A works event didn't give us much time to grab a bite but a last minute request for 12 was arranged. The staff were great and the food was excellent, no issues, and all came out preaty much together which was good organisation as no one was sat waiting. Good value, reasonable selection and variety, in all a super end to a busy day.

We have just spent the weekend at Ingliston at caravan site. We visited on Friday and Saturday afternoon for drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive but really liked the relaxed atmosphere. We also ate in the restaurant on Saturday night and it did not disappoint. Food was very good - hubbie can definitely recommend the trio of burgers and my lasagne was great. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and could not fault the staff.

Spent lunch with friends we hadn’t seen for a while. A lovely experience enhanced by our waitress, lovely Emily who was friendly as well as courteous and efficient. The Katsu curry was sublime as was the spaghetti with garlic prawns and the penne ariabata. Delighted. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Second visit here. Food is good but is a bit pricey. Had lunch it was ok but bread was a bit stale around edges. Dinner was good although £4.95 for one piece of garlic bread WOW. Last time the staff were lovely, very welcoming this time however not so much. We ate here twice during our stay, second time hubby went in at breakfast to book our evening table, served by Mhari, but once we arrived no table had been booked, after a few questions and then staff member going to talk to another staff member we eventually got a table. Another noticeable thing was no coasters were on tables and when you lifted your drink with glasses being wet he drink dripped over your clothes. We did however notice two gentlemen sitting at next table and they got coasters brought with their drinks and treated like they were well known. Hubby did ask why they got coasters and other customers don't, to be told they are the owners. This begs to differ why customers get treated differently. Hubby however bumped into the men later on and did mention about the coasters, the man was lovely and asked bar staff why they do not issue the coasters and told to make sure this was done but however once they left the premises it was in one ear out the other. Staff did not care to treat customers as expected.

We dined as a family for a birthday celebration and therefore booked in advance. The staff were polite but lacked experience. One of our starters wasn't put through correctly and whilst they apologised by the time it came the rest of us had finished our starters. Sauce from my main course was dropped on the way to the table and I was almost finished the meal by the time a replacement came, drinks orders were slow and wrong. Overall disappointing service for what should have been a lovely celebration. We won't be rushing back sadly.

We have been in here for many meals in the past few years and it's always enjoyable. They have since changed the menu and turned it into an upmarket witherspoon. The menu had absolutely no thought put into it and is not as you would expect from such a classy restaurant. It's going downhill rapidly.

Really disappointing experience. Very limited menu which is a little on the over priced side. £16.95 for a tuna nicoise - tinned tuna at that. Service was just ok, almost like the servers really didn’t want to be there apart from one really nice Moroccan chap. Don’t think I will be rushing back.

We went for dinner and from our arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to our table. After looking at the menu a member staff asked if we were ready to order which we did as well as ordering drinks. The drinks came first followed by our starters which was very good as was our main course. It was a really good evening. I am sure next time we are in Greenock we will definitely call here again.

Spectacular setting with full view of the equestrian arena in full swing from the dining area. Granddaughter loves horse riding.

Sadly....the new Gluten Free options have now excluded Gluten Free bread! The choices were not plentiful before but now its worse and compared to many other places these days, the options are just not up to standard anymore.😪 A restaurant in nearby Bridge Of Weir has a very wide and varied choice of GF options (Pasta, flatbreads, pizza etc) and all are very tasty. I am surprised that you do not offer these types of foods on a GF basis. These days, even for smaller cafes etc, there are so many tasty GF breads being used, some artisanal and made onsite. I would have expected this at Ingliston/Palominos as the food really has been very delicious in the past (before we required GF options) so Im unsure why the offerings are so poor. Also...many places offer rice flour as standard in their sauces and batters etc allowing even more choice and its a shame that this is not being offered in what is such a lovely setting. Sorry, but we just cant return for the little choice on the menu. Hope it improves in the future and we can support local again.

Received a voucher from my brother for my birthday so decided to pop in for lunch today. What a wonderful experience! Grounds beautiful, fresh flowers being planted for spring by the busy workmen. Polite and friendly staff nothing a bother thanks to Ross what a lovely gentleman. Food catered perfectly. I have poorly kidneys so not allowed certain things and chef catered no problem. Half pizza pasta was delicious. I had arribaitta and cajin chicken pizza husband had carbonara. This place never disappoints always love seeing the horses too. Thank you.

