I think I've just eating parting the worst breakfastbive ever ate in my life, mush soggy hash browns, 1 piece of bacon on the "eggnormous" breakfast, sausages arr cheap frozen ones. The cup of tea was the only good thing about it. The woman who runs the cafe has her coat hanging up, it's pink but so dirty it's grey and brown round the cuffs and bottom, on show for customers to see. I think it's time this place closed it's doors. feel sorry for her but it's terrible.

I used to visit this cafe, but not been since last November 2023. Usually had sandwiches, but occasionally the bread was out-of-date. Defo not a 5 star cafe. The owner smiled occasionally and was friendly. Have found a better place to go for lunch, so won't be visiting Pam's Pantry again.

Absolutely horrendous. The place was cold and our meal wasn’t at all good. It wasn’t value for money and the coffee tasted so watered down.

We saw a sign on the main street and decided to give it a try, locals sat outside is usually a good sign that it's popular and good. How wrong were we. Ordered 2 breakfast and pot of tea for two. The tea came first with all the cutlery for the meal as you would expect. However, there were no spoons for the tea. When I asked for tea spoons I was blatantly ignore, maybe the owner is slightly deaf and didn't hear me but she did look up and just grunted. As for the breakfast apart from the poor quality produce 1 sausage, 1 slice of bacon, the hash brown was raw and soggy and everything was greasy even the luke warm beans. I boosted the stars to 2 for serving bury black pudding 1 slice BTW. Lesson learnt won't go back.

As per the title, the owner definitely needs to up thier game. Cafe is cluttered, badly laid out and totally lacking atmosphere. The food is mediocre. The tray that the cutlery and condiments came on was way overdue a wash. Disappointed as we wanted to support a small local business.

We were walking past and decided to try the cafe to support a local business. I have to agree with the previous reviews. When I went up to order, the older lady behind the till wasn’t pleasant at all and didn’t even say hello. I am guessing she is Pam? I felt very unwelcome before I had even ordered. No apology for items unavailable, and when she put the food down she didn’t say a word then walked away. Being there seemed to put her out. Will not recommend to anybody and will not be returning. £1.80 for a can of coke and £5.90 for a small English breakfast.

Saw a sign on Main Street advertising Pam’s and thought we should support a local business, sadly big mistake! The breakfast that I had included an egg and beans that had been kept warm for several hours and a single mushroom the size of a 10p piece but cut into four pieces. My wife had the quiche and salad which wasn’t much better. We hoped to wash our meals down with tea for two however the rather large tea pot contained just one tea bag which made the tea very, very weak! We gave up at this point and went to Costa instead.

We called in here as we thought it looked a cute little cafe, it was ok, nothing special, basic really The woman who was behind the counter, didn’t acknowledge us, we said hello, but she gave a forced smile. The drinks came and was ok, my husband ordered a cheese doorstop sandwich, he said it was fine. The whole place needs a good tidy up, clutter everywhere, it wasn’t very appealing, we stayed out of being polite. I wouldn’t recommend this place, it’s quite old fashioned and not very friendly.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL We came aware of this little cafe by a sign situated on lord street, we thought we would give it a try and support some of the side street cafes as these usually get lost within the busy main street cafes. WOW WHAT A MISTAKE. We sat down at a table, to be told it was reserved (no sign to say so) may i add the cafe was completely empty! Other than ourselves 2 adults and a child. We moved tables ordered food and it was awful!! Do not eat here food was totally unediable and cost 25 pounds for 2 breakfast and tea and coffee! Ladies toilet not working with a chair in the doorway saying to use mens!

Visited with my husband whilst away for a couple of days. Horrible atmosphere when you walk in by the lady owner but gave it benefit of the doubt. I ordered sausage and mash with onion gravy husband ordered jacket potato with beans and cheese. Mash was ‘smash’ and sausages were microwaved. It came in the smallest plate known to man with the biggest jug of onion gravy. Overpriced rubbish. Dirty cutlery. Lady needs to retire clearly not happy with what she is doing. Such a shame as there was a bill board 100 yards away which seemed inviting. Would not recommend this place at all.

called Monday luchtime 15th August 2022. Just wanted a sandwich and didnt want Costa for a change. This cafe is a minutes walk up a side street of the main drag. Good choice, lovely sandwich and very well priced. Seating was a bit tight but ok. Old fashioned shop but with great value.

Working from a local hotel and needed some lunch, stumbled across Pam’s pantry. I have never in my life felt so unwelcome in someone’s cafe/business, you could cut the tension with a knife. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese (you’d think I’d asked her for a kidney) anyway I ignored the awkward rudeness and waited for my food. Much to my disappointment my microwaved new potato arrived without so much as a leaf of lettuce alongside it and honestly looked like prison food. I’d never usually leave a bad review but Pam you ruined my chakra hun and quite frankly my afternoon. My advice would be to shut up shop and go and do something that makes you happy, you’d make a great drs receptionist! All the best xoxo

Off the main strip. I would like to say that i had never tried hotpot in my life and that Pam's pantry served the best hotpot in the world. Sadly she didn't have any so i cannot. The cream tea was nice though.

My first visit to a Pound Bakery cafe and my last! I was in the shopping centre on business and instantly regretted ordering a Coffee as soon as the words came out of my mouth. Lady who served me wasn’t very pleasant and acted like I was putting her out by ordering. Chairs outside were sticky even though it was 9am so the start of the day and the mug I received wasn’t very clean. I couldn’t drink it and walked away after seconds of sitting down. The counter was grubby and not what you expect from a food supplier. I hate writing reviews and not having any positives to share but all I can is…. it was grim

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED IN N&N TREATS ordered some treat for my kids at 5.50pm the Southport eats app said it would be delivered by 6.50pm so I thought an hour abit long but fair enough it’s the weekend must be busy. I checked back on the app and hour later for it to say 7.50pm so an extra hour. Now 2 hours to make waffles 🙈 I rang the shop an they said it wouldn’t be that long they was waiting on driver to get back to the shop. To then at 7.55pm gets a phone call off the delivery driver to say he has just realised as he arrived by my house that there has been a f**k up (his words) left the order in the shop! He said he had rang the shop an they will make some fresh ones and he will deliver back I said noway my kids are going to bed soon so cancel the order. So we’re 2 hours down no treats an I have to wait 3 days for a refund. FUMING!!😡

We had my daughters wedding reception here on Saturday, it was an amazing day. The atmosphere and the staff %100 helped to make this day as amazing as it was. The waitresses worked so hard with a continual smiles and the food was hot fresh and tasty. Bar staff also friendly and busy (as we drunk a lot )they were polite and service brilliant. Have no qualms in saying a big “Thankyou “ to all staff at Reuters you helped make the day perfect. X

Went to kiosk a couple of months ago, was dissatisfied with selection of cakes, and coffee was cold. Maybe I called at a bad time to miss the cakes but I will not be returning to find out, overall disappointed.
