I have tried much better Yemeni food in Manchester. It was good but not very good. Yemeni and other Arabs cuisines are brilliant when it comes to taste, but this one is just above average. I don't think I would try again n again, but it's good if you have not tried some brilliant places for the same cuisine.

we came here after passing it on our way home every day - so glad we finally tried it!!! we didn’t realize we were going for our meal during iftar, but they welcomed us to our table all the same and served wonderful food. the vegetarian options were great from the “add-ons” section, was huge portions for £4.99. and the £20 meal was so filling as well. incredibly worth the money, we will definitely be back!!!

One step into the place and you will be greeted with a familiar atmosphere because of the presence of families enjoying their meals. Suffice to say, the food we had was delicious and I am sure anything you order will be good, it was such a lovely meal!

Looking for somewhere to eat before a gig. The place looked interesting...it was! Great service, coffee and tea given during meal. Food was delicious, waiters attentive and funny. Full of locals, so it must be good!

Fantastic restaurant: great food, great service, great value. We loved the Ramadan menu as it allowed us to try a variety of courses. Can't wait to come back and try more delicious food when the menu changes.

Had a lovely lunchtime meal here. The place was bustling with people dropping in for lunch. We shared a meze platter and one of the lamb & rice dishes. Everything was excellent and very friendly, welcoming service. Highly recommended.

Ordered tea, raita, lentil soup and chicken mandi. Chicken mandis chicken tasted strange, like it wasn't halal chicken. And because I'm pakistani, I assumed this was going to be flavour-packed cuz it mentioned 'spices'. It was pretty tasteless. Lentil soup was nice and the chai as well. Everything else...no.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff,the Kabsa and Mandi was cooked to perfection , with tender ,flavourful meat that melted in my mouth.The rice was fragrant and well seasoned, Every bite was rich in authentic yemeni spices.The ambience was just as impressive.Overall ,the combination of delicious food ,Good service and a relaxing ambience .

I have been visiting this restaurant for a year or more. The food was excellent and now I eat it. May God continue to bless. I don’t know what has changed. Can we change the cook? I am now searching for another Yemeni restaurant.

This is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow! I come here for special occasions and it never disappoints. Everything is good here! Favourite dish is the lamb biryani, though the chicken biryani is also an excellent choice. Tabouleh, fatoosh, and kunafeh are also my favourites here. My partner is vegetarian and loves to order sides like the vine leaves, babaganoush, and the saltah. He says “I like that it comes out sizzling hot in the dish and I like the combination of salty and sour flavours and it’s a satisfying portion.” The lamb biryani is delicious and spicy and the meat is so fresh and tender. I love the wee broth and dips that come out before the meal as well - I’d recommend saving the broth to eat with your rice! Staff is very lovely and accommodating - they are the nicest guys. Highly recommend eating in because the interior is lovely, but we did takeaway from here once for a quiet Eid dinner at home and it was just as fantastic.

Definitely will be back to eat my way around the very fragrant and delicious menu. Very accessible with lots of options and food is also very fresh. Fantastic! If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern food in Glasgow, Palm Tree is the spot! We found it through a Google search and thought we’d give it a try based on the reviews—thankfully, we did! We had the meat and rice and chicken and rice (there are so many different types to choose from), and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and you can tell the dishes are made with care. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which added to the great atmosphere. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the Kunafa—it’s perfectly sweet and the ideal way to finish the meal. Highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a Yemeni restaurant that I tried in Glasgow. In all honesty, it is the most beautiful and delicious Yemeni restaurant I have ever been to in any of the cities in Britain that I visited. We ordered many dishes, and each one was tastier and tastier than the next. Mashallah. I thank the waiter, Jawad. He was very kind, polite, and kind. He served us more than wonderfully, and he had one person with him. Unfortunately, we haven't asked about its name yet...but really, thank God for the restaurant. I hope to visit it again before I return Saudi Arabia ::(

As a local guide, I’m not exaggerating if I rate Palmtree kitchen as one of the best restaurants not only in Glasgow but in Scotland for many reasons. The main thing is the extremely high value for money and the atmosphere staff made. However, I’ll mention why we all liked this restaurant so much: 1- very reasonable prices where it costs around £10 on average for a decent size meal. 2- staff is very friendly, supportive and welcoming, really want to say thank you to Murtada and Jawad. 3- availability of a wide range of dishes, Fahsa, Mandi, Zuribian, Madfon/Henez, and more. 4- tables and furniture are authentic and sufficient spaces to enjoy a nice meal. 5- available parking nearby. 6- availability of toilets. 7- serving tap water. 8- staff are keen to ensure is fine and offer to help if there is any minor issue. 9- traditional music in the background and TV So overall, 10/10 and as a local guide I highly recommend trying the Palmtree if you are in Glasgow or nearby.

Loved it here! Large portions at very reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere with lots of families coming for a meal on Sunday. Food tasted amazing and we had complimentary lamb soup as well as a starter. I loved the ayran with mint 🍃🍃

Avoid!! Food was very poor burnt food and microwaved chicken not the one. I went here after hearing reviews that this was the best place in Scotland. Visited from Manchester and I was highly disappointed! Only time the staff was friendly was at the time of payment and overcharged me which I noticed and had rectified!

I recently visited Palmtree Restaurant and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was delicious, with huge portions and incredible flavors. The Chicken Zurbian and Lamb Mandi were standout dishes, and the Falafel and Sambusa starters were a delight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Special shoutout to the manager, Esam and Ibrahim , who made sure our dining experience was top-notch. His hospitality and genuine care for the customers truly set this restaurant apart. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Palmtree to all our friends and family!
