My main gripe is with the food. So it was Eid and we came as a family booking for 15 people, arriving at the restaurant at 6:30 PM on Sunday 16th June 2024. The food quality was very poor, the food was not hot and the 4 tandoori mixed grills we ordered, were not even served on any sizzling trays, the kebabs that were part of the mixed grills were burned, the grills themselves were only warm to the touch and I suspect these were microwaved and prepared earlier, who knows, maybe left overs from another order that a customer did not pick up. We also ordered 6 jugs of mango lassie drinks and these were just diluted down with water, and did not have the natural taste of a mang lassie we were expecting. I understand the bill came to over £500 but in hindsight, a complete waste of money. I do NOT recommend this place if you want to have a decent meal with your family and friends - go ELSEWHERE.

This place used to be a reliable cheap eaterie, not anymore. Prices have gone up unfortunately the offering has got worse. This is possibly the worst "Pakistani" food I have had this year. Would be surprised if they have an acceptable Food Hygiene Score. The management definitely need to redo the kitchen, it's not the best Not recommended.

We as a family have been coming here for the past ten years, and we can never find fault with the food usually. It has recently been refurbished which is nice, thereby creating additional seating space. We have come back here after several months and we were shocked by how much they have increased their prices. A meal for 5 (two adults and three kids) that previously woud cost approx £60 yesterday cost an eye watering £93 ! Prices have been increased as if it were a fancy London restaurant which it is not. £4 for a single kulfi. £4 for a two piece gulab jamoon (thats £2 per piece). £3 for a single garlic naan. £7.50 for a tarka daal ! and £8 for a ladies finger Karahi. Mix grill for 2-3 people £29.50 ! They have also reduced the size of their seekh kebabs and now give you cheaper chicken seekh kebabs in the mixed grill (as well as lamb) which they never used to before. While I do understand that energy costs and the price of food stuffs have gone up recently, these price hikes are not sustainable, which probably explains why on a Saturday evening at 20:00 there were only a small amount of customers. If you hike up your prices so much for a clientele who are used to paying "reasonable" prices you will lose customers to the detriment of trying to increase your profits to cover your costs, to a degree. Needless to say, we shall not be visiting again any time soon. Oh by the way, our meal did not even include desert for all five of us and neither did any of order any soft drinks. If we had, the bill would have probably been circa £120-£125. Thanks but no thanks, we shall find a cheaper pakistani restaurant within the surrounding areas of which there are several. Sad really as we loved their grills

Delivery took from 4.48 to 7 pm. Only ordered3 dishes. I am only about a 12 minute drive. They don’t work with deliveroo or uber eats anymore. They charge £5 to deliver and then it takes forever. Won’t bother in future. This was our Friday night takeaway, for years. Good food but not worth the wait.

Eeerm. Just paid £30 for two curries with a nice layer of oil floating on the top. The masala was more like water, with a layer of fat and it wasn’t even tikka. Two naan breads that are stale and some dodgy looking mint yoghurt... Definitely not worth the money.

Have eaten at the restaurant many times in the past.... but now We ordered take away. Came to pick it up and was shocked by the way it is being prepared. They are very busy and everything is hurried. The owner was taking phone calls, taking money and returning change from his pocket and at the same time handling the food with his bare hands. Most shocking was that he used his hands to pick up lettuce for the salad. The whole place is very not hygienic, and a lot of the cooking happens in the back and is placed in large dirty pots to be distributed to the take away. The next day a few of my party were sick. The staff is very nice. The prices are reasonable. Unfortunately the food spicing tastes almost all the same without the Pakistani food distinction we know. It used to be the best Pakistani food around but it’s not the case. Won’t order again.

