Omg, just had the most lovely night. Bit quiet as it was a rainy Monday but the food was incredible and didn't notice it was quieter as the background music was so good. Food was beautiful can't recommend highly enough, definitely one to try - stone's throw away from town and although I'm not a local have visited Edinburgh loads and spent a lot time in various establishments this has to be one of the best so far. Not to missed.

We are twice at this lovely wine cafe - once for dinner and once for breakfast. The food was outstanding, there was a fantastic wine list and the breakfast was just what we needed after a late night. Staff were friendly and attentive and we were even treated to a mini Bucks Fizz on the house which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

Top class from the moment we arrived - a warm welcome “sit where ever you like” (I really luv this !!!) The service and food were only excellent and well worthy of the awards achieved to date. How refreshing to find a restaurant that can offer fabulous food at any time of the day. Just back from Lunch at One20 Wine Cafe having been able to choose from a full menu of beautifully prepared dishes - Scampi Thermidor with Fries and vegetables for example! As always, first class service so an enjoyable visit guaranteed.

The food is fantastic. Good wine with a good price, very good service!!! Everything is good . And it is a great history about a father and son dream!!!

If you want it, they've got it. From coffee, to great food, deli meats, cheeses and oils to wonderful and rare alcohol. The owners and staff at this place go above and beyond to deliver amazing service. The owners on multiple occasions have gone out of their way to source me ingredients or alcohol that they didn't have in stock already and have been able to get hold of it in a matter of days. The cafe its self has a great atmosphere and ambience and is great for all occasions. One of Edinburgh's best cafes for sure; would highly recommend!

How lucky to be only 5 minutes away from this super establishment but well worth a taxi fare if you’re further afield. Another splendid Supper with Anchovies to start and then Lamb Tagine. As ever, fabulous service by Max with Ronnie and Kyle, the Owners, always present to ensure that all customers receive first class service. Really highly recommended..

Lovely small wine bar with a good selection of wines by the glass and small plates. Very nice service - we enjoyed happy hour here!

If you are in Edinburgh DO NOT MISS this wonderful restaurant!!! My husband and I had a fantastic dinner and are planning to go back for lunch tomorrow. I ate the monkfish medallions and my husband had lamb tagine followed by shared sticky toffee pudding. Every bite was truly amazing!! If you are looking for a delicious, non pretentious restaurant, with impeccable service then the One20 Wine Cafe should be #1 on your list!!

Very much enjoyed Italian style cuisine in a nice contemporary restaurant. Excellent burrata, was more a main course. Nice anchovies. Very nice Chicken Milanese, and Monkfish. Fabulous Tiramisu. I’m a bit of a connoisseur of tiramisu, and I order it across the world. This was possibly THE BEST. Nice drinks list. Service is perfect. The owner managers, father and son, are friendly and take their work seriously. We look forward to visiting Edinburgh again so that we can return for more great food. The walk from the centre of Edinburgh is very worth it.

Best lasagne in Edinburgh ! This was a delightful find located between Stockbridge and the city centre. A small but interesting menu will pleasantly surprise you. Great selection of wines and you can sample many of them before ordering. Servers were particularly kind and attentive.

We mistook One20 for the pasta place down the street. The elegant owner offered and walked us to it. We liked him so much in that short time that we walked back to his place. “Well, this is the best Italian restaurant in Edinburgh…” Indeed, the eggplant parmagiano was light as a cloud, the artichoke tapenaud did not disappoint, the salads refreshing and the rhubarb tart, crispy and bright. The wine list is impressive and the market next door most inviting. Headed there tomorrow. C’e vediamo!

Another super early Supper in One20 on a beautiful Edinburgh evening. Couldn’t resist the Monkfish Medallions with a lovely Mushroom sauce As ever, fabulous service ensures a delightful dining experience. Highly recommended, as ever!

Highly elevated wine selection and incredible Italian food. We appreciate the wine selection and had a delicious, reasonably priced bottle with our meal. The Italian food (Aubergine Parmesan, lasagna and shrimp scampi) were absolutely delicious. The eggplant was thinly sliced and perfectly cooked. Can not recommend this restaurant highly enough. Looking forward to returning.

