Suissi Vegan Kitchen in Glasgow City

My partner brought me here for my birthday earlier in the month! I had had a very stressful day and was feeling quite overstimulated when I sat down in the restaurant. My partner asked and the staff happily moved us to a booth so we could sit in a quieter spot side-by-side. The food is delicious! Possibly the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I’m still thinking about it, and we will definitely be regularly making the commute from Edinburgh on the train to eat here again. Also, if you tell them in advance it’s your birthday they sing you a little song and bring you a dessert!

This place is incredible! The service was fantastic, we were given water from the get go and once we'd ordered our food it was with us super quickly. We had the black bean tofu, curry laksa with yellow noodles and a side of wontons and salt and chilli chips to share. Incredibly tasty, portions were great - seriously can't even fault it! The only place I've ever felt the value was excellent enough to leave a tip (with our whole meal only £17pp), and as a student thats a great sign 😁 10/10, we'll absolutely be back!

This is my favourite restaurant to go to when visiting Glasgow. I particularly like their creative use of mushrooms, but everything I've had has been excellent, and not like anything I've had elsewhere. The people who run it are also incredibly kind and helpful. On my last visit, the train up to Glasgow was delayed so we didn't get to the restaurant until about two hours after my booking. We kept in touch and they very kindly fitted us in despite the restaurant being very full on a Friday night, even looking after our luggage for us. Can't wait to go back.

Probably one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! Me and my best friend came to Suissi’s kitchen for my bday. Not only did they write a birthday wish on a board above our table, they also offered to take me and friend’s pictures, then they also wrote happy birthday on my dessert. I felt very special and all these acts of kindness made me so happy. Apart from them going the extra mile with making me feel special, the rest of the experience was amazing. Our water was constantly topped up, the service was really fast, the food was absolutely fabulous, and most importantly everyone who worked there seemed genuinely happy to be there. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely become a regular on my list during my trips to Glasgow. Additionally, you should totally try the black sesame ice cream it’s luscious! ❤️

Would give this place more than 5 stars. I knew it had to be good when we arrived at opening time and there was a queue of people waiting. We had lettuce wraps, Cantonese crispy noodles and szechuan tofu. Incredible food and the service was also excellent - our new favourite restaurant.

We are absolutely thrilled… The food was fantastic—prepared with love, perfectly balanced in flavor, and simply a delight. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel completely at ease. An experience we will remember for a long time! Tonight was, my first ever experience, of vegan dining, which was at Suissi Vegan Kitchen; the experience now being, my best ever memory, of beautifully delicious freshly-cooked food; the overall presentation was astounding, the cuisine and the attentive service, was first-class, and I will definitely be back.

Ordered the sweet corn + tofu soup, tempeh bao, laksa with ramen and the ice cream. Everything was great, delicious, staffs were friendly and helpful. Not being criticize only a tiny point but i think is impotent to point out that the wooden spoon have the taste of the dish soap with it and it kinda made an interruption between the full enjoyment of the food. Overall it was the best laksa i have had in UK.

This place is a revelation. Vegan that is just delicious. No “for a vegan place.” No caveats whatsoever. Some of the menu is spicy delicious and some is more subtle. But nothing is anything short of amazing. I’m planning to come back to Scotland just to eat here again. The manager is so friendly and charming. Just plain awesome.

My new favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Delicious, authentic food. The waiting staff are very friendly. The tempeh bao bun was absolutely lovely. Service is very, very quick- the fastest service I’ve ever had in fact. I was served my entire order genuinely within about 5 minutes. I ordered the lotus root and pickled black bean for a starter and the Szechuan tofu and rainbow rice as a main. They were both delicious. The chrysanthemum and goji berry tea was so sweet. I appreciate how they don’t use a tea bag, but actual flowers and berries so you get the whole flavour. The jackfruit fritters and ice cream were absolutely divine- the jackfruit tasted fresh. Even the garnish was excellent. The only downside is that the 10p takeaway box which I got for the Szechuan tofu disintegrated while being transported in my car, but I appreciate the eco-friendly option of a cardboard box instead of plastic takeaway tubs. If you have a smaller appetite I would recommend bringing your own container.

