Simple, yummy, fresh! No need for more. Love this place, atmosphere is great, the place is designed simple and elegant. Staff are lovely, and all three front of house have been there for long which is a good sign! We had today the new addition salmon poke bowl. Was lovely with a mountain of sushi, some saki and below £50 mark!

My husband and I came here last night with the family for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere, quality of the food and service were amazing! Edwin was the gentleman that served us. He was really professional, friendly with a very happy demeanour and served us with a smile on his face. He, along with the rest of the staff really made our wedding anniversary very special and we thank everyone wholeheartedly for a perfect place to go on our special evening :-) We'll definitely be coming back!! xx

We visited Kiyoto restaurant last weekend, and it was a wonderful experience as always. All staff were attentive and friendly, especially Victoria, who was very helpful, and we felt comfortable throughout the meal. The sushi set, various types of tempura, and several other side dishes were all delicious, and even our Japanese friends made very positive comments. We have been coming here regularly for the past few years, and every time enjoyed a meal here. The reasonable prices are also a big plus. Thank you。

Food is absolutely amazing, We’ve been here about 30 times and it never disappoints, The staff are also really attentive,we had a waiter called Nick who was so polite / knowledgeable on the food. Highly recommended, definitely recommend the yellow tail carpaccio.

Having been recommended Kiyoto we were passing and felt it was time to visit. You need to arrive early or make a booking as this place is busy. The food and service is excellent.

The moment you get in, you are seated straight away. Nick was our waiter, he was really polite and did a great job, the food came fast and was lovely. Would always go again. Love it!!

Brilliant sushi and sashimi - if you have only had takeaway from a high street chain - eat here and experience the next level without needing a mortgage. Pretty plain inside, but you dont go to this place for the decor - just lovely food thatis prepared fresh to order. I'll be back.

Nick and all the other staff members have incredible service. They are always so polite, efficient and make us feel very welcome. The food is better (in my opinion) than high end sushi restaurants in London, so clearly the chefs are experts!! The value for money is amazing too! Always an excellent meal at Kiyoto. Tons of veggie options which are fresh and original. Staff are so helpful and service is always prompt (Nick and Jessica are always wonderful). We go all the time and would absolutely encourage it if you're in the area (you might need to book!)

The sushi here is fantastic! Husband and I have been to the restaurant a couple times and probably ordered a few more than that! They have never let us down. We’ve pretty much tried a bit of everything and love it all and everything is very clearly fresh. The service is also fantastic. Special mention to the Spicy yellow tail hand roll and the super spider roll 🥰

Really nice, sushi restaurant: small but perfectly formed. Good quality food, open kitchen so you can see it's being prepared freshly. My only niggle is that they close between 3 and 5pm which is often when I want to eat! * Update, still loving this place! The best staff in the world...

I’ve been coming here since it opened and I can gladly say it is my favourite restaurant of all time! Sushi is my favourite cuisine so I have tried many places but none have topped this place! The food is so delicious and has always tasted fresh and amazing I have never had a bad visit !The service is the best I’ve ever received especially Edwin, Victoria and Harry. I always get a very warm welcome and it adds to the experience! I’ve brought many of my family and friends and all of them have enjoyed it just as much as I have. My rating would be 15/10 I love this place!❤️

This is a great new discovery and even though I don’t live in the area anymore, I will definitely be back. Had lots of vegan options on the menu, the sushi was freshly made to order, I highly recommend the side dishes of Japanese pickles and the seaweed. The plates are beautifully presented and the service quick and friendly. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Been a very happy regular here since it opened. The food is high quality and perhaps better still, consistent every time it's ordered. The staff are all welcoming, courteous and efficient; I feel properly looked after when I dine there - they make the Kyoto Sushi Cockfosters a delight to visit, whether I am collecting a take away or dining in. An amazing place to visit. The food was fantastic and as people who have been to Japan we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and presentation being as high as it was. The customer service was second to none, staff were genuinely nice and really good at anticipating our needs. A great buzz in the venue that attracts a real diverse group of people, which all adds to how nice it is in there.

I eat here often with my dad and always have the Sashimi set. It's an extremely generous portion and so fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere is fantastic and the prices are fair. Today; we were given 5***** Service and attention from the wonderful Victoria whose smile lights up the whole place and nothing is too much trouble :-). Also; Nick whom is also often working there keeps the place running smoothly and provides excellent and professional service. Not enough staff to deal with the amount of customers. The kitchen forgot to prepare my order and we ended up waiting an extra half an hour for it because we kept getting told it would only be an extra 10 mins. The food here is not good enough for this. The waitress was really good despite having to deal with all the diners herself

Kiyoto is an absolute gem in Barnet! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful ambiance. The sushi is simply outstanding, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Each bite is a journey of culinary excellence. The takeaway service is prompt and efficient, ensuring that even when dining at home, you get to experience the same level of quality and taste. Kiyoto has definitely become our go-to spot for sushi cravings, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Five stars all the way!

The best Sushi in Barnet! It is a shame they do not do an all you can eat menu, but the quality and price definitely makes up for this. Extremely big portions of high quality sushi for a great price.