I've lived in Edinburgh for 5 years and have been to many restaurants. This was one of, if not the best meals I've had here. I had the parmigiana di melanzane and my girlfriend had a gnocchi and mushroom special. We had a Sardinian red wine which was also fantastic! The service was great too! I would highly, highly recommend coming here.

This cafe/restaurant is truly amazing. Had lunch here with my daughter and the food and service were both excellent. We both had lasagne and I can honestly say it was the best lasagne I have ever eaten. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. Believe me you will not leave disappointed!!

We went for an evening meal at One20 on Saturday 14th. It was the last day of our time in the city. We rang to book - all tables inside had gone but they said there was a table outside available and as it was a lovely evening we went for this.The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. There were 3 of us and we all had very different meals. One had seared tuna which was just divine, another had a delicious mushroom risotto and I had the beef lasagne - full of flavour and beautifully cooked.They have a wonderfully extensive wine list with a large selection of other drinks as well. The menu is varied, but not too big to be overwhelming.Our only regret was that we didn't find this place earlier in the holiday, or we would have eaten there more than once, but next time we are in Edinburgh we will definitely visit again. Thanks to all the staff that looked after us so well.

Beautiful wine cafe with stylish decor and an endless list of luxurious drinks.Service was professional, friendly and very accommodating, fixing us up a mix of the cheese and meat platters with additional oils and vinegars. Coffees and tiramisu were exceptional also!Would love to go back to sample more of the menu and also the imported ingredients and food items they have for sale too.A must if you visit Edinburgh!(Very COVID safe with masks and table dividers too)

Every time we go to Edinburgh we have to make at least one visit to One 20 Cafe. Ronnie and Kyle are always so welcoming and the most professional hosts you can meet. The food is consistently delicious, especially the anchovies which are the best I’ve ever had! The wine list just gets better and better and there is a great selection by the glass which means you can try wines you’ve not had before, tell Kyle what you like and he will recommend something for you. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We cannot wait to go back!

Having not been in Edinburgh for a while we were struggling to find a place for brunch and came across 1twenty on Dundas st. Possibly the best avocado on toast ever, kids loved the muesli and the fresh pain au chocolat fresh out the oven. Excellent service, friendly staff. Just a lovely place and would love to try their dinner menu. Highly recommend

Found these guys through trip advisor. Decided to book. I have just left the restaurant currently walking up the street and just had to give a review asap!! This place is like no other. The service from start to finish was impeccable by all staff. We had the honour of meeting Ronnie who was kind enough to talk us through some cheeses, some wines, give us some complimentary pairings and not only that.. went to the bother of printing off some information on some of the food we loved!! My husband booked this as a treat on our honeymoon. We ordered a recommended red, chaucaterie board and a cheese board. Everything was delicious and we loved sampling the different cheeses with the wines. What a treat! More than this, though, was the service. Ronnie and Beth were absolutely lovely, fabulous to talk to and so kind. They celebrated with us and made the night an experience rather than just a meal. Would 100% recommend. So fantastic to see a small business do excellence. Thank you - will absolutely visit again.

Had the best time here. If you want a classy glass of wine with a bite to eat (of top quality food btw) then definitely stop here. The wine selection is truly extensive and the service was impeccable!

One20 is the find if the pandemic for my husband and I. We discovered it when all they were allowed to serve was takeaway meals , the first bit of ‘luxury’ all those months ago .Since then we have eaten in this wine cafe several times breakfast , lunch and supper and even coffees outside in the sunshine. The food is fantastic and the service excellent. The owners and all the staff are incredibly professional and helpful and have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic despite difficult restrictions. We love it here and will be back soon.

Visited yesterday for the first time. Had the Smashed Avocado and it was excellent. Staff are very nice. Worth a visit.

