No water refills even though we asked multiple times

Everything was delicious. It's a really fun place to eat for any age group. There's disabled access and a lift up to the toilet. Drinks table service and staff are quick to remove plates you're finished with. A good variety of savoury and sweet, with the chocolate fountain and ice cream machine sure to excite kids.

We enjoyed our visit the other night x food was lovely. Bit expensive for more than one visit every few months or so. If it was £10-15 each I’d come more often x x my daughter enjoyed it to even the food and usually she very picky ha ha. Maybe put how spicy a dish is cause I accidentally ate a chilly still nice though. I’m sure we will come again. Thanks to all staff you were all great.

A really fun dining experience. Plenty of food options, including an incredible array of desserts with chocolate fountain, a fry up on demand counter, and multiple options of most buffet food you can think of. The buzz in the restaurant is exciting as every makes the decisions of what to eat next. Truly all you can eat. Plates are cleared quickly. We were a large group but were looked after well. Staff were active and friendly. Kid friendly. The dessert options were a smash hit! Worth the experience!

absolute terrible experience! We booked a table for 7pm and upon arriving were told that we wouldn’t be able to be seated for up to two hours, the lobby was full of other people in the same boat. why have a booking system if it isn’t upheld? Totally ruined the day.

I can't believe this is the first time we've been here, it's only 30 minute drive away. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Food is so nice, really good quality, I'm a lover of king prawns, they have plenty of them, the king prawn satay was delicious. Pepperoni pizza with stuffed crust was lovely. All the desserts were amazing especially the Eaton mess! My daughter and wife loved the chocolate fountain. Highly recommend Panda Mami, we will definitely be back!!

🐼 A nice find in the centre of Chester (they have branches in some other cities), just round the corner from our hotel. Very big, spacious and clean buffet restaurant. We didn't expect for there to be a 🍣 conveyor belt sushi section as well as the grill / live cooking station with a selection of meat, fish and veg cooked for you 🔥 Otherwise, there are mostly Asian dishes but in addition some Indian curries 🍛 naan, poppadoms as well as an Italian station with pizzas 🍕 and some cheeses, cured meats. To finish off, a fun chocolate fountain especially popular with the youngsters 🍫🫕 Reasonably priced, 22.99€ for weekends and evenings, cheaper M-F lunchtime. Friendly and attentive service.

Wow!! This was much better than I expected the food was all really tasty and all hot and fresh absolutely loads of choice when it came to the main dishes. The sweet and sour chicken was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere and I’ve tired a fair few including some expensive restaurants in china town Manchester.My only slight complaint if that some of the other customers would just push in front of you whilst you was trying to que for something. 100 percent be returning even tho I live an hours drive away. Please open one in Manchester.

Love this place ! They have it running to perfection, no matter how busy the restaurant, the food is truly amazing and so much to choose from , it’s a buffet style restaurant so all you can eat , the variety of puddings are lovely , and plenty of sweets plus a chocolate fountain for kids & big kids 😁 service is top , shown to a table asked if you have been before, drink order taken , and plates cleared as soon as they are finished with..it’s a busy place , I can see why , the atmosphere is so relaxed you can dress up or go casual , toilets are up a level they do have a lift for and it all is wheelchair accessible

Food not really special. The work is also not very hygienic. The tongs they use to grab the chicken are also used to grab the fish, shrimp and steak. We will never go back. There was barely anything for our vegetarian daughter-in-law to eat.

First visit to Panda Mami to try the afternoon buffet. Quiet on a Wednesday, staff friendly and restaurant clean. Plenty of choices, several curries, lots of Chinese dishes, Thai, pizza plus lots of others, I tried several and not disappointed by any. Many dessert choices plus ice cream. Great value at £13.99, drinks also reasonably priced. Recommend and will visit again when next in Chester.

Very limited food option and very pricey. Wouldn't recommend.