Ingliston Country Club is a place very close to our hearts as we got married here in 2018. Everything was perfect and we went back time and time again because it was our happy place until Covid hit and all staff were let go, no furloughs here. After Covid we went back and what a difference, service in Palominos was poor and Chaotic. We went to the restaurant with friends last night and hoped things had improved but sadly we were very disappointed and now don’t think we will ever go back. We arrived in the restaurant slightly early, waited at the door to be seated by what we assumed to be the restaurant manager who was standing at a computer where we were. He did not even acknowledge our arrival and continued to tap away at his computer for about 5 minutes until my husband spoke to him. We told him we were a bit early and he responded to say our table wasn’t free (even though there were several tables empty). We sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited on our table and again were completely ignored for about 10 minutes until we asked to be served. We then asked the restaurant manager if our table was ready and we were told no (even though the tables were all still free). We were seated shortly afterwards (at one of the free tables since we arrived) and the food was nice although expensive, the 2 stars awarded for this review was due to the food being tasty. We paid for dinner and phoned a taxi, our friends decided to get another drink whilst we waited on the taxi. They went to the bar (since our bill for dinner had been paid) ordered 2 drinks, paid for them and was offered a receipt which was declined as they didn’t feel they needed a receipt. We were all sitting at our dinner table enjoying a conversation when the barman came over and abruptly asked for the 2 drinks to be paid. We advised that the drinks had been paid at the bar and he suggested that they hadn’t as there was no paid slip for the table. Again we told him that the drinks had been paid for at the bar when they were ordered and he said they hadn’t. This went on for some time until he decided to quite loudly say that because we we’re refusing to pay he would give the drinks on the house - eh! This was infuriating, we had spent near on £300 for dinner and had paid all drinks. He was rude and quite aggressive in his manner. We will certainly not be back again and would certainly not recommend. The food is okay, overpriced but nice. The service by the Restaurant manager and some of the staff was extremely poor, they need to get some customer service training. What a disappointment!

Booked two night break through hotel break very disappointed, accessible room was very basic, the bed was comfortable wet room was very basic no where to put toiletries. Breakfast was good choices but cooked food was cold each morning, some staff. I.e, house keeper was very friendly, Receptionist, staff at Breakfast was nice but not very friendly. Spa wasn't available as it had closed up. It was still on the Web page when we booked it, Very disappointed wouldn't rush back.

Booked for a family lunch and was not disappointed! The restaurant is cosy and inviting and we had no wait to be seated. Drinks order taken inmediately and the food menu was great, with an array of choice. Four different meals were ordered and each one was a hearty portion and all very enjoyable! The staff members are attentive and friendly, making sure you are have everything you need. Added bonus to be seated where we could watch the horses training and the chefs cooking on the big screen! Will definitely be returning :)

Arrived here for our wedding anniversary at 19:05. Entrance to restaurant was elegant and had a nice Chritmas look about it. After that the positives stopped. No staff came to our table to take a food and drink order until 19:30. Then waited until 19:50 for the starters to arrive and the soup was tepid. Had to send it back. Service improved a little after that but it was still a bit slow. In recognition of the poor service a staff member said that the bill had been reduced. They took the soup off. The whole experience took the shine off the occasion. This restaurant is local to me but I will not be back.

The restaurant is very well laid out with a great atmosphere. The service was very good and quick. We ate here as part of our Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package. The set menu is very poor but you can order off the regular menu as they give you £21.95 each to go towards food which was ideal for us. The bruschetta was lovely but the haggis Bon Bon’s were overpriced for the small portion. My pizza was very tasty. The steak pie was too but the side very was boring and bland. The crushed garlic potatoes were tasty but tepid. The cheesecake was lovely, the lemon meringue pie was nice but lacked lemon. The drinks menu is very extensive but pricey. The cocktail my husband got was way too sweet (none of the ingredients were sweet….). Enjoyed our night but it was expensive!