Having been to Lahore Kebab House in Whitechapel last week..both my husband and I were delighted to have finally found the best seekh kebabs we have ever tried in London to date! Coming from Delhi & Mumbai we have craved an authentic tasty seekh kebab and here it was...!! After searching online for another branch, we found one in Hendon and were over the moon so went to try it this evening and were really looking forward to this. Much to our disappointment the service was so cold and abrupt upon entering...we placed our order for starters..of course the seekh kebabs some roti and I wanted a juice and the guy service just came and literally banged a jug of water on our table and said there was no juice..my husband asked if I’d like something else and the server just said you can have the water!! I picked the menu up and he said impatiently I’ll come back when you are ready...to which I replied i’ll have a Diet Coke actually! He brought it and just again banged it on the table randomly and just wasn’t courteous in his ways. We wanted to know what the difference between a Lahore roti and the standard roti was and without even looking at us and with a very disinterested shrug he said it’s folded differently...to be honest we just felt so miffed with his attitude and ‘I don’t care a damn’ attitude that we both looked at each other and were quite horrified about how he spoke from the beginning we thought..actually we wouldn’t want to eat here..not now and not ever again. So we got up and my husband went to pay for what we had ordered and to inform them that we wouldn’t want to stay there. They didn’t take the money for the Diet Coke which had been served to me.

Another rude response that I would be given £3 back. £3.25 was what I paid. Couldn't really work out how or when the refund would be made as the phone was rudely put down again. I'll wait to see. Haven't been here for a few years but had another enjoyable evening. Food here is good generally speaking; my friends ordered korma which they enjoyed but I didn't like at all. The other dishes were fine. Service lacked attention and any sign of friendliness. We had reserved but I wasn't sure they had reserved a table. The waiter pulled a table away from the next but left the chairs all skew; when we placed the order he was hardly paying attention so not surprisingly we got chicken instead of lamb tikka. Food came rapidly which was good as we were hungry. This a good place for a friends / family evening out, you will eat well and it's good value. Not posh or special occasions. Bring your own drinks or rather enjoy a salty or mango lassi with the food. Has both a good range of vegetarian as well as meat dishes.

In visiting friends in the area, we asked them to take us for some good "Indian" food. Now, obviously Lahore is not Indian, but Pakistani. Like any good food from this neck of the world, the aroma gets your mouth watering. It is a very busy restaurant with food coming and going! You can go to the corner store right next door and buy beer or wine to take in without having to pay a corkage fee. As for the food...well, there is not a bad thing on the menu and we didn't have a favorite (but the paneer and lamb were excellent!) Also, be careful not to order too much. Its really easy here when your eyes and tastebuds start to pander when you walk in. If you are with a group of people sharing is a requirement, not an option! On a side note....you probably want to eat here last if you are going out for the evening because you will carry the smell of your food and the restaurant where ever you go! When we got home from our trip a week later, the clothes we had worn still had the aroma - hence why I say we were "Lahore'd" Happy eating!

We just walked outside the door and came back straight away withing even a minute! Waiter, who took the money from the table started to deny and idiotically look for the phone under our table. While the rest of the staff tried to convince there was nothing left. Meanwhile I start calling my husband (they wouldn't manage to switch it off so quickly without passcode) and GUESS WHAT?!?! The phone start ringing right beside their till. First, they pretend to be shocked and when my husband went and took his phone they started to recollect that oh they forgot they took it just damn minute ago!!! It has always been fresh and delicious.I would particularly recommend the lamb chops, chicken tikka masala and the king prawn biriyani. One of the great things about this restaurant is that they also deliver really quickly within the locality.I went there with a few friends last week for dinner. As it was ramadan and we were there to break our fast and they provided dates, rose drink etc without any promoting. I thought that was a lovely and unexpected touch. Its a great local restaurant that delivers on quality, service and price. You can go there as a group but it is probably better to let them know early as it is not a massive restaurant.Plenty of parking available on brent st, bromton grove or on bell lane.