When arriving we were greeted and served very fast by a lovely Italian gentleman. He made sure to explain everything adequately, and made sure all was to our liking. Service speed was no issue, and all staff were very lovely, bar one woman who exchanged a few digs from across the room which made me feel rather uncomfortable. Food was amazing as expected, the only issues I found was some of the food where the chips were located were cold, and the Indian curries lacked flavour and tasted very watered down.

Fantastic choice of Chinese food Indian and my favourite sushi! Also, pizza and the salad bar were very nice! The choices were endless and lots of starters to choose from. The chocolate fountain was a huge hit woth the kids. Definitely recommend as there is something for everyone! We will be back

Lovely food, great service & amazing value for this day & age. £13.95 per head all you can eat at lunch time, I think you'd get more choice at night time but nonetheless was enough food to choose from. Thr greek salad was beautiful! Drinks reasonably priced too! Definitely recommend it, absolute bargain & lovely staff too.

General Manager from hell. Hilariously poor service offering in CH1. I would be horrified if the owners of this place refer to themselves as ‘restaurateurs’.

Nice enough front of house but food quality was cheap buffet quality made cheaply. Good selection though and a decent dessert section so you’d definitely find something you like. Food had a huge amount of salt content and did spot children at the end picking up handfuls of sweets from the buffet and putting them back 🤢

We were a group of 11, had a good time. Food was good, tasty, huge variety. Some of the popular meals were a bit on the low side cause it was busy, but got topped up. Owner checked on us and reminded us of timing near the end so we can for a last go. The 2 for 1 on cocktails was a nice surprise. The cocktails were tasty, but a bit weak on the alcohol - preferred that myself though. Would highly recommend, great value for lunch time.

Something a little different to what wew normally go for i.e sit downntable service. Hwiever, we would recommend this place. Last night was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. We have several neurodivergent tastes to think about when eating out and this place had something for everyone. The food is lovely! It was a good price as well for 5 adults eating out. The staff were helpful and polite. It was quite busy and a bit noisy but to be expected on a friday evening. Thankfully the table we were on was not too close to ther tables.

Visited here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The manager was very charming, helpful, genuinely a nice gentleman. There is plenty of choice from many different cultures. The sushi is freshly prepared in front of you. Personally I would have preferred the choice of chopsticks for the Chinese food it seems alien to me to use a knife and fork to eat with. My only criticism was that the duck for the pancakes was so incredibly dry I couldn't eat it,disappointing. Otherwise a good place for all you can eat, good value for money, good choice .

TERRIBLE!!! food was below average, cheap and tasteless. Service was diabolical, like robots. Grabbing at dishes before you'd finished eating. £100 for 2 adults and 2 kids, could have spent £30 in maccies and had a better meal. Will never return and would strongly advise anybody NOT to bother with this place.

Service was fab but the food was a let down for me, Tikka massala didn't even taste like one, Sweet and sour was too vinegary but the only thing I actually liked was the char sui pork.

We've been a few times before but had an exceptional time last week. Fantastic service, manager was very attentive and made for a great time!

Went on Sunday, the one in Nottingham is quite good when we last event went. This one is small, very cramped getting your food, the seating is on two levels and we were upstairs. The Tikka Masala Chicken was in the thinnest sauce I've ever seen. No pilau or basmati rice. I wasn't well that night and being in a hotel it wasn't good at all. My wife was thankfully OK. The main difference in food that we had is she didn't have the Masala or Tandoori Chicken. If I'm back in Chester I won't be returning. To date this is the first time I've been ill after going to an all you can eat.

Went for the first time yesterday and what a place! Food is well presented and so tasty and hot! Staff on hand to take dirty plates away quickly ready to go up for another plate or 2… very well managed. Definitely worth the visit when in the area!

The food and service were excellent. Buffet style restaurant that was well stocked with all dishes available to the end of service. Restaurant was clean and tidy and our table was cleared at regular intervals.

The food was amazing a great use of sauce as well . The portion sizes was just enough and the profiter roles are amazing . The only thing is that we got asked what we want to drink in the first 2 minutes of being here .

