Paddy and Chrystal are so lovely and it shows that everything in this fantastic little bakery is made by them with love, care and beautiful precision. A hidden gem and definitely worth a visit for a coffee and a world class cheesecake

If you love food, and baked goods in particular then you really need to pay this place a visit. Quite possibly one of London's hidden gems tucked away quite unassumingly. Patrick really knows his way around a kitchen and you can tell by the magic he creates. If you really want a treat for your taste buds then try the baked cheesecake. I've tried the world renowned San Sebastian's cheesecake and it wasn't a patch on this.

THE BESTTTT. I go to Paddy multiple times through the year for all my special occasions. The taste, presentation, vibe, everything about this shop is beyond any other cake/ coffee shop I’ve experienced in the world. Unbelievably delicious. The cookies are out of this world - try the batman, and the chocolate chip, if you’re lucky enough to get a chance. Wow, just wow. The mini pizzas - I mean, obviously pizza is always going to be delicious but these are heavenly... more than you’d imagine was possible. And, oh my the cinnamon rolls are the best you will EVER have (I’m drooling just remembering them). Everything looks great, but the taste is just sublime. I’m quite fussy, and I have bought from bakeries all over London / U.K., and I admit, I tend to let my expectations run away with me and I nearly always get a little disappointed but not at Paddy Cakes. Without fail every item here will supersede your expectations. The ingredients are really high quality, and the bakers are top tier. Definitely a hidden spot to know about but be warned: you’ll be ruined afterwards as your experiences elsewhere will pale in comparison. If you can handle that, then bring your stretchy trousers and get ready. Paddy is also a complete joy!! Really lovely, and clearly has immense passion and dedication to his craft, the way he talks about each product is with such care and knowledge. I kind of don’t want to post this and for it to turn into somewhere you have to queue for hours at 8am and it runs out at 8.15, but I’d feel too selfish not to share the love.

Paddy Cakes is the place to go for a very welcoming atmosphere! We had seen the good reviews on Google, and thought we would have a quick look, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The owners were so friendly and easy-going, and their cake was divine! We tried the strawberry cheesecake and a chocolate cupcake - they were both pure delight, can only recommend. We will be back!

I popped in on the off chance. Not only did Paddy say yes to my custom order. What he provided exceed my expectations. This is in addition to the best cheesecake i've had in my life. All served with a smile.

Did a very small boy/girl reveal for our new baby and this bakery was amazing, and so lovely to deal with! We just wanted something simple so we could involve our toddler and they delivered that but so much more. These cupcakes were gorgeous cupcake and so incredibly tasty. Also shoutout for the owners not giving it away at all and thank you so much for your kindness and these beautiful cupcakes!

Best scone and clotted cream ever !

Surreptitiously smooth, slinky, fashionable and digestively attractive. Unlike many cake recipes; these are not too sweet. BUTTERCREAM is the secret. Light and fluffy almost like whipped cream...(but not the 50 shades style of whipping) this is more like caressing by an artisan. Gentle, creative flavours tempt the taste buds and cajole another forkful to be slurped and washed down with delicious coffee. Ahhh to be sure, your man Paddy can help you with suggestions. And if you want something for a special event - like bath night - he can bake it for you.

Unexpected treat. Went in for a quick cuppa ended up eating brilliant flaky cheese scone like creations, sn improved deconstructed cinnamon bun, and the best cheese cake to be had in England. Not too sweet, delicately spiced, flavourful and perfect texture. Good coffee to boot and the lovely eponymous Paddy to chat to.

Came to pick up a too good to go bag. Was initially disappointed as I didn't get their famous cheesecake to try but had a mini pizza, 2 cupcakes and 1 cookie. My god that pizza was sooo good. Also the red velvet cupcake was amazing. I will definitely come back again to try the cheesecake and more of your delicious goods!!!

There is only one way to explain how Paddy’s cake make you feel (ok maybe more): INCREDIBLE!! OUT OF THIS WORLD! Being Italian I’m very picky on my desserts and all the cupcakes, the cheesecakes and the cookies are insanely good. Shall we talk about the Cappucino? THE BEST IVE EVERE TASTED! Definitely worth the trip! Oh and also both him and Kris are incredibly inspiring individuals, they make you want to be better just by having a small talk with them ❤️ love you guys so much!!

