One Stop Takeaway in Blackpool

Don’t waste your time owner is rude and obnoxious ordered at 5.45 7.40 still not here to be told another 20 mins waited still told 10 mins shove your food won’t ever order again

Ordered 2 large fish these are the same size as normal fish from other chip shops I would say that the batter is very nice. Ordered a large chips at 2.50 these are smaller than a normal portion at other chip shops the chips tasted like they had been cooked twice and were not hot mushy peas as normal wont use again chips not good fish was nice just overpriced for what you get

Ordered pizzas with chips waited 50 mins live 2 streets away got order wrong was all cold rang to complain was told couldn't be cold we live 5 mins away ? £17 LIGHTER will be the last takeaway from here

I drive past this place every day on my way to work - in the area for a few months. Tried it tonight and brilliant haddock and chips. No fat anywhere, really tasty and the chippy has a 5 start health rating. Really nice and would recommend to anyone.

After placing my order I waited 1 hour 10 minutes before ringing to ask where it was. The rude girl on the phone told me the food was leaving now. I asked if there was a reason it had taken so long. The g8rl just said they were busy. I explained usually it's polite to let people know when there is a long wait for food. The girl didn't say anything and as I was talking another girl came on the phone asking what the problem was in a very rude manner. I reiterated what I had just said and all she has to say was well what do you want me to do about it. I asked for my food to be cancelled and I won't be ordering again. 10 minutes later the food arrived at the door. We explained to the delivery driver we didn't want the food. He didn't understand is very well so we paid for the food and said thank you. Our food was just about warm and looked like it had been sat there awhile. I rang back to explain and the girl proceeded to tell me she had looked on the system and it had been 1 hour and 5 minutes since i placed the order when I rang to ask where my food was and not 1 hour 30 minutes. By now I was getting extremely agitated by the way it was being dealt with. I was then placed on hold with no warning. I told the girl once I got off the phone after asking where my food was till the delivery guy turned up it had been nearly an hour and a half. I wasn't prepared to argue with her over the time when I rang to ask why my food was so cold. Really bad customer service, really bad food and I most certainly won't be ordering from here again. Disgusting.

We were coming back late one night and saw this place was still open so decided it was worth giving it a try. Anyway we were pleasantly surprised and have now been back several times! Food is delicious, we've tried the chips, pizzas and my partner has had the Donner Kebab and said it was lovely. The price is really brilliant - every time we go we are surprised by the price! Its turned into one of our go-to takeaways in the area!

We went to this takeaway for fish and chips as our usual chippy, further down Preston Old Road was closed due to a holiday. Fish and chips twice and a sausage and chips for £15. The fish was paper thin and you couldn't taste anything other than the old fat that it had been fried in for an hour. The chips looked like last nights left overs. Narled, crusty and rock hard. If I lived a bit closer I'd have taken the lot back and dumped it on their counter. Instead I dumped it in the bin. Normally I would like on be kind and say we have been spoiled by the amazing food served at Preston Old Road chippy and this just didn't match up, but it really was embarrassing, disgusting and a total rip off.

My wife and I visited One Stop for the first time as our son has just moved into this area. We did have to wait for quite a while for our order to be cooked. However, it was well worth it waiting for everything to be cooked from fresh. The fish was especially good - white and flaky in texture and the batter was light and crispy. We have tried fish and chips from the many options in Blackpool and One Stop is certainly up there with the best. The price was also good.
