Orleto Lounge in Basildon

I take my 20 year old Bichon Frise most days for breakfast where Siddyboy is treated like a king, the staff bend over backwards to make you and/or your fur babies very welcome. Adore the place and staff, a big thank you to everyone

Amazing brunch on Saturday. The Mrs and i both had the Miami brunch which was amazing and the little one had eggs on toast. The coffee is to die for and the service was great as usual.

First time visiting here and thought we would make this our dinner date before we went to the cinema, food was easy to order on the app and arrived in decent time the chap serving (didn't get his name) was very friendly and helpful he was wearing a nice summer shirt :) , food was really nice maybe do agree with some comments about the size of portions mainly the chips but to be honest was about right once had finished the meal.

Orleto Lounge is a great place to go to relax after work or for an evening out. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a good range selection of food and drinks. The Lounge has two great outdoor seating areas. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious but portion sizes were really small for the price paid. We had the chilli beef which came out with a small side bowl of rice which was literally just a couple of mouth fulls and the fried egg on the nazi goreng was overcooked so the yolk didn't go over the rice like supposed to. Such a shame as the flavour of the dishes was excellent, just portion sizes coming out exactly like the lids portions was disappointing. Eating out really is a treat for us so really felt let down by this so didn't stay for desserts as didn't want to waste any more money .

Absolutly banging food... lovely to eat and relax.... had the cowboy smash burger with the loaded cheesy chips and was cooked to perfection... Thank you to chefs matt and reed for the food... and Rosh for making sure everything is nice and willing to go the extra mile

Really disappointing evening as the food was poor quality. I had the Kyiv burger that was greasy and soggy, bacon was fatty and greasy and the sweet potato fries lukewarm. My wife had three tapas dishes they were tiny portions (And not cheap), lacked flavour and taste…really not good! . The restaurant totally lacked any atmosphere and the staff didn’t ask if we enjoyed our food or if everything was okay. It’s a restaurant we will not be returning to!

I have been going to ORLETO since it opened,but the last few times going for coffee with my sister in the mornings the place needs a good clean the tables often have crumbs and look like not been cleaned.One of the tables we like to sit at had a shelf under it and for at least 3 times we sat there was a piece of bread on it and we only go in ORLETO every other week,its such a shame to see places that need dusting have not been done for weeks.Also the service can be not that could at times but most of the staff are lovely

Had a great afternoon, popped in for lunch with my mum. Food and cocktails was amazing and staff so welcoming and accommodating will definitely be back soon! Well done guys! Thank you to the whole team! And especially Joanna for the best cocktails and friendly service !

Great space and fun looking quirky decor. Menu is varied and interesting. However, I chose the Bang Bang cauliflower, with noodles and vegetables. Didn’t have any “Bang” to it really, nothing like Wagamama, a bit sloppy, cauliflower had no zing and slightly overcooked. Come on chefs! Up your talents on this! Where’s the wow!?? Had flat bread garlic bread too….this was bland too, not sure if it had any garlic in it! Looked nice. Will give this restaurant another chance one day. Burgers looked great. Staff were lovely.

It was our first time eating here and we were very impressed! The food was delicious, we ordered via the app which was simple and quick. The whole place had a cosy, welcoming feel. The kids menu was fantastic and the meal was a decent size, my daughter loved the fish fingers. Me and my mum had tapas and all of it was lovely and reasonably priced. My only critique would be that you sat yourself and this led to lots of couples going on tables with four seats leaving less room for bigger groups. We will definitely be back!

Tanner, Sarah and StevO always offer a great service. This time impressed me much (a la Shania twain) I got my large drink very quickly. Very fast and resposnve and did not have to wait. SERVICE WITH A SMILE. VERY CHEERFUL.

We had a great evening last night for New Year. The service was super, the evening was very much suited to families and the little touches such as prize giving etc were great. We loved it, well done to the entire team

Order was wrong, food was cold and uninspiring, expensive for small portions, won't be returning. Really was expecting better as its got a pleasant interior.

Every time I visit Orleto compared to some of the other lounges I have been in myself and my family are always treated so warm and welcoming.

Staff friendly and atmosphere good. I had the Phillt cheese ciabatta. It was a disappointment, it came out cold. The filling was over 70% of the bottom part of the bun. Looked OK, but not as delicious as I thought it would look, as if they ran out of fillings. Cheese was missing The pulled beef tasted nice The top part of the ciabatta was just placed to the side, just toasted that's it. It was like it was an afterthought. The fries were really nice so was the garlic mayo. The manager recommended the Elderflower drink and said it wasnt as sweet as pink lemonade, but it was far too sweet. Hate to think how sweet the pink lemonade is then!!

The food was spot on service amazing, I have just txt my son we will be going in the week I will be back

Fantastic restaurant! Friendly, polite staff and good food! The whole place had a lovely vibe and we felt very comfortable. Will definitely be going again!

Family party for a 40th birthday. 35 seats including 4 children + baby. All served in a timely manner. Staff could not do enough for us. The ONLY PROBLEM is there are no toilets on the upper floor so if you are disabled then you fail getting up and down the multitude of stairs.

Lovely place very unique but my fishfinger sandwich was pathetic. Cheapest bread they could find. Tasted OK but no salad no decor just 3 fisfingers in two slices of stale bread.

Our group of six ordered no problem. Everything was correct but unfortunately all the glassware was dirty, perhaps they need some salt in the dishwasher! The crockery the food was on wasn't any better but also included chips and cracks exposing the porous porcelain a gem of a place for bacteria. I was the only member who ordered a dessert of chocolate sundae but it had hair in it. I was given an immediate refund at the bar. The flat white coffee was amazing I really loved that. Also air conditioning in this heat was lovely. I'm not sure if it's the food or the late night but a couple of us aren't feeling that great today. Note we who are unwell didn't drink any alcohol. Sorry Orletos Lounge it's a no from me and I was so excited with the interesting menus :-(

My first time trying this bar/cafe and it’s amazing. I came with my bf who has been here before and I had the vegan blt with fries and my bf had the Korean burger with fries and both our meals were delicious and we full up afterwards. Definitely recommend if you in the area Solid 5/5

A newish restaurant, very nicely decorated, with surprisingly wide menu and some draft beers. The mains: Nasi Goreng (£12.75) and Biryani Bowl (£10.95) were both very good; however, they were the smallest ‘mains’ that I’ve probably ever had –almost 13 quid and still hungry! I’ve had bigger starters in other establishments. (The Goreng contained the tinniest piece of chicken). Surely a more generous portion, even if just noodles and rice, would not cost the company very much. Even the portion of chips was small. The Fish Finger sandwich was lukewarm. The staff NEVER asked my party if we were happy with our food (I guess you did not want to know). If you serve poor value food (or lukewarm food) in Basildon, no matter how good it is, you will go bust! My party will never eat in Orleto again, yet it could have been great.

3 Coffees cost over £10 and weren't even proper Coffee. It came from a packet. Disgusting and left a horrible after taste. Especially after paying that price.

Found this lovely restaurant. Great selection of food, reasonably priced, great location being amongst the shops and short walk from Gloucester Park. Great service and friendly staff. Even my dog was made to feel special with bowl of water and plate of dog biscuits too....

Best breakfast in Basildon. Not the cheapest but the food was all top quality, hot and delicious. we will be going back very soon.

We went to the opening of Orleto. Brilliant. Service - food and decor were amazing. A restaurant that suits people popping in with kids/dogs during the day moving through to a lovely evening venue.