Top quality ingredients made into simple, stylish cheese and charcuterie boards - I could eat like this every day and really wish that we had more restaurants like this in this country. We had the perfect lunch with a glass of chilled red - delicious. The anchovies were served on big doorstops of bread which overpowered them; I would have put them on thinner toast; less authentic I know, but still. The older gentleman who welcomed us was a little frosty; he told my daughter and my husband not to rest their face masks on the table - if the tables are being cleaned after every use, I'm not sure why this bothered him. I would have bought some wine on the way out but he made me feel uncomfortable so I didn't. Perhaps he would have been friendlier if we were local.

We found ourselves back in Edinburgh for our 47th Wedding Anniversary and decided to celebrate with a meal at One20. In hindsight, it was a brilliant choice. The atmosphere was great while the service was faultless. The food was as we expected it would be - outstanding. (If you haven’t had the Aberdeen Angus lasagne then, in my opinion, you haven’t lived.)The champagne and wine were top class and the attention to detail mark this place head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you Ronnie and Kyle, I’m sure we’ll see you again soon.

Really enjoyed one20, service from booking to eating was superb, all the staff very friendly & helpful, well done to lad who was working his first night also. Food & wine were excellent & value for money was brilliant! The Anchovies on toast were super.

A friend and I were meeting up after a long time not seeing eachother and we found this place recommended by the owner of the Airbnb she was staying in. We are so glad to have had that recommendation as it was wonderful. First impressions were of quite a "smart" place, but the service was impeccable, friendly and attentive without being over the top. Neither of us is a a wine buff, so the recommendation provided by the owner was much appreciated and perfectly matched to our likes and our budget. We ordered a sharing plate of charcuterie and cheeses, and they were amazingly delicious and so diverse. Suggestions for what to eat first and information about where they all came from made the meal all the more enjoyable.The measures to make the place feel covid-safe were very reassuring, but somehow very discreet, so the fact that we visited during the pandemic made no difference to our evening. Oh, and gluten free options were deliciously provided! I feel sad that I live 100 miles away, but nevertheless, I will be back!

Having not seen Ronnie for over 25yrs when I worked for him it was great catching up.He has never changed.What a fabulous experience visiting One20, seated to a nice table outside for drinks sitting in the sun where a well trained waiter advised us of a very nice wine to accompany our starters of smoked salmon(delicious), once becoming cooler we went inside to a beautiful seating area where Ronnie was very engaging explaining to us how the business started and the future to the business(wish you all the best great venture). We could not fault the evening, wine or food. One 20 is highly recommended and look forward to returning again.

We had such a wonderful time at One20 — the restaurant’s interior is so nicely designed and well curated, and the atmosphere is just great. Ronnie and Kyle are amazing hosts and it was great chatting to Ronnie about the history of the business.We had the most exceptional cheese platter, as well as the Parmiggiana de melanzane and burrata, which really us feel like we were back in Italy!! Third visit to One20 & once again, above & beyond. We go for the wine - ask for recommendation - you’re in for a real treat . On this occasion, we had an awesome Italian Syrah. Delicious food - avocado starters (Dearheart’s included salmon), then the nicest veggie bake & a meat lasagne with lovely side salad, with great coffee to finish. Maybe we shouldn’t have had that last glass of dessert wine but it was yummy! Super & friendly service was an added bonus. Really, we’re v fussy - we couldn’t fault it. Big thanks to Ronnie & Kyle & the team for a wonderful evening. We can’t wait til next time.

Another super dining experience at 120 - extremely lucky to have this establishment around the corner. Only the finest produce is used here and this creates a delightful Menu. Fabulous enthusiastic Staff with Ronnie and Kyle overseeing the whole operation. Highly recommended

WE had a very pleasant evening here - really felt safe and with great wines, good service and food . The menu is limited but interesting - not for you if you want a big steak but it felt upmarket and really worth a visit.

A calm clean establishment where good food is served in style and unpretentiousness. We have only been in for coffee so far but I find myself in need to return. Please keep it up. We need an above average place to go and chill.

It's great to have such a super wine bar/cafe within walking distance . We keep returning for their excellent food and wines. Favourites from the menu are the lasagne and tiramisu and from the wideranging winelist the pinot grigio from the Veneto. The decor is stylish and Kyle and Ronnie are always welcoming and make us feel at home. They are to be commended for continuing to keep the business going during lockdown with their attractive shop and by providing delicious takeaways.The staff are efficient and very friendly and we look forward to our next visit.

