What can I say? While we sat there, three people sent their food back. The food is extremely bland, lacking seasoning, all kinds of flavour. All I could see was people adding salt and chilli oil to their food. Like I said, three people sent their food back, including ourselves. Very, very bland.

Guy called Alex stated that if you make an order on Deliveroo and you call the restaurant to inform them that you want your steak well done that apparently that’s not possible only when you order in person which is conplete non sense I’ve ordered from Wagamama for years and never heard such thing the other supposed manager in there today 14/10/2024 did not want to identify himself which in my opinion is completely unacceptable for a manager to not identify themselves id like this to be looked at very seriously and for the appropriate action to be taken.

*** to the head office staff**** I am writing to formally express my disappointment with a recent experience at one of your branches. Having been a loyal customer for years, I am accustomed to a certain standard from Wagamama that I feel was not met during this visit, leading me to question the consistency and professionalism at this location. On 14/10/2024, I placed an order through Deliveroo, including a steak dish. As is common in other restaurants, including other Wagamama branches, I expected that I would be able to request my steak to be cooked to my preference. However, upon calling the restaurant to confirm that I wanted my steak well-done, I was told by a staff member named Alex that it was “impossible” to accommodate this request unless ordered in person. This response was both surprising and frustrating, as I have frequently ordered from Wagamama and have never encountered such a restriction. The explanation given—that the steak “cooks inside the takeaway box”—seems illogical and unlike any policy I have encountered. Additionally, Alex informed me that it is not Wagamama’s practice to provide extra sauces for takeaway orders, despite the fact that most other restaurants and all Wagamama branches I have ordered from have always accommodated this simple request without question. This inconsistency not only creates confusion for customers but also significantly detracts from the overall dining experience. Furthermore, when I requested to speak with a manager to seek clarity on these issues, another individual, who claimed to be the manager, refused to identify himself. In my opinion, it is unacceptable for a manager to withhold their identity from a customer, especially in response to a complaint. This lack of transparency only serves to exacerbate the frustration and leaves a poor impression of your team’s dedication to customer service. Given the above, I urge Wagamama to look into this incident thoroughly. I believe that both the staff’s behavior and the confusing policy explanations need immediate attention to ensure that your longstanding customers receive the high standards we have come to expect. I trust that appropriate action will be taken, and I look forward to your response. Thank you for addressing this matter seriously.

Places Food & Drink Order 25minutes later… here is your main 15minutes later… here is your drink 20minutes later… here is your starter 10minutes later… here is your other persons drink 15min later… here is your other main 10mins later… here is your other starter… This Place is INCREDIBLY DISORGANISED. Do not waste your time or money. They will come to your table 3/4 times during your sitting trying to serve you somebody else’s starters or mains as they don’t even know what food is going where. You will have a much better experience sitting in McDonald’s spending a quarter of the price. Who ever the manager is of this store, probably needs to hand there resignation in and go and find himself a job he can actually handle.

Thank Heavens for Wagamamas in Enfield, especially when you are new to the area. In this unlikely location - immediately off the A10; it is near a cinema and a gym - it is superbly satisfying and convenient for a drop in. The food out of the kitchen is fresh and wholesome and even though the staff are run ragged, they hold it all together with welcoming politeness. Perfect take home after a long day and brilliant after a matinee movie. Be warned, it is a hot family favourite at the weekend, and so it should be.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon (2 adults and a toddler). The food was very good when it eventually arrived, but the service was very poor. When we arrived, it took the staff ages to even acknowledge us. We were eventually seated at a table and we were ready to order quickly, but nobody came over to take our order. After a long wait, we finally managed to ask someone to take our order. The food then came out before our drinks order and we had to chase for this as it had been forgotten. Overall, an underwhelming experience. We wouldn't visit this branch again.

His hospitality was unmatched, as he went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect evening. The food, as always, was delicious. We enjoyed the prawns pad Thai and squid both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The presentation was immaculate, and the portion sizes were generous. Mr. Kazi personally checked in multiple times, making us feel valued and well cared for. Man who took our order was very slow, we have allergies so accepted this as we didn't want to be sick. Food took ages. Asked for cutlery, 10 minutes later still none. Waiter brought food and pointed out I had asked for cutlery 10+ minutes ago. He went to get some, walked back towards us then turned back and went off to do something. I went and got some from another table, he eventually came back, I said don't bother I got my own. He then proceded to tell me I shouldn't speak to him like that. Our order was wrong, 2 things never arrived, one came eventually, asked for it to takeaway to be told they hadn't started it yet. One of the starters was supposed to be vegan was meat. Waiter said as we were leaving, I will look after you next time. Maybe you should have looked after us this time.