Was gifted a DBB deal from a friend for this place. When we arrived, they had booked our table for the wrong time and so we had to stand about waiting until they cleared a table for us. Once seated, we ordered two cokes which took about 30 mins to come. We eventually got them and ordered some sourdough bread with balsamic and olive oil. Instead they brought out focaccia bread with butter because “they didn’t have any sourdough left”. I ordered a roast dinner for main - as I have an egg allergy I was expecting no Yorkshire pudding but of course it came with one 🙃 when I asked about it the server said the chef simply “forgot” I had an egg allergy. My partner ordered lamb which was covered in fat and had a very water red wine jus. We ordered sorbet for dessert as all of the desserts say they contain nuts even if they don’t “just to cover their backs”. Sorbet tasted like perfumed ice and was inedible. To try and end on a high note we ordered two mojitos as it was a cocktail bar. It was the worst I’ve ever had. Extremely bitter and was basically just limes in soda water and was so was undrinkable. Whole thing was disgusting and service was shocking. Won’t be back.

This is a truly stunning restaurant in a beautiful location which was let down by the service provided. The food was ample portions and nice. Service diabolical!No spoon with soup to which we had to go find a waitress ourselves. Which took ages. Starters never arrived until main course. Even though we had asked for them. No waitress for drinks. Had to find ourselves. Main course when finished was not removed from our tables for at least half hour once we had pointed this out to staff. ….. it’s not nice to have to go find staff at every turn. Very disappointing.

It was good to be offered a jug of iced tap water as soon as we had sat down.Our main courses were good, notably a rare steak that was (but was peppered by chef. I like pepper but I like to add it at table), and a butterfly chicken breast that was not overdone. My mother's steak pie had beautifully cooked pastry, but I suspect it was cooked separately since the pastry wasn't sealed to the ashet. She was explicitly offered a choice of "boiled, saute or garlic potatoes", but these were charged as an extra and crowded onto her dinner plate.Then the wheels came off big time. We all ordered dessert, and enquired about where our order was some 30 minutes later. Shortly after this one waitress appeared carrying a sundae glass in one hand, a dessert plate in the other, and hugging a second sundae glass. The restaurant does have trays! On starting to eat, it became obvious from the part melted ice creams that the desserts had been sitting on the pass for most of the half hour. On complaining about this, we were told that they had "had difficulty forming the chocolate dome", and charged full price.Then there's the space; it's a modern room with hard surfaces, to the extent that I could follow the conversations at 2 tables behind me. We'ii not be back.

Staff were pleasant but not very attentive. Service very poor. Waited for an hour for mains to arrive. Requested water and it arrived after two reminders. Meals were nice. My wife got her dessert but no cutlery, ten minutes later came with second dessert and cutlery.We were never asked during dinner if everything was ok.My wife passed comment at bar when paying bill and barman was polite and apologetic.Overall a disappointing evening to end a special day

My friend took me there today and the food was lovely. Unfortunately I found the staff to be a bit pushy as if trying to hurry us up. Twice they came over whilst we were still eating as if going to clear our food, which I just thought oh we must be talking and they're not sure, fair enough.We ordered dessert and it came and literally 1 minute later they walked over and put the bill on our table?! My friend politely questioned if there was a time limit and the girl explained yes 2 hours... Which is completely reasonable and normal even before covid, but our booking was 12.30 and they put the bill on our table at 2pm, we were well within the limit so there really was no need to make us feel so uncomfortable and rushed? I live round the corner and was excited to try this place, but not sure I'd go back... Was just bizarre and rude...they were over with the card machine whilst we still hadn't started our dessert. Disappointed.

