Loud music, not great if you want to talk during your dinner

Fantastic meal at Olea Weston super mare, with brilliant service as well. Highly recommend 😀

Food and service was lovely, but during the evening (Saturday) they play very loud music

Would score 0 attended for a meal on carnival night paid £200 after meal we wanted to stand out on terrace but unfortunately Harry the owner informed us we would be charge additional £5 per a person. None informed us of this until we finished our meal. Harry the owner is arrogant has no customer services skills what so ever. Will not be attending again.

Very nice place to chill. And the food you wont regret, da best! worth every bit! 😃😃 and the drinks and the music. Chill. Will definitely come back again really soon. ♥️♥️

Came here for cocktails with some friends. Sat on a table in the back, nice atmosphere and great selection of cocktails. Only thing was we ordered the same cocktails and between us the flavour and size was quite varied! Different glasses also which bit odd but tasted good! Nutella martini went down very well.

We had the brunch today. It was good. But woukd be better if we could try different cocktails instead of have to stick with the same one through 90 min. Food was good

Celebrated a 21st birthday at Olea recently. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. Food was lovely and a brilliant range of cocktails. Relaxed atmosphere and a mixed age group of people. Had a wonderful night!

Amazing- went there for my partners 21st birthday and was treated wonderfully. Staff were all very nice and attentive to our table. We all had food which we loved and was delicious. The drinks were also amazing such as the cocktails. Atmosphere here is very good, bit quieter in the back when you're eating then livens up in the front for a bit of partying. They kept us a table out the front for when the restaurant shut so we had somewhere to stay and drink. Also good seating outside which has shelter too. And the doorman/bouncer was a top guy making sure there was no trouble 👌 Highly recommend, will be back for more soon

First time coming here and it won't be the last. Amazing place with great food and a chilled atmosphere. Definitely recommend coming here, the tapas is incredible. Service was attentive, always making sure our glasses were full and empty plates cleared as soon as they were finished with.

Olea is a beautiful restaurant. Brenda was a fantastic server. She was friendly, informative and welcoming. The other staff around the restaurant were very friendly also. The food was 10/10. Very fresh and flavoursome.

Sumptuous burgers with side order of fat chips was a culinary delight washed down with Camden Ale. I knew I had eaten when I left. The staff were exemplary with good service and friendly demeanour. If I do come back to Weston-super-Mare I will definitely return...

Had a meal here on the first day of the Shanty weekend. The food was lovely and full of flavour. We ate early and there weren't many people in the restaurant, so the service was great. Love the Greek food.

Lots of great options on the menu. The pita wraps are excellent and reasonably priced. The staff greeted us on arrival and were attentive throughout the visit. We also had the 3 tapas dishes for £13.95 which were lovely.

A bar, opposite the Italian Gardens, in the heart of Weston-super-Mare. We stopped for a lunch time drink, and chose to sit out in the early afternoon sunshine on one of the small number of tables just in front of the bar. We started with an excellent chilled glass of wine, and followed that up with coffee & a slice of cheesecake which was exceptionally delicious. The interior is well decorated, and I thought it a very pleasant environment. It seemed to be primarily a meeting place for groups of people. It would probably appeal to the younger generations; although there were plenty of older people like myself. The outside tables are a little bit close together, but this doesn't stop you sitting comfortably. There is a small wooden barrier that seperates patrons from the general public walking by. The service was very good, and the staff cheerful. They can take card payments at the tables. All in all, it's a great place to stop; I think that we'll be back again.

We visited Olea in May as we were holidaying nearby. We stumbled upon it purely by accident. As my son is autistic we have always had a limited selection on what he would eat. We explained this to the staff who then preceded to list a variety of things that appealed to our son. Their attentiveness was awesome. The food at this place is amongst the best you will ever taste. Their burgers are phenomenal and their spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread was amazing. Huge portions of pasta and my son couldn’t eat it all which is very unusual for him. We sat inside as it was very hot outside. Exceptionally clean restaurant and ultra clean loos. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will most definitely be back. Thank you.

Visited Olea for lunch yesterday and it was really good. Great cocktails, lovely food, very reasonable prices, nice decor, sparkling clean (even the loos) and a really friendly and helpful guy who served us. We had the tapas and it was beautifully presented very tasty and plentiful. The dessert choice was huge and the biscoff cheesecake was one of the best I have tasted. This place is a hidden gem. I will be spreading the word as to how lovely this place is for lunch and definitely be visiting again.

Shocked at the attitude of the manager/waiter His arrogance led to us having the wine we ordered and leaving to find somewhere else to eat Particularly disappointing as we have been there before and enjoyed ourselves

First visit and loved it. Handy for the Playhouse Theatre. Really wide range of choices. Greek style, steaks, fresh fish, burgers etc Food was delicious and fresh. Greek chicken was so tasty I'd come back just for that ! Bar area through the front, and we ate in very pretty room in the back of the restaurant. It was a quiet night very early pre theatre time but there was still enough atmosphere to be enjoyable Great find and we will return when next in Weston Super Mare. .