Brilliant. The strip at Cockfosters is riddled with gaudy restaurants knocking out bang average food...so to find this place amongst that lot was an absolute result. It's proper; from the understated decor to the excellent sushi, Kiyoto feels more Soho than Southgate. We had an incredible lunch with wonderful service at a very reasonable price. A true oasis in the culinary desert that is Cockfosters. Well done all involved; we'll be seeing you again soon.

I went with two friends & it was a wonderful experience. I'd never eaten sushi like it. So fresh, apertising & beautifully set out. The staff were attentive & helpful. I will definitely be going there again with others. It's a clean, modern space. Although parking can be hit & miss there is always the train station car park.

Seven of us came to celebrate our friend and his wife having their first baby. The service was beautiful and VICTORIA deserves every recommendation. Amazing vibe, the restaurant itself is spotless, and nice and warm on a freezing winters day,, welcoming staff, super friendly and attentive…Nick the assistant manager obviously takes a real pride in what he does, full size can of Coke Zero not those piddly bottles you get elsewhere and above all the sushi was far far better than over rated Central London restaurants…and extremely generous portions…looking forward to going again…

We went here for Sunday lunch and I must say it’s a gem of place. The menu has great selections and the sushi was amazing and fresh. The service was exceptional too, with fast service, polite and friendly staffs.

Been meaning to leave a review for a while. But kept skipping my mind. As a fan of their Mill Hill & Hampstead branch I was excited when they opened this branch. Especially as they delivered to my flat too from this one. But there was a slight mistake in tonight’s delivery order & I must say & pay big respects to Kiyoto as a whole, namely Ashley from the company & everyone else involved in the procedure. Rectified very professionally. In fairness to me, I’m not one to overreact and make a huge fuss - and as a rule of thumb, I’d recommend other customers to also bare that in mind if and when any issues arises from potential future orders from any restaurant. Particularly when there’s third party delivery companies involved. But everything was done the best way it could. Add to that, that they’re by farm the greatest High Street sushi you’ll find. Safe to say highly recommended 🙏🏽

Been to so many sushi places but this one is definitely my favourite. The food is amazing but what sets it off above the rest is the wonderful staff. Always so helpful, polite and happy. Just an amazing place. If I could give it one criticisms is that that its not big enough. I think they need to move or buy next door.

Waited 25 minutes for food. They where only interested in the take away orders. Rediclious that patrons sitting in the restaurant have to wait while they prioritise the take away orders. We will not be returning neither will any of our friends who eat there regularly.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant but from looking on the menu it doesn’t look like there are any vegetarian/vegan options for mains (e.g Udon, Katsu) Would be great if chicken katsu for example could be swapped out for tofu- an easy change.

Kiyoto Sushi is a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, hard working staff and a range of prices for high quality food. I visited with a friend for lunch, and despite not booking prior to visiting and attending while the restaurant was busy we were served quickly. I have a sesame allergy and the staff, particularly Nick who served us, reassured me that precautions would be taken to ensure that there was no risk of cross contamination. The chef even kindly gave me an extra roll of sushi for free to thank me for waiting! This visit was not the first time I have been to the restaurant, as their lovely food keeps drawing me back.

Fabulous location and idea, no kids menu, not child friendly, a lady had to make a grownup chop sticks out of napkins, children nearly injured them selfs, making restaurant child friendly and safe is mandatory and absolutely insane that no child menu in a heavily family populated area no wonder they are empty during the day. Back toilet area looks bit dirty, there was a man smoking who appeared to be a chef with doors open next to the toilets making the whole area smell of secondhand smoke, not to mention the thought of my chef who made my food has spread cigarette smell on my food that I eat. Ordered grownups ramen for kids never new that breaded chicken is mixed into ramen who does that?? You grill the chicken instead! breaded chicken tasted like soaked bread in a pot Ramen was full of oil and spices, had loads of cabbage, why mushrooms confused?!? which made ramen taste awful such a beautiful dish ruined Ramen should consist of fresh noodles, fresh vegetables stacked nicely on top not mixed in, with options of grilled chicken and steak nicely sliced served to enjoy Something to think about to make this place better as it could be amazing….. However staff at the front was amazing polite My honest opinion

Food was okay. However, the service was terrible. Once we had finished our food, someone came over with the bill, without us asking for it, and said there were others waiting for the table. We had made a reservation prior and we hadn’t even had the table for an hour, nor had we finished our drinks. We were made to leave as the waiter stood beside our table until we got up. Had they said “we need the table in 15 minutes” it may not have been so bad. When I expressed how poor this was on their part the waiter shrugged and mumbled a pathetic “sorry”. Totally unacceptable.

I regularly walk past this resturant from the tube at night and the vibe and food look very appealing. Finally got to check it out for a late lunch and I was not disappointed. We ordered the chicken katsy curry which was absolutely delicious. Chicken was subtlely seasoned and fried to perfection, light and crisp (with no fatty or grisly bits). The curry sauce tasted fantastic and was clearly made from real chicken broth not a ready made sauce. We had no problems with service, our waitress was polite and accommodating. Admittedly it was not peak time, but I think good food is worth waiting for at anytime The restaurant is immaculately clean and has a 5 star food hygiene rating what more can you ask for? Can't wait to go back for their sushi!!!
