Go here everyday for my after work coffee and staff are always so friendly and great atmosphere and as well as delicious coffee! No better place to come for daily coffee fix :)

The eggs were over cooked and cold. They don’t do decaf coffee. Staff were surly, But I wouldn’t write a post about just that! What is so bizarre about this place is, I had just come back from a holiday in Morocco only to be pickpocketed sitting at a corner table in this place! Not only myself but my husband also. The oddest thing was that we were not in any queues to get food (so not near anyone that could have jostled us and slipped their hands in our pockets). But sat far away from everyone in a corner. Only staff cleaning tables in our section and no other customers nearby. I noticed within 45 mins of paying for food and leaving that our cards had been taken and 4x £60 withdrawn in cash from the post office counter. The bank suggested that I report it to the manager. Who told me it was no surprise to her and seemed very matter of fact. I suppose I would have expected so empathy, some acknowledgement, but the response was very matter of fact to the point she said “it happens all the time.” Make that of it what you will ……… Best avoid in my opinion! Food, service not great and to top it all off I had two cards and £240 stolen in 45 minutes !

I have been to a few of Ole&Steen coffee shop. It seems they are short of staff hence very poor service. Dirty tables. Lots of crumbs on the floor where the pastries are stored which is not a good sight. You have lost two customers.

I loved my experience there! The cinnamon rolls were amazing! I would recommend to all kinds of people.

Very disappointing visit. Stood for about 5 minutes at the counter despite around 3 staff not paying any attention. Very poor customer service and lack of attention as one member of staff bumped into the other as she was pouring milk into the coffee. Staff desperately need some sort of training. Only one seemed to be efficient taking it upon herself to do some jobs - such as wiping tables. I thought this was an upmarket place, but clearly not.

Proximity to the palace, but disappointing service and subpar coffee; the hot chocolate is notably bitter. Staff lacks clear directions and willingness to provide helpful answers when asked.

Un welcoming staff , asked for my food to be heated because this is the way i like to eat it , ( the restaurant was empty) the response was ( no need because it’s baked today ) . The employee stacked our 3 orders in one small plate, other tables has ever single order in different plates. This wasn’t my first visit to this branch but it was the worst maybe because of the change in staff specially who took our order and gave us the food . Baristas were nice and helpful

Initially this looked like a promising brunch stop. We found a table which was a bit dirty so I went to the counter to ask for something to clean the table top with, as there didn't seem to be any staff around. I was met with an eye roll, no words and handed a cloth. Then, returning to select and order at the counter, I was completely ignored by both staff at the tills. I smiled, made eye contact and waited patiently but no-one was interested in serving me. I don't often walk out of a restaurant but decided to grab my family member and spend my money elsewhere. We ended up eating at Notes Cafe a few steps away, which was lovely - service with a smile.

Lovely place in the Nova area of Victoria. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The truffle log was amazing and tasted great. Good service from the staff too.

Our lunch was a series of mishaps, unfortunately. Firstly, staff had to be reminded that one of the coffees we ordered was supposed to be with oat milk. Thankfully, they changed this when we reminded them. Our iced coffees tasted ok but were served in regular take-away coffee cups. Perhaps there was a shortage? We weren't given a reason as to why this was the case. The hummus on my vegan salad was frozen, so I had to go back to the till and ask for a replacement. Then after waiting at our table for fifteen minutes for a cheese toastie, we asked staff why it was taking so long. They had forgotten about the order, despite the cafe being fairly empty. Not great.

Lovely internal design but high prices and poor service. Staff trying to serve too many people at once. And the code for the toilet didn’t work. Nice image, poor delivery. Staff training required.

Called midday on a Monday for the delicous ham and cheese roll and a warm mushroom pastry (forgotten name but sooo tasty). Has lovely urban vibe and comfy seats. However the flat white, despite being seemingly well prepared tasted like it needed sugar and the consistency of the milk and combined didnt seem as velvety smooth

Slow service and super small portions. Overpriced cinnamon social slice, definitely shrunk in size in comparison to past visits.

We go to this branch occasionally and enjoy the coffee and food. Staff tried to be helpful when loyalty scheme points failed to work and add to my account and suggested I contact the 'Help' section of the app - she even tried for me! I was told to pursue this by the staff member. However despite emailing and sending receipts and re- emailing absolutely nothing. This is appalling customer service. This is my last resort to get some action on a rather large bill where I have not had my 'LOYALTY' points!

Love the only vegan Danish they do. I haven't had anything else other than cappuchino and the vegan danish which I adore. I wish they stick to cash payments as it is important that I have options as a customer.

The sandwiches are nicely prepared and the coffee is good. The prices are right. The sweets are tempting but an afterthought because of their placement at entry. I like their seating outside and inside. Staff considerate and knowledgable. A good go to.