What can I say, having ordered via hungry house, I mistakenly selected original Lahore kebab house thinking it was the one in Kingsbury, but I am so glad I did. This Hendon restaurant will have your taste buds singing. The service was excellent, food was delicious, my lamb biryani was tender full of flavour and just the right amount of chilli. A little side of dhall(lentils) would have not gone amiss. The butter chicken has to be one of the nicest I have eaten. The roti was not as soft as I would have liked but it complemented the rich gravy of the butter chicken. The Kheer was very rich and tasty and left me wanting more, portion was a little small. Whilst this place is slightly pricier than other local restaurants, the quality of the produce and meat used is top notch and worth the extra pound or two. Overall a fantastic Pakistani, I am glad I discovered, the plus for me is that it's part of the famous Lahore Kebab house in Brick lane . Worst Customer Service.I placed and order at Lahore Hendon at 9.32pm 20/02/16, Whilst on the phone I asked the person taking my order to repeat my postcode as the last time I ordered they completely got it WRONG.I called back at 10.20pm asking where the order had reached- all I got was in other words we are busy on a Friday night and it takes one hour to deliver food.I called at 10.40pm and spoke to the same person (Rahat) taking my order and he was baffled , speechless and told me they are trying to improve their delivery service."Sorry is not a word I can even say to you" he then said I won't even ask you to pay me for the meal but the driver is still on the way. Around 11.00pm The management Mr Ejaz called me and tried to tell me they put their customers first and the delivery takes a longer time as their restaurant is not like a "chipy" they take time to get us "hot" food and quality food.{My brother and father waiting for their dinner (dad being diabetic) still waiting..}The management told me as he was on the phone he was tracking the driver on a high tech system and that the driver would be at my doorstep in 7 minutes- after still explaining to him this is not how to treat a very regular paying customer and him offering me a complimentary meal "on this occasion" which is still not acceptable... 7 minutes later still no driver! My brother taking over this ridiculous situation of "ordering a takeout" spent more time taking to "management" with a response "Mate your food is on the way" I mean coming form management you never call a customer mate! - Being as disappointed as you can imagine 11.25pm we call back Lahore and our order had been CANCELLED by MANAGEMENT. Due to the fact me and my family as paying customers were "Rude" to management.Speaking to the person at Hendon Lahore- he gave the phone to yet another person who had to explain that management refused our Order because we where rude (and also apparently when the delivery guy turned up to our house with the "take away- the management called him up and told him not to deliver to us as we were rude to him!!!This type of service is quite disappointing, disgusting and ridiculous. How can a "well established restaurant" treat paying customers like this? We are quite regular customers but after this treatment on this occasion a review was highly necessary.Extremely disappointed. This has now been passed to local papers!!!

I remember when this place was a small cafe style Indian, tucked away off Commercial Road! What a cracker of a business now! But easy to understand. Good food, generally, quick and reasonable. Onion bhaji the best in London and so are the kebab and tikkha starters. Curries are a bit light on the meat and fish but very tasty, as are the cooked to order breads. RASMALI NOT AS GOOD AS Ruby's used to be. All East London same nowadays. Well worth a visit.

I walked in off the street looked at the menu and asked the man at the counter which one he recommended, he just said "chicken curry" which wasnt even on the menu. On the menu was all exotic sounding names like but he just said that, he couldnt care less. Rice was dry and curry was just thrown together at the back like previous reviewer wrote. Also mushroom rice was just white rice with a few mushrooms put on the top, not proper mushroom rice at all. Really poor curry, i dont know how it survives with other curry houses nearby, even the naan was soggy and not packed in a foil envelope so was cold as well as under cooked, will not be going back I feel sick this morning 9 hours later and paid £13 for it! thanks Lahore

This is the place to go for proper, authentic kebabs that are made with real, marinated meats and freshly baked pita breads. They even bake each pita bread in the special oven furnace in front of you while you wait. Don't forget to order some onion bhajia on the side - they are excellent!

Oh come on guys really.... the only good thing theses guys do is the kebab roll, and the lamb chops. The rest is all in my opinion pre cooked food re heated from next door see for your self. I personally won't eat in there but hey each to their own.

Lahore Kebab House does what it needs to do, and does it simply and well. The curries are well cooked, the kebabs tasty. The food comes quickly, is hot and enjoyable.Often worth just taking away and eating at home, as there is no real atmosphere, and it is a BYOB. As others have said, water bottles are on the table - but are not free, so open at your own cost!

