Brilliant meet up with cousin. Lovely food two lunches for price of one and able to chat without feeling rushed. Staff very friendly and helpful xx

Popped in after a funeral with family for a drink. Glyn behind the bar was was rude and arrogant for no reason! Whole party felt the same, not an enjoyable experiance at all!

Awful! Don’t even know where to start the baby changing unit covered in faeces! The food was awful chicken was partially raw, cold and jelly like in the middle. Coleslaw was salty mayonnaise. Chunky chips were half raw and rest were soggy! And manners on all staff and manager was unreal no one came to check our food, no apology and still charged full price as 2 meals weren’t touched!

I’ve visited many of times and it’s always been very good food. Today’s visit disappointed us, I opted for a mixed grill, on arrival I firstly noticed the sausage wasn’t cooked it was still rubbery and soft, also the steak was undercooked to how I asked for it. The peppercorn sauce tasted like burnt chocolate? I’m not sure what this means but it wasn’t pleasant it ruined the steak. I didn’t bring this to the attention of the staff, they never seem approachable.

Absolutely stunning food. Really good value. Lovely surroundings. The staff where efficient and so polite. Would not hesitate to go again.

Dropped in for lunch, pleasantly surprised. Steak pie was home made, proper hand cut chips, cosy surrounding and friendly staff, will definitely be returning.

Waitress is a star ..although She was quite busy she had time to speak and make our two little children laugh. The food was absolutely amazing. The decor is really interesting and had our kids entertained by looking at everything on display. We will certainly visit again. Good prices too. Fortunately eating Here turned what could've been a long day due to train issues into a really enjoyable experience. Well done staff. Tony

Food is good value pub food. Not a great choice of beers. Would be good if they changed the lager choice. San Miguel is always lively and needs managing before drinking. Always very clean and attention to detail, toilets included. Constant Northern Soul music playing which becomes quickly tedious. Would be good to have a mixture of styles and some slower pace as well.

What an amazing place. Had lunch here with my daughter on what is quite an emotional day for us both. We shared the pate starter and both went for the pie of the day. Al the food was really well cooked and all home made and served hot which was great. Kelsey who was our waitress was bubbly in character and nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such an enjoyable meal.

Had an absolutely beautiful meal here with my mum. We both started with the pate starter and moved on to the steak pie for mains. The food was beautiful presented, tasted amazing and fresh and everything was served hot. A very high standard and quality of food. The service provided by Kelsey was second to non. She was clean tidy and had such a lovely bubbly personality which made our time at the station even better. On the whole the venue gets a 10/10 we had a fabulous experience ,Thank you very much and we will be back!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Wide range of dishes on the menu and specials board. I had a steak pie which was homemade with plenty of tender well cooked meat enclosed in a delightful shortcrust pastry, accompanied with chunky hand cut chips and vegetables. Gravy served in a jug. There was a wonderful array of beers and cider on tap, also a varied selection of wines. Altogether a pleasant evening in a warm and comfortable environment. You could ask - ‘ Why do the locals call this Hotel ‘the killer’!’

We held a 60th birthday party here for 22 guests of all ages. We were very well looked after by the staff who allowed us to decorate the tables a little beforehand. The food as always was excellent. Highly recommended, thanks again.

Yet another STUNNING meal! Todays chefs curry was chicken dopiaza, and I went for “Killer” chicken! I’m a keen home cook, and have worked in hospitality, so I’m a right fuss pot!!! 😂 but like I just told THE WONDERFUL, warm, welcoming, polite & charming - Tish & Glyn, “it’s lucky my plate has no print on it, as it was scraped clean”! The food was PERFECT! Piping hot, home cooked and delicious! Immaculately clean environment, and a lovely chill atmosphere! AND 2 for 1 on all mains? Can’t be beaten! We came in for food before 8:00 pm to find out you had stopped serving food. What are your hours for serving food? We had just seen a movie and we’re very disappointed. Most pubs serving food often do this until at least 9. Oh well.

Comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Fabulous service from a young lady called Mo.Nothing was any problem. She was amazing throughout the meal.

This is an attractive old hotel that has been quirkily renovated and decorated. This applies to the bedrooms as well. The location is halfway between Llandudno (10 min drive) and Conwy (15 mins walk). The hotel has a large free carpark and there is an Asda supermarket across the road. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights and decided to eat in each night for the convenience and also the nice atmosphere and good meals. Our room was on the first floor up a flight of stairs (no lift) and was very large with a queen size bed, nice sitting area in a bay window, and a recently modernised bathroom. There were generous tea & coffee supplies with an additional coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was downstairs in the pub area and was all made to order with a generous cooked selection to choose from as well as yoghurts and fresh fruit. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Even though it was a busy night, staff were very accommodating as tables had to be moved for elderly family members, staff were attentive also. Food was lovey and served with a smile and all came out at same time, excellent.

Called on spec on the way home after a short break in North Wales. The waitress was very pleasant. Good choice of food including several specials. I had the Chefs pie with a baked potato that was very tasty. We took advantage of a 2 for 1 offer that made the meal very reasonable. If you wanted to eat outside there were plenty of tables. Plenty of parking.
