Today I have ordered the frutti de mare pizza, the carbonara, and the pollo crema. The vegetables for the pollo crema had been smoked a little and then added salt, which makes it crunchy. As well as that, the sauce was very creamy and rich, adding good flavour for the dish. The frutti de mare pizza had fresh seafood (such as: prawns, mussels, and squid) and the flavour was medium, which is very good. The crust was crunchy and it was made fresh, not from the stores. The spaghetti was very creamy and the staff offered extra Parmesan. The bacon in it was very delicious, because of the sauce that was added to the dish. To summarise, I would recommend this restaurant to you.

I ordered a bowl of carbonara and pizza Palermo , and it tasted nicely. The pizza’s crust was crunchy and the inside part of it was very delicious. The carbonara is very creamy. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful music was nice too. Staff were very welcoming and friendly too.

We ate here for my sons graduation. The food was amazing really tasty. Luke was really attentive will definitely come here again 10/10

I visited for lunch and it was quiet, so the service was really good. I had carbonara which was decent, not the best I’ve ever had but it was nice. Might visit again to try something else.

Visited Saturday 30th March. We’ve been here several times and it’s always good to excellent. Good selection of starters. Calamari a little smaller than expected. Chicken goujons much much larger than expected. Both mains were on the large side. Partner had tagliatelle filleto. I had pollo creme. All dishes were delicious. I would’ve had fish had a fillet version of sea bass been available. I would like to see a larger selection for fish. Halibut and monk fish for example. Service has always been polite, friendly and efficient. I look forward to our next visit.

Went for Mother's Day and I was pleasantly surprised on how nice and fresh the food tasted. The mussels (in the tomato sauce) were delicious and tasted super fresh. I had the steak salad and the beef was seasoned perfectly cooked exactly as requested and the fries were the perfect ratio of crisp to fluffy. Would definitely recommend going for good authentic Italian food. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly offering to hang up our coats when we entered the restaurant.

We went along for Mother’s Day as a group of 6. The meals were amazing & the service was first class. I don’t normally leave reviews but after yesterday I wanted to make the effort 100% coming back.

Very nice restaurant, the interior was very special, the waiter was a very nice and pleasant person, and the food was as if you were in Italy! If you want to eat Italian food in Birmingham, this is the place to be!!

We visited Palermo recently in Moseley and really enjoyed the food we had. Our son tried mussels for the first time and they were a hit 🎯.. chicken dish, pizza and prawns were also tasty. We were in a rush so didn't get time for dessert. But we look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Service was great.

Really delicious, freshly cooked food - across all courses (soup, pasta, salmon, bruschetta, tiramisu, caprese) - and very prompt, sincere and friendly service. Will definitely be back. So great to find a brilliant independent restaurant.

Gem of a restaurant in the heart of Moseley. This bijou eatery has beautiful decorations, friendly, professional service and delicious food. We recommend the set lunch menu (£11.99), especially the bruschetta and pizza.

One of the best Italian restaurants. Delicious pizza, carbonara and cheesecake made of fresh ingredients. The restaurant has a lot of decorations connected with Italy like toy cars made in Italy. You can also hear Italian music being played. Really nice staff and quick service.

Dined here while visiting Birmingham last weekend. Food, service, and quality were all outstanding.

I had high expectations of this place, but I was very disappointed. Once seated, we were given a plastic menu that felt cheap. The menu was too large and did not seem authentic. The pasta dishes came out suspiciously quick, less than 5 minutes after ordering. The table all agreed that the pasta dishes were watery at the bottom and tasted as though it was not freshly cooked. The pancetta was a poor quality cut of meat, and the carbonara sauce in my dish had no taste of cheese. The atmosphere was dull and flat. Even a bit of music would have helped. I'm not sure I would pay the come back here, unfortunately.

I popped in right before close (had called ahead to check how late they were serving) and placed a quick take-out order. I had a glass of wine while I waited, which gave me time to admire the restaurant set-up, cleanliness, and ambience. I'm sure there's a really lovely vibe once you have a number of customers in there. The food was lovely. I WILL be going back. But what I really wanted to rave about was the service. My day was awful, and they put SUCH a huge smile on my face. I have nothing but respect for the establishment and those running it. Thank you, Palermo!!!!

Visited here with my dad and sister after reading great reviews. From start to finish, the service we received was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! My sister is vegetarian and was very happy with the choices. Can’t wait to return again soon.

We went before cricket so it was early and we were the only people in. We chose off the set menu which was good but perhaps limited. The service was excellent.

Best calzone I've had in a long time.

Best steak I’ve had this year. Wife had best seafood pasta ever in a restaurant. Kids enjoyed their food. Menu is not overly complicated but everything we ate was competently presented, tasted great and served in a timely fashion Thanks guys - we’ll be back:-)

This is a mockery of an Italian restaurant and a cheap vapianos would top this 100%. Dishes aren’t as described on the menu at all. Even the starters were terrible!! (bruschetta was like eating lumpy margarine on soft bread) and the soft drink selection is poor. Not worth the price at all I would’ve been happier with a meal deal. Nb. To the response: the waiter was polite and it was extremely quiet, it would be awkward to complain in response to a “did you enjoy?”. And I took it home as I payed for it and only half was eaten. The price is not cheap but the quality is. Meat was poor too

Amazing experience! The food was delicious from starters to dessert. The atmosphere and decor was great and the manager was really friendly which made the difference to our dining experience. Very tasty food here, great that they are licensed unlike other places in the area. Has a feel to it like you're abroad when dining which is nice.

Went here with my family on Thursday night and it was that good my husband and I went back on the Friday The food was absolutely excellent the staff could not have been anymore helpful and the overall experience was fantastic. Will definitely be back

Italian , this aint. Don't expect fine Italian dining, prices would suggest it is . If you've eaten Italian , you'll know. But pleasant enough staff .

Treated my wife to a pre valentine surprise dinner at Palermo. So glad I found this place after a morning stroll in Moseley village. We thoroughly enjoyed our starters of mussels and calamari and chose veal and the special calzone for mains. Both were excellent and we shared as we often do to see the range of flavours and textures on the menu. My wife has a delicious tiramisu but after the calzone I settled for a superb espresso..Our host told us about the chef and opening less than six months ago and we wish them well and most surely will return.

Very nice restaurant, but unfortunately the Lasagna portions are very small in comparison to other Italian restaurants I have visited. The Calzone pizza was amazing, so give that a try if you have the appetite 👏.

We just arrived & got a table without booking on Thursday evening at 8 pm. Food was delicious. About £53 for 3 courses for two including large glasses of Merlot. Very friendly. Best wishes!

Food was nice, portion size for extra amount is a complete rip off I ordered spaghetti bolognaise adult and my daughter had the junior version. Size difference was about 20% yet £7 to £16.40… more than double. We have spoken to the restaurant and he just said he will let the chef know. We therefore abandoned deserts expecting a measley portion. Chance of a return visit? Highly unlikely Chance of me recommending Read the review!

I love their pizza it’s really tasty and fresh, worthy to try at least one time. Staffs are very polite and friendly.