The food is outstanding and the price more than fair - £7-£8 per main curry course and healthy portions. Two could eat for less than £20 with fair portions. Try the Nan bread and the chutneys. It's reasonably close (walking distance) from the City and the bus/tube from Central London. No alcohol is sold on the premises but the management allow you to bring your own. There is an off-licence next door with a fair stock of wines and beers. This is place to just enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Food was ok, small portions and price for the 'state' of the place. I'm quite a regular to the whitechapel branch so know the menu and taste well. I still have concerns about the hygiene, bearing in mind this place was fined for cockroaches by environmental health I'm still a little concerned about eating here.

Well well for Pakistani traditional food, it was quite tasty, although my lamb shish was over cooked, we enjoyed the food, for a Friday was quite busy, only thing service was bit slow, and the waiters were not giving us no smiles, but the food was ok.

There are several places in London serving kebabs but this one would be on my list among the top ten. The service is very quick and the food is fresh. The taste is not 100% authentic but would come quite close . If you are looking for a quick meal and are not very picky on the decode, it is a good place to try.

We grab a takeaway some Friday lunch time... Love the lamb kebab and chicken kebab with naan and salad with Mint and chilli sauce. Good price and fills you up but not in a bad way. Would recommend.

Had dinner here in June - the food is traditional Pakistani Punjab- but be careful about letting the waiters tempt you for the specials; these are more expensive than the usual mains and are nothing special (well, not the chicken on the bone that we had when we went). Also be careful about the bottles of water that are placed immediately on your table - these are bound to be opened and are chargeable - unless you really are allergic to tap water, I would ensure the bottles are removed and a jug of water is brought to the table. Although I did ask for tap water, as I suspected would happen, the bottle was opened before this arrived.Portions seem to be on the smaller size compared to a number of other Pakistani restaurants we have tried. Naan was very average.Wash rooms are best avoided. No real reason to eat here again- so we won't !

Good curries but they murder the grilled meat leaving little more than a dry charcoal like substance. Would give 4.5 stars if they could grill like my local Turkish!

Fantastic food, superb service, clean restaurant. The waiters are polite and the service is fast. Tables are generally always available and I put this down to the efficient serving rather than lack of demand. Chops to die for, kebabs are lean and tasty, curries are authentic. They are always open to providing a milder tasting option for kids. A lovely family meal. Repeat visits have been consistent in taste and service

We had been told that Lahore was a good Indian restaurant. We love a curry so gave it a try. When ordering the food we specifically asked the waiter that the food not be oily. The medication I'm on has a bad reaction to too much oil.The food arrived, all of it with a thick covering of oil. We sent the fish back as it was swimming in oil and they just transferred the same fish to a new plate. The tv was blaring with football and we were subjected to this noise throughout our meal. It's sad to say but I really can't think of anything good to report on Lahore Restaurant in Hendon. Waiters were useless, chef was useless atmosphere was depressing.

This is authentic Indian/Pakistani food. We had an excellent meal with very good service despite the restaurant being very busy and our party of 4 arriving without reservations. The chops, tarka daal and baby lamb were very good and the nihari the best I have had outside Karachi. This is as the dishes should be with the right amount of spices. Do not miss the kulfi, quite delicious.

Been here umpteen times. The food is typical Pakistani - spicy and greasy (although I always request them to remove the oil). The lamp chops and seekh kebabs are excellent. The chicken dishes are not that great and the gravy dishes are also so so. Stick to the grilled items and daal and you should be fine. The lamb and chicken keema are also worth it.Service and atmosphere is average, but the BYOB policy makes up for it.Decent value, but not worth the trek.

The sister restaurants to this branch are in East London and in Southhall, but this is just as good. The meat and vegetable dishes are superb, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a reasonably priced meal.

Hemos comido y conseguido un montón de comida para llevar de veces. La comida es excelente y muy bien condimentadas. Su chili paneer sigue siendo inmejorable.

Ordered delivery, portions were minuscule. A starter/portion of veg samosas=2 mini ones! Had to give my portion to my daughter to make it a decent portion for her. Prawn puree wrap was dry. Spicy popadoms had a weird after taste.Very disappointing as the dine in restaurant in whetstone had amazing food!