Always get the girlfriend's birthday cake from here and they always get it right. Went out of their way for me this year as well. I live too far away to use the cafe side of it but all the treats behind the counter I can highly recommend. Don't have photos because it was gone before we remembered to take a photo. So please eat here, order here just use this place, it's that good.

Incredible cakes. I aspesily liked the cheese cake. It has the perfect mix of cremmy but not to creemy and the best flavor on a cheese cake I have ever had. It's a Wonderful shop and i recomend you to go and I mean it!

Had the apple fritter and tried partner's rumchatta cheesecake. Both were out of this world. We were also treated to a free truffle each. The owner has a very obvious talent for baking; the best cheesecake I've ever tasted and truffles to die for . Amazingly friendly service too. Give the people your support, you'll be glad you did.

This place is just AMAZING, you’ll find the BEST DESSERTS AND CAKES IN LONDON here. Paddy and Chris have created a small corner of paradise: you get inside, seat comfortable, enjoy the family and friendly vibes, and definitely have your taste buds turned upside down for the amazing cakes, cupcakes and treats this lovely couple creates. This is the place where my wife and I go when we want to feel at home. You guys are rocking it

Just had a slice of the Halloween themed Red velvet and cheesecake cake. Can honestly say it may well be the best piece of cake I have ever had....

Travelled all the way from South London and the trip was worth the journey! We ordered the Oreo brownies, pandan cheesecake and the red velvet cheesecake it's hard to say which one was our favourite, each and every one was delicious! I have also developed a new obsession for pandan. The store has a warm and welcoming ambience. I highly recommend visiting, you will be far from disappointed.

Paddy Cakes was a fantastic find! Their banana bread and banana blueberry muffin were so flavorful and fresh. Visiting from the States they gave us a warm and joyful welcome to their shop, a place to truly feel comfortable to be yourself. We loved them so much we ordered a cake for a family member’s birthday. That was phenomenal too!! A red velvet cake with cheesecake in the layers.

I can confidently say paddy cakes has some of the best iced coffee in london. Not some watery, luke-warm americano with two ice cubes. A proper ice cold coffee where you can suck on the ice cubes once your drink is empty. Love it

Chilled vibe, lovely owners- and delicious gourmet cheesecake- red velvet or tropical etc. He’s won prizes for his baking. Great for a relaxing Sunday moment. Family friendly too. Easy walk to Kentish Town or further on to Camden.

Absolutely the best cafe on Fortess Road. Only opened in recently but already became hot spot every one talking about. The cakes are all made in store and taste so nice. Not too much sugar as other franchise brands offer. Also very nice owners couple. Would love to have a chat with them every day.

Absolutely lovely! The cupcakes, cheesecakes, brownies and cookies are fantastic. They taste homemade (that's a massive compliment) as many pastry shop places look beautiful but taste sterile. These are all spectacular. The owners also ha e such a passion for this and they've always been really friendly and helpful and you can tell they really care. I love this place and am so happy they're part of the neighborhood!

The best cakes I’ve ever tasted. Everything is baked on site and the cheesecake is unreal. I highly recommend Paddy Cakes. The shop itself is welcoming and has a lovely ambience. Patrick (Paddy the baker) is so wonderful and his wife Chrystal (the creator and decorator) is even more lovely. Go and visit, you will not be disappointed. The only downside to this wonderful shop is I will need to go to the gym to justify all the cake I will eat!

Amazing Guinness and chocolate cake, light, not overly sweet, also had a caramel tart which was equally delicious - beautiful cakes made with care and skill, best I've had in ages.

Oh gosh, the best cheesecake i’ve ever had! I’m a chef too so in the beginning i wasn’t sure about the sponge cake base for the cheesecake but then magic happened! So velvety, creamy. I’m a bit scared of getting addicted to this place though. So nice to have talented people in our neighbourhood. Pop in to have a lovely treats and warm welcome. I’ll absolutely come back with my family next week for my birthday. Thank you guys!

Though there's no shortage of cafes on Fortess Road, I'm pleased to see this excellent new addition - the quality of the coffee and cakes already exceeds its neighbours. The coffee is rich without being bitter, and the chocolate cupcake I had was beautiful - usually I find cakes with lots of buttercream on a bit too sugary, so the cream cheese frosting was perfect for me, luxurious without being too sweet

The pre-launch event was such an amazing experience. The cheesecake was so luxurious and the comfortable furniture and sleek interior makes it the perfect place to get work done, while sipping on a rich cappuccino. I highly recommend visiting on Tuesday's opening.
