Never had an average meal from here, the food is the best around and the staff in there are really nice.

Very good food and freindly staff. Well worth the 15 minute drive to collect as it is miles better than any Chinese takeaways nearby.

Delicious takeaway. I ordered chicken in black bean sauce with ho fun noodles, prawn in black bean sauce also with ho fun noodles and the flavours were all there. The portions are big and it’s the nicest in the area.

Food is amazing. Customer service is great. Best Chinese around! Everything is always fresh and hot when it arrives.

AWFUL - Food arrived cold - AVOID First time customer as reviews said this place was good, how wrong they were. Phone was engaged for while then got through and put on hold for five mins as customers in shop take priority. When food arrived EVERY single dish was lukewarm to cold, thanks. £40 for this shambles! You should be ashamed of yourselves. So yes dont believe the positive reviews that was quite possibly the WORST Chinese takeaway ive had in 48 years on this planet. Absolutely WOEFUL.

First time trying and I can’t rave about this enough. 10/10, the chips were absolutely amazing as well as sauces. Everything was fresh, tasty and full of flavour. This is my new local!

I live next door to this place and I'm so happy I do as they are the best Chinese iv had for a long time. Such friendly and kind staff too. Highly recommended.

Had takeout from here this evening and it was just awful. The prawns were hard and undercooked, the chicken satay was pink rather than white under the greasy cold veneer described as a coating, the spare ribs were 60% gristle and the chips were made from some of the worst blackened potatoes I've seen in a long time. It was literally disgusting and we ended up throwing away the special fried rice, chow mein and chop suey because we were put off Chinese food. One of the worst takeouts that I've had for some time. Will never order from here again.

Difficult to rate takeaways as everyone has preferences on how they expect a dish to look and taste. Having tried other Chinese takeaways from time to time, we always come back to Oriental. The kitchen is open so you can see all the food being freshly cooked. It's run by a lovely family and the food is great, with Special dishes sometimes added to the menu (although you may need to ask if you telephone order as these are only normally taped to the desk in the shop). Easy to telephone order and get free delivery (over £14 spend) without paying the rip off fees on Uber Eats, Deliveroo or Just Eat. Definitely recommend!!

Appalling. Just spent £30 on food to throw it in the bin. Bland food. Chicken Hong Kong was tasteless, shredded beef - bland. Awful. I’m now doing bacon and eggs as we literally threw all of it in the bin.

Place closed.Drove 15 minutes and faced with a locked door on Tuesday 7.30pm. Time wasting, misleading opening times on Google maps.

If you want great food,but like me have an allergy,this is the place to order your takeaway,they are very strict on knowing what you can & can't have,never have i been treated so seriously,excellent

I ordered two chow meins, salt& pepper chicken and sweet & sour king prwan in cantonese style. It's my first time ordered in this place. I'm disappointed, a big times, the chow mein is wet and a little undercooked. The worst bit is the prawn and the chicken. I was shocked when I see the prawns, it's priced for £6.10. The batter of the king prawn is dry and way too thick, there is bearly any sweet and sour on it, half of the prawn and veg is dry. The prawn shouldn't be named as "king prawn" on the menu. It is tiny after you remove it of the batter, I just can't eat the batter. The chicken is served overload spring onion and garlic. It's too dry.

Just had a Chinese delivered from here - thoroughly enjoyed it. Being vegetarian I always rate the seaweed as a good judge - perfect, sweet and not salty. Additional dishes exceptional too. Definitely be taking my custom back. Thank you.
