Website doesn't exist, and no comments since May 2019. Must be shortest lived restaurant ever ! Anyone been there ?

Really made to feel looked after here, but not obtrusively - just pleasant and genuine...and a very Italian vibe. Food was really good -better Arancini than I've had in Italy. The table d'hote was excellent value - the Pollo Milanese was first class and lots of it. The Sicilian white was very easy drinking and very more-ish. All in all a great meal and a lovely experience.

Been here a couple of times, most recently with some friends for my Birthday Lovely place, best Italian I've been to AMAZING FOOD! Great cocktails!! Stylish atmosphere and really friendly staff, who go above and beyond, highly recommend! Will definitely be back

Visited yesterday with my wife and 3 kids. Pizzas were good and well priced. Service was ok. Disappointed in regards to the deserts, i asked for a 2 scoops of ice cream for our 3 kids to share and was charged just under £10 for the pleasure which was massively overpriced.

I visited here with some friends and was not disappointed ! Really tasty food starters,mains and dessert were all delicious . Will definitely be back to try the pizza making with my children !

I dropped in for a quick meal before a visit to the cinema at FirstSite. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but it was early. The food is reasonably priced and the service is swift. I will definitely return. Colchester’s restaurant scene needs good Italian food. This hits the spot!

Went here with the family recently and had a really good experience with the food and service. I myself had the lamb which was recommend by the owner himself and I was absolutely blown away by the flavours of the dish. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something new. Thank you once again for the great afternoon we had.

The food was brilliant well balanced flavour that even speaks in the aroma. All the food is cooked to order and they do cater to gluten intolerance as well as vegetarian appetites.

A great new restaurant. It is good to have a quality place to eat at that end of town. It's just up the road from Colchester town station so I got the train there from Wivenhoe, really easy. Met my daughter for lunch and prosecco. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Also reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is laid out very well and has a lovely atmosphere, with nice touches like fresh flowers on the tables. Alberto the host is very welcoming. After having lunch we were having such a nice time we stayed until early evening chatting, drinking and watching the world go by. Definitely recommend Osteria Veneziana

We went there for dinner as we noticed it was new in town, the owner was very friendly and the food was amazing. Queen Street isn't the 1st place you think of when going out for a nice meal, but we will definitely be going back and the location shouldn't put you off!!

The food speaks for itself absolutely fantastic. I forgot to post photos on last comment. The presentation and quality of food and service you will not get in any other Italian restaurant in Colchester and I have tried them all .

Was looking at the menu when the owner pulled us in. He was very friendly and sociable throughout our meal which was lovely. Food was very tasty!!! All fresh, good wine, great service. Would definitely recommend to anyone

We went here for lunch having seen good things about it online. The food was amazing the the inside of the restaurant looks great. Would certainly recommend checking it out...and eating a wood fired calzone!!!

The food and service was lovely!, the waiter was lovely, not hovering but always making sure we had drinks, we had the carbonara and the chicken and we'd definitely recommend! Lovely place all around

This restaurant has only just opened and we really hope it is a great success. The food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We just popped in for lunch and were so impressed with the quality, and standard of both the service and food. We really do encourage you to support this family run restaurant in Colchester- it is a a real gem !

I had chateaubriand with a king prawn linguine pasta, for dessert a homemade tiramasu and a large glass of red wine. Food and service were very good. The meat was cooked perfectly!:) I reccommend this place👍🏻