I don't normally take to TripAdvisor to leave a negative review but we tried to resolve this at the time and it was handled so badly that no other option. Consistently average to poor service throughout dining. When a request about an after dinner drink was wrong we complained to someone. It was a challenging complaint because we were frustrated but no raised voices and no bad language. The waiter refused to engage and 'would not be spoken to like that' (???). This was a waiter we'd seen turn away from another table and roll his eyes at being asked to bring parmesan. We then got the 'restaurant manager' who also ineffectively dealt with the complaint and when was challenged similarly trotted out the 'will not be spoken to that line again'. Seems like this is the complaints handling technique. We asked to speak to the venue manager and were refused. We were given our bill and asked to leave. To add insult to injury it then took them 15 minutes to bring a card machine (story of the service the whole meal which we attempted to complain about)Issues about service/meal that we didn't get a chance to raise:- Left standing at the entrance with several members of staff ignoring us before seated- One menu between two and then arrived to take order before one person could even have looked at menu- Had to catch our first tray of drinks before the glasses were smashed all over the table- White wine was warm- Glasses handled unhygienically even for non-Covid times- Garlic bread was overcooked and dry- Steak served on top of sides so impossible to cut- Carbonara was stodgy- Asked for a wine list, only for 2 minutes later for somone to slam a wine glass down on the side of the table without even looking at us. Then had to find someone else to actually bring us a list- Ordered cointreau and was given Triple Sec (quickly replaced to give credit)Paid £70 a head for the privilege of the above and the very unpleasant complaints handling. The prices are expensive for the area and the quality of the food doesn't match. To be honest the service is the worst I've experienced in at least 15 years. So many staff running around with not a clue what they're doing and they don't seem to care either.This is the third time i've been in the last 3 months and it's getting steadily worse. Good captive market in and around Bishopton/Dargavel that's going to be lost as everyone I talk to says the same about the place.

Really enjoyed our lunch in Palomino's yesterday. We were promptly seated at a table with a nice view of the activities in the arena with menus by a helpful member of staff who had just come on shift and, unprompted, went to check the soup of the day for us. Similarly our food order was taken by another friendly member of the waiting staff and it wasn't long before our delicious food was served. On finishing our meal, our plates were cleared quickly and we were asked if we wanted anything else, again coffee was served promptly. We had no space left for the yummy looking cakes in the chiller cabinet by the door, will need to remember that for next time. The food being served to other diners near us looked equally tasty and plentiful and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Top marks guys for friendly, efficient, prompt service and delicious, fresh, nicely presented food!

Booked for my daughters birthday(8 adults, 2 children). We arrived and were seated quickly and only given two menus for our entire table, ordered drinks which took 20 minutes to arrive. After placing orders we were advised that three of the four specials on the menu that we had ordered were no longer available and had to make other selections, what is the point in s specials menu if you don't actually have them?When the food finally arrived it was good and enjoyed by all, not surprised given it had taken nearly two hours to come out. the time taken between placing orders and actually getting it is ridiculous, took 30-40 minutes for two desserts and 2 drinks.Overall, very expensive and disappointing service, seems they have a lot of very young inexperienced staff who don't really know what they are doing, even got given the wrong bill at the end.Used to come here regularly as my daughter loves watching the horses etc, however, after this fiasco I will not be back!

Sat outdoors on the terrace which was beautiful. We’d have really benefited from some shade as it was very hot but only 3 or 4 tables has parasols but otherwise it was really lovely. We waited over 20 mins for our first round of drinks and had to ask for them several times. Our son’s starter was missing, we informed a waitress, she returned to say it was on its way, it never arrived and it transpired it was given to another table. More drinks were ordered and each round had to be chased several times. The main meals arrived and were fantastic, no complaints at all. The food was delicious and the portions were great. We ordered desserts, by this point we’d been there for almost 2.5hrs. My son’s sundae arrived after about 10 minutes but after 30 minutes of chasing and waiting we had to cancel the other desserts as we needed to leave as one of our party had to get to work. Our bill came to £222 before we cancelled the desserts and had the service been up to scratch it would have been worth every penny. The ladies bathroom was also pretty grim, the floor was soaking wet and slippery, only one of the two hand driers was working and a fair few of the stalls had no loo roll and/or evidence of the previous customer’s visit. The waitresses can only go as fast as the bar/kitchen so it’d be unfair to place the blame on them but it was really disappointing and tainted what could’ve been a fantastic dining experience that we travelled all the way from Edinburgh for to meet with family we’d not seen in 18 months. We’d maybe go again in the hopes this was just a bad day as the food and setting (with the exception of the gritty ladies bathroom) are great.

