O's Thai Cafe in Haringey

Its a very beautiful place and the food is the best thai food i have ever had feels like home.

I had the green curry and steamed dumplings. 10/10 for both. My partner had the panang curry which was 11/10. Will be back soon for sure! Prices are good and staff are very friendly

A duck special of the day was served as a tiny portion, with little in it. Effectively a small, flat bowl of broth with some pieces of green pepper.

Pad thai was decent, pork a bit hard. The egg fried rice was delicious! Peanut sauce too. Not packaged nicely, not sure if it was the shop or the driver's fault, the pad that box was all squeezed and the peanut sauce half spilled. Other than that, the food was very tasty, I will order again.

Food was delicious and service was just as good! The man serving me and my friend was lovely and made the experience excellent. Would definitely come back again for the delicious food and great atmosphere 😊 Had the pad kee mao with beef and the spice level was perfect and it was a hearty meal.

What a great place to eat , just walk in and if table there sit , great staff look after your need and very friendly, great food at a good price , and they do takeaway , good atmosphere too , will be back for more , phad Thai was great and tasty with the chilli on the side so you can spice up as you want . 😋

Always delicious! The weeping tiger and the massaman are the best! Always great service. One of the best restaurants in Crouch End. Not an option for people with celiac disease so can no longer come here.

Ticks all the boxes. Look no further if craving Thai food. Went with friends and we all enjoyed our food. I found the red curry delicious. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Will definitely visit again if i'm in the area. Its a lovely restaurant.

Dining at O’s Thai Cafe was a delightful experience. The Khao Pad Hai Yai stood out with its authentic taste. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. Would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for delicious Thai food in a comfortable setting.

I'm not one to leave reviews but my utter disappointment has driven me to do so. I'm not quite sure how that passes as Thai food. No flavour, severe lack of seasoning and no spice at all! It was so bland and did not taste anything remotely like authentic Thai food. I've had nicer microwave meals from Waitrose. Shockingly bad! Zero stars. I want a refund.

Delivery ok but food cold and small portions

Have been to this popular Thai restaurant in Crouch End a few times and the food cannot be faulted. Do not be fooled by the basic interior decor. This place is a local gem! Authentic, fresh ingredients, very flavourful and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

After 1h56 mins wait, average food turned up so yeah recommending.

Hands down the best Thai food in North London. Keep an eye on their specials as they are always nice. Fried rice was delicious too. Their starters are not to be missed, especially the dumplings and prawn toast.

Excellent variety of Thai dishes available catering to all tastes. The environment is simple and fresh, but with a warm atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced and excellent quality. We dined quite early, but they still had plenty of table. Comes totally recommended.

I’ve been going here for 5 years and food never disappoints, it is our little gem in the middle of Crouch End. Every friend that I introduce it to ends up becoming a regular. Decent price, atmosphere and fresh authentic food.

Didn’t actually visit but ordered a take away - instead of checking they had someone to deliver, they went ahead with the orde and left it waiting over 40 minutes by the time I called to check. Completely useless, took no responsibility, did nothing to resolve the issue - in fact they made it seem it was my fault. Don’t care if their food is good or not, it’s about how they treat the customer especially when things go wrong and quite frankly, they don’t. I completely lost it with them due to their poor attitude towards me and am happy to openly admit it - am getting fed up with places that are quick to take my money but have no concept of who is the customer. I work hard to earn my money and am not prepared to just give it away for sub-par service.

got an order to takeaway, the service was rlly lovely and mmm the food was so good!! Mango rice pudding is one of the yummiest deserts I’ve ever had!! 🤤

Disgusting pad Thai smells like ketchup and the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. Very disappointing.

Pad see ew. You know the dish, noodles caramelised with soy sauce. Simple. NOT! aluminium tub brimming with watery stuff spilling all over the carpet . Literally the worst.

Fabulous food - the deep fried sea bass was something else 👌

Flavours were good. Noodles and mixed starters were quite oily (starters were fried, but oilier than usual). What puts me off is that it really wasn't much food for 2 people for £45 (2 mains, 2 starters and prawn crackers) - we ate it all! And weren't crazy full after. Thought there'd be leftovers for tomorrow. I probably haven't caught up with the cost of living increases, but this will be my last takeaway for a while. App said the driver was at the restaurant for about half an hour and the delivery time kept extending, ended up taking an hour from ordering til delivery, but that's ok.

Very frustrating I put a note on the order page as I know green curry comes with rice and it is possible to pay a little more for coconut rice which I prefer I was sent 2 rice which was exactly what I asked not to happen: coconut and plain Why bother to have space for a note if it is ignored Sara

Don’t usually leave reviews but thoroughly enjoyed my food! The prawn crackers were mad good. The tofu pad Thai was lovely! Happy full thank you!

