Olley & Olley Street Food in Selby

Lucky for me the layby where Olley parks his trailer is really close to me so a good breakfast sarnie is a real treat. Top quality sausages and bacon plus all the trimmings . A real change from usual cheap roadside cafes . Quality food, clean and friendly too.

Their Street Food Waggon was visiting the launch of the King's Arms at North Duffield. I tried the "Magna Carta" sausage with Cheddar Cheese, Gherkins & Fried Onions, whilst my friend had the Veggie option - "Squeaky Clean" of Grilled Halloumi, Fried Onions, Lettuce, Sliced Apple and Tomato. Both absolutely sensational.

If you happen to pass this roadside cafe, I cannot recommend you call enough, it’s beautiful food, all hand made burgers and sausages, with homemade chutney. They also take cards if you’ve no cash with you. Friendly service and very clean. Tuesday to Friday till 1 o’clock only. Rick stein even said “they are very good”

I have been here a few times now for a double burger, not just any burger, a handmade, lovely, juicy, tasty burger! I have tried hundreds of burgers and hats off to this chap at the Escrick layby. They ARE the best yet.

I dream of these sausage sandwiches, amazing and top bloke who makes them !! Try the oath with the chutney, onion and fresh apple, delicious !!
