Our first time in Kinver for breakfast before embarking on our walk along the canal and up to Gibbet Wood. Tea cakes, toast with marmalade, tea and coffee for breakfast. There was a lot more we could have had and it all looked delicious. The ladies were so welcoming and one, the owner I guess, gave us some very useful information on how to get to the canal to start the walk. All in all a most pleasurable experience which will see us back hopefully for a full breakfast.

After being let down by a couple of other cafes in Kinver in the morning trying to get a full English breakfast we stumbled on this little time warp cafe.Woman serving was really polite and couldn’t do enough for us.Quaint little place.Breakfasts could do with being a bit bigger...but overall we enjoyed it.

My friends and I visited for a walk around Kinver edge and came across this time warp, it's the first place we came across on the high street and wished we hadn't. Staff were unfriendly and down right rude, had to wait until they finished their conversation before being served ?? Food was basic and unremarkable ...... avoid !!!!

This is a tired cafe that needs to be brought up to date like the post below the the knives and forks are old and mis matched and the service is very poor I too had to wait while others were served who came in after I placed my order, the breakfasts are nothing special cheap sausage and cheap beans, with two other cafes competing in the village standards need to improve a customer toilet should be a given in a food establishment

Oil cloth table cloths may be easy to wipe but look so dated. All crockery and cutlery are mis-matched. Only 1 lady taking orders, serving drinks, cooking, serving to table so long waits. Cooking had to wait when more folk came in for drinks. Jacket was OK but the chilli was watery, not tasteful and was served with 2 tiny pieces of tomato, 2 tiny pieces of iceberg and a couple of other small pieces of salad. At £5.95 poor value. Wife had a omelette which she said was OK but not fluffy, certainly not a 3 egg. Seemed the omelette had been cooked and the a spoonful of mushrooms put in the middle. Drinks were fine but well finished before meals came. Even worse - asked for the toilet and told that they did not have one - told to go down the road for 20p or pop across to the pub over the road! Would have thought toilet facilities in an eating establishment were a must, All in all - they would do best stick to cakes, pastries and sandwiches and hot drinks - and sort out toilet facilities.

We visited the shop on a bank holiday when most other businesses in the area were closed. I found the staff very friendly, the coffee and cakes were tasty and good value, and the décor was pleasant and quaint. Just what you would expect in an idealic village of Kinver, conveniently placed a short walk from the Kinver rock houses.

A family run café, serving fresh food with a cheery delivery. A must 'stopover' if visiting Kinver. Homemade cakes are delicious, the sandwiches are great. Order your own specialities and they do their best to satisfy your requirements.