The location and facilities at the restaurant are lovely. Staff were friendly. However we had a poor overall experience here.We were firstly really disappointed the full cocktail menu was not being served as this was part of the reason we came. We had looked this up on the website before booking and didn't see anything about this not being served.Ordered a glass of red wine which didn't come until right at the end of eating the main course (we didn't have starters). We were waiting approx 1 hour for this and we did ask someone to chase it up about half way through that.We were seated outside due to inside being full which was fine, however two different occasions people from inside came and stood directly next to our table to smoke rather than go to the outside of the eating area which made it unpleasant.We planned to make a night of it with desserts and cocktails but the above meant we didn't want to stay any longer so we left.

First class service and food. Made an account just to review, it was our first time visiting and one to remember. The oysters were the best we’ve ever had with a perfect garnish. Was given a £50 voucher for this restaurant by a friend. Came with my family and had a nice meal. Asked for the bill and gave the waiter the voucher, £38 bill and told that I wouldnt get a further voucher in return, in essence paid £50 for a £38 meal, told that this is their company policy. Visited Palominos and things did not get off to a good start. Asked for water which came about 20 mins later, had to wait a further 25 mins for a drink. When order taken fir food this time enquired if Mac n Cheese came with garlic bread and advised no so ordered a side of garlic bread and hey ho when meal came ……. eventually ……. garlic bread was on the side! Meal was lovely. Sat outside and waited for order to be taken, and waited and waited meanwhile 5 staff members stood chatting n laughing over at till whilst customers waited to be served, tables needing cleared and empty fruit shoot bottles etc lying about under tables etc Manager ? Came and spoke to us apologetic even although the issues remain as did last year etc if you look at the reviews posted. Disappointed I must say and very much doubt any of my members will be back. Exceptionally slow services throughout and very little attention to customers.

Our food and drinks were outstanding as usual at Palominos, this is one of our regular choices for somewhere nice to eat, we’ve both had our Birthday meal’s here two within 3 weeks and I really can’t understand the bad reviews referring to staff, I find the staff attentive and well deserving of a tip! Please give businesses a break they are all working hard during Covid restrictions and Ingliston is prepared for this, a temperature reader as soon as you go in, and btw they have had this installed since last July, as I noticed one of the first places I’ve visited that provided this before any others, spotless toilets and everything else. Now the food!…is absolutely amazing, can’t beat palominos for taste, presentation and countryside setting, the Stornoway black pudding macaroni is a favourite of mine! Pizzas are fresh and delicious, the spaghetti carbonara and also the penne carbonara were delicious, we also had the Cajun chips, big chunks of potato cooked perfectly, we were lucky it was a sunny day and felt like we were outside abroad the atmosphere is lovely with low music playing in the background outside, we sampled the strawberry daiquiri, delicious! My Hubby always says it’s one of the best places for a pint! Thanks Palominos for making my Birthday one to remember.

Having visited Palominos frequently we have come to expect slightly slow service, which the quality of food normally makes up for. On this occasion however the service was the worst I have experienced anywhere for a long while. We were sat at the table for half an hour before an order was taken from us for food and drinks. After ordering it was then almost an hour from arrival before our food arrived...we had asked for the kids meal to arrive with our starter but it failed to do so. After asking for water for the table we had to chase this up after half an hour. We were given dessert menus and then had to hunt down a member of staff to give our order as no-one approached our table again, again after almost half hour wait. It was apparent that other tables close by were experiencing long delays too. When we did eventually get our bill we had to send this back to be corrected as we had been overcharged for our drinks...credit where it is due this was rectified quickly, but was the only thing that was done quickly. I have read other responses to reviews and covid restrictions appear to be getting blamed for poor service standards....however I can't quite see how covid affects a bar's ability to serve tap water in a timely fashion! I think management would be better served putting their hands up and admitting there are serious improvements required in the service offered rather than taking the easy option and hiding behind covid as an excuse. I fully appreciate it has not been easy for hospitality in recent times but other venues are still capable of providing satisfactory service. As mentioned previously, the food is always top notch but unfortunately I fear the restaurant will end up losing customers if they continue to fail to match the standards of service with the standard of food.

