Classic Irish bar - but not sure it is the genuine O'Neils anymore?? - think this was the old Dickens?

Terrible waiting long time food and unfriendly staff you can't even watch football ⚽ waited food we been told 1 only wait but staff have not idea how long going to take waiting time trying watch live football they putting music so you can't here commentor. I am very disappointed

Visited o Neil's in Southend today and was completely flabbergasted by their lack of customer service, I ordered a kids meal, which included a main course, drink and desert, I ordered the drink and main meal and asked if I needed to order the desert as well at the same time and was told I could order it later, so after my boy had eaten his lunch I told him to go and tell them what he wanted for desert, they told him he had to pay as he hadn't ordered it at the same time, I went to speak to them to explain I'd paid for the kids meal and they told me that as I hadn't ordered the desert I'd need to pay again! Not only did they want me to pay again, they had charged me more just for just the main and drink than it cost to have the kids meal with the desert!!! When I said why would I have ordered them separately and paid extra, the very unhelpful waitress told me some kids don't want desert, but even if he didn't want desert it would have been cheaper to buy the desert and leave it than just buy the main and drink, they showed no common sense and were very unhelpful, I would never go there again, they need to train their staff to explain this policy and tell customers that it's cheaper to order the kids meal even if you don't want desert!

Personal amable, tratando de hacer que una noche a mediados de la semana buena con un concurso. Sin embargo la comida era buena y así también la cervezas.

Como siempre este pub ofrece buena comida en un ambiente relajado Pub es muy limpio, muy recomendado