Suissi Vegan Kitchen is The MUST everytime I'm in Glasgow. Absolutely delicious food, great drinks from beers to wine to cocktails and the best service. The Lotus root crisps and Acar [At-Jah] are to die for as well as the Laksa curry soup. It's always the best experience in with Suissi Vegan Kitchen 🍜💚

I was here about 2 months ago with my Malaysian friend, and I still tell people about the dinner I had here! My friend and I shared our starters. We ordered achar, which was super fresh and hit a good spice level. We also had XO sauce carrot cake, which was just perfection on a plate: super soft and tender cubes of carrot cake, charred to perfection on all sides. Absolute star of the meal, but I believe it was on their temporary holidays menu. Hope they make it a staple. For my main I had laksa, and while it wasn't as good as the vegetarian laksa I used to get at Marina Square back home in Singapore, it was comforting and rich and spicy and delicious. My friend had Cantonese crispy noodles, and aside from him wanting to have little bit more broth with it, it was perfect: crispy and flavourful. We shared some pisang goreng for desert, and that was very tasty as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We were given excellent service. Will definitely plan my next visit to Glasgow such that I can have at least one other meal at this place.

Without doubt, the best meal & experience I have ever enjoyed in any type of restaurant, anywhere. As a vegetarian, options are usually limited when going out for food and I rarely like eating out, but this was a different story. Incredible food, amazingly-friendly and welcoming staff, and lovely setting. Cannot recommend enough and will return next time I'm in Glasgow

This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Glasgow, can't go wrong with anything on the menu, staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. It's amazing to have a fully vegan place with such flavoursome choices - have been with vegan and non-vegan friends and everyone's always thoroughly enjoyed. Can't wait for my next Suissi visit!

It was a great place, completely unassuming from the outside. Inside, it opens up to a large area. Friendly staff and a nice selection of items. Can recommend the starters/small dishes, gyozas were great. The Singapore noodles were also fantastic. Great atmosphere with great food with quick service.

Broths and flavours are so so good. Some of the best vegan food I've had. Really reasonably prices and friendly helpful staff.

One of the best Asian restaurants in Glasgow hands down! I have been here over 3 times and the food is always fresh, authentic and delicious. The service is so nice and they have such a wide variety of a menu. Recommended dishes: wontons, spring rolls, gyozas, chili chips, ren dang lion mane mushroom curry, Singapore noodles, cantonese crispy noodles, and pad Thai! Those are all dishes I've tried and would order again (and again). They also have a yum matcha martini. Check their IG for mouth watering visuals! HIGHLY recommend if you're ever in Glasgow.

Leave your vegan preconceptions at the door. I am not a vegan or vegetarian but I had only heard good things about this place and wanted to try it. Totally worth it. The service we received was excellent. I want to call out the staffer with the ADHD badge for their highly attentive service. The food was fresh and well made and I tried new foods and new meals that I thoroughly enjoyed. Open your mind and try something new. Dog friendly too in an unobtrusive way.

Food - 5/5 Drinks - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Atmosphere - 4/5 We visited here on a Friday evening for the first time and was very impressed. We were taken to our booked table straight away and the service was great. We had three different servers throughout the evening and all were attentive and lovely. We ordered the gyoza, rendang, katso curry and salt and chilli chips. Gyoza's were some of the best we've had and the mains were delicious. As someone who eats meat often, I didn't miss it at all. The lemongrass margareta was nothing special for the price but there was other cocktails that sounded tasty. There's a selection of wines and beers that are more affordable and potentially a better choice. Despite my great expectations this place did not disappoint - would definitely recommend.

I'm new to Glasgow and this restaurant was recommended as the best vegan option in the city. Gotta say, it's going to be hard to beat! Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.

Amazing vegan food, especially enjoyed the Rendang with Lions Mane mushrooms and the salt and chilli chips. The Tofu Satay starter was also delicious. Would highly recommend anyone to pay them a visit and you will not be disappointed.

Been going to Suisse for 4 years now, and the quality has never wavered. The staff are amazing and so sweet. The best vegan restaurant in the UK. They just need to open a branch in London.

My friend took me to Suisse last week, it was my 1st time & I wasn’t disappointed, we had 1 main meal each & 3 sides to share, my main meal was Trumpet mushroom katsu curry which was outstanding, we went all out on the salt ‘n’ chilli sides going for the tofu, chips & Brussels sprouts all salt & chilli style, everything tasted really good, the food was as warm as the staff & the service was quick & simple, would really recommend everyone who hasn’t been to get along & give this place a try, vegan or not, this is a gem of the west end.