Went yesterday for the first time with my family. Such a lovely looking place. We ate indoors and felt it was unnecessarily dark for some reason. The service was absolutely awful. Staff standing and blethering to each other and ignoring customers is nothing to do with government guidelines. Please don’t use Covid as an excuse for a poorly run team of staff. I’ve never been to a restaurant before that the staff don’t do a regular 5-10 min walk round to check if anyone needed anything. The food when we did get it was nice enough. Not the best we have had but certainly not the worst. My husband had the fillet steak surf and turf. He could have used the prawns as a rubber they were so overcooked. His steak was nice. The place has such potential but is let down with poor staff which is such a simple fix. We have in the last few weeks been to The River Inn, Carriages and The Coach House and all 3 are running like a well oiled machine. So the common denominator is not Covid restrictions but poor quality of staff, and poor management of said staff.

It’s incredibly frustrating how slow the service is at Palominos. We have been a few times now and the food is always great but the time for simple things like drinks is ridiculous, ruined further by the failure to bring out all meals at once. I attended yesterday for my birthday and the rest of the table had finished their meals before mine arrived. The first round of drinks took 50 minutes to arrive, yes fifty. Which was after the food had arrived and after three times of asking.Staff continually say that they are busy, lots of restaurants are busy - maybe the management team need to consider their ability to support the team. Really disappointed - however, credit to the chef.

The food was good when it came, about an hour after ordering. We asked for water for the table and waited around 30 minutes for it to arrive. It appeared that only one person must have been at the bar for the drinks, which wasn’t the case as there appeared to be quite a lot of staff on. The three tables near to us had the same issues. I had to continually ask staff to chase it up (drinks, water, dessert).We asked for the dessert menu after our mains, waited 30 mins but no one came back, so I had to go and order it at the bar myself.Notoriously, this place is really bad for service. Which is a shame as the venue is nice and the food is generally good. The price you pay for the meal is on the expensive side, and the service badly lets the place down.

Not the fault of the staff who are all very young and nice, there simply just isn't enough of them to cope with the amount of customers. They all looked overworked and struggling to seat people and get food and drinks to people. Manager really needs to get more staff in or stop taking so many bookings. If the review was based solely on the food it would have been 4 or 5. No grumbles there. My husband and I had been looking forward to our Anniversary dinner and had arrived around 20 mins early to enjoy a drink outside. Was told there was a 20 min wait and so wouldn't get one before our reservation! Was waiting on her asking us to take a seat ( there were penty of spare seats) and we could take our drink inside but just blank looks. I said we will just go for a wander then which was followed with an apology. We arrived for our reservation and when seated we were told that there was a 30 min wait for drinks! I thought, ok so we will be waiting a while for our starter, no problem. I was wrong, the starter arrived and was eaten before our drink arrived. A table nearby refused to take their starter without their drink. When we got that drink we ordered a bottle of wine for our dinner. Again, naively thinking that they would push through a bottle of wine for the restaurant a little quicker as usually wine is taken with the meal. Again I was at least half way through the main course when the wine arrived ( had to be returned, was wrong type, quickly replaced). As I have said, no problem with the food, it was very good. However, we went for 3 courses each as it was a celebration and the bill was over £100 as expected. This was not matched with the service or experience that I expected when spending that amount of money and in the restaurant of a 4 star venue. If I had enviasaged that this was going to be the outcome I would have stuck to a one course, pizza or pasta. I orignally was going to give a score of 2 but the young woman who gave our bill at the end, more than once apologised for the wait and was very thankful for the kind 10% tip. This was very kind considering our experience but didnt think that was down to the staff. I think that more staff is required as it seems that they cannot cope with the restaurant and the outdoor seating area for drinks. I had been a few weeks ago for a drink outside and there was a wait. I put it down to teething problems after lockdown, didnt expect it to be still the same!

