Oscars Pizza Pasta Burgers in West Lothian

Ordered food online, pizza arrived sloppy and undercooked. The dessert too was a waste of money.

Had a great night at Oscar's last night. The food was delicious and the 2 courses for £8.95 weekday deal included a chicken pakora and a STEAK with delicious mushroom sauce and I was blown away by the price. The three female staff were mostly friendly and attentive, especially the young lady who came from the bar to take our food order. The beer selection was limited with only Birra Moretti on tap and some other bottled lager. I would have liked to see an ale or an IPA but that's just personal taste. The Birra Moretti was refreshing enough. The cocktail menu was slimmed down from our last visit but my wife still found two cocktails she was happy with. The only negative was on arrival, the two female staff were very busy behind the counter and unfortunately we were ignored when we arrived. My wife pressed the bell but we still were ignored. When we went around to the counter they did apologise but even an acknowledgement "we'll be with you in a second" would have been nice.

We ordered take-out, and it took around an hour to prepare. The food was good, and the staff were polite. They were out of the pop we wanted, no big deal. The pop being warm was odd, though. 3 🌟 because no napkins, no silverware, no sauce. Overall, it is a good value.

We ordered online and had to wait over an hour for a couple burgers. We ordered a drink with our food, and they ended up not having what we ordered. They didn't tell us until we came to pick up the food, so we ended up getting a drink neither of us liked. A heads up would have been nice; they had an entire hour to notify us. We got no utensils, and no napkins with our order. Overall not a great experience, but maybe eating in would be better.

Had this delivered at home, very fast delivery - 30 mins. Food was fresh and hot, spicy cajun pasta is a must try! Portion sizes are good too.

Had the Sunday roast and it was great i strongly recommend it toffee sticky pudding was lovely too staff friendly and welcoming all in all great place for a family dinner

ordered two burgers one chicken the other halloumi. The meat was dry and both burgers looked like they had both been sitting out for an hour, the chips were also barely warm, soggy and looked like they had also been sitting for an hour before it was delivered. wont be ordering from Oscars again absolutely abysmal.

Food is great most of the time but the service is SHOCKING. Rude waitresses who ignore you, put your food down without asking if you need anything. Dont check how it is or need more drinks. Dont offer dessert menus. I ended up leaving early after being ignored the whole evening and having to go to the bar to get my own drink and had to go looking for salt after waitress ignored me when I asked.

Came for dinner food amazing must be a new chef but front of house absolutely shocking we had to ask for a drink after waiting 15mins then had to ask for someone to take our order ask young staff where too busy talking didn't ask if we needed any condiments just put food down and walked away think they need to look at the staff serving as it was shocking but the food was amazing

Ordered two burgers, The Balmoral and the Halloumi burger. Probably the best burgers I've ever had on Just Eat. Great flavour, very full, still nice and hot!

Service was terrible, several times we had to go to the bar to ask them to come and serve our table. One of the orders was wrong and was left sitting well the rest had dinner. Dirty plates left on table well after Everyone had finished eating and again had to ask twice before it was cleaned. To then be hit with a service charge on our bill. Disappointed is an understatement!

At a 21st Birthday party and overall 5* plus! Bar staff, DJ and buffet was FAB!

This was a complete waste of money, the salad was limp and 4 tempura prawns is a joke for £7.50 for that price should be double and a decent amount of salad should be provided. There was a blonde waitress who waited until I went to toilet to bad mouth me to the person I was with who I don’t know very well . The girl has an issue with me , and has no right to discuss me with anyone, especially someone I barely know, she kept hovering around the table to try and make me feel uncomfortable, although the person I was with didn’t tell me about her comments until I was home. Based on what she disclosed I will be seeking legal advice about data protection, and my rights. I’m having a very difficult time and have been on the receiving end of domestic abuse that affected my mental health, and she disclosed my breakdown with a ver near stranger to me. Istruggle to leave the house, and that had been the first time I’d left home since Christmas Day so as well as being disappointed with the food, I was subjected to abuse as she tried to intimidate me and embarrass me,

Pre-ordered well in advance to get close to on time, frustrated by it being more than 30 minutes late. Food fine, it would have been better if it was hotter, I assume it had been with the driver for ages so it had suffered. Pizza box states ‘the best pizza in Livingston’, it’s fine, but it didn’t live up to their claim.