You’ll wait 15 minutes to be seated, then they’ll put you on some shared table with strangers, you’ll then wait 10 minutes to order and 30 minutes for your food, which will be nice but such a small portion only a child would be full. Then you’ll pay a hefty price for the experience. Also the manager is useless. He needs to spend less time polishing forks and talking to the female staff and make sure customers are happy.

Issue with food delivery times, the restaurant was not full at this time and did not appear to be busy, so not sure why we had to wait so long for the food to arrive. The staff were incredibly friendly but had us waiting for long periods of time, especially towards the second part of the meal, in addition to lengthy wait times, the deserts took ages to arrive. Food was nice enough but due to money for value and wait-time, not sure if we will come back to eat here as it does not feel worth it.

This was our first visit to Wagamama, and i must say we were all a bit disappointed. The servers were unatentive and slow. We had 4 sides and 4 mains and at the end we were still hungry. The portions were small, and to pay £105 for 4 people, we thought was not value for money.

The service is O K, they are attentive but sometimes uncoordinated ie bringing same dish twice from two different servers. Finally, the atmosphere is fine. Terrible food for £100 for 5 people. Food arrived and there were missing items, wrong items and leaking packaging. The small amount of food we could recover was bland. Tasted liked microwaved food and your “chefs” must have missed the apprenticeship training that or you teach them not to season anything.

Okay so the food was soo good i forgot to take a photo… but just imagine it for me. Went for the curry chicken rice bow suggested by Carla, “it has a kick to it” but it was cool. Drizzled a little soy sauce sharif was really helpful Mateo made a tonic… it was a tonic. I dont really do tonics but i thought why not. It was okay but then he made me this sweet pink juice… ooft i preferred the sweet pink juice (anyone trying to order “ the sweet pink juice” clues in the name its sweet but nice too. Overall the service was really good!

This quiet and chilled place, a Saturday that wasn't busy with loud noises, just ba very relaxed atmosphere where staff tried not to impose the same corporate sales , but were trying to be friendly and polite , this helped but the time to interrupt with " hows your meal" just as you are eating a mouthful is a bit hard to explore. The food was good and. As with chains the menu is familiar and food tasted lovely however the cost of drinks are quite high . Thanks for a nice peaceful time 🌹

This was my previous review: "Great restaurant to have dinner." Unfortunately I have to downgrade it. - Service was subpart, we were waiting by the door for a while seeing our waitress just standing a few meters away, she then just gestured for us to follow her and sat down at a table while we saw her leave. We then spent 20 minutes waiting whilst she was just walking around until she decided to take our order. - Food was very bad, I mean actually tasteless, we were served 5 gyozas straight after asking for them, meaning that they had them ready to serve, they were really bad, hard and undercooked. Ramen was really really bad, I ordered the veggie, tofu not cooked, stock tasteless, cold and it was just noodles with a salad on top, there was much raw carrot! Puagh!

My friend and I visited Wagamama yesterday, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the service. Our food took an hour to arrive, and to add to the frustration, it was served cold, prompting us to send it back. Sadly, I ended up with food poisoning afterward, which raises concerns about the food's handling. Additionally, the drinks were subpar. Overall, my experience left much to be desired in terms of quality.

From the moment we walked into the door we encountered excellence. Seated promptly. Allowed to change table with grace. Alex helped with our order - confirming all the dishes are wonderful with clear descriptions. The dishes were fresh with delightful layed flavours. Tama and Chilli Squd, crispy then firm bites with perfect drizzles. Both our mains left us silent as we enjoyed every bite. We were warmly welcomed, the food well balanced in its sweetness, spicy, crisp and tender, frieldly attentive staff created a comfortable environment.

My 13 year old son choose here for his birthday dinner and also dictated the rating. The staff was on point with communication. We could see that the restaurant was full, but we didn't have to wait very long and while we waited we didn't feel forgotten or ignored. Our server explained that different parts of our order may come at different times because each dish takes a different prep time. We perfectly understood and because we knew what to expect we didn't have any unpleasant surprises. The dishes were delicious, flavourful and well presented. The atmosphere was energetic, but not overly stimulating.

Ordered on deliveroo and after waiting for 90 minutes, I tried to get in touch with the restaurant, they didn't pick up the phone and Deliveroo couldn't contact them either. On the app, I could see drivers kept going to the restaurant to pick up the food, they hung around for a bit then had to leave due to it not being ready. In the end, I had to ask deliveroo for a refund, this was after 2 hours of not recieving my order and Wagamamas not answering the phone. Avoid this site.