We arrived for a midweek lunch as a group of 4 without a reservation but we had no problem being seated straight away. We shared charcuterie and cheese boards between us along with wines recommended by our server, all of which were excellent. One of the highlights of our stay in Edinburgh.

We visited one 20 for lunch in the sun on a Friday. Tim made us feel at home straight away, sharing his knowledge and helping us pick from the impressively extensive wine list. We enjoyed an outstanding cheeseboard and burrata with our drinks. Tim was attentive, knowledgable, personable and made our lunch the highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. We can’t wait to come back!

The food is incredible alway get the mixed platter for two. The guys are amazing, staff are super helpful and attentive. Super fresh, amazing cheese, amazing wine selection. If you’re looking for a great cheese and wine bar, definitely put this on your radar.

So enjoyed an early Supper last night at the 120 Wine Bar and Cafe. Amazing service even thought they were busy - Ronnie and Kyle and their super Staff ensure that you will be well looked after.Fabulous food - I had Burrata, Fish Cake and finished with Tiramisu, all totally delicious! My fiance and I had a little impromptu overnight in Edinburgh and booked here as I wanted someting more laid back. Lets just say we were not dissapointed- had a delicious meal and wine was something special. Absolutely amazing food, service and atmosphere. My partner and I stopped in for a couple of drinks and a small bite. Everything was perfection. The quality of food is next level, with thought out food combinations right down to the micro greens. 11/10.

Wow....what a fantastic find this restaurant is!!! Visiting Edinburgh with the family and booked ONE 20 for a meal! We had a genuinely wonderful time here! Ronnie was the perfect host, very pleasant...informative and warm! The food was exceptional! And as a hardened carnivore...I was completely blown away by the peanut & mushroom roast! 10 out of 10 on that one...but if you ever needed a complete testimony to how good this restaurant is...my 14 year old...expert pasta and pizza connoisseur...declared the ONE 20 lasagna to be THE BEST....EVER!! congratulations guys!! We were made to feel welcome and you are a credit to Edinburgh! And a special mention to Beth who made the evening such a fabulous experience! Take a bow ONE 20!!

A gorgeous Italian restaurant and deli in the heart of Edinburgh. I stopped by as a solo female traveller and Ronnie and the staff made me feel so welcome. The parmigiana and wine were delicious and the whole experience was completely relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you!

Back in my favourite City and able to visit the wonderful 120 Wine Cafe again with the easing of Covid restrictions.No lessening of safety precautions here but lovely to be able to enjoy the full delights of this establishment.Super food at all times of the day served by welcoming and efficient Staff. It’s been a long time coming but Ronnie and Kyle have weathered the storm and are hopefully sailing into calmer waters. What a treat to be able to once more sit down, no mask, and savour one(or two) of their delicious americanos. If you haven’t discovered this gem yet then get yourself down to Dundas Street pdq. If you have time for something to eat, look no further than the lasagne followed by tiramisu. I guarantee you’ll be both delighted and addicted. Buena suerte guys.

Last week, I found myself with no coins and unable to app park so popped in here to ask for change. The 2 utterly charming gentleman within came to my aid with change galore and a delicious Espresso Macchiato! They were so lovely and calming and I really appreciated their help. The restaurant looked fab and having now looked at their reviews I can’t wait to get back to try some delicious food. Thank you so much for the rescue and I did make my appointment!

120 Dundas Street is a great asset to this area of Edinburgh. The food served here is delicious and stylish. Hopefully we will all soon be able to dine inside again when the restrictions are uplifted. At present I can thoroughly recommend their takeaway food. It is like the very best home cooking, only a notch or two higher. Kyle's chicken liver pate is delicious. I can also recommend their lasagne and the salmon and cod pie. The sweet nibbles are dangerously moreish. Do go and look at their menu online. Once you are inside, there is the temptation of all the deli stuff for sale. It is a very elegant establishment and Kyle and Ronnie are perfect hosts.