Comfortable fully vegan restaurant. The food we ordered was okay (surprisingly bland for Malaysian food, must be the lack of MSG) and with smaller portions than expected. The cocktails were bad. The service was friendly but our group thought communication was very lacking. We arrived on time for our booking and after ordering waited nearly an hour for food to arrive. Would have appreciated being told that the kitchen is busy or perhaps understaffed on the day hence a very long wait. Flagging down waiters for a water refill was difficult too. Then once we finished the food and thought to order dessert we were told our 2 hr time slot was nearly up so wouldn't be able to get anything other than the ice cream... We were fine with that but again would have appreciated if perhaps 30 min before the end of our booking a waiter came by to ask us if we wanted dessert. It's the little things that make a restaurant experience worth it compared to just cooking at home... Might be willing to try other dishes if customer service improves.

Incredible food every time!L and worth every penny! We only visit for special occasions to keep the magic there but it's so delicious every time. The satay tofu is to die for and the satay ramen is so good.

El servicio fue genial y todo el personal tenía sonrisas en sus caras. Probamos algunos de los platos, sin embargo, todos tenían un fuerte sabor de aceite / grasa para ellos y terminaron teniendo un sabor bastante similar entre sí. El menú está bien etiquetado para los alérgenos, sin embargo, hay una nota que indica que la misma freidora se utiliza para el gluten y artículos que no son gluten. ¿Cuál es el punto? It's a vegan restaurant that suits Korean tastes well. If you're craving Korean food in Glasgow, it would be a good idea to go here. The food is very delicious, and the prices are reasonable and not expensive.

No es una gran experiencia. Anunciaba que estaba abierto todo el día, así que llegamos a las 3. 30 pm solo para que me dijeran que las cocinas estaban cerradas por una hora. Nos reservaron una mesa para 4. 30 pm y nos dijo que volviéramos. Estábamos de vuelta a las 4. 30 pm en el punto y se muestra a nuestra mesa. Todo parecía bien. Pedimos, la comida fue entregada, estábamos disfrutando de la comida y profundamente en la conversación. El personal interrumpió nuestra conversación unas media docena de veces para preguntar si todo estaba bien. Esto estaba bien para empezar, pero pronto se puso muy irritante. Claramente estábamos en medio de una conversación muy profunda. Terminamos nuestra comida y estábamos mirando el menú de postres, cuando nos dijeron que teníamos que irnos, que la próxima reserva para la mesa había llegado! Cuando lo consultamos, nos dijeron que todas las mesas solo estaban reservadas por un período de dos horas y si no nos lo habían explicado (no lo habíamos hecho), pero solo eran las 6 pm, y solo habíamos estado allí durante 1 . 5 horas. Explicamos esto, pero un miembro officioso del personal dijo que había habido un error, no debería habernos dado la mesa debido a la reserva de las 6 pm! Nos presentaron la factura, nos pagaron y nos dejaron disgustados. No vamos a volver.

Lovely place this, we missed an initial booking but were accommodated a little later which was nice. The staff were really nice and attentive and the food came very quickly. The menu was a really good size with lots of options if you can't decide. The food was really nice and fresh and the vibe of the place was really nice too. There is some street parking but we parked on the Sainsbury's around the corner. We will definitely come back to try other dishes.

I cannot stop raving about this place! The food is delicious, I have had both sit-in and takeaway and it is always incredible. What really sets this place apart is the service. The staff are friendly and have great menu knowledge. I have tried different recommended dishes every time and all have been 5 stars. The cocktails are also a must! Thank you Suissi team! 💕

Fuimos a comer después de un día en Glasgow, y fue fantástico. Los entrantes eran tan buenos. Teníamos tofu satay, maíz dulce y galletas tailandesas. Mi pareja y yo los compartimos y todos estaban deliciosos. Luego tuve un pad Thai y chips picantes que también fue increíble. Realmente me encantó nuestra comida aquí y desearía que viviéramos en la localidad como yo visitaría todo el tiempo. También estaba muy ocupado, así que reservar una mesa es una necesidad. También tuvimos muy buen servicio, todo el mundo era amable y servicial - esp alrededor de opciones sin gluten (que había un montón de) . Muy recomendable.

Nunca he probado un plato malo o incluso promedio en Suissi. Todo es realmente delicioso y mi carne - amigos que comen disfrutan de ella tanto como los veganos y vegetarianos. En nuestra lista de "imperdibles" están las papas fritas de loto, sal y chile, y el rendang. Los cócteles son inusuales pero brillantes y siempre hay cosas nuevas que probar en el tablero de ofertas. La familia Lim y otro personal es tan amable y nada es demasiado problema incluso cuando está muy ocupado, que es prácticamente todo el tiempo. Mi consejo es reservar con antelación!

