Old Town Tavern in Lambeth

Wow. Charged £9.80 for one pint of Guiness. £9.80!!!! I had to do a double take. I would have to remortgage to become a regular. I won’t be back at these prices.

Great food and an amazing beer selection. Never too crowded and their rotating kitchen is always exceptional. Highly recommend!

Lots of beers on offer, but too many ‘off’. Really friendly barman, cool premises but £6.65 per pint (those which were available) and £3.50, £3.50!, for a bag of crisps. That’s 20% more than a McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger, 10% more than 12 packets of Walkers crisps in Waitrose. Daft and a bit of a rip-off.

Absolute rubbish, went for food with my son and partner while visiting. Must rate as the worst meal we’ve had in London! Apart from the fact that none of the food was presented at the right time it was just warmed up rubbish in a microwave by amateurs. The staff couldn’t have cared less, the manager or what appeared to be the person in charge was so laid back he was horizontal. Avoid at all costs unless you just want a drink. Thankfully this is not representative of the food or services we usually get when visiting the capital.

Had a great night, bar staff are really engaging and make you feel like an old friend. 20 beer taps to choose from and some wine for the mrs ; ) Really good Mexican food to boot. Will be coming back soon.

A great pub with vibes to suit, amazing selection of drinks and the food is YUM (nice veggie options!). Had to respond to the noise complaint review - what does one expect living next to a pub?? It's absolutely not anti-social by definition 🧐and by Karaoke I think she means Billy Keane the legend! 🥳 Highly recommend going on a Thursday evening for one of the best nights out in Clapham!

Ordered these takeaway burritos and were very pleased with what we received. Had two beef - they travelled well, and the chicken wings were very spicy! Would love an option to request extras in the burrito (extra cheese/sour cream etc). I recommend ☺️

We order one of each burrito , seasoning and taste was good , only found the pork a little hard and not been so pulled pork , but more like chunks of meat taken from ribs

We order take out from Vote For Pedro regularly, since Old Town Tavern doesn't seem to be open for dining in. The burritos are exceptionally delicious - love the beef one. Can't wait for it all to open up again with a bigger menu - my friends and I absolutely love this place.

Super cosy little bar and Mexican restaurant. Can go for a beer or for delicious Mexican food. Great options for vegan and vegetarian as well!

We just spent the evening at the Old Town Tavern. The food was ok, but not as good as when they opened. The most awkward and embarrassing thing was the man that served our food. When it arrived at the table, we asked if it contained mushrooms as my friend is allergic. He told us, in the most misogynistic tone he could muster, that my friend was extremely “silly” for not informing them. After that, it was impossible to enjoy our evening, after being “told off” by the staff for simply asking a question about the ingredients in the dish... god know how they would deal with something more then “are there any mushrooms in this?”

Had a fantastic evening of the OTT. Connor the manager looked after us extraordinarily well alongside his team. Great beer, fabulous atmosphere and some the best bar food I’ve ever had. Connor - thank you.

Brilliant food and brilliant beer. The tacos are 10/10. The bar staff are super helpful in choosing beers. Head in and see Damo and let him pick what you’re going to drink and enjoy and good night with good music and even better food.

The raw tuna dish was insane! I’ll be coming back just for this. It was still warm enough with the heaters to sit outside too. Very enjoyable all in all.

A family get together & we had such a lovely Sunday afternoon in this charming pub. The staff were really friendly, helpful & welcoming. There was a great atmosphere which was very relaxed, with babies & dogs welcome, & all well behaved. We enjoyed the Mexican street food which is delicious & different & easy to share & order extras which we did. Definitely be back soon, thank you.

Arrived in the UK last week and ended up here for a meal and a few drinks. Very friendly, kind and helpful staff. Awesome atmosphere and a wide variety of beers on tap to choose from. Food was great too.

Visited last week for food and a few drinks. Food was unreal, there was a great range of drinks and the service was second to none. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great venue in Clapham!

Decided to try the new local for a casual beer and snacks with friends. Amazing selection of beers and the Mexican food was really good - some of the best Mexican food I have had in London. Well worth a visit for something casual.

Affordable Mexican food that is absolutely delicious - highly recommended the pig poppers and Steak nachos which are both incredible!