An enforced dental emergency meant I had to return to Edinburgh for a few days. I was thrilled to see One20 still open and busy. The front part of the cafe is now a shop, a very well stocked one too. The quality and range of goods were as impressive as they were extensive. Ronnie and Kyle are currently operating a comprehensive take away service so I was able to treat myself to one of their stunningly good lasagnes. (The only complaint was that I had to eat it at home and not in the wine cafe.) As a bonus, I was able to buy half a dozen uncooked ones to freeze, so putting myself in a position to do more than just dream when their weekly takeaway menu arrives in my inbox. These two are workaholics, and the fruits of their labours mean they take their place amongst the elite of places to eat in Auld Reekie. They also understand what great service involves and, to cap it all, you couldn’t meet two nicer guys - I’ve already booked a table for their reopening.

We are so happy that we went in the open door of One20 during the first lockdown. The food and products they offer have been a staple ever since. We have dined in, picked up take-away and bought various products and wines from the store. They have all been outstanding, and we always come back for more.Given the quality of the food, it is difficult to imagine that the service can top it, but Kyle and Ronnie offer the most incredible service we have ever encountered. Goodness me, what a feast, all provided by this amazing establishment - Chicken Casserole with Wild Mushrooms, Beef Casserole with Guinness, Potato Dauphinoise and Tiramisu to follow. So lucky to have One 20 Wine Cafe close to home and full of admiration for Ronnie and Kyle.

Fabulous lockdown takeaway menu updated regularly. Latest dish we enjoyed was chicken chasseur and the lasagne is consistently good. Dined here regularly al fresco pre Covid and looking forward to it again this spring/summer. Check out the valentines teddy bears with a zipped compartment to fill with heart shaped chocolates and other goodies they have in the store section of restaurant❤️

These guys have moved heaven and earth to keep we lucky locals fed and watered this last year. And how lucky we are! Top quality takeaways with superb wines and coffee to go. Nothing is too much trouble and they always seem to be around- how do they manage it? The personal touch, professional approach and top quality service. Five stars don’t get anywhere near it. We liked this restaurant for its atmosphere, for the quality of the food and for the originality of the menu, fast and attentive service, very good.

This wee gem on Dundas Street keeps me going on winter (and summer!) days either by serving me a lovely lunch with my mum (covid rules permitting) or delivering lovely meals for Sunday lunch to her house so my frail dad can enjoy. Dinner available too. When covid means we can't dine in I drop by for a luxury treat to take to my own home with me. Kyle's Tiramisu is divine and there is a selection of Italian delicacies to pick from and enjoy.....like nothing I've seen elsewhere. The Aberdeen Angus lasagne is a favourite too. Service and staff are fabulous. If I drank alcohol I'd be ordering or buying the wine too. All in all one of the things that makes life that wee bit nicer. Coffee takeaways and croissants etc also an option.

Fabulous mid week takeaway of chicken chasseur from this friendly restaurant. Great with a bottle of their Malbec. Bravo.

What would we have done without One20 during lockdown? Love their luxury delicatessen for chocolates, caviar and quality Italian products. Have dined in when possible - their lasagne is the stuff of legend - and the takeaway lobster thermidor makes for a real treat. My daily takeaway coffee and chat with the two delightful owners kept me sane in 2020.

This wonderful cafe has adapted brilliantly to the challenges of Covid, providing a tempting choice of delicious take-away meals to help relieve the tedium of lockdown! This family-run cafe with an Italian flavour is a delight to visit, even during lockdown. Ronnie and his son Kyle are invariably polite and welcoming, so it has become a home from home for me of late. Of course I look forward to being able to meet friends there again when this becomes possible. But meantime I shall enjoy being cheered up by my visits there to collect special meals each weekend. There is also a huge choice of wines and other Italian delicacies to tempt you. You also need to try the coffee and almond croissants for a treat! Go on - spoil yourselves! Happy New Year!

