 7 minutes. Ordered drinks at table didnt arrive for 20 minutes had to go get them myself. But on the positive side food amazing , hot. Tasty great choice and was very clean .

Great tasting fusion food its all there. Crunchy, sweet, spicy, sour, sticky, fat, acidic, salty you name it. If you leave wanting more then you are doing it wrong as its eat all you want too your hearts content. 👌 Very hard working , freindly staff as theres plenty of hussle n bustle on the weekend. The desserts are on the cheaper side of the entire menu apart from the ice cream machine and chocolate fountain which is always kept flowing for the younger ones and those with a sweet tooth. Great great place to fill up. Wonderful.

It was a very busy place on Sunday lunchtime, so I'm not surprised at the noise level. The food was very nice indeed, and the service was attentive. Will definitely go again.

Never been so pestered when trying to enjoy a meal with my family.. I actually told the guy if u ask me again if I'm finished or try to take my plate even though I had not finished my food.. I'm not paying. I won't go again simple. They stand there staring at u waiting for you to finish. I'm paying I'm finished when I'm finished. Id never go back.

The best Chinese buffet I've ever been to, good quality food and great selection

Went there yesterday and loved it. Great food, loads of choice. Took a few minutes for us to be seated and I wish the empty plates had been taken away more quickly because the tables are relatively small and there was no space for empty and full plates. However, all in all, we had the best time there at lunchtime.

2nd time going today and can honestly say I won't be going back, 1st time I went I was really disappointed, food was bland, dry and some of it was cold, thought it mightve been a one off so left it a few months and went back today. Never again, all the food was left with lids up, going cold and dry, bearly any food in the trays, no boiled rice only fried. Waiting staff bearly giving you chance to finish your food before taking the plate, I really was hoping it would be different this time but it wasn't. I've been to better places for cheaper so I think I will just stick to those and I will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone

Food lovely very busy . Had to wait as certain dishes ran out. Lots of food wastage from people piling plates high then not eating it, sad to see.

Bit of a let down! Had no sushi or the frying station wasn’t on the deserts were poor normally full of deserts chocolate machine wasn’t on had marshmallows with chocolate splashes on them so only can imagine been left from the previous day

3 stars for the service. The seater lady was nice and smiling, friendly, welcoming. Asked for a quieter seat, but been informed that is not possible (however half of the seats were still free!). She seated us between lots of kids. Atmosphere 2 stars. The simple reason is that we felt like in a matchbox or a sardines tin. They tried to use every inch of the floor to push together as many people as possible in the restaurant. Literally when someone passes by our table we can see the front or their buttocks all the time. Frustrating! No natural lights, only the entrance gives a tiny hint of light. The food counters are scruffy, this place hosts about 200 people with one seat, but the food containers were empty, needed to wait for the stir-fry noodles and fried rice for 10 minutes 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not the end of the world but they could be more prepared. ADVICE Expect a lot of people by the time the restaurant opens. Book a table or be between the first ones who enter at opening time. Kids.. kids and again: kids…. Touching everything, sniffing the sweets and put them back on the counter. Parents let them to behave as they like. Adults.. scathing their hair, wiped the belly button, cleaning their teeth with their finger nails, then touching the food 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ Food Food wasn’t extraordinary. It was rather plain, boring and everything was very salty. The worse sushi I have ever eaten. It was room temperature, dry, tasteless. Also here I had the worst ice cream in my life. Cheap, watery just like the syrup (strawberry and chocolate). Looks huge and looks wide selection at the first sight but in reality only some basics. The York restaurant (Panda) did much better in my opinion. Go, Try and enjoy if you can! Oh the prices are in the sky! Great location, only a few streets away from town centre.

No water refills even though we asked multiple times

Everything was delicious. It's a really fun place to eat for any age group. There's disabled access and a lift up to the toilet. Drinks table service and staff are quick to remove plates you're finished with. A good variety of savoury and sweet, with the chocolate fountain and ice cream machine sure to excite kids.

We enjoyed our visit the other night x food was lovely. Bit expensive for more than one visit every few months or so. If it was £10-15 each I’d come more often x x my daughter enjoyed it to even the food and usually she very picky ha ha. Maybe put how spicy a dish is cause I accidentally ate a chilly still nice though. I’m sure we will come again. Thanks to all staff you were all great.

A really fun dining experience. Plenty of food options, including an incredible array of desserts with chocolate fountain, a fry up on demand counter, and multiple options of most buffet food you can think of. The buzz in the restaurant is exciting as every makes the decisions of what to eat next. Truly all you can eat. Plates are cleared quickly. We were a large group but were looked after well. Staff were active and friendly. Kid friendly. The dessert options were a smash hit! Worth the experience!

absolute terrible experience! We booked a table for 7pm and upon arriving were told that we wouldn’t be able to be seated for up to two hours, the lobby was full of other people in the same boat. why have a booking system if it isn’t upheld? Totally ruined the day.

I can't believe this is the first time we've been here, it's only 30 minute drive away. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Food is so nice, really good quality, I'm a lover of king prawns, they have plenty of them, the king prawn satay was delicious. Pepperoni pizza with stuffed crust was lovely. All the desserts were amazing especially the Eaton mess! My daughter and wife loved the chocolate fountain. Highly recommend Panda Mami, we will definitely be back!!

🐼 A nice find in the centre of Chester (they have branches in some other cities), just round the corner from our hotel. Very big, spacious and clean buffet restaurant. We didn't expect for there to be a 🍣 conveyor belt sushi section as well as the grill / live cooking station with a selection of meat, fish and veg cooked for you 🔥 Otherwise, there are mostly Asian dishes but in addition some Indian curries 🍛 naan, poppadoms as well as an Italian station with pizzas 🍕 and some cheeses, cured meats. To finish off, a fun chocolate fountain especially popular with the youngsters 🍫🫕 Reasonably priced, 22.99€ for weekends and evenings, cheaper M-F lunchtime. Friendly and attentive service.

Wow!! This was much better than I expected the food was all really tasty and all hot and fresh absolutely loads of choice when it came to the main dishes. The sweet and sour chicken was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere and I’ve tired a fair few including some expensive restaurants in china town Manchester.My only slight complaint if that some of the other customers would just push in front of you whilst you was trying to que for something. 100 percent be returning even tho I live an hours drive away. Please open one in Manchester.
