Ordered breakfast bowl to take away. When it arrived I asked if any spoons to eat it with? I was told no so I asked how I was supposed to eat it? Answer not my problem by a rude lady serving. Asked why she didn't tell me they had no take away cutterely and why I wasn't told this when ordering? Had to ask for a refund Attitide was terrible and not as previous visits. Will think twice about going again if this is what to expect.

Excellent local and independent coffee place with tasty food offerings. I recommend the Icelandic Yogurt Bowl. Serves a few decent cocktails and beers also.

The coffee was the main reason we came to check this place out. We were really impressed by the black coffee which we tried first to check out it's flavour profile. Very good. But we love the flat white, which means the barista did a great job. Good coffee combined with a good barista.... Brill. The food happened to be excellent too.

Waited ages for expensive coffee

Entering the cafe, I was met with complete disregard from the staff. Not only did they fail to offer me a menu, but despite their website claiming food service until 3:30 PM, I was bluntly denied food at 3:04 PM. This experience was truly disappointing, especially after a 20-minute journey just for a midday coffee. The staff appeared more engrossed in petting dogs and chatting among themselves and other customers, completely neglecting any form of acknowledgment or welcoming atmosphere for patrons like myself. It's a lamentable display of customer service

Cute little coffee shop / cocktails bar serving up amaaazing toasted sandwiches at lunchtime. Recently tried an iced coffee, they added a twist of orange which was just SO delicious. Very dog friendly - love it!

Love coming here when I head back home from the big smoke. Always friendly, consitant with tasty food and good coffee.. my doggy loves it here too and always knows her way there no matter how long ago we've not visited. Super dog friendly.

Came in late on Sunday afternoon as needed to feed the baby and had our 19 month in his little car. We were sat at the table closest to the door and due to our son's car very slightly obscuring the doorway, the larger lady with glasses came over and asked us to move it as it was "annoying!" (her actual customer service trained vocabulary). A polite request would have been fine but felt this rudeness was really poor. Surprisingly nobody entered the shop after we lived the car. Would not recommend with such poor staff attitude

Definitely returning. Chicken hoagie and grilled cheese. Unreal. Edit: Menu frequently updated, hoagie no longer with us. The harpa is my new sandwich, delicious.

Lovely little place, excellent white hot chocolate and food was delicious. Not huge amount of range but it is very small, which I think adds to its charm. Would love to try some of their cocktails next time.

Dropped in for a coffee and pastry whilst walking through the village. Wednesday morning and it was almost full. Not surprised as both coffee and Danish pastry were excellent. Staff friendly and very efficient. Will definitely be back soon.

Stopped for a cocktail, stayed for some food! Lovely little lunch stop, with a good menu choice considering the size of the venue. The grilled cheese sandwich had a lovely dill mustard which went perfectly! My partner also loved his cocktails and hot dog! They also stock Butterholic pastries (which are also a delight) for a bit of dessert which is brilliant! Definitely recommended for a sit-in bite (if you can get a spot!)

We walked by today and thought the coffee shop looked interesting so decided to drop in for 2x flat whites. Staff were friendly, it was cosy and welcoming, chilled music was playing, but the highlight was the coffee. Flat white was exactly as it should be, milk was velvety soft, coffee was fragrant and strong. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and enjoy excellent coffee.

It's a cool place, with friendly staff. Food and drinks all good. Should move to a larger venue in the village if possible.

I think I could be described as a regular. And there’s a reason for that - a warm welcome every time from all the staff, delicious coffee, a quietly quirky space to work, relax or meet friends. I visit mostly during the day, always for coffee & occasionally for the elegant little menu of freshly prepared food - the grilled cheese is a sure fire hangover cure and the Reuben offers pickle heaven. You can create that hangover by popping by in the afternoon/ evening (or morning if that’s your mood) & sinking one or two of their excellent cocktails. Small but perfectly formed, One Percent Forest makes my neighbourhood feel like home.

Ever since moving to Woolton this has become my favourite coffee shop. Hannah, Dean and the rest of the team make you feel at home, remember your favourite drink and are very helpful with new suggestions. It has been a very welcoming place during the last 18 months and I'm just sorry I can't take advantage of their delicious cocktails

Such a friendly place staff are attentive and friendly. I can not recommend the cheese board highly enough nothing nicer with a bottle of wine.

Been here a few times while out for a walk. Felt a bit ripped off today, after buying a coffee I noticed it was in a smaller cup than usual. When I questioned it, the lad told me it was cos they ran out of the larger cups. It would have been ok if I was charged accordingly. Added to that was his casual attitude to giving less for same price. Not cool.

One Percent Forest is the most amazing little cafe and bar located in the heart of Woolton Village, Liverpool. The food and drinks are fantastic and made even better by the excellent service. The team are so wonderfully attentive and they’re always happy to help you and recommend what’s great on their menu at the time. During the day this is the perfect place for a coffee, something to eat - the food is amazing! Try the toasted sandwiches!! In the evenings it’s a truly fantastic cocktail bar. These guys know their cocktails and often have different specials on supporting various causes. Kylie is truly wonderful - so friendly and always happy to help!Oh and they’re dog friendly - winner!

This is by far the best place for drinks in Woolton Village! Amazing, friendly service and always a great atmosphere. They regularly update their menu too and have special events with themed drinks and food so there is always something new to try (even though the Pineapple Daiquiri will always be a winner). It’s great in the day too if you want somewhere for coffee and lunch!

Absolutely love this little cafe bar. They’re the best place around for coffees, I bloody love the Darkwoods Under Milk Wood blend. Kylie, Hannah, and Dean are very knowledgeable about cocktails and are so friendly!

Kylie sparkles and serves the best mimosas in town. The vibe is cosy and Scandinavian. The playlist is iconic. It’s a five star vibe.

I recently visited Liverpool from the US and stayed around the corner from One Percent Forest. My friend and I decided to stop in for a coffee one morning and so glad we did! It is a very charming shop and we were promptly greeted by Kylie. She made us the best flat whites we have ever had and some delicious breakfast too. Needless to say we became regulars for that trip. We even stopped by later in the day for some delicious and creative craft cocktails. Highly recommend!

Friendly excellent service. Great food and drinks. Hannah and Dean welcome everyone. Love the atmosphere very Scandinavian reflected in menus. Always greeted with a smile no matter what time of day. We have enjoyed one percent at all times of the day from coffee and breakfast right through to drinks and snacks in the evening. Highly recommend a bottle of wine and cheese board.

Popped in today after a recommendation from my mum-in-law and got the last table in the window! The coffee (a flat white) was fantastic--best tasting coffee I've had in a while and lovely presentation. I ordered the large avocado and tomato on toast which was delicious on sourdough bread. Loved looking through all the travel guides next to our table! Made us want to take another gap year!!Will definitely return. Such a lovely place!

Have been in a few times for cocktails. It’s a little place, but that only adds to the very cool vibe without any hint of pretentiousness. Service and cocktails are superb. An asset to Woolton.

He visitado este pequeño y encantador café varias veces y siempre lo he disfrutado. Se admiten perros y el tipo de lugar para tomarse un tiempo con un aperitivo y un café maravilloso. Nada es demasiado problema y te queda disfrutar de tu visita. Prueba los sándwiches de queso tostado, maravilloso. Entonces todo es tan fresco y sabroso, el menú es pequeño pero eso significa que toda la comida se cocina fresca. El único inconveniente es que el estacionamiento en la calle puede ser un poco dolor de cabeza. Situado en Woolton Village, una parte encantadora y ocupada de la historia de los Beatles. Bien vale la pena una visita. También abierto de una tarde.