We booked in for a late breakfast with a friend to catch up. We had a bit of everything from the menu with coffee and juices. It was a lovely breakfast (scrambled eggs, avocado dish, bircher muesli black pudding). We also stocked up on wine and oil from their shop and our friend bought sweets for Xmas stockings. Every time I go to One20 I know I can rely on brilliant service and food of the highest quality. Whether it’s a sit in coffee and croissant, the formidable black pudding and apple brunch or a legendary takeaway lasagne I am never disappointed. Delicious gem of a cafe / wine bar. Despite the First Minster trying her hardest to dampen our social lives we are keen to support local businesses. Amazing lunch, fabulous service

So lucky to have this establishment on our ‘doorstep’ but I’d encourage anyone to travel from a little further afield as you won’t be disappointed. Fabulous Coffees, Cake, Breakfasts and light Lunches with excellent service. Save a little extra time during your visit to be tempted by an amazing array of Wine, Italian Oils and other goodies!! How lucky we are to have had the 120 Wine Cafe opened during these difficult times. Highly recommended!

I would thoroughly recommend all aspects of this delightful restaurant/wine bar/cafe/deli - food, wine and atmosphere are all excellent and also individual. Ronny and Kyle provide a personal and attentive service and always seem ready to go the extra mile for their customers. Throughout the challenging times of the last year they have done their utmost to keep their show on the road and their take out service has provided a most welcome relief from home confinement.

ONE20 is a ONE off!!! Situated near the centre of town, in the New Town Community, the ambiance allows everyone gently relax, and to appreciate their designer surroundings. The food is top quality and burdting with flavours from all over. The Charcuterie is fabulous, The Parmigiana di Melanzane is warming and so flavourful. In these days of lock down, this local cafe has offered top quality meals to be carried home or eaten inside if it's daytime . They have truly saved the health and well being of the surrounding area. We may unfortunately, not be able to drink in their unbelievably delicious wines inside the cafe, but we can buy them to take home to drink with Kyle's oh so tasty homemade chicken liver pate with brandy and Bristol Cream!!Excellent continental products are for sale too. I shall never buy supermarket pasta again, now that I have tasted the real deal at home! A family business, Ronnie and son Kyle have succeeded in bringing the tastes of the world to Edinburgh!They are the people who, with their commitment, make this business work smoothly and professionally, offering nothing but the best.

One of the finds of this rather bizarre lock down has been our new Saturday dinner ritual through collection from One 20. Wednesday evening has now been waiting for Ronnie and Kyle's menu for the weekend. It has its usual lasagne, parmigiana di melanzana, cheese and charcuterie platters and burrata (with or without anchovies) but accompanied by the changing mix of specials Beef Wellington, salmon encroute, home made liver pate or my own favourite lamb tagine. You can order (and we do) the sides and deserts such as tiramisu. There wsas outrage in the house when they didn't have any tiramisu! It doesn't matter what you choose as its all divine. The portions mean that we live off it for a while. Finally, what is there to say about Ronnie and Kyle themselves other than they are amazing, welcoming yet very professional. and make our Saturday nights something we look forward to. Eating out in our home has never been so special.

This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Edinburgh! The food is stunning no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Ronnie, Kyle and their team are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.My wife and I love this place and we will continue to visit.Highly recommend!

Can’t begin to explain how delicious the brunch menu is let alone the food itself! So many options, we had the scrambled eggs with truffle & the Tower of Stornaway black pudding & red apple with eggs... wow! Amazing!! A classy, calm environment with great COVID measures in place - as a key worker this is very important to me. We felt very relaxed & safe! Lovey helpful staff with great knowledge on the retail wine selection. So many goodies in the retail section. We went for brunch & done half our Christmas shopping! Can’t wait to return for dinner!

Having the pastry selecton right by the door and uncovered seems very careless at this time or indeed at any time. At least put a glass dome over them.

Whether its a delicious coffee, high quality wine, interesting dishes or great service you are looking for, this is the place to come. Our friends-so helpful during the various phases of lockdown, when take aways were the thing. Also an excellent venue for wine tastings!

Delicious coffee, pleasant staff and surroundings sublime. Great selection of authentic artisan food products. Looking forward to my next visit.