We visited Olea as a group of six for a birthday celebration last night (a Saturday). The food was excellent with a good selection of vegetarian options, a great drinks menu and the service was fab. Attentive without being overbearing. The only comment that I would have for other visitors is to be aware that the front of the venue is quite clubby. You walk through a lively space with banging music which may put some people off. The restaurant area is at the back and, although quieter, the music was still loud enough to have to raise our voices over. Having enjoyed the food and service, this would not put me off visiting again but probably with friends rather than for a romantic meal.

We visited Olea during the Christmas period and the service and quality of food remained very high despite the busyness! We opted for the tapas menu which was the best way to try out a few different dishes of the chefs. Wine was fantastic too! The restuarant part is located at the back of the venue, with the bar area at the front. The decor in the restaurant felt quite upscale, creating a great atmosphere. Would go back again!

Whilst in Weston for the ice skating we needed somewhere to eat for a group of ten (kids and adults). Stumbled across this place and so glad we did. The staff greeted us and showed us to a lovely table at the rear of the restaurant. Food choices were great and had a mixture of hot and cold tapas and burgers. All food arrived at same time with everything correct. Food was delicious and staff very helpful. Kids loved the swinging seats in particular 🤣 Would absolutely return again.

Before I get into the nitty gritty I’d like to say the waiters were excellent, in all honesty I’d give them 5 stars, friendly attentive can’t fault in anyway and I wish to say thank you and would also like to thank you for making the pain of the horrible dark sadistic attitude and experience of what followed ‘at least bearable’ which was out of your control. So once again I thank you for what must of been a difficult situation. NOW!! Back to ye olde nitty gritty, I’ve never in my life experienced such a demoralising, half witted confrontation regarding a subjective unhygienic ‘untouched by one I might add’ pint. After a lovely meal I must say, with 3 honourable respectable fellows of mine. We decided to have a night cap drink before retiring. Thou spotted a lingering alien object in one’s drink, not a problem as these things happen. I raised the concern to a staff member, I was expecting a non hassle replacement, which due to the fact we had already had 3 excellent beers each prior and as the subjective beverage had been untouched, I believed this wouldn’t be an issue. Briefly after I was confronted by what I believe was the bar manager that evening. He kindly brought the infected tainted beverage back to me and my constituents to explain ‘whilst making a scene’ that our eyesight has been found wanting. That the pint was perfect‘I did pause and reflect on myself and my judgment’ is this gentleman correct, did I and my fellow partially sighted friends make an error…..na …..however there was only 1 guy wearing glasses through that whole experience…guess who that was!!!

I really liked the place. A wet Tuesday evening in November isn't the best time to judge the atmosphere but I had the impression that it would be a lively place to be at the weekend. The service was good - very friendly and helpful. I really liked the cotton napkins - so much nicer than paper ones. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. Unfortunately I couldn't eat all of mine because it was way too salty. My husband enjoyed his burger but also said it was way too salty. So I would definitely go back to Olea for drinks but probably wouldn't eat there again. Both our meals being too salty makes me assume that all the dishes would be the same which is a real shame.

Very nice looking place. Appealing ambience and well dressed staff. Ordered two tapas options. What a disappointment. Very poor. Asked for some garlic mayonnaise and hot sauce to try to salvage something out of the experience. A plastic bottle of siracha and a few 'sachets' of mayo were then deposited with us. My suggestion - admire OLEA as you walk straight by, to almost anywhere else!

I recently visited Olea in Weston-Super-Mare, known for its Mediterranean cuisine. While I didn't get to try their food, my experience during an evening for drinks left me with mixed feelings: Mediterranean Ambiance : Olea's atmosphere is undeniably Mediterranean, with vibrant neon signs, attractive seating, and well-set tables that set the mood for a fun evening. Lively But Overcrowded : Unfortunately, the evening was marred by excessive noise. A live DJ amped up the energy, but it made conversation nearly impossible. The overcrowding added to the discomfort. Finding personal space and moving around was a challenge. Pricing and Service : The drinks were of good quality, but they came at a premium. Even basic beverages like lemonade felt pricey. While the drinks were enjoyable, the value for money left something to be desired. Formality and Atmosphere : One aspect that affected the experience was the perceived judgment from staff and fellow patrons due to our formal attire. A more inclusive and non-judgmental atmosphere would be appreciated. Unwelcoming Bouncers : It's worth mentioning that the bouncers seemed to have an attitude with everyone who entered. Their approach could be friendlier and more welcoming, as this plays a significant role in the overall guest experience. In summary, Olea offers a vibrant Mediterranean ambiance, making it a great spot for a night out. However, the loud environment and overcrowding might not be to everyone's liking. The drink prices were on the higher side, and the perceived judgment from staff and fellow patrons was somewhat off-putting. Furthermore, the unfriendly attitude of the bouncers should be addressed for a more welcoming atmosphere. If you're in the mood for an energetic and bustling night out, Olea might be the place for you, but be prepared for a lively, crowded experience with a few potential downsides.

Wow, what a brilliant Friday night me & my family had here! Delicious evening meal, attentive, friendly staff & fabulous live entertainment (Emilio Santoro as Elvis) in the lounge bar afterwards. Brilliant atmosphere too. Thank you Harry & all of your hard working staff - a night to remember!

Fantastic place with lovely decorations. Went for cocktails and tapas. Loads of choice for cocktails so highly recommend for that. Tapas was lovely. The service was superb. Only drawback for me is that it can be quite loud when it's busy as it has high ceilings.
