It a nice food but before it was better with better portion .I went last week was odisappointed, they made smaller portion for the same price as before.will never be back again

Fantastic! If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern food in Glasgow, Palm Tree is the spot! We found it through a Google search and thought we’d give it a try based on the reviews—thankfully, we did! We had the meat and rice and chicken and rice (there are so many different types to choose from), and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and you can tell the dishes are made with care. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which added to the great atmosphere. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the Kunafa—it’s perfectly sweet and the ideal way to finish the meal. Highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a Yemeni restaurant that I tried in Glasgow. In all honesty, it is the most beautiful and delicious Yemeni restaurant I have ever been to in any of the cities in Britain that I visited. We ordered many dishes, and each one was tastier and tastier than the next. Mashallah. I thank the waiter, Jawad. He was very kind, polite, and kind. He served us more than wonderfully, and he had one person with him. Unfortunately, we haven't asked about its name yet...but really, thank God for the restaurant. I hope to visit it again before I return Saudi Arabia ::(

As a local guide, I’m not exaggerating if I rate Palmtree kitchen as one of the best restaurants not only in Glasgow but in Scotland for many reasons. The main thing is the extremely high value for money and the atmosphere staff made. However, I’ll mention why we all liked this restaurant so much: 1- very reasonable prices where it costs around £10 on average for a decent size meal. 2- staff is very friendly, supportive and welcoming, really want to say thank you to Murtada and Jawad. 3- availability of a wide range of dishes, Fahsa, Mandi, Zuribian, Madfon/Henez, and more. 4- tables and furniture are authentic and sufficient spaces to enjoy a nice meal. 5- available parking nearby. 6- availability of toilets. 7- serving tap water. 8- staff are keen to ensure is fine and offer to help if there is any minor issue. 9- traditional music in the background and TV So overall, 10/10 and as a local guide I highly recommend trying the Palmtree if you are in Glasgow or nearby.

One of My favorite restaurants in Glasgow. We get food weekly from there and never been disappointed. Good collection of breakfast dishes and lunch options. Halal as well.

Loved it here! Large portions at very reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere with lots of families coming for a meal on Sunday. Food tasted amazing and we had complimentary lamb soup as well as a starter. I loved the ayran with mint 🍃🍃

Food is perfect, prices are perfect. Yemeni people are in general very welcoming and kind. I was visiting the city and wanted to have a halal dinner, so I spent the whole trip nights in that restaurant. Don't forget to try their limon mint and their karak tea

Avoid!! Food was very poor burnt food and microwaved chicken not the one. I went here after hearing reviews that this was the best place in Scotland. Visited from Manchester and I was highly disappointed! Only time the staff was friendly was at the time of payment and overcharged me which I noticed and had rectified!

I recently visited Palmtree Restaurant and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was delicious, with huge portions and incredible flavors. The Chicken Zurbian and Lamb Mandi were standout dishes, and the Falafel and Sambusa starters were a delight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Special shoutout to the manager, Esam and Ibrahim , who made sure our dining experience was top-notch. His hospitality and genuine care for the customers truly set this restaurant apart. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Palmtree to all our friends and family!

It is really Yamani taste, the food here is absolutely delicious! Mandi is not mandi, and Lebanese bread has nothing to do with Yemeni food, and what is the taste of it? This is a drink, so God is your agent, the Karmalwa restaurant is ruining, the quality is deteriorating, and it is losing the quality of Yemeni food.

Delicious flavoursome dishes - the lamb fahasa was so good, as was the mixed mezze and shatta, mint & lemon drink - all with excellent service. Topped off with mint tea and Yemeni coffee.

As soon as you walk in you are pretty much in the middle east..that's how authentic this place is. Been 3 times now twice for breakfast and once for lunch and all 3 times the food was faultless. The atmosphere when I've been in has been quiet with the music playing which I found myself head bobbing to whilst eating but I imagine in evenings the place livens up. Service was excellent Got the lamb liver first time round I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea but I urge you to try it and judge for yourself was really tasty. 2nd time I got the lamb mandi where the lamb was falling off the bone with zero effort was very tasty once again came with a yogurt sauce and a fresh tomato sort of dip/sauce which was lovely when mixed with the lamb and rice. 3rd time I got the lamb muqalqal (on breakfast menu..basically stir feied lamb) it once again was tasty...not spicy but the subtle aromas which compliment the meat. I had to add extra salt aside from that it was great once again. Next time I will try a couple more things from the main menu. Price wise I'd say it is very reasonable in this day and age 2024. Very impressed

Every dish I’ve tried has been fresh and flavourful. I highly recommend their lamb biryani. It is one of the few places in Glasgow who know how to properly cook lamb. Portion sizes are generous, and the pricing is fair for the quality you get.

October 2024 I had breakfast in this Yemeni restaurant. I ordered shakshuka 9/10, omelette 9/10, liver 8/10, beans 7/10, service 9/10, the place is comfortable.

As a student living in Glasgow, I always find myself craving food that reminds me of home, and Palm Tree Kitchen delivers just that! The flavors instantly took me back, and it truly felt like a taste of home. The food is absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try. It smelled so amazing that I couldn’t resist digging in right away, and completely forgot to take any pictures—sorry, but it was just too good to wait!

We always have their Kabsa and love it. I asked for something spicy so they made their usual spicy sauce extra spicy for us. It was really good. Their service, food and prices are excellent.
