This hotel ticked all our requirements. We were on a whistle stop tour of the East side of the island and wanted a place to have a quick stay overnight. We had a nice room and an incredibly comfortable bed. Lovely and clean as well. The breakfast was superb . We would highly recommend. The location was perfect for the town and the beach less than 5 minutes walk away ( via some steps or a lift)

My son and I stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of September. We were using public transport and it was only a few mins walk to from Shanklin station and bus station. It’s also only a few minutes walk to the cliff lift to get to the beach. Our family room was spacious and clean, with comfy beds and a good shower. Lots of places to put clothes etc away. It’s a little dated, but nice. There is a nice garden area which had scooters and children’s toys in, and a small wooden house for little ones. The bar is open from 6. I was totally blown away by how good the breakfast was compared to some other b&bs. Good quality hot buffet, plus fruit, cereal and filter coffee. My only (very minor) moan is that breakfast is served from 8.30-9.30, which is a little late if you want an early start to the day. Overall, a lovely place.

This was our first family trip to the Isle of Wight and we focus this property through an internet search. It was good value for money and offers good flexibility of location. We were close to the beach and town and could walk to most pasty’s of Shanklin from this location. The owners were very welcoming and the property was clean throughout. There breakfast was very good and plentiful whilst accommodating for all tastes. We enjoyed our time on the Island and Palmerston Grange assisted in that.

We had booked a long weekend at the nearby Holiday Park and needed a good quality B&B/Guest House for the first night. Palmerston, was by far - the best in terms of value for money and level of service and surroundings. It was very easy to find and just a short trip from the Ferry. We were warmly greeted by the owner and thought the public areas were so lovely, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Our bedroom, was very impressive. Spotlessly clean, so cared for, spacious and really amazing for myself, my Husband and two Sons. We had our room and an interconnecting bunk beds room with their very own en-suite! They have a beautiful bar area, they have games to use during your stay, they even have buggy hire!! The boys loved their outdoor playing area! We slept very well. We ate on the High Street nearby in a lovely Pub called The Crab. Highly recommended. The next Morning, we were greeted by both owners, welcomed to Breakfast and enjoyed every single part! a Buffet selection good enough for a Queen. We enjoyed it so much we just stayed and enjoyed our Coffee whilst our children played Dominos on the Carpet. I can not recommend this fabulous property enough, we can’t wait to come back in the Summer for a long break. Thank you.

We discovered this lovely cafe had moved into bigger premises across the road. The lattes are still good, but the cafe area feels cramped. Staff helpful and friendly, but feel it's lost its lovelines

As Aussies we are critical of coffee as our culture is addicted to it. Here we had a coffee we were amazingly thrilled with. It was a REAL COFFEE with flavour, depth, texture and truly made with love
