Osaka Japanese Restaurant in Enfield

1. Pad Thai: "I recently tried Pad Thai and it was a delightful experience. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors was spot on. The addition of fresh herbs and peanuts gave it a wonderful texture. Highly recommend!" 2. Chow Mein: "I had the beef Chow Mein and it was a comforting and satisfying meal. The stir-fried noodles were cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were crunchy and flavorful. The choice of protein (beef in my case) was tender and well-seasoned. A great option for a quick and tasty meal." 3. Singaporean Chow Mein: "Singaporean Chow Mein was a fusion of flavours that blew me away. The combination of curry spices and stir-fried noodles was a delightful surprise. It had just the right amount of heat and a medley of ingredients like chicken, and vegetables. If you enjoy bold flavours, this dish is a must-try."

I am so disappointed!!! Over a, year ago, I ordered a take away, enjoyed it so much that my friend and I visited the restaurant last April ( see my previous review) it was outstanding. Ordered a take away this evening, the Chicken Katsu Curry Donburi, was just chicken and rice, the sauce was absent, bland and not what we ordered. The tofu version, had the sauce, but tasted nothing like a Katsu, so sweet and salty, chewy tofu also. The vegetable tempura weren't freshly made, definitely fried from frozen, cauliflower tasted of nothing and was a white mush. Sadly I will not be ordering another take away or attending the restaurant... New chef, cutting back? Who knows. £29. 00 paid for food that was less than average.

Ordered a pad Thai, quite possibly the most awful pad Thai I’ve ever had. Wrong type of noodles, no flavour, it’s actually made me feel sick. And I’ve just seen this place only has a 2 hygiene rating now 🤢

Ordered via Uber eats for takeaway. Not only did the food take forever to come, way after expected arrival, it also came cold. The squid was over cooked and chewy, the katsu curry was average at best and the food was not worth the price at all. They also didn’t label any of the food which was received.

Had an absolute nightmare with this restaurant! Tried to order food for take away ages ago and they were closed but I was still able to order food online. Then tried to go last week and booked a table online only to arrive to a closed restaurant even though info online said it was open. Can't comment on the food - never had it.

My friend & I visited yesterday. Food, environment & staff attention were outstanding. 100% recommend this gem of a restaurant in Winchmore Hill. We were greeted & seated in a friendly, warm & professional manner. Even though the restaurant was fairly empty there was an existing ambience afforded by the decor, table lay out, music & staff presence. We were astounded by the menu, the vast choice of dishes available;suitable for meat eaters, pescatarians, vegetarians & vegans, a joy to find a restaurant that offers this range locally. We were served quickly, the food was plated beautifully, fresh, tasty and visually appealing. The cold starter was perfectly prepared and the right temperature. We followed the starter with asalmon Domburi & a beef Domburi , the portion sizes exceeded ample, nice & hot. Plates were cleared away at the right time & in a non intrusive polite manner. We completed our meal with a delicious & traditional desert. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, it seems a great shame that the restaurant was fairly empty as it has so much to offer, in addition to supporting our local businesses. Thank you Osaka, we will be back very soon.