Service quality was poor. They first brought the wrong dish to our table, then they decided to bring the main dishes one by one, and to top that off, we had to wait for our starters to arrive one by one, after we finished our main courses. In addition, when the waiter decided to bring the first starter dish, he basically throw the starter on the table and walked off to the next table in a disrespectful manner. Our waiter changed 4 times during the period and the initial waiter failed to take the order properly. I'd recommend not going there on Saturdays, as they have the worst staff during that time it seems.

Me and my son visited Wagamamas today for a spot of lunch! We was on our way elsewhere but he suggested Wagamamas as he loves the cauliflower bang bang! Plus me being a pescatarian I’m a fan of the tofu firecracker. We had the pleasure of having Mel meet all our needs! She always has a smile on her face! It’s always a pleasure to see her. The food was fantastic (Firecracker Tofu main, Ebi Katsu and cauliflower bang bang starters. I’m gutted the chocolate cherry ice cream is no longer on the menu it was the best desert ever!

One of those unfortunate visits where lots of things went wrong with the service.. accidentally being given and eating (eurgh!) the chicken gyoza and not realising till the veggie ones turned up later. Having to twice chase the kids meal which turned out had not been put into the machine correctly. Kare Buroso made with the wrong broth (plain miso, not curried) which frankly ruined it, so bland. Manager made good where he could.

I just ordered on deliveroo (28th Aug 2023) and it was superb. I have always been a fan of the restaurant and I was hesitant to get it delivered. But it was fantastic. My two favourite dishes were as good as always and I am stuffed. Thank you.

Went to this branch a few days ago, food was amazing as always. We were asked if we would like some drinks after we sat down which was very nice but the whole time we were ordering (food and drinks) our waitress seemed to be distracted and not paying attention to us. I had ordered a prawn firecracker (amazing) but when the food was brought to my table it was a chicken firecracker, I had told one of the waitresses who was very apologetic and she said she’d fix it straight away. I then had the distracted waitress bring me my food that I ordered and gave me attitude saying “oh you wanted prawn you asked for chicken” I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to seem rude but I was so upset how little she made me feel just because she maybe got a bit confused or just didn’t hear me properly. Other than that I love coming to this branch, always have amazing service and food.

Had a really lovely dining in experience with my 8 year old today because of Gada! My son has autism and ADHD and he wanted to come here today. Our hostess was super from the moment we walked in till we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals including mains and starters. I trusted her recommendations with the chilli squid starter and it was a hit. Both of us are pescatarians and Gada knew her stuff and because of her we will be back again soon. She delivered excellent customer service! 4/8/23 The management at Enfield is the finest you can find. Prince the manager always goes that extra mile and comes to our table and has a chat. No matter where we are seated in the restaurant he will make sure we are ok and always welcomes us with a smile. No matter how busy the restaurant is he always makes time for the diners. My 8 year old is a fan of Prince. Today my son brang along his Power Ranger MEgazord and Prince and him had a chat which made my sons day. We were also served by Stellios. A lovely, smiley young man who brang my son his favourite desert the banana katsu. No matter where we are in London we always come back to Enfield Wagamamas because of the fantastic customer service we receive! It’s our go-to-restaurant twice a week.

Really great service in here on a Saturday afternoon. We waited a bit longer as staff suggested they'll clean a booth for us rather than a shared table which was really kind. Had a great time here food was lovely and fast. Paying the bill is super easy using the QR code.

The food was horrendous, dry and tasteless, worst I ever had and overpriced. The menu looked awful and they didn't have half the dishes that were on there. The juice we ordered tasted horrible and it was lukewarm, the cocktail tasted like soap. What a waste of money, I should have asked for a refund, I left the restaurant angry. It was so bad.

As a vegan, I rarely go out to eat but my friends and I chose Wagamamas specifically for the tofu options. The queue was out the door (Sunday evening) and despite lots of free spaces there was a long wait to be seated. We didn't stay as there were no tofu options available! Given that was the reason we chose this restaurant we left and went to a more reliable establishment. I appreciate that few people choose the tofu option, but it is a poor show to have as an option on the menu but not in reality. Slow service, lack of food options and sticky tables. I shall not be returning.

Ordered for takeaway. Driver turns up saying he forgot the card machine. Driver said he didn’t have any change either. Says on the website you can pay with card or cash. No apology . Portion sizes are incredibly small. I’ve eaten in the restaurant and had a much better experience. Not worth the takeaway experience ,you honestly get better value from Asda sushi. I e mailed my concerns and was totally ignored. At the very least an apology for the pathetic driver service of not card machine or change or option to pay on line. Service like a back street takeaway. Please don’t bother.

Simple, yummy, fresh! No need for more. Love this place, atmosphere is great, the place is designed simple and elegant. Staff are lovely, and all three front of house have been there for long which is a good sign! We had today the new addition salmon poke bowl. Was lovely with a mountain of sushi, some saki and below £50 mark!