Would definitely recommend if you like buffets. Very good. This time the ice cream machine was out, which was annoying but the food and everything else was lovely

First time at Panda Mamia today, was not disappointed. Firstly the manager greeted us with the utmost respect, sat us down, took our drinks order and told us that we had 90 mins to eat. Went straight in for the starters, poppadums, prawn crackers, garlic bread. Too many to choose from and delicious, the mains selection is huge, I had beef in black bean sauce with egg fried rice and 6 slices of pepperoni pizza, I ate until my tummy hurt, I don’t eat desserts but the ice cream looks amazing, as do the sweets and the cakes and not forgetting marshmallows that you can dip in the chocolate fountain. The cost for my myself, wife and son was £70 and it was absolutely worth it. Definitely recommend.

Visited Friday 7th June. However just sat down and unfortunately the ceiling across from us promptly fell in drenching a customer fully with dirty water from the toilets above. The smell was horrendous and will all promptly left. Very disappointed as my party of 4 guests were really looking forward to dining there.

Came for my birthday for a lunchtime meal. Check-in was nice and swift and shown to table quickly with drinks ready in a few minutes of sit down. Food I felt was varied and very tasty, it was a shame the charocal grill wasn't on but we knew b4 hand it's not on for a lunchtime. The deserts were great 👍 We will return for sure

I had the weekday all you can eat lunch at £13.99. the selection is decent, across several cuisines. He service is friendly and efficient. The food offering was solid and you really can't expect too much at the price - it's just a bit of a pity that there wasn't a single dish that I liked enough to have a second helping. All in all, OKish.

I always bring my Goddaughter here for her birthday treat, we absolutely love it! The selection of food on display is unbelievable & it's always top quality, plenty full & tasty. The desserts are the best bit especially the chocolate fountain. Lillie has autism & the staff are lovely to her, even bringing her a birthday cake & singing happy birthday. Great value for money, lovely staff...definitely worth a visit 💗

This is the second time visiting this restaurant and both times its been spot on!! The staff are lovely,so helpful and happy. Very attentive during our time there. Then there the food... bloody delicious! It's fresh, it's hot and it tastes great! The Teppanyaki for us was the best bit. The chef was fun and interacted with us, and the food was once again delicious. Choice of food throughout the restaurant was great, and we never qued once. By far a better world buffet experience than the more popular chain Cosmo where we have had nothing but bad experiences! Panda Mami every single time, please 😃

Excellent choice and very reasonably priced

The food was cold and i had food poisoning when i got home, i found pieces of meat in the vegetable noodles and one pair of tongs are used for multiple different food items, most of which with different allergens. The desserts were also all unlabelled so i had no idea what half of them were. Would not recommend, especially not for any vegetarians or vegans. And not for the price too! £23.99 per person for room temperature, dry, flavourless food is insane!

Food average service fairly good but when you come to pay they charge full price £23.99 plus drinks for a ten year old saying she is over the height limit, Really. Went to a similar buffet our young one charged half price. Will not go again to Panda Mani. Most disappointing.

The food was lovely and there were lots of choices as it is an all you can eat place. The price was great, however the place itself was a bit small compared to other restaurants I've been to. I would recommend.

Great food, unfortunately some of the staff need to learn to greet paying customers with a smile and to communicate a little even if they don't want to be there. Otherwise a wonderful experience.

such a lovely place been here a few times but some of the staff are a little stingy. one of the chefs gave my boyfriend a dirty look when he asked the other chef for a steak knife that they don’t provide and they didn’t know where they were? £13 each is very good for an all you can eat, but at night time the price is £23 each for a few more things to eat, not really a good deal. otherwise nice decor, food is amazing!

Saw the poster in the window from the city walls, advertising all you could eat for £5.00 less each than we were actually charged! We questioned the bill to be told the prices were on the door, which all our party failed to notice! Shame all the pricing was not the same!

