O'Reilly's bar in Lisburn

Very disappointed. Poor service and inappropriate comments from waitress! Traditional food was tasteless and undercooked however thai food was tasty!

Lovely calm setting restaurant beautiful relaxing then the food came out first class well presented wholesome food we had a bottle house wine with our meal and settled down in their sofas after our deserts have to say felt like you were in your own living room. Will definitely be back

Quaint homely pub , warm and welcoming. Service first class ...great menu choices . Well worth a visit.

Had a terrible experience in the Thai restaurant. Took us over an hour to get our starters, a further 2 hours before our main courses arrived. And when the main courses did finally arrive, mine was stone cold in the middle. I sent it back and it came back nuclear hot in the middle, so had obviously been bunged in the microwave. The service was so terrible they offered us free drinks, which they then added to our bill and tried to charge us for. Went in for dinner at 6pm and finally left at 11pm...5 hours in total for 2 courses. Returned once since to give them another chance, had a burger in the bar. It was on par with something you'd get in McDonald's, but it was about 100x the price. The food is around the same as Belfast city centre prices, but the standard of the food and the service aren't anywhere near as good as you'd get in the city.

Called in last Sunday24th with the family and it was excellent.!! It was very busy but we got seated very quickly up beside the fire it was so cosy and homely. We ordered of the Sunday lunch menu and the food didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent, the girls working were so welcoming and friendly making sure we had everything we needed from drinks to sauces.... it’s hard to find good food and good staff under the one roof but O’reillys have both.... definitely be back.!

We rang on spec to see if the restaurant does phone in takeaway food and to our delight found they do.

Ate here about 3 months ago and the food was great but this evening it was very poor. Fish was mushy and full of water (obviously frozen), scampi was like rubber and kids meals where very basic. Not the cheapest either. A pity as the staff are great and the food was good. Change of chef??? Not sure but won’t be back. Hard earned cash wasted on cheap ingredients badly cooked.

Had starters from the new Thai menu and the steak deal. Meal was absolutely beautiful and very quick service. The staff were very helpful and so friendly. For a wonderful meal in lovely surroundings at a very reasonable price, O'Reilly's is definitely worth a visit.

Went for the steak deal for two and super food. Great drinks and service all at a great price. Will be back.

Called in on a Friday evening for a bite to eat after a hard week, food was excellent, service was excellent. Spoke to Lynn and Brian who were happy to answer any questions and share their passion of Thai food, also serves European food that also looks well presented. We normally go to Belfast for Thai food but I have to say it's great to have Thai food locally now, no travelling.

We have been here a number of times now for their Thai food and it is excellent. If you are a lover of Thai cuisine or you want to try it I would strongly recommend Oriellys. You will not be disappointed.

Two menus Thai or European - both excellent variety and food very very good. Highly recommend a visit.

The Thai food was excellent! Very good flavours and quality. The owners Brian and Lynn are extremely friendly and welcoming people. We will definitely be back!

We went for dinner last night post holiday for some of us and pre holiday for the rest

Visited here tonight. We were coming from Newcastle and were passing through. We had never heard of it and spotted it but couldn’t get stopped we went on and turned and came back. We were greeted by a lovely girl called Lin from Thailand and taken through to restaurant. It is just beautiful. Our waitress was a girl from Newcastle England and she was extremely helpful as was the man. Didn’t get their names. We ordered food and I can only say it was truly amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. You really must try this place. We will do our best to go back although we live quite far from it. Thanks again to all of you. Lorraine & John

First time to visit here, and what a great experience, food was absolutely superb, and atmosphere relaxed, our waitress was Katie who was so friendly and helpful, so if you want first class food in a beautiful setting then a visit here is an absolute must. Thank you so much.

Approximately twenty years ago, due to illness, I stopped going to O'Reilly's - six miles from my home.Today I returned and I'm glad I did! The Guinness was as good as ever and I was delighted with the bar and restaurant - warm, homely and an excellent ambience. The chap who welcomed me (meet and greet) was friendly, courteous, professional and an asset to the business. I only had a pint but i intend to return soonf for

Two of us went for a meal on Friday night. The menu was extensive and we were struggling to decide between 4 or 5 dishes. In the end we both opted for the daily special which was "Beef & Bird" which consisted of a huge steak on a bed of mash, topped with butterflied chicken breast, tobacco onions & peppered sauce, as well as a side order of our choice. Every bite was delicious! We were told there was a new chef on the night and the steaks were all the way from Cork. I can't stress enough how delicious this dish was - we will definitely be back. The service was warm and friendly. The coffee machine wasn't working and there was a very noisy table beside us, but we wouldn't let that take away from the whole experience.

Just home from this fantastic bar/restaurant food was amazing staff were so friendly inviting and couldn’t have done enough for us to make it a memorable evening for my daughters birthday. Even without a special occasion really worth while a visit and a bonus great value too . Can’t wait tilll our next visit.

We arrived on Saturday at 2.50pm, we were told the chef doesn't start until 3pm, we said that was fine and sat at the bar and ordered drinks, we had three young children with us who were very hungry. At 3.10pm I asked if we could order when no one came back to us. The bar man said the chef hasn't come in yet and he would phone him. At 3.25 the barman came over to us and the other table waiting to order food to let us know the chef wouldn't be in until 4.30pm. We had no choice but to leave and went for lunch in cafe rossi in Ballynahinch which was lovely.

This is a lovely Cosy wee bar they light the fire on cold days which is great. The food here is really nice also. Love the cocktails they do also

This bar has recent been taken over, its a nice bar in the village. They offer food Wed-Sun. A good variety on offer and a relaxed place to eat. Staff very friendly, nice background music playing, big open fires. Kids meals a little pricey however. They need to update their Facebook. Great for families.

Called in for dinner with friends, bar has been recently taken over again.. Service was quick and food was lovely. My only complaint is that my 3 year old son only wanted potatoes and gravy, which was fine except for the price £4.95 (price of kids meal) they brought him out ice-cream which he didn't want, would have been better if they had just charged for the price of an extra side order.

Good Family meal with excellent service. Food was tasty and staff were all very friendly. We will be back.

Just back from a last minute family dinner out. Been meaning to check this place out for a while now and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was very good. They had a 2 courses for £12 offer on. For starters Hubby had the ribs - very tasty and the meat just fell off the bone. I had the tiger prawns - even my daughter loved them! Mains were lovely too and the service was great too . Even more pleasantly surprised by the bill. £3.50 for a glass of wine is hard to find these days when used to Belfast prices. Glad to see the place back open and wish them well for the future, great to have somewhere nice to eat on ur door step. We will deffo be back and would recommend to anyone! �

Have called in several times since opening and always find a warm welcome awaits with great food and drink served by John and his team.

Group event. Food was absolutely shocking with frozen vegetable. Kids meals were pitiful and ice cream served in plastic cups?? Won't ever be back. Save your money and head across road instead 😱

Glad to see O'Reillys open again. Ate here with the family for Sunday lunch. Good choice, not your usual standard roasts, great choice of good quality, home made pub grub. Nicely presented, good sized helpings, tasty and great value. Service friendly and good. Only complaint was it was cold, they need to get the fire lit a bit earlier!