The food was lovely, large portions so be prepared, staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

Went for lunch with my wife. Both lasagne and burger were nice. Portions are pretty big. Staff were great. Will be back.

Hidden Livingston gem. We had some excellent pasta dishes, the portion sizes were generous and the sauces were simply amazing, we couldn't get enough of them. The staff was very polite and helpful and the atmosphere was nice and laid back. Will definitely come back!

Amazing service. We were needing dinner with a quick turnaround to attend a show on time. They contacted us ahead of our visit to ensure the food could be pre-ordered and ready to go when we arrived, and they did exactly that. The food was also great, large portions and super tasty. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. It is so rare to receive good service nowadays and I wanted to let them know we appreciated it!

Myself & my husband went here yesterday and the food was genuinely disgusting bruschetta was absolutely vile huge chunks of tomato and garlic and the chicken strips where more like chicken balls from the Chinese , the puff pastry on my steak pie was not cooked properly and all soggy the burger my husband got was vile and the burger like rubber very very over priced for a hard to get to burger place the place with dead with 2 other people in it I would not come back here again

Had dinner last night at Oscars! Fantastic service by the staff, greet by friendly member of staff confirm all test and trace details and explain what methods they had put in place to keep all safe including taking customers temptress. Food was delish and served promptly and hot. Our server was polite and very efficient. 1st time back in the restaurant for a while as been doing deliveries and very impressed with the service we received :)

Lovely food and generous portion too.

Small pizzeria but nice and fresh looking interior and a nice outdoor seating in the back . Pizzas were pretty good, thin crust and hardly any crust from the amount of filling. Doesn't appear like much from the outside, won't even appear like they are open from the way entrance is.

I was the only one eating in, food was hot but chicken bit over cooked and greasy, was very tasty however.

The food is good. We often order online and they respect the order in every aspect.

Bruschetta was really tasty. Steak was a little overcooked but still nice, good value for money. Will book again soon.

Place is beautifully decorated. Me and my friend had the burgers. They were lovely. Was quiet when we went in and then became more busy but service remained the same which was slightly slow. I had my back to the bar so thought there was only 4 people on the floor to cover other tables...there wasn't. There was 4 people to cover 6 tables at most at one point and we still had to wave down people to get more drinks and the bill and we were asked if ok and still took a while for plates to be removed from table. I would definitely go again and the "complaint/feedback" I'm giving is me trying to be helpful as some people might not appreciate waiting for service especially if it's 15 quid a burger. They did however ask us a couple times of everything was ok 👍 but still never took our plates away.

Pizza dough is very poor quality.

Popped in when passing. The pasta mains were really good but the mushrooms starter was frozen mushrooms. Chicken Gougions were not great either. Would be great if these could be fresh/better Staff good and ample parking. I saw another diners burgers and they looked very good.

The food was amazing so I can't fault that but a few extras I had as part of my order never came like the nutella with the churros and the spicy buffalo sauce with my chicken goujons and I paid extra for cheese on my pasta and never received that either

It was Saturday night and decided on an impromptu date night. Called up at 1830 and booked a table for 1930. Amazing service! Got there a little early and had a drink in the bar area. At halfpast wandered through and was seated right away. Got another round of drinks and asked about meal, which was quickly answered. We placed our order and it came iut really quickly, I got the steak pie which was outstanding just the right amount of meat to gravey with chips and some veg( I don't normally like veg but this was tasty). My partner got the Southern fried chicken burger which she demolished (I was only allowed one bite of it, LMFAO). Was a great night out and tremendous food. I think we'll be back again soon or just get take away ;)

Dark hair in partners cheese burger, smoke sausage was not like other chippy, tasted strange very small. No ice cream that was wanted. Wouldn't go back.