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. Hands down my new favourite place to eat. Food was sensational and service so friendly and efficient. Can't wait to be back in Partick again so I can treat myself. Pad Thai quite possibly the best I've ever had. And my daughter who isn't vegan said her ramen was the best she'd had too!

This is just the best restaurant in Glasgow Everything about the place is just perfect - food, cocktails, atmosphere, family business, happy staff, nice cocktails. I can specifically recommend the Katsu curry and salt and chilli fries.

An amazing place to dine. We felt so welcome immediately (make sure you book!) and the waiter was beyond lovely and really knew the dishes inside and out which I never expect but was impressed by. The taste was out of this world. We are light eaters and shared two appetizers and a side dish while my partner and I each had our own mains and I had to get a box for my food. Update after another visit: still amazing. The in-laws couldn't stop complimenting our choice of restaurant.

Lovely restaurant and polite attentive staff. It was a great experience for my girlfriend as she often feels left out with poor vegetarian/vegan choice at many other eateries. She was almost overwhelmed as she could choose anything on the menu. Lovely fresh food thats literally bursting with flavour. I had the Pad Thai and it was perfect! Pricing is just about "fair" as its a fully vegan menu so a bit more of a speciality but I would say that the portions are just a tad small for the price. It was fully booked when we went and I think an extra staff member would have really made a difference, as despite the great efforts of the team trying to cope with how busy it was, I did feel like it took a while to get orders placed for each course. I'll eat anything and I'm not vegetarian/vegan but could easily become one with the amazing food being served here! We'll definitely return.

Food was absolutely amazing! We got the seaweed and edamame starter, tauchu tofu + green beans, ramen + soya miso and caramelised banana slices for pudding (all vegetarian and all delicious). The pandan old fashioned and lemongrass and ginger margarita (cocktails) were great (very strong). Service was wonderful - staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was brilliant as well, even on a Sunday night.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Suissi last night. The food is so flavoursome and filling. Despite being a keen meat eater I didn’t feel like anything was missing. So good and can’t wait to come back. For two mains, two rice dishes, two entrées, and water, we spent about £40, which we felt was very reasonable for the quality and variety of the meal. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking vibrant, high-quality vegan cuisine in Glasgow.

This restaurant is my favourite place that I've tried in Glasgow, with fresh flavours and lovely, efficient service as well. Totally vegan, which I appreciate. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. My only criticism is that when it is busy it can be quite noisy, which I personally found challenging being as I am autistic

Great Asian Vegan restaurant in Glasgow. I usually wouldn't eat Vegan food when eating out, but the restaurant knows how to bring out the flavours in the food to make it tasty. The menu was also reasonably priced and the service was good.

We were recommended this place as our family is vegetarian. Straight away the welcomw service from Mary Anne was delightful and our waiter Sebastian was also lovely, even going as far as arranging our plates as we were taking a picture which gave us a laugh. The food that came out was piping hot and absolutely delicious. We had a mix of starters and a sesame satay ramen. Best ramen I've ever had in my opinion. Good value for money. 100% will be back! Eaten here several times times in recent years and it’s always incredible. Definitely the best restaurant in west end of Glasgow. The menu has so many options!! The spring rolls, tofu parcels and curry laksa ramen are our favourites. The staff are always friendly. Would recommend booking as they get very busy!

Absolutely loved this place! I got the sesame peanut broth with udon and I can't stop thinking about it. My non-vegan partner got the green curry and was blown away by how the mushrooms were cooked (he's not even into mushrooms!). We loved it and the servers were lovely.

Maybe the best restaurant in glasgow?? Loveliest staff and the food was incredible as always. First time having a dessert there, Mama Lim's banana fritters have changed my life!! Thankyou suissi!

The food looked scrumptious and the starters (lotus root crisps and tofu parcels) were delicious. I couldn’t finish the crisps due to them being quite oily (deep fried). The kong po oyster mushrooms with rice were nice but too oily for my liking so couldn’t finish either. It was very unique to try the food and the creativity is 5/5.

Been vegetarian most of my life and this place has hands down the best food I've ever tasted in all that time. Booked to come back on our way out. Staff are lovely and friendly with good banter and the food is just out this world on quality and taste. I can't recommend the Tofu clay pot dish enough. That dish was practically licked clean. The seaweed and edamame beans are absolutely delicious and a nice little refresher taster between bites of the other dishes. Trumpet mushroom katsu curry is a lovely warm comfort dish and would definitely have that again. We both shared the coconut pancake for dessert and just..wow , imagine a cross over between a caramel log and a crepe - but make it more delicious and you're close