Very tasty food, delivered quickly for a Saturday night

My partner and I visited O's after wanting to try it for some time. We had a lovely time, the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. They have a good selection on the menu and then some amazing looking specials. We shared a starter and both had a main, this was plenty for two people. O's was definitely value for money and was clearly a favourite for many people as the staff welcomed regular customers and the place was busy with both dine in and takeaway customers. I would highly recommend O's as a relaxed environment to enjoy good food and friendly service. As a side note, I have poor mobility and use crutches, there are three steps from street level into the restaurant and the toilets are down a flight of stairs. This obviously didnt put me off but worth mentioning in case mobility is a consideration for others. Overall I would definitely visit again, well done team O's you are doing a great job. 🙂

Food was a bit thrown together - over-cooked starters, little rice, not very good main, salad was poor. I've been to the place many times before, and had hoped for better. Surprised it was so poor this time.

Pad thai flavours weren't great. Something smelled wrong about the chicken curry, didn't want to risk eating eat. Disappointed

Unfortunately the mains were disappointing. Lacking flavour & Thai authenticity even when I asked for spicy & extra chillies. I left most of the dish as did my partner with his red curry. Neither of us were asked if we enjoyed the food or why we hadn’t eaten much. Overall the experience wasn’t what we had expected

This restaurant was excellent before but something happened then it went downhill. The quality of the food mot as good as before. The portion became like kids portion. The sauces are so runny as if the owner want economise by adding water to all the sauces even sweet chilli sauce. Tonight’s dinner will be my last from this restaurant. What a shame ☹️

I ordered a thai yesterday evening, the initial delivery estimate was 20:20-20:30, but we called the restaurant past this time at about 21:10 and the gentleman had let us know the food had been waiting for a just eat driver to pick it up for almost half an hour. The man was nice and gave us 2 extra rices as the others would have been cold. The got the food about 21:30, it was nice but we had to heat it up a little in the microwave.

Very quick . piping hot and delicious.

The food was lovely but we received it dripping in red curry sauce which had leaked everywhere and made a mess. The containers need to be better sealed as this made the whole experience disappointing. The summer rolls stuck to the inside of the container and became deconstructed rolls (not what I was after).

Really unappetising. Watery sauce which had spilled by the time it arrived. Significantly more vegetables than meat. Virtually no meat in the pad Thai. Coconut rice didn’t taste much like coconut. Really disappointing.

Fast, fresh, tasty. Authentic Thai food, more than just the typical basics. Very friendly and well respected 🙂

Poor quality cold food with items missing.

First time we've eaten here since Covid restrictions, but everything was organised well with tables spaced out and a one-way system in place. Food was delicious as ever - I enjoyed the vegetable tempura and Thai green curry with tofu. My carnivore partner raved about the beef rendang, though he admitted that it was the amazing sauce that made it so tasty and he might try a veggie version next time.

The drunken noodles were tasty, but they were slightly under cooked, and they didn't delivered the sauce with the Thai crackers

The service is always friendly and helpful. Even with the current health requirements the team at O’s manage timekeeping you feel welcome. The food has always been good and remains so.

Pensé que lo probaría una vez más.Acabo de comer comida para llevar y el curry estaba picante pero sin sabor. O's is a neighbourhood gem which had got even better with the addition of some great new dishes on the blackboard menu. We always start with the mixed starters, and as ever, the didn't disappoint. Ditto the green curry and pad thai — but it was a new chicken and seafood noodle dish, in a delicately spiced sauce which was an absolute stand-out. The service was spot-on, as it always is. O's provides beautifully spiced, authentic Thai food — with as much heat (or not) to suit any palate — at prices that won't break the bank. A definite recommend

My family have been going to O’s Thai since the 90s and it’s been consistently excellent. I went for my birthday meal this year (they have an excellent set lunch menu) and was as impressed with the quality of the food and service as always. O’s is a Crouch End staple - my family are among a big group of regulars - so I would definitely recommend it.

In all honesty, a poor quality of food. We ordered a selection of spicy plates with rice but was appalled by what was put in front of us. Presentation was non-existence and salad was just shredded carrots and cabbage...

Visitamos un sábado por la noche, así que el lugar estaba lleno. El personal era muy amable, pero la comida era terrible y tuvimos que esperar casi una hora para nuestra comida. Mi compañero pidió un pollo al curry Massaman (que dijo que era el peor que había probado) y tuve un Pad Thai con cuajada de frijoles fritos, una vez más, el peor Pad Thai que he probado. Ambos platos son comidas tailandesas bastante estándar, y no puedo entender cómo podrían estropearlos tanto. El tofu en mi Pad Thai, por ejemplo, sabía a aceite de cocina viejo que necesitaba ser cambiado, y el resto del plato solo sabía a azúcar. De hecho, había un pequeño montón de azúcar a un lado de mi plato, ¿para qué? ¿Seguramente es tradicional servir limón al lado? En cuanto al tiempo de espera, entiendo que los sábados siempre están ocupados, pero aún así lograron que sus pedidos de comida para llevar se envíen a tiempo. Perdí la cuenta de la cantidad de veces que el mensajero vino a recoger. El lugar también era muy ruidoso. ¿Mi consejo? Gaste el dinero que tanto le costó ganar en otro lugar. Crouch End se asocia con buenos lugares para comer.