Their food is really very salty, their shrimps are smelly and their tempura is watery😑🙄 and they are too expensive

My family group of 16 of us went here for dinner 11th March. We didn't even get back to our cars when two of the group were being sick or having diarrhea. My daughter in law was found sitting on the toilet floor. That night 14 of the 16 were very sick. My Mrs and I escaped illness, maybe because we didn't have prawns, not sure. The restaurant response... Delays, then sent out a complaint form and then responded to it by saying none of that counts unless a doctor writes a letter. Not sure what world they're living in but have you tried getting anything out of the NHS lately, let alone a dispute between customers and bad restaurants. Manager says the foods piping hot... Nah, don't believe me then go try.... It was ALL Luke warm, beware the rice. £300 literally down the toilet, at least we're still alive. In response to the companies reply... After days of being misled and fobbed off by management we have no intention of jumping through any more hoops. If staff have no recollection of vomiting at the premises or a collapse in the toilet then there are serious problems there. Inviting the local health dept in after a clean up and thorough preparation is commendable 🤣, well done you!

Food is mediocre to say the least, buffet trays not replaced regularly, so left waiting for quite a while for the staff to change them out. Spring rolls were worse than the cheap ones from Iceland same as most of the onion rings, chicken wings etc. Puddings weren't labeled so if not obvious then you don't know what your getting. Unable to try most of the food because of food allergies, they never asked about allergies or put notices up possible ingredients that cause allergies. Will never return very disappointed .

Visited here this weekend and booked in advance. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was brilliant! Would definitely recommend if you love your Chinese food as most dishes are centred around this style of cuisine. There was a small pizza section and a curry section with all the rice and breads needed. There was a section for chicken nuggets and that sort of thing incase you visit with kids and they don't fancy anything adventurous. The dessert section was great with plenty of choice also. Upon arrival we were told they were busy and that we would have to sit upstairs. This was a room full of tables and chairs but all food was downstairs so this was a little off putting as going up and down stairs while trying to get your moneys worth of a buffet can be hard work but the atmosphere here was very nice and people were very polite as these places can sometimes be chaos. I would recommend booking in advance if you plan to go here as it was very busy when we arrived at 7.30pm. Great food though and we were stuffed afterwards!

This was Our first visit to panda mami and it was a very good experience, service was first class, food was excellent, atmosphere lovely, the place was immaculate. The selection of food was amazing and plentiful. We will definitely return. Excellent value for money. Thank you panda mami for a pleasant afternoon.

My favourite restaurant, nice staff and everytime when I've been there I was felling like in my house, very nice place and foods its absolutely amazing.

OVER PRICED POOR QAULITY SCHOOL DINING £50 for two people is well over priced unless your obese and can devour 10 plates of food. I felt robbed handing over £50 for my food which consisted of some sushi some broccoli, and a few cubes of cake. Misses had noodles rice chips some chicken. The quality is just rushed out food sat in deep tins for hours. Only decent and fresh is the sushi hand made and put on a conveyor belt but is basic stuff. And grill station which is ran by someone who doesn’t speak English and doesn’t know what he’s doing, I ask him is this squid and next thing he’s doing is cooking it me, I only asked him. And trying to get him to put right food with right stir fry was hard work, I said can you put fish with noodles but he just did not understand at all any English. Place is ran by a greedy Chinese women at till taking in 40k easy on a Saturday. Place seats around 150 seats and every seat was full paying £25 pp. x that by an average of 10 hrs opening. 250 per seat per day. Add drinks on let’s say another 5k. And that’s just Saturday they can close rest of week on that income. Well there you go one very happy Chinese family raking in gold.