The food was beautiful as always and the staff so very well organised and attentive... they are extremely busy with some irate customers who think they should be served the minute they walk in, that’s not how it works, this is an industry that has been hot terrible during this pandemic, the young staff members are a target for the mouthy customers and they do not deserve that, I have always loved the food here and the staff are always welcoming, professional and helpful! I do believe staffing levels are below the norm due to Covid guidelines and some customers don’t understand that!! Some of the reviews I’ve read on here about service etc is not a true reflection on this restaurant!! I witnessed a grown 50+ man stand up and use foul language to a young waitress due to a lengthy wait for food... the young female was apologetic and professional which I certainly wasn’t as soon as the young girl left to check on his tables order!! If your not prepared to wait a bit longer than normal eat at home these girls and boys are doing the best they possibly can in the current situation!!! Well done team ingliston

A few of us arrived and asked if we could have a coffee and cake and scone to go with it. We decided to sit outside but had to go inside to see the cakes. We sat under an umbrella on the only table with an umbrella as the only other one had a sign on it which said it was reserved. There were four cups and saucers on our table which we had to ask to be removed. No-one cleaned the tables. My coffee was spilled and I bumped it and spilled the coffee over the table. Again, I had to ask for it to be cleaned which was done with a paper towel. One of my friends had a scone which obviously wasn't fresh. It was hard and dry. Also, for a couple of coffees, teas a couple of cakes and one scone it was very expensive. I used to go to the restaurant and had lovely meals.I think the staff need a bit more training.We won't be back for coffee and tea.

The staff where phenomenal. Always checking on us, making sure we were okay. We had waited a bit for the food but under current circumstances we were fine with it. The staff had to unfortunately deal with a few folk who had no patience and kept complaining to them about waiting. Booked a table for 6 to be seated at 5.30pm. Ordered drinks then meals and asked for 2 kids meals to come with the starters. Kids waited 1 hour 55 mins for their meal. We asked 3 times from different servers but nothing happened. The couple at the next table waited so long for their meal that when it arrived they told them to take it back and get them their bill. We waited 45 mins for someone to even pass our table so that we could get a bill. At 8.10pm our table had not been cleared nor had we been asked if we would like a sweet or tea or coffee. 2 and a half hours for a 2 course meal is unacceptable as it was mostly pasta. Staff blamed it on a new system but come on they have had 4 months to try it out. The food was lovely when it did arrive but unfortunately my family will never be back.

Waiting time between courses is upwards of 45 minutes. Expensive for the type of menu they have, very similar to a Wetherspoons menu. They have also shut off viewing access to the riding school, which was the main attraction to go years ago. Staff always look overworked regardless on how busy it is.

Our first post lockdown restaurant trip so we were a little apprehensive but we needn’t have worried. The restaurant was clean and well laid out so diners were spaced out and the waiting staff were very organised and there was hand sanitiser available on each table. Our server was Amy and she clearly explained the one way system to us and advised where the toilets were (it was our first visit). Six of us visited Palomiono's for a post-lockdown reunion meal on Sunday 2nd August. Three couples, one of us just out of shielding and a little nervous about how strictly the ongoing Covid regulations would be observed. We needn't have worried. Physical distancing of tables and staff hygiene protocols were impeccable, even although the restaurant was extremely busy. Clearly a popular place, and the quality of our food made clear why. Two of us had lobster ravioli which (almost) made the lock-down wait to eat out again worthwhile. Two vegetarians and one gluten-free customer catered for with no fuss. Great food and friendly service means we'll be back soon.

Very slow service, seems to be because meeting rooms had been opened for extra table space, but no additional staff. We arrived at 7.00pm and had only finished the main course at 9.00pm. Other adjacent tables were also complaining. Management did not advise us of any problems when we arrived and others that had not booked were turned away. The phone was ringing constantly and was not answered by the staff and this noise was a constant disturbance. Customers were not asked to wear masks when they entered the building and when moving about and so customers are at risk from other customers. Protection of this sort is mandatory and if you want to break the rules and get away with it you should come here!

Went for some food today after not being to the lynnhust in quite sometime. Checked out the menu online seemed good. When we arrived the menu had changed and was very disappointing as I didn't really like much on the menu and had I of known I would have went somewhere with better options. On a possitve not the waiter today Cameron was amazing and is a credit to the company.

Give afternoon tea a miss. For the price and the Marr Hall status it was extremely disappointing. It was a gift...had I paid for it I would have complained. Eating area quite uncomfortable. Low sagging chairs ...meant I had to jump up and down to reach the tray. Afternoon tea was nothing impressive...had better for less than half the price elsewhere....