Food was good quality however staff not as quite. Went for a meal with family and all seemed good, got our food drinks ect was pretty satisfied with the service however as I had gone to the bar afterwards one of the young bartenders seemed really rude I had ordered my drinks and paid as walking away I had overheard her make a snide comment to which I assume was her friends or some regulars at this place. This is not the service I would expect to hear staff talk about customers let alone overhearing them speak about you. I think this is absolutely outrageous and think this member of staff should maybe be spoken to and taught how to treat people with respect and not bring your business down! I never got her name which now I wish I had however she had dark hair and glasses if that’s helps. I will definitely not be back after this appalling service.

The pesto pasta had a very strange taste, almost like it had washing up liquid in it.

I really rated this to be honest, I feel like it deserves a higher rating in general. It was slightly cold but it's a takeaway so it's expected, and that would be my only comment because it was great value for money, delicious and very very filling!

We used to love the burgers from here , but we ordered 3 last night and they are not the same meat , tasted very Metallic like a metal taste , was disappointed as at one point they done the best burgers .

Food is really good, hot and there is lots of it. Nice decor, kind of rustic with a bit of an American twist. Very reasonable prices on wine and prosecco.

After a long drive up from Kent and finding this place on Google maps I'm so pleased we stumbled upon it, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the waiting staff are so attentive,polite and nothing is to much bother,the food was wholesome greatly cooked and plentiful, I had the stake pie with big chunks of meat perfectly cooked the whole thing was delicious,the rest of my family were equally impressed with their meals too, so for great cooked homely food that's at a fair price this is the place yo eat

Ordered and delivered in under 39 minutes. Starters and burgers first class. And proper crispy fries. Really enjoyed our meal.

1 star because they answered the phone! Ordered at 19.03. Expected delivery 19.50. Called 20.23 to progress chase. Told delivery left "ten minute ago" Driver arrived 20.31 (have cameras) Driver said "left a few minutes ago". Rejected the delivery as burgers don't hold well in a sweaty bag for 20 minutes. I was told that the restaurant can't offer refunds until specific members of staff are available ?!?!

Lovely food but order was wrong upon arrival. Food was also cold, this is the second time we’ve ordered and it was cold last time too. Such a shame when then good is so nice but defo won’t be ordering again.

This was lovely , had a 50 th party at weekend In function suite & it was lovely & very clean . Staff very polite very private as well , plus there was someone on the door to for safety which l loved . I will use it again , if ur wanting a massive party then not big enough , but for 50/60 guests it was perfect . Easy access as well

They estimated delivery an hour to an hour and a half from order, I expected this as a Saturday night however was pleasantly surprised when I was told it was on its way 20 mins later. 1st time ordering for m Oscars and the pizza was amazing, will defo order my pizzas from them again

Lovely meal and first xlass service

We ate here once before 2 years ago and it stuck in our minds. We were in the area so went again and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely staff, great food!

The carbonara was full of thick fatty meat and full of grease it could not be eaten, the chips and garlic bread was cold This was awful quality those evening no idea if your cook has changed from previous orders but doubt we will be ordering again due to this, such a disappointment

We did not stay to try the food so this is a review based purely upon the poor service. We left after being seated for 5 minutes with a menu and no staff serving us. I approached the bar to ask for some drinks and was told ‘I will be with you in a minute’ by the man steaming milk. The young woman hovering about did a sterling job of ignoring us so we left. They did bring food out to 3 just eat deliveries so I guess these make them money. No one asked us why we were leaving so they were oblivious to their really bad service.

Fabulous hot fresh food and the service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff 😊