I came here last Friday and I was very disappointed 😞 1st of all customer service was not good, no communication with us; it took 20 minutes for our drinks to come, when we finally got our drinks we went round to the food, don't get me wrong but some of the food was lovely but the lasagne was cold, the chocolate fountain was absolutely messy and so unhygienic, to top it off there was a customer arguing with a manager and it just made me and my friends feel very awkward, we was then wanting more drinks for then to not even show up, considering I paid 21.99 for my buffet it was not worth it as I wanted the chocolate fountain, I wish I went in the afternoon on a week day as its much better, but really we shouldn't of paid them prices when I never got what I wanted, and to top it off I had a bad belly for a few days, so unfortunately panda mami you get 1 stars from me and they also refused to give us a refund ect when we spend over 130 pounds, really not worth it

Well what can I say, was very disappointed used to come here all the time when it was Cosmo loved it always a great choice of food and nice and clean areas. But went here today and it was shocking not a great choice of food, most of it looked like it had been out for ages looked all dry and horrible. And what I did have was not really that nice ay all. You have to pay before you sit down and there are no refill drinks like there was when it was Cosmo. my bill was £51 for me and my son which was a total ripoff for the standard of food that was on offer won't be going back again. 90% food cold and bland worst place I have ever eaten

Cool. I highly recommend. Good prices, delicious food - especially the one prepared on the stove - where you wait a little - but it's worth it. You can enter by appointment, but it is worth at least two or three visits. Panda mami Chester UK - the perfect place for an exceptional culinary evening. I came back almost weekly. It is the ideal place to celebrate your birthday or to spend time at the table with family or friends. I highly recommend cooking on the stove.

Really glad we choose here, very close to our hotel but kinda hidden, when we arrived we were greeted and seated straight away... drinks were delivered quickly, the staff are busy clearing and relaying and refreshing things... It wasn't too busy but food was being refreshed quickly, the grill was fab, had chicken,steak and prawns... My son enjoyed the sushi, made there and then and the dessert section... Overall very good value, drinks are reasonable priced.. Service was good, staff very attentive, shame we don't have one in Manchester

One of the worst places i’ve ever eaten, terrible food. Literally just a takeaway but it’s been sitting around. No space between tables. Overbooked. No atmosphere. I almost walked out without paying. Not even worth the cheap price.

Not great. Food trays were not kept updated so never once did I walk the line and see everything available. The food was mediocre at best, the popcorn chicken was very very low quality and the spring rolls tasted like the cheap frozen supermarket ones. Service was good, selection of drinks good. Restaurant feels like a food court £35 a person with a few drinks so not even that cheap really Won't be back

Our first visit to this buffet restaurant and it was very good. Service was excellent with friendly staff. The choice of food was very good for what you are paying and none of us had any complaints. The food is very good so I definately recommend this restaurant. Ideal for lunch or dinner and suitable for children and is accessible.

So we went here to eat on a Sunday at 4pm I would not eat here again, some of the 1 star reviews you see out of the thousands, people think that “oh they’re obviously picky” or whatever. But I won’t be coming here ever again. Better to LIST what was wrong to save myself an hour. - 3 times as soon as we sat down we got asked about drinks within the first 5 minutes. Then didn’t get asked at all for the rest of our meal?? -The chef in the centre doing the live cooking was picking and blowing his nose! - Little fruit flies everywhere! Managed to catch one of them, you’ll see that in the photos. -The food was awful -Nothing in the dessert section was labelled Not a single plate that we had, left our table empty. Indian section curries were bland and watery, The duck which you’d use for pancakes was dry as hell. Mostly everything wasn’t what we expected at all especially looking at the reviews And if the restaurant sees this, please don’t offer me discount to return like every other bad egg restaurant because I definitely won’t be coming back.

I would avoid going to this place if you have dietary requirements or choices. I recently dined at the restaurant 04/02 and was disappointed with the limited vegetarian options, especially considering the high price of £22. The one and only vegetarian dish I tried tasted subpar, leaving me unsatisfied with the overall dining experience. I never managed to finish one plate of food and after my partner had spoken to management to try and strike a deal on price there was no budge I would advise being more diverse for people

Staff were very friendly. Lots off different foods to choose from. Very clean throughout the place. Food really hot. Staff went out their way to make sure we were happy.

Best Chinese buffet I've ever been too food all delicious selections are amazing definitely highly recommend. Will definitely return.