Be prepared ... if you dine at One 20 many things will never be the same again! If detail is your thing you will be in your element here, expect to be served elegantly and only the best of everything - food, wine, pastries the list goes on... almond croissants from elsewhere don’t hold a candle to One20’s, smoked salmon exceptional, macarons the most magical i have ever tasted .... and the lasagne - well you’ll just have to try that for yourself but don’t pinch my table

This one of our favourites in Edinburgh. Interesting food and wines - out of the ordinary. There is also a a wide variety of wines and continental specialties available for purchase.

Our first visit to One20 Wine Cafe. A lovely place and all done very safely. We ordered a takeaway of Parmigiana di Melanzana ( grilled aubergines with mediterranean tomato sauce and parmesan ) Absolutely delicious ! Menu changes regularly . Looking forward to trying their lasagne.Will definitely return. Thank you !

Whenever we are in Edinburgh we come to One20. Whether it's popping in for macaroons, delicious coffee, a bottle of olive oil as a gift or a glass of wine and some food the owners always make you feel welcome. They have great gluten free options and the cheese and charcuterie board is excellent! Our dachshund has also become far too fond of the cumberland sausage that the owners sneak him under the table. He eats almost as well as us.

What a perfect place for lunch on a wet Edinburgh afternoon. Loved the ambiance, especially walking past all the interesting wines. We were sat at a lovely table and enjoyed the melanzana and an Aberdeen Angus lasagna. Highly recommend.

Came here for an evening meal in September the food was delicious and the service was amazing so helpful and attentive. I fancied some cheese to go with my wine after my meal and they kindly created this for me even though it wasn’t on the menu

One20 has a very good range of Italian dishes on the menu, backed up by a fantastic wine selection. The wines are available by the glass to allow you the opportunity to try a few. The staf are very knowledgeable about food and wine and keen to give advice. The owner and his son were on site and made sure that we were happy with our evening. Highly recommended.

This is a very special restaurant. A father and son team have created something truly extraordinary. They source the perfect ingredients, serve them simply but very elegantly, and accompany them with beautiful Italian wines. We had lunch today, and shared a burrata starter and the anchovies on toast. The burrata was the best I have ever tasted and the anchovies were delicious, just gently warmed. We then shared a meat and cheese platter, with exquisite spiced fruits. All accompanied by some delicious young Chardonnay. The perfect picnic for grown-ups.

We came to Edinburgh for my husband's birthday weekend and decided on this little gem for his birthday dinner. I emailed in advance and asked if they do anything special for birthdays, much to my surprise I was offered a personalised menu! My husband loves Italian and the chef/owner was more than happy to CREATE a 3 course meal for us incorporating my husbands favourite foods we had a salmon and avocado starter, lasagne for mains which was amazing (chef cooked this with lamb mince as we do not eat beef) and a selection of chocolate cakes for dessert followed by a delectable slice of tiramisu with a candle on top! The service was top notch as was the food, would defo reccomend to anyone visiting Edinburgh......If not for the food, stop by for a glass of wine!

This gorgeously pretty little place was amazing. From ringing to ask if we could have the table a little earlier, to the service from the staff and the owner it was all just perfect. The atmosphere was calm, intimate and just what we needed. We loved being able to watch the chefs create in the kitchen and the Slovenian Sauvignon (who knew?!) and the ales were just gorgeous. You should try the burrata and the lasagne, or the porcetta ...all were amazing.

We really enjoyed the menu of wines - unusual selection and Kyle was on hand to explain the wines. We were immediately offered to taste the wines before choosing which was great. The Gallo and Sauvignon Barrique were amazing, and the Piedirosso also very nice. Lovely cheese and charcuterie board to go with them. Friendly staff, beautifully set up, not too pricey - overall loved it and would highly recommend.

Booked for 5pm but arrived half an hour early. Shown to a small table where we were offered complementary nibbles and could order drinks while we waited. We sat outside as it was a lovely evening. When our table was ready we were talked through the menu by a waiter who clearly was knowledgeable and interested in the food and wine. The food was delicious - main, dessert, coffee and a fabulous wine list. I had the cheese platter which I could not fault. The owner/manager also spoke with us and his passion for his establishment was obvious. All in all great food, great wine and great staff. Will definitely be back !
