Delivered 10 minutes early by a polite delivery man via Just Eat. Nice and hot Free spring rolls and prawn crackers were a bonus but I don’t like prawn crackers… The Crispy Aromatic Duck was a huge disappointment. The pancakes (I ordered extra) were too thick. The 1/4 duck was dry, insipid and lacking in size and taste. Spring onions and cucumber were well prepared… The Beef with Onions were ok and Prawns HK Style were good. The special rice disappointed I won’t use the Oriental Star again

Hemos comido comida de aquí muchas veces y siempre hemos sido buenos. Gente agradable dirige el lugar y es muy amable. No estoy seguro de cuál fue el comentario acerca de las galletas saladas viejas a menos que fuera escrito por un competidor, ya que siempre están frescas y calientes cuando recibimos nuestra entrega. ¡Recomendaría!

Yo como aquí todo el tiempo y la comida siempre es increíble, definitivamente el lugar que recomiendo si alguien quiere chino.

You can tell it's under new management because the food was late only to be awful. So bland and tasteless.

They increased the delivery time to an hour and a half. Called to check and was told it was a mistake and would be with us soon. An hour and a half later... food arrives . The food was tasty but was cold.

Pad Thai was awful. Honey Roast Pork was dry pork in watered down golden syrup.

Food was 15 minutes late and couldn’t get through to the restaurant. JustEat app was messing around so frustrating. Delivery driver was apologetic for lateness, food was okay but my drink and my prawn crackers were left off the order. I spoke to the restaurant and lady said she would call me back but she didn’t and that was three days ago

Between my wife and I, I liked the food more. Her chicken dish (ginger & spring onion) could have been more flavoursome and had more spring onion; my chicken dish (sweet & sour) was very red in colour but tasty. Enjoyed the egg fried rice. Mini spring rolls were definitely fried.

Ordered food for a friend. He said it was horrible. Chicken had no flavour and the rice tasted like it was a day old. Not pleased

ordered yesterday evening. food was hot, delicious and on time. the delivery driver really made the difference though - he was so polite and courteous and really delivered 'service with a smile' even when struggling to find our house. please thank him for being such a pleasure to deal with!

Generally okay, but the sweet and sour king prawns were the worst I've ever eaten. Overcooked, doughy and not properly peeled.

It was great value for money! Quality was good, delicious. Order came earlier than expected and it was huge, much more than we could eat. Would definiteltly order again!

Delicious food and hot. The chinese style duck was lovely. It arrived earlier than expected and the driver was so friendly and nice!

I asked for no onions or beansprouts but they decided to put them in anyway, the Duck was cremated the spring onions and cucumber were dry. The chicken balls were really doughy and the hoisin sauce was watery. Not a good experience.

Love the food from this place. They've got a huge menu and everything tastes fresh and flavoursome. The staff are also really friendly, and on this occasion they delivered 20 minutes early. Top marks all round. We've tried a lot of local Chinese places - most have been disappointing, but this one is great.

Please add all of your food alergy info! If you just put a little (gf) for gluten free, (df) for dairy free, (ve) for vegan, (v) for vegetarian, it would be SO helpful. So many people have food intolerances now, you need to move with the times. The food was great though! Thank you.

Order arrived later than stated. . It took almost 2 hours to arrive. The delivery man was busy on a call when he arrived and did not apologise for being late. Food was average and not worth the wait. Not going to order from them again.

We've been ordering deliveries from them for several years. No complaints, we get what we pay for.. But recently there was a slight change in menu; shame they changed the sauce on the roast duck on rice. We prefer the oyster sauce to bbq sause..

Food was good. Delivery took long even though it's a 5 - 7 mins walk from my house. They added 10 mins to the delivery time twice now. Staff were polite and friendly but I wasn't allowed to modify my order even though they added 10 mins to the delivery time. Also they don't take card payments in the shop but they accepted orders from justeat. Overall staff were friendly and food was good. Just room for improvement

Noodles were bland and dry. Dimsum was undercooked. I asked for chopsticks, but I didn't get any. But everything was packaged very well and delivery was very speedy.

The chicken they are using in their chicken curry is very poor quality and I suspect is not chicken at all but rather some sort of substitute. The chicken was soggy and tasteless and the texture was not like normal chicken at all. The other food was ok. But I won't be buying from here again.

Food was quite nice but there delivery time was very poor. They need more drivers who are more polite. The compensation was a few cans of full fat pepsi and prawn crackers, which didn't really meet our expectations.

The rice was so bland.. the chicken curry was vile the sauce was way to thick!! 6 pancakes with a quarter duck was a joke half the duck left over & not enough pancakes!

Found is always great but please bring back the old way you made prawn crackers. They used to be so thick and tasty but the last few times, they have been really thin and greasy. Old ones we by far better

Normally really good. Today they were an hour and 10 minutes late. Bone in the duck so small I couldn't get all out so all pancake wraps ended up having some bone in. Hopefully this won't happen again?

Took over 2 hours for the delivery to arrive from order. Arrived 40 mins after the scheduled delivery time. Not happy!

The food took an hour and a half to arrive, the delivery time stated was originally 40 minutes. When I rang the restaurant after an hour I was told they were only cooking it now. Delivery driver was nice. Food was hot and quality was fine when it arrived.

Honestly have tried 4 Chinese takeaways in the area and this was the best one! All food tasted good and portions were generous and cooked well! Would definitely recommend.

Was all amazing except the Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef was more crispy shredded sweet and sour than spicy and beefy! Bit of a shame, but was all otherwise fantastic!

Ordered special fried rice and sweet & sour chicken Hong Kong style. The rice was very bland and tasted like it has no seasoning or flavour. The sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style tasted like it was left overs - the batter on the chicken was soft with no crunchiness to it. Very disappointed and not sure if I would order from this place again

Really nice food, took a little bit longer to arrive than we'd have liked; but it is Friday night. The pork and chicken spring roll was absolutely delicious - try it! I'd recommend and we'll definitely have it again.

Restaurant needs to pass on specific instructions to delivery drivers - had to work really hard to convince the driver on the phone that I knew where I lived and he wasn't there. Chicken and veg sauce half emptied into carrier bag, wasn't fun to try and salvage. But fast delivery and really tasty!

Quick delivery, really nice food and good value for money

Our meal was delivered quickly and came piping hot. It tasted fresh and full of flavour. We've had many, many Chinese takeaways over the years but this was easily one of the best. We'll be returning time and time again!

Food is horrible. Tastes old. There is always more onions then meat itself. They always give old prawn crackers which is stacked underneath the counter. Warm pepsi. Just horrible. I have stopped going their. Not worth the money.
